HAAHAAAAAA YEEAH I FINALLY GET TO DRAW THE HERO'S SHADE!! This is great!
And Twilight Princess Link has made a comeback too! This won't be the first time you'll see these two, I still plan on drawing them for the free for all x]
OoT Zelink fu**** me up...SO BAD. Then, Twilight Princess casually drenched my dead corpse in gasoline and lighted it on fire . I think that's why i am obsessed with BotW Zelink fluff... to cope with my OoT PTSD. OoT Zelink is so ******* tragic. Help Me.
I love the fannon that Time calls Twi "Pup" as an affectionate, playful nickname and tease. continuing that train of thought.. I think that there is this golden opportunity when Time fully realizes that Twilight is his descendant by blood. The thought would cross his mind that possibly Twi is named after him, HIM. As of now, he is Link Sr, and I think that would be a soft spot for Time's heart. Link Sr has a Link Jr.
Seeing as they use their shared name LINK for something that absolutely demands attention. Link Sr would call out "Link Jr" with the same energy as a parent saying your full name.
Wind smugly "Oooh you're in trouble"
I can believe that is how he told Malon that they have a descendant "Hey guess what, I am Link Sr now. Yes, we have a Jr, it's one of these boys. Guess which one it is".
For those who don't have Twilight Princess but would like to know:
The move Twilight performed while fighting Dink is called the helm splitter. It's one of the Hidden Skills that the Hero's Shade, aka Time (but as a skeleton oof) taught him
This move is often an instant kill. It is harder against Lizalfos, so the goal is to quickly turn around and deliver a slash. He lands with his back to the enemy- which made Dink grab him from behind (and bit Twi's arm ouch). But it's one of the most powerful moves Shade taught him- he practically ripped out Dink's shoulder.
One of the art screenshots is not Lu, but art Jojo did of shade teaching him to do it. (Can confirm it was terrifying- bro stopped the blade an inch from Twi's head- after telling him it's called the helm splitter)
Back when I first played Twilight Princess I never really got the impression that the Hero's Shade stuck around because he wanted to be known or that he thought his skills were that important. Rather, I had the impression that he knew or suspected something bad was coming and wanted to make sure whoever faced it next was prepared. And considering what the Hero of Time went through, yeah that makes sense. So Ordona's going to have to deal with him sticking around.
You may notice he doesn't have quite the same speech patterns as Tiny, there's a reason for that!
I think I'm going to go with Roman influences for Hyrule in the age of OoT/MM, and use more Celtic influences for Twilight Princess.
[ID: A colored, digital comic featuring characters from Dey's Links Meet AU with a focus on Mask. The colors are muted and warm.
The group walk through a forest marked as "Rancher's Era." Rancher leads the group, commenting that they're "Almost there". Tiny, Tracks, Mask, Vet and Sky follow behind him, in that order.
"Oh, how sad..." someone says. A skeleton rests against a tree, sword and shield in hand, wearing the Hero's Shade armor. Mask's shadow casts upon the skeleton, their head lining up right with the skull.
Mask furrows their brow, expression near indiscernible.
"Kid, hurry up!" Mask rolls their eyes and turns to follow.
Sky waves to Mask as they run ahead to catch up. Their eyes are not visible. End ID]
@athikustra asked: Does Tiny Time ever know that the wolf is his future descendant?
Twilight has a tendency to get sappy, much to Midna's eternal disgust (and fondness). But to clear it up, no, little Time never finds out the wolf is his descendant while in the war.
Here to the other part of this ask: Who has Twi seal of approval?
