Yes. Your childhood wasn't the best. For the most part your childhood was fairly simple. You got up with your sister Liegia, you both got dressed, your lusii fed you and you want to the educational block everyday. From the outside, most trolls assumed you were that one quiet kid. The little boy who'd sit in the back of his classes. That quiet, calm little boy who could never hurt a fly. Right? Well that's wrong. Horribly wrong. You were a violent little guy and no one knew why. Your hivelife was normal, your little sister loved you and the two-winged lusii that watched over you and Liegia were the best lusii you could've ever asked for. So why were you so violent? Why would you beat up other little boys and girls who tried to bully your sister? Why would you scream and get angry when trolls pushed the wrong buttons? You should've been a perfectly calm little boy. Sweet and innocent. But you weren't. You'd come home with new little scraps and bruises all over your arms and legs. You'd come back home with black eyes, busted lips and bloody noses. You did all of this because you couldn't control your anger. It was a sad thing really. You could've been so much better back then. Trolls wouldn't have feared you as much if you had just learned how to control your anger. But you're a child, you didn't entirely know how to control your emotions. But that doesn't entirely excuse you, or at least that's what you think. Everything got worse when "it" happened. You were older, but still fairly young. How old were you again? 6 sweeps [13]? Maybe a little older, you can't quite recall. You were furious for some reason, screaming and hollering at someone who dared to offend your little sister. But you picked a fight with the wrong troll. The Highblood grabbed you by the throat and slammed you against the wall. You were seeing red, the blood was rushing to your ear. Your bloodpusher beat, your sister's screaming for the troll to get off you. You didn't even notice the burning sensation in your mouth until you felt blood trickling down your chin, slowly dripping down your throat. Then it hit you. And it hit you hard. You screamed in agony and kicked your legs, slamming your foot into the Highblood's stomach. They staggered and dropped you, gripping their stomach and coughing loudly. Liegia rushed over to you, sobbing and screaming while trying to pull you to your feet. You two needed to get away. Both of you were just lowbloods... The sensation was horrible. So fucking horrible. You struggled to get to your feet and follow your sister away from the scene. Your thinkpan was fogging, your vision was blurring a little. So much blood... You could feel the warmth running down your throat. You don't remember how long it was before you to made it back to your hive. You wish you hadn't seen yourself in the window. Part of your mouth had been... Ripped right off. That fucking Highblood tore a hole in your face! Part of your mouth and a small section of your cheek was gone. And once your brain finally seemed to process all of this. You blacked out.

We received notice of the February Lowcountry Beekeepers meeting tomorrow. If you’re a beekeeper or interested in beekeeping consider membership.
