[Miss Heed back in her superhero status is confronted by Flug who is still disappointed she didn't take to heart the words he said to her in the rehab center.]

Miss Heed: Nobody loved me as a nobody.

Flug (angrly retorts): I did.

[Miss Heed is stunned as she pauses to listen to what he has to say.]

Flug (with a sad look rants) : Before the superheroes, and before the fame. Before the lie. To me you were a somebody, Cecelia. Now you're nothing but a fake. A sham. A con. You're a joke.

[MIss Heed hid her face away while using her powers to create a distraction to cause a smokescreen bomb to explode to make her escape, but his words still stung in her heart.]

The Heed is an advanced parasitic organism that functions as an independent hunter, stalking infected zones in search of prey. Unlike the more hive-oriented creatures of the biome, it operates alone, guided by a twisted instinct rather than direct biome control.

Origins & Transformation

The Heed was once a collection of assimilated humans whose bodies were forcibly merged into a singular entity. Their heads, now grotesquely fused, serve as biological sensory organs, processing sound, movement, and vibrations.

Over time, their appearance distorts, their features stretched and warped into terrifying, expressionless faces. Their original voices have been replaced with guttural, alien murmurs, sometimes mimicking fragmented human speech.

The process of integration into the Heed is irreversible—the consciousness of each victim is completely erased.

Anatomy & Adaptive Traits

Size & Structure: Typically standing 8-9 feet tall at its highest point, the Heed moves with unsettling fluidity.

Head Cluster Function: The multiple heads act as sensory nodes, enhancing its ability to locate prey through auditory signals and biome vibrations.

Limbs & Mobility: Its spindly spider-like legs allow it to crawl over uneven terrain, scaling walls, ceilings, and submerged environments with ease.

Camouflage & Lurking: Its dark, sinewy body blends into the shadows, making detection difficult.

Behavior & Hunting Techniques

The Heed is a silent stalker, watching from a distance before moving in for the kill.

It never moves in a straight line, instead circling its prey, deliberately distorting the perception of space through erratic movements.

The closer it gets, the more the victim experiences The Call of the Hive Effect.

Underwater Ambush: If a target takes refuge in water, the Heed plunges beneath the surface and waits motionless, only striking when the victim least expects it.

Weaknesses & Limitations

Light Sensitivity: Bright, concentrated light disorients its multiple heads, causing temporary confusion.

Disruptive Frequencies: Certain ultra-low-frequency sounds disrupt its balance, briefly slowing its movements.

Overstimulation: If multiple loud signals flood its sensory heads, it may briefly lose coordination, its movements becoming frantic and unpredictable.

Fire: All parasites can be easily killed by fire.

I Noticed Many Of The Workers And Assistants Were Brainwashed Too

Is she that insecure and insufferable that she needs people to be brainwashed to be willing to work under her? I can imagine those who actually had to work personally with her would find her demanding and draining so it would be a turnover rate if hey weren't brainwashed which is a special type of dick move for her to do.

We do know Anana Pina can barely tolerate her and often butts heads with her so I can see lesser workers almost itching to quit if they weren't brainwashed into being her slaves. I do wonder if she never brainwashed Anana is because her father threatened if she ever did that she would have her fortune cut off and she would need to actually be her own community manager and not pretending to be so.
