Man, it’s like, a life dream of mine to make a horror arg at some point. Some of them are genuinely so amazing, like Daisy brown or any of Alan resnick’s stuff (Alantut, Untitled footage ect.)
The amount of love and effort that go into arg’s like that, and the messages they can portray are phenomenal, the impact furthered by the audience interaction, especially with stuff like daisy brown or hiimmarymary
Y'all don't fw uncanny YouTube videos and/or webseries from the late 2000s-2010s like I FUCK WITH uncanny YouTube videos and/or webseries from the late 2000s-2010s!! I made a playlist too :0
since it's alright to bother you with questions: do you have a piece of literature/media that you wished more people knew about?
I wanna say EMH but I don't even think EMH fans get EMH and I think that's intentional. I do mean Everymanhybrid and not Earth's Mightiest Heroes, which is a common misconception. Instead I'd love if more people got into hiimmarymary, which is one of my favorite YouTube horror series ever. It's beautiful to watch (rotoscoped monsters! cool editing! pretty grading and shots!) and it's also one of the most meaningful depictions of mental illness and depression I've ever seen. I find a lot of meaning and beauty in it. I was able to participate in the latter half of it in its original ARG form, which was incredible, but as a series itself it's amazing. Big warning for suicidal ideation though if that's something anyone's sensitive to. I can give a more concrete list of trigger warnings upon request, but it is such an incredible and cathartic watch for me personally.
I've had a thought while eating a sandwich. Sorta silly I took these 3 instead since I'm looking over at IAmSophie instead today (Cause of Jamie. It's always Jamie. I love Jamie. He raised me more than my father. Thank you Jamie.)
