(text, from Kusumi🕸️) "Hey, Doc. Something came up, and I thought it might be important to let you know about it."

Attached, is a picture of herself in the mirror. She's naked, right out of the shower, and wears an expression of just being so over it. It, so happens to be an above-average sized cock hanging between her legs.
[Text: Kusumi (Spider)]: I'm not a healthcare professional, but I will try to help if I can
[Text: Kusumi (Spider)]: New limbs? I don't believe there is any myths of spider women who gain new limbs, but maybe its drider maturatio-
oh.

stay proffesional iyana.
[Text: Kusumi (Spider)]: That is odd. I don't believe there should be any correlation to spiders or mythical creatures that would indicate you changing sex
[Text: Kusumi (Spider)]: Especially not overnight. Was there any changes before this morning?
[Text: Kusumi (Spider)]: You can visit my lab if you would like to do an examination for any abnormalities
She somehow has the proffessional decency to not save that image to her phone.

i was thinking about this and something bothered me...
neurodivergent people who get all pissed about people self-diagnosing and making tiktoks about it really screams internalized abelism. like, yeah ok, sometimes it can be a generalization of the disorder, but most of the time its just helping teenagers who dont have/have very little acsess to healthcare find out more about themselves and help them learn to unmask and become more comfortable with who they are. you guys all yell about how ‘if you really think you’re neurodivergent then you should talk to a medical proffessional this, and therapist that.’ if its so important to you, shut the fuck up and go get therapy for your internalized abelism. learn to unmask. get a new selfcare routine or some shit, i dunno.

alright i know urgent care providers are literally brutally overworked so this is a systemic issue rather than a personal or individual one but when i showed up to urgent care a week ago with a *broken arm* and the guy went "you're probably fine, you honestly probably don't need an x-ray and you'll be okay if you just go home" something kinda flipped in my mind. i know this is what healthcare is like, i have been navigating this system as a chronically ill woman for a long time, but as my injury seems not to be healing as quickly as it should be expected to be and is in fact worsening with the very conservative treatments i did end up with, i just keep going back to thinking about what would've happened if i had listened to that guy in urgent care and not insisted on an x-ray and a referral because i knew intuitively something felt off. i really do need to fistfight a medical proffessional (later though because my dominant arm is broken)

i hate it when you try to info for ur mental illness but all they say is "go on a walk! take a deep breath" and i mean yeah, but sometimes those are not enough. What if i've already done that and my excecutive dysfunction is still there? Even offline when and i try to find advice, it's still "maybe you should take a walk, a deep breath" something similar. I come for actual advice and they just parrot things i already know. it's the same feeling when you come to them with something that went wrong and instead of actual advice they just tell that it went wrong, like u don't know already.
Of course you can get proffessional help, but that takes so much time to even get too, or even get the energy to start. When i went into the healthcare site, on the first page it said "don't wait to long to get help" which i found kind of ironic knowing how long people have to wait in cues for. so a lot of it is just waiting, but there's many who don't have that time, since most only reach out when they're truly need it. that's the only time the notice it.
So i just sit there writing this, still struggling with my excecutive dysfunction that comes from me being disabled. And i fight and fight and fight, however i can trying to get myself to work on the thing i need done. i try, but that's not the most motivating thing to say to someone when you've been saying it for years. but after all it's all i can do, but try and try

Please I’m begging of you...stay home and STOP BUYING MASKS. My mom is in healthcare and believe me when I say, they have little to no supplies to keep them safe when you have to go to the hospital because you got sick. How would you feel if you had to go into a patient’s room with nothing but a flimsy smock and unsafe “mask” on. Yeah, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, doctors, etc. are doing this all around the world. If you buy masks or have any laying around your house, please please please donate them to your local hospital. Chances are, if you stay home, you won’t need them. The people who do need them can’t get them endangering everyone including themselves. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk. Stay safe out there!

i just saw this white woman on tiktok in a comment section talking about how systemic racism doesn't exist...and ya'll she's a FUCKING NURSE BECAUSE OF COURSE SHE IS. Imagine being a nurse...and not knowing about the widespread documented evidence of racial discrimination in the healthcare system perpetuated by healthcare proffessionals...or maybe she just ignores it. It's so fucking infuriating holy fuck..jesus christ this shit is not fake. systemic is not a "victim mentality" it's real and it's documented, you're just fucking ignorant. Like imagine denying reality, couldn't be me 💀

How is artificial intelligence impacting  Indian healthcare industry?  How it can improve healthcare in rural India?
Tumblr media
India is one of the countries in this world where healthcare has always been of utmost importance. Although there are always innovative, ingenious, sustainable and scalable healthcare technologies available, still these are not enough to cater to the increasing need of India’s growing population in healthcare services. To serve this situation, the implementation of technology such as big data and artificial intelligence have already been done which has helped in improving the healthcare facilities and expedited the sector in a more advance way countering present and future threats. With digital data coming to a light in modern period, today artificial intelligence(A.I) has become a crucial part in computer sciences & information. It is applied in creating intelligent systems that can stimulate human intelligence and also enables the machines to learn from past data or experiences without being explicitly programmed.
With the use of A.I, the technology has provided a positive impact and has given promising results in medical fields such as hospitals, diagnostic centres, telehealth, genetic tests, robotics, medical concierge, pharmaceuticals and medical insurance, the technologies have. The processes include mining records, designing treatment plans and creating high quality drugs at a much faster rate. As stated by Future Health Index Report released by Royal Phillips, India is leading with 76% of healthcare proffessionals already using Digital Health Records as a part of their practice(study done in top 15 countries). Applying these technologies has helped the doctors to improve their efficiency in tackling challenges they face to handle the complex medical procedures, adding to more healthcare. A.I is serving the patients in describing their symptoms in a more accurate manner, 3-D printing is helping with more customized treatments in printing tissues. Medical imaging in MRIs, X rays, mammographies, identifying patterns in the data, detecting tumours and organ anomalies are done using data sciences. Also the treatment tools and the method of precise drug delivery is upgrading both healthcare proffessionals’ and patient’s life tremendously through the use of nano technology. The government initiatives such as The Information Technology Act 2000, Information Technology Rules 2011, National e-Health Authority(NeHA) and The US-India Science & Technology Endowment fund, entails the services in exchanging & expanding of health information and helping in innovation which will improve the quality of healthcare by the control use of artificial intelligence.
Recent studies have shown that these technologies have helped the health proffessionals in early detection of diseases by analyzing various vitals of patients and in predicting future issues, analyzing through a much wider scope of data. With the evolution of A.I algorithms and machine learning in past few years, the needs of patient have personalized avoiding further health complications. The overall significant impact, these technologies have created, reshaping the health services in India has led to their use on a vast scale alongwith being taken care of all the protective measures.
Through a study, it is anticipated that the applications of A.I in the healthcare services will be expanding at a rate of ~40% by 2021. Around 65% of India’s population resides in rural areas which gets deprived of healthcare facilities and there has always been a dearth of proper medical services as ~70% of the healthcare infrastructure is present in cities. Thus in such cases, big-data enabled applications in A.I, machine learning and data sciences must be put into light which can help the rural people of India. With the use of these technologies, healthcare facilities can be provided at a much lower costs alongwith increased efficiency resulting in faster services to patient and terminating the unnecessary procedures. Such as, effective and early diagnosis, taking correct treatment decisions and finding the root cause of disease are some of the methods in which these technologies can come handy Through artificial intelligence, the native languages of rural people can be understood, machine learning can help in predictive analysis, virtual monitoring can be done, records can be kept and maintained in the systems digitally in accordance with regular e-checkups.
All these informations show that the correct use of these technologies can lead in promoting the health services in rural India to a next level with preventing human sufferings with proper caution. And also at the same time, the potential risks and harm that may be caused by the un-controlled developments of these technologies must be kept in mind.

bit of a personal update on my skin condition.
it’s been a tough couple weeks.
this is going to get personal. and long. but you are invited to read, if you wanna.
My family doesn’t have health insurance. I’m the only kid in my class who doesn’t. Although public healthcare is available in Argentina, certain situations make it harder for my family to access it. We are from a lower social class, we are working people, and we have been struggling.
Of course, health issues are often overlooked when you are focused on putting food on the table. So for literal years, the rash around my neck and legs and mouth was left there, just put some common cream on it and hope for the best. I had normalized this situation because it’s what I grew up with: my parents and other family members don’t go to the doctor unless it’s real bad.
I had literally normalized not going to the doctor.
When I had tendonitis I didn’t go to get it checked out until I literally couldn’t write. It could’ve been prevented, I could’ve lessened its effects, but I just went with it. And I don’t blame my parents either, no. They also grew up like this.
So, this year, when said rash worsened, my mom and I finally -finally- started to worry. It was no longer normal. It never was to begin with. My mouth looks like the Joker’s. No kidding. My neck looks like I engage in really rough sex. I literally wake up with cherry-red skin, it scales, it never goes away.
So my mom grew desperate, I grew desperate and anguished because people asked. And I look in the mirror and I see that. So my mom bought this antibacterial medication, called cephalexine, and as we always do, I took half a pill without asking and hoped for the best.
It fucked up my stomach. Half a pill. I spent two days in and out of the toilet. Turns out cephalexine can have side effects on people with weaker digestion systems, like mine. And I was planning to go along. So I woke up the next morning, and my mom wanted to give me the other half, and I, finally, FUCKING FINALLY, said,
“No. I’m not drinking that. I’m not drinking that or ANYTHING AT ALL UNTIL I KNOW WHAT THE HELL THIS IS AND A PROFFESSIONAL SAYS WHAT I SHOULD TAKE. I’m not taking anything else, mom. I want to go to a dermatologist.”
And I am.
Guys, I am actually going to see a dermatologist tomorrow and I have tears in my eyes because of how relieved I am.
I wasn’t allowed to donate blood because the people extracting it didn’t know what the rash was. It could be bacterial and it could hurt others. They were so nice about it, they treated me with so much kindness and a gentle approach, but I was anguished. I cried on my best friend’s shoulder afterwards. I was ashamed.
I still am, I probably will be for some time. But I finally stopped normalizing my situation. I have a condition on my skin that needs medical treatment. And I am going to treat it.
I’m finally going to treat it.

I feel like I’ve been functioning at 30% capacity or less at home since the pandemic started. Like, 50% is my mental health issues rearing its ugly head and the other 20% is me dealing with COVID 19 drama at work.
I have a new found respect for healthcare proffessional that can keep their shit together after work because I definitely haven’t been functioning like a human being at home for the last 5 months.
