moodboard prompt: our muses
Moodboard Prompt: 💛 by @short-king-tim, yep, once again another self-indulgent board, this time a shout-out to @sailorpleiades for all your help with their names!
After the slaughter of the Great King Atzmaveth the First, the Lands saw the remnants of his great city turn into dust. All those who could fled into the dark forest and did all they could to make themselves disappear. Arlan and Hiram, did away with the insignias on their robes and made the forest their home. There was nothing they could have done differently— and they’d live with that all their lives. Forgoing their titles and their names, they kept to themselves only seeking nearby villages with it was dire. And they would’ve lived like this for the rest of their lives, had Arlan not challenge Ant for her bow. Oh, how the Archer loved to hustle the other archers for all they had, and how could he not when the gods had blessed him with infallible accuracy. And, as much Hiram thought back to that moment, nothing could explain Arlan’s loss. He never missed. And that’s all it took for Hiram to take his axe, Arlan’s bow and swear his loyalties to a Chief who refuse to take what was due to her.

First off, Basil x Hiram is a ship that deserves more attention. Second, don’t pretend the idea of the local gay detective adopting two new husbands and a daughter isn’t a cute one.

Veronica’s Quinceanera
“A Quinceañera is the Hispanic tradition of celebrating
a young girl's coming of age - her 15th birthday. Today's celebrations embrace religious customs, and the virtues of family and social responsibility. The Quinceanera tradition celebrates the young girl and recognizes her journey from childhood to maturity.”
