Hey I just wanted to clear up some things with my version of dick!

Basically, the way that he acts is technically a mask for his identity, but it's also because he doesn't really know who he is. Hence why sometimes you can see his mood shift extremely quickly and why he can act rly silly and goofy one minute and be extremely upset the next.

Any past coping mechanisms mentioned for him are based half on cannon and half in Fannon. Yk how ppl hc that jason got smoking from dick? My version use to smoke and etc etc.

Another reason he acts the way he does is because to me he's still kind of in the time of his life where he's trying to figure out who he is and what he wants to do in life. But due to events in cannon and in the rp he feels like he has little to no support system. He feels like he can't trust some people, and the other people aren't big fans of coo so he feels as if they don't like him since like

People always bring it up with him and stuff

So I think that he feels like everyone, including coo, either 1 has something against him, 2 doesn't trust/like him, or 3 he can't trust them

He can't even trust himself (if you look at the start of the seal rp the saving arc and stuff..) and scroll enough to see him going 'hrnn..' or something similar (just random thoughts) he kinda mumbles to himself alot, I stole that from a hc that some of the bat kids got certain stuff from bruce and so I made dick act like him in that aspect lol

Anyways, my version of dick acts silly or weird at times because he likes to make others feel happy, if you scroll down far enough I can almost guarantee that you will find something of him saying something along the lines of him just wanting others to feel happy, he doesn't even want to really pick a side of who he loves. Because he genuinely does not have the capacity to do so.

He wants others to be happy, even at his expense. But he'll try his best not to show it (like I said, if you scroll down far enough to see his ramblings to himself or just single posts that are out of the ordinary for what he posts, its because he doesn't tag them) he doesn't want people to really see how he truly feels, even if it's a smidge.

And if he doesn't want to answer something, he redirects it or just says something stupid. Because it's all a mask. An act. He doesn't know how to respond. Because truly he's not mentally stable enough to do so. He doesn't want to seem like he's picking a side AND he doesn't want to hurt someone.

He tries his best to be there for everyone, the way he acts and what he does shows that. But he sort of knows that he can't, he just doesn't want to admit that. He constantly sacrifices his happiness for others gain. And for what? He doesn't know what to do, but he tries to do what's best for everyone BUT himself. And when he does find someone he loves, people don't approve of it. So yk

Do you think the Vampzieks were born vampires, or were they turned at some point through a curse or something of that ilk?

In terms of the asks that I've answered, in the back of my mind I've approached them from the 'born into vampiric' aristocracy but I've never actually decided for sure (hence why I don't tag any of the vampire stuff because in my head it's all theoretical at this point).
