Its so interesting to me that iirc elq was the first to buzz in on the "how will u deal with the code monster" question in the 2nd debates, especially since hes linked to the federation but also because the sky changed when he left the debates. Y'know, this could just be projection, but I do think there is a genuine argument I could put together for Norman being Autistic or generally Neurodivergent Coded. There's just something about him that reeks of being the kind of person who instead of going "I'm human no matter what" decides that in the face of being dehumanized for his stranger traits says "Yeah, maybe I'm not human and that sounds awesome tbh."

I think it's also because he's constantly seen as spooky and mysterious by others; his laugh is unsettling and Buddy mentions Hating it. His sense of humor is strange and startling and Miss Rodriguez is very aware of this and feels the need to explain it to Buddy after he tells the poor kid Joey DIED. To me at least, it reads a little bit as Norman having just something about him that makes him unsettling and strange to others and instead of being shy or anxious abt it, he decided long ago to totally embrace it as part of himself.

He loves being strange, he's learned about this part of himself others don't like and has decided he likes it so it's staying. He's just such a laid-back, kind fellow despite his strangeness, I love him for it so much and one day I want to make an entire essay on his character. However…

With the context of Norman maybe being autistic or neurodivergent in any way, this hits really hard for me.

Norman was a nobody; people enjoyed his company sometimes, but he was strange, an outcast. Nobody would notice he was missing, if he disappeared, nobody would search.

He watched everyone, looked out for them, but nobody did the same for him.

Except for Henry.

Henry and Norman were friends, Norman holds no grudge over Henry leaving and Dot notes the kind comments Norman makes towards the animator are unusual for him. Norman doesn't disagree with her either, those two have always been implied to have an especially close bond.

Would things have been different if Henry, mysteriously the only person who seems to have had such a bond with Norman, was there? Would Sammy have picked someone else knowing Henry would notice Norman going missing?

Maybe Henry just had something about him that made the two of them understand each other, despite their very different personalities. Maybe Henry knew what it was like to be a little "different" and "strange" to his peers, in the exact way Norman was. Maybe Henry wasn't seen as spooky or mysterious for it because it manifested in different ways, or it was just assumed he was like that because he was an artist. Maybe sometimes that made him feel bad, knowing Norman really was a sweet guy and others simply wouldn't give him the chance to prove it.

Because he was weird in the "wrong way."

Then he has to swallow seeing him further dehumanized in the cycle. Not even “Norman” anymore. Now only going by “The Projectionist”. The exact name others used when talking about how Weird and Scary he was. Now it was the only name they'd call him. Now he is a monster; the mindless, terrifying, twisted form others always saw him as, with nobody who truly understood what had been lost. Except Henry, the only one who saw humanity in him...

-That Evelyn & Caleb are all that interesting lol. They practically took over the fandom (/hyperbole) when those portraits of them were showed, but I've never once found them that fun to think about. I don't know what it is that's grabbing other people and not me, but I just have zero thoughts about these people.

At least Belos is a fun character, so some fanart exploring him and Caleb's relationship is enjoyable, but other than his relation to Belos, IDC about Caleb. I care about Evelyn even less, and never cared about her being a Clawthorne either.

That Ezra Squall is in any way good or redeemable. This is a divisive opinion in the fandom itself, so not "everyone", but as it stands in the series, I am nottt on board with this yet. If that's the direction Jess wants to take the story, I trust her to do a good job with it, but from what we've been presented of Ezra so far, I don't think he is good nor will become good.

I found the split between "Ezra the boy" and "Ezra the monster" and if those lines blur pretty fun to read, and I'm curious to find out if he has any motivations for the massacre (or any of the other stuff he did) besides power hunger. If it turns out he's just been unfairly villianized, manipulated, or just misunderstood, it'd have to be really well written or I'd be disappointed lol. I simply find him more fun as a villian

Prolly weird to bring this up out of nowhere, since I don't think I've ever spoken about it on Tumblr, but I am indeed a TWD fan.

Shane is a bitch ass motherfucker and not remotely fun to watch. Every second he's on screen he's nothing but a pain in the ass. I love Rick, so whenever he and Rick are arguing (which is constantly), I just want him to SHUTTT UPPPPPP. He keeps wanting to control the group in ways I hated, and is a bit too content with killing people to meet the ends. (For example, when he shoots a guy he's out on a supply run with JUST so the zombies will stop and eat him and let Shane run away?? He could'a just shot them when he'd gotten back on the bus, but nah, he had to kill his companion and wasn't even honest about it to the rest of the group.)

Some people say Rick is like this too, but he doesn't truly get murderous until several seasons of being the leader of a survivor group in a zombie apocalypse. And whenever he gets content with killing people, it's not framed as a good thing, it's a consequence of the stress, hurt, and lack of trust that builds up in the apocalypse. Rick is at his best when he's extending a hand to other survivors. Shane didn't even make it past S2 before being okay with unnecessary killing.

(Do note that sometimes, Rick killing people is a good thing. For example, when a group of men attacked the fam and one man attempted to rape Rick's son, to which he proceeded to rip out one man's throat with his teeth. That was quite cool of him.)

People who like Shane tend to also be unfairly judgemental of Lori, in my experience. Either because she started a relationship with him while being married or because she later wanted to end that relationship.

She started a relationship with him because she believed her husband was dead. Shane was even the one who told her he was. In her eyes, she was single again. It's fine of her to have sex with any other man at this point, and to slowly start viewing him as family, even letting him get close to her son.

When her thought-to-be-dead husband waltzes up to the survivor group, very much alive, though, it's reasonable she would want to be in a relationship with her husband again. It is also reasonable that she doesn't want her apocalypse fling to be a father figure to her son when his actual father turned out to be alive. She isn't unreasonable for ending the relationship with Shane, nor for not wanting him to act as Carl's father anymore. Shane doesn't have any right to act as the father to her son.

There may be other reasons to criticise her (she died pretty early on and I haven't seen TWD in a while so IDK) but if anyone criticizes her for either of these reasons they r wrong <3

Conclusion: Shane was an infuriating character and I'm glad he died

why bard? well i think it was pretty obvious. he plays an instrument (the guitar) and bards are often the “comic relief” class even though that’s not how you have to play a bard at all. their main skill is charisma which eddie practically exudes—as shown in his interactions with other characters and in his mannerisms. i just think it suits him very very well

why college of eloquence? i’ll be honest picking his subclass was pretty difficult but i think college of eloquence suits him the best because the focus of that college is words and skills like deception and persuasion. i felt that his skills as a dm imply that he has a natural ability to formulate imagery and scenarios for his players. i liked the college features for this subclass and i thought they suited him the best

max - mastermind rogue:

why rogue? she just screams rogue she 100% would play a sneaky little deceptive shit and i love her for it

why mastermind? okay hers was the HARDEST subclass to pick bc none of the other rogue archetypes rly fit her and i didn’t think any of the other classes did either so i went with mastermind because i liked the archetype and felt the bonuses fit her character

When the Twolegs come and start uprooting the Forest, and the clans (except for Riverclan, of course) begin to starve, Pikeheart teaches Ashfur how to fish. He knows what it's like to starve, and while he and most of his clanmates are fully grown cats that can survive without food for awhile. Ferncloud's kits cannot. When he argues this to Firestar, that yes they broke one part of the code to upkeep one other part of it--"one that's more important. All cats must protect kits. We're feeding Ferncloud fish because Thunderclan's forest cannot supply food enough for her to produce milk, and thus her litter would die of starvation." They both still get tick duty for a moon, but once all of Thunderclan starts feeling the hunger pains, Pikeheart notices more and more cats joining in on his fishing lessons, and how Firestar doesn't say anything as the prey pile is mostly fish, frogs, and the odd duck. Pikeheart is careful, but his little hunting patrol is caught shortly after Thunderclan has to move camp to Sunningrocks. Of course, Leopardstar, isn't impressed. Of course, Blackclaw bringing Pikeheart, Ashfur, Shrewpaw, and Leafpaw into Riverclan's camp while Feathertail and Stormheart are being greeted by everyone....isn't ideal. Pikeheart doesn't make eye contact with his father, Blackclaw, and snorts as all of Mistyfoot's attention is on Feathertail. Riverclan's attention, of course, is instantly on the Thunderclan cats, and Leopardstar speaks after Blackclaw has had his say. "Is this true?", she asks eyeing the trout Ashfur had caught that Blackclaw had confiscated.

"It is." Pikeheart announces, seeing no point in not getting to the point. "The forest is being invaded by Twoleg monsters, surely you've noticed?" He asks in return, voice smooth. "The moors are churned up like a giant cat raked it's claws down it, Shadowclan's marsh has been drained and turned into mud. Thunderclan's trees are being devoured--same thing that happened to Fourtrees." He meows, beginning to start his case.

Leopardstar interrupts him. "Riverclan has had no trouble with Twolegs on their territory, and the river is ours. The fish is ours. The needs of the other clans are not our problem."

Pikeheart hisses, the fur along his spine standing up. "We have a queen with four kits that need to be fed. Riverclan's nursery is empty! Or would you rather add kit killer to your name like watching my own clan's apprentices fight to the death name, too?" He growls, fangs bared as riverclan cats gasp around him. "Reedpaw, Perchpaw, Primrosepaw. Three times Tigerstar pulled apprentices from that prison hole and had Shadowclan warriors fight them to the death while the rest of you sat and watched and did nothing! Then their bodies were added to the Bonehill and left to rot! You can give up a few fish for a queen and four kits, Leopardstar, Riverclan...because neither of you have atoned for what you sat and watched happen in front of your own eyes."

Leopardstar recoils back as if Pikeheart's own clawed paw had struck her, and she looks off balanced. Hawkpaw looks furious, Frogpaw indignant, and Mothpaw shocked. Pikeheart silently wonders if they know Riverclan's not so recently dark past, and snorts. Leopardstar would probably admit her faults to her kits, but would try to keep the clan in a good light. All leaders did. "W--" Leopardstar begins to speak, but Pikeheart cuts her off. "I don't want an excuse or an apology. I can't do anything with either, and it doesn't bring them back, it doesn't suddenly make it okay what you and Riverclan let happen to them. We were 9 moons old when you made that alliance with Tigerstar. Three moons into our training as warriors, and you let him put us in a fucking hole like we were nothing but rotting crowfood. We have nothing to say to each other, Leopardstar, except that Thunderclan is going to continue to fish in the river to feed our queen and her kits. They don't deserve to die because Riverclan has decided it suddenly values our traditions, way of life, and the warrior code when it suits them." He snarls, ignoring the silence from everyone as he spoke. "Until this...twoleg monster issue is over, Thunderclan will fish in the river. That's it." It flicks his tail, gathering Shrewpaw and Leafpaw before him, before nodding at Ashfur to lead the way back to their clan's new camp at Sunningrocks, head and tail held high as they left.

Undyne will do Whatever it takes to destroy the human in this au, she will not be friendly even if the run is neutral standing, she has vague memories that they’re a major threat and stops at nothing to protect the people. though I believe this makes it hard to let her guard down anywhere, she’s strong still, but with the constant code randomization it has her either at the top of her game or horribly fatigued with a high chance of being destroyed in one hit at random, so ykno she’s stuck at high alert for the safety of everyone with the slight anxiety that she can’t protect everyone. she doesn’t fear for her own life tho, she’s still selfless as hell and will still die trying to protect them all.so to sum up Undyne, still an amazing heroine and person, just… maybe more manic than one could understand, her mind is very scarred from the geno resets and that’s pretty reasonable to me haha.

so Alphys,,, with the collision of personalities in the au, she’s more… sharp, if that’s the way to put it. certainly not sane, but her mind is maybe like DeS’, she remembers and catches a lot of things happening in the world (like things resetting and the world being slightly off each time) and it uhh, it scares her a Lot, so her anxiety is DEFINITELY not gone, but she’s calmer only from the other monsters influencing her. her suicidal tendencies haven’t strayed either, what she did as you know, the amalgamations, really ruined her. it might sound ridiculous but she might think the world acting the way it is now is her fault with her experimentation with determination. you know how she injected determination into Asgore’s flowers and when she gave one of them back to him it turned into Flowey? she may not remember Flowey clearly, but because the world is so messed up, everyone, I mean EVERYONE has some sort of wacky memory that gets crazier with every reset, someone’s bound to remember the time of the true ending of a golden flower being something extremely powerful and terrifying. Alphys probably has that memory but she’s always paranoid it’s not right or it’s just some nightmare/dream she’s had, then it gets jumbled every single day so she’s constantly unsure whether or not she’s making the right call to blame herself or blame the human that she swears she’s seen many times before committing atrocities and wondering what she can do to stop it.to sum up all of Alphys, she’s here, her head hurts everyday and she feels helpless most of the time like usual, and tbh she makes me very sad :(

THE GOOD THING these two still fall in love and still hang out, Alphys is probably the only one Undyne feels safe around and the same goes for Alphys, they make each other feel comfort not found anywhere else and they don’t need the human to convince them to be together.

yes these two are in love, YES this au is built on angst and the geno/neutral runs are extremely painful for them since everytime Undyne gets got by the human it tears Alphys apart and makes me so very emo but gdhfhf THEY’LL BE HAPPY IN THE END I SWEAR TO GOD.

lots of ppl r wondering how special delivery fits into the fnaf canon and this is just our take on the clues nd how they fit into our canon nd maybe itll help explain some things at least? idk lemme infodump

olk so we see SD happening after HW—it would make sense that after making a game to try to clear their name and draw in new customers they would start some dumbass kind of service like fazbear funtime to get as much money as possible

also, since SDs canon includes the use of a smartphone theres no way this could be a past experiment. like HW, the fnaf game canon is happening in real time now

i hope we find out more abt fazbear ent inc and who runs it cause other than william theyre the biggest antagonist of the whole series fjakajdjfk BUT until we do, well say that for [insert some probably capitalistic reason here] fazinc deploys this funtime service

now—we already know from HW that fazinc is mass producing animatronics (and has been doing so for however many years now), and thats where the endless supply of animatronics come from

but how/why are rhe animatronics haunted if their AI and souls (remnant) are also in HWs game code? well, heres our personal take,

fazinc sent steel wool(?) the parts of animatronics with remnant in them to program the game which made the game haunted nd all, but remember they also took that stuff back!!!. and it seems like what theyre using it for is copy pasting animatronics for their mass moneygrab scheme

and using the original, remnant possessed AI codes as the base copy, that would therefore pass on remnant of whoever that animatronic was—past just CPUs, but some tortured soul juice as well

imagine having bits of ur soul scattered into multiples of you while the rest of it is stuck in a nightmare video game? yeah no wonder everyones so cranky!!!

but if theres remnant in the animatronics, why is it also in the air?? well it might be time to rethink what we think remnant is. we usdd to think it was metal that was possessed but it seems to go beyond this, instead remnant appears to just be life energy. it can be fused into metal and burned, but it can also visually manefest as we see happen with every spirit/phantom shown (the children appearing before william, and the phantom animatronics before michael, etc). it would make sense for residual energy following the remnant stuffed animatronics (the endos likely have such little that your phone isnt able to read it in SD)

and rwq / shadow bon???? ? handy describes the shadowy remnant to be “guarding” the light ones. this is purely going off that line and our purrsonal hcs that we feel rwq is protecting the torn up souls of the many victims of fazinc, attacking the player when they try to capture ans use the children for energy just like william and fazinc did! rwq says fuck the manipulation of life esp the ones of kids

freddy & friends make sense to be roaming around, after all being the four main characters ans most popular. balloon boy and baby also make sense considering fazinc seemed to have adopted williams failed pizzeria and his animatronics after whatever happens to it after SL. and of course elizabeth and the other kids are still desperate for closure and tired and angry. also the soul thing we mentioned before

now spreingtroip is an enigma like he always is. but theres actually evidence behind the idea of a bunch of springtrap models being mass produced—HWs “build a mangle” level showed how the company slapped together animatronics when they were reopening in leu of HW (and likely use the same method for making the SD animatronics) BECAUSE if yall remember, some parts of springtrap couls be found on the conveyor belts and on the order screens, SO

having mass produced their popular animatronics, why wouldnt springtrap also be popular in game canon? after all after the events of fnaf3 im sure fazinc would want to monetize him even more after HW. some dumbasses like those who put together fazbears fright would definitely order a springtrap. why not remake the monster using the parts they found for thrill seekers whod give them money?

purrsonallyn we like to think that the springtrap models are made with either fake guts or completely empty and each springtrap starts to rot from inside out fromm williams influence

why are WE collecting remnant?? well for starters i dont think we were supposed to. its clear from the start that once handy takes over your app its mostly not the company talking to you, but someone or something else (our guesss/hc is handy (hand / tutorial unit ). its either him or one of the other spirits telling us to collect remnant—its doubtful that fazinc would reveal that kind of info to the public when theyre secretive and would fire someone for reading the wrong email by accident
