*veronica’s phone dings, signifying a voicemail*

*Veronica presses play*

“Veronica? Where the fuck are you? I’m not going to pretend I’m not mad, because I’m absolutely furious with you right now- I banned you from going out. You directly disobeyed me.

But I need to know you’re safe. Call me the second you get this.”

Heather Duke: did he say he banned you from going out?

Veronica: I, uh, gotta go. I don’t want him to get any more mad.
