Well...I have a whole ass OC for Ireland but that may be a little more than a redesign. So I also included Seychelles because girl needs more melanin and textured hair. So here is Michelle and my version of Ireland Niamh.

My first favourite is probably Nyo Canada x Ukraine (mostly due to Maddie being an easy self insert but shhh). Not including Nyos I have to go with my first wlw ship ever: Belgium x Taiwan. I just feel they have similar personalities being both cheerful and bubbly, so I think they'd get along well.

I think that the reason the Hetalia fandom seems impossible to leave isn't just the openness and room for creativity in the fandom (although that is definitely a factor), but because personifying non-human concepts is just a thing that humans have liked to do for all of our history. Things like ancient sun gods are personifications, and country personifications are also as old as countries themselves. But in our time, it sounds weird to say "My hobby is personifying nations!" If you like something fictional, it has to be connected to a specific media. So we simply refer to personified nations as "Hetalia", when what we're really doing is carrying on the timeless human tradition of personifying concepts that are important to our lives.

Sooooo... What I'm hearing is that the Hetalia characters could be our Gods.

I have a main favorite character which is Canada and he's mostly been more favorite but sometimes Sweden, Switzerland or Netherlands has. But after my 1st favorite they all kinda tie together and mush together so hard to really make a list of them.

thank you anon! i really, really enjoyed that one :) i admittedly don't often draw him looking so unguarded and relaxed (as opposed to being a charming Hollywood showman or looking serious), but Alfred under the stars is something i'd now like to draw more often. mentally, when i sketched it, i pictured a moment where older Alfred shows a glimpse of the young boy who once looked up to the rivers of stars in the heavens before all that modern light pollution, and never stopped finding wonder in it. and part of him will always be that boy.

Me and him are making a Apfelkuchen (apple cake) or an Apfel crumble cake. Because apples are amazing, we might decorate on top of the cake some small but soft cinnamon and brown sugar pretzels with apple pieces on them to make it more pretty and whatnot. There’s something about apples and fall time with German aesthetic is just mmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMmmmm…

I mean he and I COULD make his favorite, Black Forest cake, but I mean I want be just a wee bit more different hehe. And I would make him this during Oktoberfest, drink a few pints and nom on some of this and muah~ 💋 delish!

Rusame is a bad ship because Ivan and Alfred don't kinks each other. Ivan loves weak, small submissives who can be beaten with a whip, dressed up in a maid's dress(Lithuania, Latvia or China), who cry a lot and follow his any orders. Alfred likes tsundere twinks who insult him but love him deep down(England, Japan or Romano)

I respect that, and I think everyone is inclined to have their own specific versions of a character/ship! If you don’t agree with the ship that’s perfectly fine too, but there’s also so many interpretations for these characters that other people come up with ^^

For me, I think Ivan can get Alfred in a maid dress after a good old Cold War-style rough and tumble, that both of them find entertaining and fun. And Alfred will always be a man-boobs man, especially for Ivan’s muscles, in my heart.

4. Ya know. I haven't thought much on this for a while? I think either more of the Nordics, like Faroe Islands or Åland. Or. The Middle East.

8. I think most of my fanfic pet peeves are kinda general to every fandom I'm in, tbh. 😅 I think I avoid certain fics but my opinion on why is probably better left unsaid. I might be a little picky, but I can't think of anything that I could really consider a pet peeve?

God really depends on dub or sub.

Sub, England's and Austria's are probably my favourite. England's I just find so fitting for him and Austria's Japanese voice actor just has such a soothing voice.

Germany's Japanese voice actor gets an honorary mention just for the higher section in 'Ich Liebe.'

Dub. I love Germany's voice actor a lot for him. I'm glad England finally got a good English VA for the latest season who was actually from the uk so had a grasp of the slang/common phrases (even though he was Scottish not English). OH how could I forget Ian Sinclair. Personally, I think his deeper voice is much more fitting for Romano than the higher voice of the va in the sub. Eric Vale as America is also one I really like and got excited hearing in season 7. And like with Roma I actually prefer Eric's Canada over the sub version.
