Bihar has one of the oldest civilizations in India, but its historic sites are in urgent need of conservation. In the course of my work, I had a chance to visit Munger and its fort. These monuments have witnessed a great deal over the centuries, but today they are in needof care and attention. The fort lies around 9 kilometres from the main urban settlement of Munger. Known yet ignored by the growing population, the fort has become an evening spot for locals. Once in a million days, the village and fort are visited by some eminent personality or other, but the rest of the time every day is the same. You can find a variety of people gathering here as the evening draws on. A few old people discussing religion and politics, women in separate groups discussing family affairs with understated yet heartfelt emotions, a few youths making the evening smokier, and of course the iconic Bihar sight – cattle and their owners. As the evening grows darker, silence spreads, leaving the ruin to look ever more haunted. This is how it looks at night. So, pack your gear and please capture how your village looks. Keeping shooting… keep posting! Chehni Kothi is the  17th-century building was originally a garrison built by King Dhadhu. This tower was built with planks of timber and stone alternately, forming a strong grid of planks that is reminiscent of the traditional Kullu/Kangri architectural style. There is no access to the radiance of this Goddess Yogini. There is a small make-shift shack that sells steaming tea and heartwarming Maggi nearby. Location- Himachal Pradesh

Khajuraho Group of Monuments It's surprising to see these humongous monuments made in an era where there were no modern tools available for people to work on the raw materials. And when I say raw materials it's no ordinary raw materials. They are like huge rocks that weighs in tonnes. But even after been so heavy no one can doubt on the workmanship performed on these monuments which any day are fit to categorised as Unesco's World Heritage Sites. Rocks intricately carved in such a way that one would think that these carvings are literally talking to one. Rocks neatly cut, diced and lifted from ground level without the help of cranes or any rock blasting dynamite to hundreds of feet just with the sheer determination of human will power. If one has not visited this place would suggest to go there once the Corona lockdown is over. . . . . No Repost without permission . . . .
