halo CE legendary on the original xbox got hands. I didn't realize 2001 was cool with frame drops like that on the very first level

My computer is like 8 years old and runs lethal company fine. I think it might hate hosting but the graphics are well optimized and low in the first place
that's what i was thinking, though i had someone send a few messages my way that they weren't certain my computer could run it. granted they don't really know anything about my setup (nor do i really, beyond some basic stuff).

i didnt realise how often you need to upgrade your pc hardware nowadays to play large titles... At some point i feel that the high resolution games are more just a waste of energy. Idk if i need high res horse balls or barely visible hair on ppls faces. It just doesnt feel optimal

Cryo Pod from System Shock 2
Here's a hi-res version of the Cryo Pod from System Shock 2, trying to stay pretty faithful to the original. It’s also made to the exact same scale so that it slots into the level.
It was mainly made to see how much effort re-creating assets would be for my personal SS2 project:
Regarding the model - it’s a bit high-poly for what it is, but originally I wasn’t sure if I was going to use it for pre-rendered assets. I figured I can always bake down some of those polys to the normal map later on if I need to cut it down a bit. It’s also a little bit too weathered for a brand new ship like the Von Braun, but I was hiding my inadequacies as an artist behind grime textures/normals :p
The model was created in 3ds Studio Max and textured in Substance Painter.

Oh hey 🍀Anon! Yeah, of course! I'm always open to answering your questions.
Ummmm let's see here. So I guess I would say math or like robotic science or something involved with electrical engineering. Or card tricks 101.
Oh it would totally be action/adventure. I can't decide if it would be some kind of Mario thing or if it would be like this character who is mistaken for a criminal and the FBI are after him, and the character has to team up with random other criminals and/or detectives or something to help prove his innocence or something. Roleplay action/adventure where whatever choices you make give you different outcomes. That would be neat
Resolutions *laughs* nope none. I don't do that. I never have.
