Haikyuu!! Boys Wearing Dresses Headcanons

A/N: honestly making this because this is what I did last night. Yes, I cosplayed the majority of these fit volleyball playing men wearing dresses. And I have no regrets.

Notes: Scenarios will vary depending on the character. Also, these are in character x reader style.

Okay so we all know how determined he is, correct?

The little tangerine lost a bet and had to dress up for whenever he went out next or else nobody would toss to him.

Funny enough, guess who had a date with you the next day?

Baby is tiny and slim so he definitely has the figure to work something definitely on the more flowy yet clingy type

So meeting up at the train station and seeing this little ball of sunshine in a full getup was a bit of a surprise.

But not an unwelcomed one.

He was standing at a concrete pillar, holding onto the bottom of the dress for dear life with the brightest blush.

Tanaka and Nishinoya were the ones who styled him, saying “he had to be the cutest boyfriend for Y/N!!!”

Standing there with his head down, a pastel pink dress that reached his mid thigh clinging to his slim form with a white undershirt coming up to his neck underneath.

A sheer white cardigan draped over his arms paired with white thigh high socks and cute little pink flats.

When he saw you, he almost forgot he was dressed up. Smiling brightly and waving to you before he went back to blushing like he was around to explode.

Waving his arms around like a mad man and hiding behind the pillar shyly.

“D-Don’t look, Y/N!!! I don’t want you to see me like this and ruin your image of me!!” He cried

After seeing you smile though, he peeked his head out before slowly stepping to you with the cutest pout.

“D-Do you think I’m less manly now..? Or weird..?”

After getting a comforting response from you, he lit back up to his bouncy self.

He took your hand and started to lead you.

“Thank you, Y/N. Though, this won’t happen again. This would suit you better than it would me...”

Aside from Hinata getting continuously hit on, it was a pretty amazing date.

Sugawara Kōshi

The setter had honestly just meant for it to be a joke between Daichi and Asahi.

They were all messing around with some old clothes had planned to throw out and somehow Suga had ended up trying some on.

Nothing intensely but definitely cute.

A dark cream toned romper that covered his arms yet had a low cut v neck that just showed off his collar bones.

A pair of white wedges and a black belt around his waist.

No he wasn’t as slim as Hinata but honestly he still rocked it.

He wasn’t all that tall but with his well defined legs, thin wrists and rounded face with soft features.

He just looked like a mature model that had Asahi on the floor, his soul leaving his body and Daichi with a tiny blood nose.

He was about to change before a sound brushed through his mind.

Craning his head slowly, he locked eyes with you in the door way.

“Heh... Hey love... how was work..?”

He was blushing but not as bad as Hinata.

Just as he was about to defend himself, your musical laugh rang through his ear and confused him.

Watching you come up and grab into his belt, pulling him closer, the small blush that graced his cheeks only grew

“L-Lemme get changed and I’ll help with dinner, then we can totally forget about this... please?”

He begged the others to erase the memory too, Asahi a bit kinder than Daichi.

After composing himself and changing, he helped you make dinner as promised and tried to ignore the subtle comments from you.

Tōru Oikawa

We all know he would work it, and proudly too.

Even with his flat ass, he still looks like a model.

He would try dressing up just to mess with you but he actually ended up liking the way it made his waist look.

You both would be on a shopping date, which he would instigate, and so whilst you were looking at clothes he would be changing.

You thought he was just trying on a shirt but when you turn to see this man come out of the changing room, your jaw with many others dropped.

He stood there, in front of the curtain of the changing room wear a full length white jumpsuit, the back completely expose aside from the straps holding it up and crossing over.

It was tight at the torso but once it got to his wiast, it flowed freely. The way he stood made it look like a gown.

The floral pattern and white shade blended well with his skin tone, the hints of mint that scattered with the other soft pastels only compliments the look further.

“So~? Whatcha think N/N-chan~? Am I still beautiful~?”

After seeing you blsuh as hard as you did though, his face started to turn red as well.

“O-On second thought, this would suit you better..!”

Only after letting a few girls take a few pictures with him posing like a proper model and the retail workers falling all over him, did he change.

After you both were both done with the store, did you notice the plastic bag he was carrying.

Scratching the back of his neck, Oikawa looked away and pouted.

“Like I said, I thought it would look better on you,”

Kenma Kozume

Babey was not ready.

Nor did he want it.

He just wanted his game back.

Yamamoto was being a dumbass and complaining about how no cute girls would ever talk to him, so he got the idea.

Now, who on the Nekoma team was small, dainty and had a cute face?

After stealing all of Kenma’s games that he had available, he forced the poor boy into the cute dress they had handy in the club room for some convenient reason?

After leaving the club room for just a minute to get Kenma’s jacket and come back to that? What are the odds.

Seeing your boyfriend standing there, blushing with the look of resentment in his eyes as Yamamoto took almost 100 pictures of the poor pudding head.

It wasn’t anything extravagant like Oikawa, no. It was better.

You know that whole trope shoujo manga anime school girl uniform? Yep, knee high socks and all.

The poor boy looked like he was about to cry when he saw you walk in.

But as soon as he was in your arms though, he was all good. No more sad kitten.

So whilst you beat the shit out of Yamamoto, mama Yaku stepped in and helped him change back.

Even though it made him embarrassed, the adorble image of Kenma wearing that uniform with tear glistened eyes was burned into your mind.

It took a bit of cuddles but eventually you were carrying the boy on your back as he played his games happily, Kuroo scolding Yamamoto non stop behind you.

“Sorry you had to see that, Y/N....”

That was all the pudding head said, keeping quiet. Then again, nothing else was needed.

After getting some gentle conformation from you, he turned off the game and nuzzled into your neck.

“If... if you ever want to see it again... I might do it. Only for you though...”

The mans is legit the captain of the pretty setter club. Go on, try to deny it.

Legit, he’s perfect.

He was thin yet built.

He had sharp features that made him look like a model.

So seeing him all dressed up for your date night had you falling in love all over again.

It wasn’t a sunflower yellow either but more so close to a gold that matched his almost silver hues.

He honestly looked like a slim goddess, as if not more pretty that Kiyoko.

After you didn’t comment your usual welcome back, he drew confused before it dawned on him again.

“Ah, right. I was with Bokuto-san and he said that I should surprise you with this, it was his lover’s dress but apparently they thought it didn’t suit them so they gave it to me to try on. I guess I forgot I had it on, let me get changed and we can do,”

He gave a small smile and was about to walk up the stairs and past you before you grabbed his wrist.

After seeing your shy eyes avoiding his but your grip not letting up on him, he got the hint.

“Are you sure? I don’t want to make you uncomfortable whilst we’re out,”

He was such a sweetheart.

But after hearing your comment on how you’d be proud to be seen with such a beautiful man, he gave the smallest blush and chuckled softly.

“Of course then, but I think that’s my line~ grab your purse and I’ll grab my wallet, we’ll walk tonight,”

Sure, he was hit on constantly but it was such a perfect night, ending with you both dancing in the moonlight.
