Romano: He's the type to be doing work late into the night in a more comfortable nook to the point where he'll just doze off into sleep. Argentina would probably find him sleeping in the living room legs sprawled over the sofa not even listening to his alarm go off. This is something she would be concerned about though, since she's the type to make sure her lover is doing okay. If they got on a fight Romano would be the type to be a hot head first, regret it later. Since she's also quite a bit stubborn, it takes a while for her to get more level headed. In the meantime, he knows he'll have to wait a bit for her to calm herself (and he feels very guilty for making her feel that way) so he'll make his way to the couch and camp there until she's ready to talk and make up.

Argentina: She is curious (and nosy) so if she wants the scoop on anything or anyone, she's not letting anyone stop in her way. Romano is more of an introverted and tends to have a more withdrawn vibe to himself. He's just as nosy as her tho, and will probably let her do the talking and probably debrief when they get back

is the adventurous eater

Romano: The man is a first class super talented chef for crying out loud. Of course he's willing to try new things! His love language is acts of service. So if there's anything he can do to cook the person he loves something that sweeps them off their feet, he's willing to push the barriers. Especially if it means trying something new or making a fusion of his comfort foods to share. It gives him the challenge and it gives him new ideas to work with.

Argentina: This girl gets cold easily so she will snatch the covers while she sleeps. Romano has learned that the hard way when she comes over and cuddles with her at night. He's brought a backup blanket just in case. Heck, he's even bought a heater for the nights she comes over and that still doesn't stop her.

Argentina: She is a it'll be done eventually, he is not. He is very organized and likes to have a nice looking house, she does too but she'll forget easily. At most, she'll do one thing and halfway she'll stop and remember she needs to do another thing. In a way they match each other in that he keeps her in check on what to do to keep their house clean and she tries to make living more fun. At most she needs to make the task more fun or interesting (or Romano will have to give her something in exchange for doing the work in return which in her case a meal is fine enough for her but that would lead to more dishes to clean)

tries to surprise their partner more often

Romano: This man's love language is acts of service and quality time. So he's going to go out of his way to make sure that she knows how much he actually loved her. These two have been on the longest slow burn, friends to best friends to lovers so all this bottled up is gonna be spilling. He never expected someone to like him for who he is they way she does, especially since everyone compares him to his brother all the time. So the fact that she does, he's willing to return the favor times 1000s.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor

Argentina: This girl needs organization stat, she needs to have a basket for her laundry or you're going to find different clothes for different seasons all over the place. It doesn't help either that she wants to be up to date on all the clothing and fashion trends. Going shopping with her friends all the time doesn't help either. One day she'll be wearing a new scarf and the next day she'll lose it in the house. (Romano has found it in the kitchen floor after she snuck to get chips)

stays up til 2 AM reading

Both. It honestly depends on who is reading what. Both of them like to get the scoop on what's going on in the world (and what other nations are doing and the drama that occurs) Romano will be reading the newspaper to see how the nation boys are doing, and Argentina will be reading tea/gossip articles talking about how the girl nations have cause havoc or a new trend. If its something they're both invested; they read it on their own individually while in bed. Eventually one of them will mutter something under their breath the other might hear about the topic and you've got a whole discussion going on between the 2 until the sun goes up.

sings in the shower

Both. She loves to sing to the top hits going on in Latinoamerica whether or not there's someone in the house while he'll tend to sing when he thinks no one's around to hear him. She'll peak to take a listen tho, even if he doesn't believe it she thinks he has the most beautiful voice in the world

takes the selfies

Depends.

Both of them have a good selfie and face card game. Argentina is the more in the moment suddenly will take out her phone and take a selfie if she thinks the vibes are right. He's a bit more calculated on the selfies, if its something he wants to remember he'' take a selfie of both of them. Usually its something sweet she's done to him that makes him feel loved and wanted, he wants to keep that moment preserved

plans date night

Romano - This man is so meticulous on his planning. A textbook quality time and acts of service kind of lover. The downside is he needs everything to go RIGHT down to the miniscule detail. He's afraid that one wrong move can make her leave like everyone else. She's always told him and shown him that its never the case, but it's hard for someone to break off from old fears. Either way, she does appreciate all he does and it brings him alot of warmth and happiness to see her respond with so much love. It make him want to keep that lovey dovey feeling as much as possible.

I saw enough blood in my work. I didn't need more of it in my free time. But I really, really love races, still do! I taught Italy how to make supporter flags. He was crazy good at it. He would make a few dozen and sell them for some pocket money. And then get sick over eating too much candy, ha ha ha. Good times

I am able to see with both eyes. As for a story, let me tell you about this huge fish that ate pieces of my land and how the women saved the island!

Åntes na tiempo (a long time ago), the ancestors of the modern day CHamorus came to the Marianas, a mighty race of people. They were called taotaomo’na which means “the people of before.” It is said that the taotaomo’na were giants, very clever and wise, and that they possessed magical powers.

During that time a group of fishermen who fished in Hagåtña Bay noticed that the mouth of the bay was quickly growing larger and larger. They could not understand what was causing it to grow. Similarly, a group of fishermen from Pago noticed that Pago Bay was also growing larger and larger. It seemed that the center of the island was being eaten away on both sides.

The people could no longer ignore what was happening. The land between Hagåtña and Pago was becoming narrower each day. They realized that if this trend continued much longer the island would soon become two separate islands.

A meeting was called to bring together all the wise taotaomo’na. After comparing their observations everyone agreed that something had to be done – and quickly! They realized there must be an answer about what was causing the narrowing center of Guåhan, but unfortunately, no one knew what it was. The group disbanded without knowing quite what to do.

A few days later a Pago fisherman was out early in the morning doing his day’s work when he spotted a giant fish! The fisherman, curious to find out more about the large creature, tried to approach it. As he neared, he saw that it was eating big chunks of land! But when he came even closer the giant fish saw him and quickly swam away.

The fisherman ran to tell everyone about the giant fish that he had seen chewing away at the land in Pago Bay. When they heard his account, the people were outraged and vowed to fend off the giant fish.

Early the next morning all the strong men of Guahan gathered with their weapons and started out on their mission. They were going to stop the giant fish from chewing through the island!

Hagåtña and Pago Bays were filled with canoes of fishermen and others who wanted to help. The men paddled into the bay looking for the terrible fish. Some searched along the coral reef while others looked in the deep ocean outside the reef. The men searched for hours, but no giant fish was seen. As nightfall came everyone returned home filled with disappointment.

The search for the giant island-eating fish continued for many days. Enthusiasm to find it lasted a long time. But no matter how hard the men searched, the fish eluded them.

The news of the failure to find and destroy the giant fish spread from village to village. Some of the young maidens heard the news and were fascinated by the efforts to catch the fish.

The young women talked about the giant fish whenever they gathered to wash their hair and rinse it with fresh water scented with lemons. Their favorite spot to gather for this task was at the Hagåtña Springs. When they finished, the pool would be covered with lemon peels.

One day a young maiden in Pago noticed these same peels floating in Pago Bay. She was puzzled by their appearance. After some thought, she realized that the giant fish must have eaten a hole all the way under the island from Pago Bay to Hagåtña Springs! She told the other maidens, that must be where the giant fish was hiding.

The next day the maidens gathered at the Hagåtña Springs. They were amused the brave, strong men were unable to capture the giant fish. The maidens then decided they would catch the fish themselves. Cutting off their dark tresses, they wove a net with their long black hair. Because their hair had magical powers, they knew their net would have magical powers, too.

While they wove they began to sing. They sang for hours, and as they continued to sing, the net grew larger and larger. Even the giant fish could hear their singing from underwater. Enchanted by the sound of their beautiful voices, the fish swam out from its hiding place to listen to the singing maidens. As the fish approached the mouth of the spring, the maidens drew closer to the fish, still singing and carrying their net of hair. Suddenly they spread their magic net over the spring and dived into the pool, surrounding the fish. The giant fish was trapped and could not escape! In triumph, the maidens then summoned some of the men to help dispose of the giant fish. With their wisdom, magic and beautiful singing, the young maidens had saved Guåhan!
