so i realized tht all the dlcs are for house flipper and not house flipper 2.. went ahead nd finally bought hf2 !!!!! i can't wait to play it more, i wish it wasnt 5am

My first House Flipper 2 flip went well, giving "More than a Trailer" a converted garage (into a billiard room) and a color scheme that goes back to my overused choices in Sims 3... and sometimes 4... but y'know what? It works. The weird part is the flooring that I tried to make look like carpet but is actually dyed cork and ended up a lil' more greenish-brown than I was hoping. By the time I realized it, pretty much everything was done and I didn't want to risk wasting money on new flooring since I had no idea what kinda auction result to expect.

I kept most of the floorplan and only resurfaced some of the outside of the house, partly because I was still learning my way around the finer points of the game as well as being somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of customization options. Eventually, it was payout time, and I was honestly relieved to see the end result even though the value of gold coins in the game is hella relative:

This is a new threat for her so she has to be cautious, especially when her robo, HF1, isn't exactly that strong compared to the others. She hopes one day she'll get one but HF1 will do. The robo looks like something humans would make-primitive yet radiates power.

"You're the one who started it." Carefully does she submerge herself further within the water. Nerissa has no idea what to expect from this...thing. It's best she play it safe for now. Her red eyes study it carefully, wondering if there's a way to prey apart to reach the little creature inside of it. If she can do that, killing this thing would be easy.

okay, so I got the (one sided) crack ship outta the way (SkaterDawg) (Olivia and Adam) so now it’s time to get (not) serious

there aren’t many character options, only six teens and a few adults. I don’t know anything about adults so ima just ignore them for now (although Park’s and Dolly’s interactions in the show are mighty sus if you ask me just saying) (but I don’t ship it really)

two of these six are taken already (Maya and Frank) so that just leaves Moppington, Olive Oil, Dawg Bro, and The Mechanic. Or engineer whatever.

Three of these options low key don’t seem like they’d even care for relationships, but who cares! Shipping there must be. So let’s see every option!

They would commit crimes together (they already have) will break into abandoned places (or not abandoned) as date ideas and play video games (Ava always wins)

This one would be the most interesting in concept, I think. Classic “my ex-boss’s daughter be kinda…” thing. Or, “my dad controls your paycheck” “ha, not anymore,”

both their social battery’s will run out ten minutes into the first date. They both find Clark annoying and will bully him together. Ava would harass General Park relentlessly as Olivia just begs her to stop exposing every single general to exist (she knows all of them personally) Ava could fix those daddy issues like the amazing engineer queen she is 🤩 plus the undoubtedly goofy robo (or alternate version of HF1) Olivia will bring back with her from da shadow realm.

Their Veritas association with one another would cause some bumps in the road, though. Maybe, maybe not. (Olivia def scared the crap outta Ava in that episode 💀)

House Flipper 2 seems great so far. HF1 is pretty iconic and well liked but it’s also kinda like, an alpha that never really ended imo. HF2 Just has so much more depth and freedom and feels like a real finished game and not a generic asset flip, pun intended.

ugh, i've been feeling so nauseated since late this morning. i don't even know what the cause of it is at this point. i thought it was motion sickness from playing a little bit of house flipper 2 and getting used to the new animations from hf1 to hf2, but my motion sickness doesn't last this long. not sure if possible food poisoning. my partner suggested it might be my glasses.

When her line of experiments was shut down when Oscorp's CEO was arrested for his unethical practices, they released her and other experiments that could function in society to adapt and live regular lives. Although she is sweet-looking, she is The Curators' brawn.

Jude "Velis" Livingston (They/Them), code-named Critter. A Vrecco (humanoid alien) from Troria-HF1. Adaptive shape-shifting allows them to blend in with humans. Can warp through shadows, entering a sub-space dimension between each one. Able to cloak themself in shadow, and uses their claws and sharp teeth as their weapon. Was imprisoned for a time by a government agency, but was released by force by The Curators.

Currency and price comparison between House Flipper 1 and 2

The change from using dollars in House Flipper 1 to using gold coins in House Flipper 2 has been a bit jarring for me, so I figured I'd throw some time into finding comparable items in both games and see if I could work out what a gold coin is worth in dollars. Spoilers / tl;dr: there's no logical comparison, the gold coin currency is essentially meaningless, and overall price values have changed drastically on items in the second game even if you just compare their general value.

Le maths, using items with the same or extremely similar models and rounding to the nearest half gold piece:

HF1 White paint (medium) $13.74 / (large) $25.24 -- HF2 (one size) 112g

HF1 Elegant light switch $14.02 -- HF2 Olivia light switch 7g

HF1 Kuba sofa $785.39 -- HF2 Garland sofa 927g

Using a medium bucket of white paint, 1 dollar = 8 gold Using a large bucket of white paint, 1 dollar = 4.5 gold

Conclusion: As stated in the spoilers, there appears to be no real price correlation between games, and no logical dollar value for gold coins. The white paint comparison is particularly "meh" because it's difficult to compare how much paint is contained in the HF2 bucket, and I'd mostly thrown it into the test data because it's something that exists in both games and is easy to find in the menu… and also because when I started HF2 I felt like paint was super expensive since there seemed to be no good way to understand what a gold coin was worth. Now that I can see it laid out amongst the general comparisons here, it is a little bit spendy if not counting items that have skyrocketed in price with the second game (that lamp, ouch).
