Redesign of a character I made back in high school, when I wanted to make a cartoon about marching band :P

~old 2020 versions below the cut~

I remember struggling a lot with the color scheme, if you couldn't already tell lmao.

I got originally discouraged on this project because her best friend, Daphne, was my favorite design I'd ever made, and then Pokemon came out with Drizzile who looked exactly like her (she used to be circular, too. it was bad). Also because I was 18 years old and did not know how to make a cartoon.

Random thought while waiting for the dishwasher to finish:

Ever notice that a lot of players like to give their Azem long hair? Regardless what they have on their WoL? It miiiight just be confirmation bias from mine having long hair, but still.

It'd be fun to get some like, psychological explanation as to why that happens. Do people just find long hair fitting? Feel it looks cool or that it fits the "free" theme Azem has? Or do they just like long hair and possibly want their Azem to have one since game itself has very few truly long options (like I did lol)
