If it's darling's birthday, he would celebrate. Why wouldn't he? It's the day you were born. Of course it's something to celebrate. Perhaps a candlelit dinner would do. Maybe even a dinner at a restaurant if you've been acting agreeable. He would try his best to show his appreciation for you and throw in a gift or two (totally not something he found in your online shopping wishlist) for good measure.

On the other hand, if it's his own birthday, Chrollo is indifferent. The most he might do is indulge in his favourite book or drink something other than black coffee for once, but other than that there's nothing special. Before he had darling, he didn't even bother with those, but ever since darling is in the picture, he finds himself in a giddier mood than usual on his birthday. In a way, if he wasn't born, he wouldn't have had the pleasure of meeting you.
