2- thoughts on veganism?

uh... my first thought is 'good for you, I guess?' which basicly means if you want to be a vegan, that's great, but it doesn't make you morally superior somehow.(Insert Scott Pilgrim Reference) It probably means you've got access to resources lots of other people have; and a distressing amount of modern veganism is based on some morally questionable choices in regards to, you know ,human labor.

I personally am more healthy when I consume animal protein on a regular basis. I desperately wish that the meat industry was less... like that, and support local when I can. Much like any diet what will work for one person just won't have the same effect on another.

Like many things, it's fine if you want to but don't try and force people around you to do it.

19- the veggie you dislike the most?

eggplant. my mouth curls at the idea of eating it. I've only eaten like twice to my knowledge with enough cheese on it that it barely counted as a vegetable any more, and it still made my mouth do a yuck. I mean, if you look at it, it's all glossy and well colored so it should be delicious, right? But apparently purple vegetables are not my friend, because I also get a reaction when I eat heirloom tomatoes, eg: nightshade with better breeding.

Like, every other vegtable I've ever disliked I've come to terms with, but eggplant is firmly in the no zone.

28-last meal on earth?

Steak, sushi and dumplings. With a side of french fries. Roll me to the execution, buddy, because I am eating my weight in these. (or rather until I can't fit any more in. my appetite is not what it used to be.)

Feb 7, 2020 - planted a row of different heirloom varieties to see which is best suited to our soil and climate. The I’ll save the seeds from the healthiest plants and in a few tomatoe generations we will have our own type of tomato adapted to our plot! Also weeded the onion bed and admired more sprouting seedlings 🌿
