Am I the only one who's just MILDLY concerned that a lot of the tiktoks from the cast and crew the last couple days or so have been off and on A FUCKING COURT ROOM?!
Three days after they fought Vecna. Three days since Eddie's death.
It's Easter Sunday and Steve is hoping for a miracle.
Excerpt:
Staring down at Eddie's body as Dustin clings to his arm, Steve thinks back to every church sign he's passed driving around town this week and hears every point ringing in his ears as he eyes the wounds at Eddie's wrists, on his neck, at his stomach.
"The things that make an individual Christlike," his teacher drones in the back of his head. "Are first - to be a savior. They must save an individual, a group people, or all of humanity and in doing so the sacrifice must be great."
God, that guy was so pretentious, but Steve ignores that in favor of twisting to pull Dustin into a one armed hug.
Eddie certainly got the sacrifice part down. He saved Dustin while they all worked to save Max and, yeah, Hawkins as well.
"That sacrifice is always a fate they don't deserve," the voice continues in his head as Nancy and Robin crouch down to comfort Dustin. Maybe him too, though Steve isn't sure he deserves it.
Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.
Gerrit Cole pitched 6 shut out innings, pitching 96 balls, which is the most that he's thrown in quite a while. He got 8 strikeouts and only walked two batters. Wooooo wooooo... the Cole train has left the station, and it was a great ride. Detroit had 2 rookies who had never played in the majors, and they had to face the Cy Young award winner, Gerrit Cole. That's gotta be intimidating, but they did very well!! Great job all around!! I love watching Gerrit Cole pitch. He's the best, and he's coming back. That makes me happy. He's got so much talent and versatility in the way that he can throw a baseball. Let's go Yankees!!!!!
