as much as i agree that there is a man bias in the tma fandom i think the argument about helen vs michael misses the fact that although helen had more time on podcast and an interesting story, michael has an actual backstory other than "was a tory" that is very connected to the plot and also interesting and tragic. while helen has a great story that plays absolutely amazingly well into the story's huge theme of what it means to be human, micheal i think is more interesting and developed as a character which is partly why there is such a heavy fandom bias towards him rather than just misogyny, although i agree the bias isnt all that justified.
smth like wtgfs vs doorkeay or terminal velocity is much more of an issue to be brought up
