IT’S HERE!!! 🥳 I’ve been waiting for this since you posted that you were part Daddy’s Home Fest. I love me some domestic fics with cutie babies 🥺 I would just like to say that this might be all over the place cause I wrote my comments on my notes as I was reading so please bear with me 😅
Right from the sneak peak you showed us, I knew their bickering was gonna be a fun ride 😂 I can’t really blame them for being mad at the other cause I see both sides and can understand each one.
I love how right after talking it out with Yoongi being told to just not park there anymore, he still calls it HIS parking spot 😂 I mean if there’s no official spots for staff, then it’s the spot of the one that parks first. So their fight over it is hilarious to me 🤣 And why does he keep ruining her clothes?!?!? I can’t really blame MC. Even I would think it’s intentional by now, but knowing it isn’t makes it funnier. He gets annoyed cause he already apologized but it’s kinda hard to accept his apology when it keeps happening. He’s pretty clumsy and unaware of his surroundings, good thing he’s cute 😂
Poor Tae, must be hard since he knows Jimin isn’t a bad guy but also wants to be loyal to his bff 😅 but I love how she doesn’t want Tae to be caught between their “fight”.
I also want a JK and Hobi to give me a basket of products frequently 😫 cause that ain’t cheap and my broke ass could only dream of having friends THAT generous 😳
MC being petty with by taking the last hazlenut coffee and taking her d*mn time to finish making it. Pure evil 😈 there goes being “cordial” 🤭 They’re both so petty, i love it 😍😂
And it’s so cute how Harin and Mc adores each other 🥺
Oh no, MC is upping her game and convinced Tae to help her scheming. And now the prank war begins and no one wants to be the first to back down 👀 Personally, I am not a fan of pranks, especially those being done to me cause I’m also petty and hold grudges 😬
Not Tae calling her out the she like him 😂 Those two just wants to rile up each other with these pranks 🥴
Ohmygod! The fake poop 😱🤢 I would seriously be mortified if I saw that on my car 😭 Harin’s reaction was adorable 🥺😂
I knew when friday the 13th and the chocolate cake was mentioned that it was Jimin’s bday cake so I was already dreading when MC took a slice of it 🫣 Good thing Jimin laughed it off but I would seriously still be dying of embarrassment in MC’s place 😭
Are Harin and Jimin’s bday the same or just really close?!? And Mama Park setting Chim up with MC 👀 Good thing cause this petty “war” needs to finally be done 😮‍💨
Koo and Yoon are having the time of their lives finding out who MC is and then Jimin and the others finding out too 🤣
Not MC daydreaming about Min right beside him during the game 😂
They’re flirting 🥴 And they finally apologized, took them long enough 🙄😂 The kiss at the end was 🤌
I really loved this story 😍 That was so good and you wrote 16k worth of it 😳 I really loved the characters you created and hopefully, you can let is see a glimpse of them in drabbles in the future. Only if you want to ofcourse. No pressure ☺️ All in all, it was written really well and I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for this and I hope you take care of yourself 💜
Ah, honestly this fic came to me so easily after i signed up so I'm glad i was able to post it :)
you took notes? I'm screaming thank you!
Tumblr media
A lot of schools I worked at as a substitute teacher or tutor (especially our office) had limited parking spots so if you didn't get there early, good luck finding a spot! once i parked, that's where i stayed until I had to leave lmao
Imagine if they're fighting over the spot, and someone else entirely uninvolved took it one day lol they'd be dumbfounded or perhaps think the other got a new car lol i can see them staking out the spot to confirm and be confused af when someone else gets out
Yoongi was trying to be the voice of reason lol but Jimin just would not listen lmao in his head, it was HIS spot lmao maybe they'll carpool after their date. And something i learned in college and later on from working in schools, always have an extra set of clothes in the car, undergarments included bc you never know when you'll have to change. Jimin was so clumsy but it wasn't his fault (okay it was) he wasn't aware of his surroundings and the pudding had a mind of its own 😂😂😂
Taehyung was in a rough spot. He tried not to get involved but he did without being fully aware of what was going on when he went to lunch but overall i think he did a good job trying to stay neutral 😂
JK and Hobi had ulterior motives for the skincare lol they figured if they did it as a friendly gesture, Jimin wouldn't suspect they wanted him looking fabulous before they suggested he start dating, so all in all, they were trying to butter him up. if he hadn't found MC then the next step was a new wardrobe
They did their best to get on each other's nerves lmao MC loves annoying Jimin, especially since he got coffee and pudding on her clothes. so any opportunity to annoy him was a win 😂
Harin absolutely ADORES mc, they get along so well, and Harin is MC's star pupil :)
I wanted the pranks to be as harmless as possible, more of an inconvenience than anything else. i HATE hurtful pranks so I went with the desktop background thing and the googly eyes and fake poop. and Jimin left his car in the lot over the weekend. he was originally going to get picked up in an uber in front of MC but Yoongi was already picking up Lila and Harin, so it made sense Jimin would get picked up too lol
Harin's reaction to the fake poop was hilarious! she's so cute! and Tae immediately realizes that MC has a crush on Jimin! he's been around for ages so he knows how she gets with a crush lol
I loved the Friday the 13th cake incident! i was so excited to write it lmao Harin's birthday is the 14th of October so they shared a birthday party and yes, MC was mortified when she realized she had cut and eaten Jimin's birthday cake. Jimin found it hilarious!
Jungkook and Yoongi were having a wonderful time laughing at Jimin's expense! everything just clicked! and mc can't help but daydream about Jimin lmao she wasn't expecting to meet Jimin's friends and her mom's friend of a friend who wanted to set her up with her son who happens to take her parking spot everyday lol the kiss was my favorite! they were supposed to kiss the second time they fell on each other but i wanted it to be a little more private.
I definitely had so much fun writing this story, i was surprised i hit 16k whoops, editing was rough, i had to do it in sections and then go back and fix a few more things. and then tumblr wouldn't let me post so i had to use my husband's computer lol bless him. i would like to write a few drabbles for them in the future, maybe of their first date and a few of them later on in the future and perhaps Halloween and their first time carpooling lol
thank you so much! i know i say this every time but i appreciate you so much 💜💜💜 take care! 💜

When Another Member Is Your Ideal Type ~ BTS Reaction
Jin:
“Was Jin the member that always caught your eye?” Namjoon asked you as you sat to the table and met the boys for the first time.
Your head shook, “he already knows that he wasn’t my type really.”
“Who was?” He then asked, “wouldn’t it be funny if it was one of us.”
“Well, it actually was,” you nervously admitted, feeling seven pairs of eyes snap around to look at you. “I actually used to say how you were my ideal type Namjoon, but since I’ve met Jin, I’ve realised that maybe ideal types aren’t really a thing after all.”
Namjoon’s eyes widened as all the other members groaned, “it’s nice to know you like me, but I hope you love our Jin a little bit more than you do me.”
“Of course, I do,” you smiled, “he already knows that you’re my kind of guy anyway. Or you were, but I’ve realised these days my ideal type just consists of someone who can make me laugh and wink constantly in my direction.
“Don’t pretend that you don’t love when I wink at you.”
Tumblr media
Yoongi:
“Look at all the fans screaming over Tae,” Yoongi remarked at you walked out of the arena and past the crowd of fans at the barriers.
Your eyes flickered across, “I used to be one of those fans, thank you.”
“For Tae?” He queried, “but what about always cheering for me?”
“I do now,” you quickly assured him, squeezing his hand gently, “but before I got to know BTS properly, I was instantly drawn to Taehyung because I noticed he had so many qualities that I looked for in a guy, so I’d always just cheer for him.”
Yoongi’s head shook back at you, “are you using me to get to Tae?” He teased, raising his eyebrows questionably back across at you. “Am I just a tool?”
“I cheer for you now,” you chuckled, pushing gently against his side, “now that I’ve got to know you and your personality, I’ve realised that Taehyung wasn’t my ideal type at all, and in fact, you ticked all of the boxes instead.”
“I can’t believe it’s always Tae who steals the girl’s hearts.”
Tumblr media
Hoseok:
“Is there a kind of guy you’re looking for?” Your date asked across the table, taking a large sip from the glass of wine in front of him.
You smiled back across at him, “do you really want to know about my type?”
“Of course,” he hummed, “I’m guessing your ideal type would be just like me.”
“Sort of,” you mused, anxious playing with your hands that rested in your lap, “see the thing is, I actually do know who you are, and whenever anyone has asked about my ideal type, I usually just tell them that it’s your member, Jungkook, he always seemed like a great guy.”
His head nodded back at you, “well, I hope at least now that you’ve had the chance to meet me, he’s now your second favourite in the group instead?”
“Definitely,” you chuckled, relieved that he had reacted in such good spirits, “at least now when people ask me, I can say your name, and who knows, if this date continued going well, I could maybe tell them a little more too.”
“I’d definitely like for you to tell them a little more too.”
Tumblr media
Namjoon:
“Was I always the member you liked when you first started working here?” Namjoon asked you one evening at a company dinner.
You frowned, “based off my ideal type, you weren’t at all.”
“Then who?” He frowned, “I bet it was Kook, it always is.”
“It wasn’t Kook,” you grinned, noticing the surprise in your face, “it was actually Jin. I always said that personality was my number one thing and meeting him and his sense of humour instantly made me feel welcomed by you and comfortable around you.”
Namjoon’s head nodded, “I’m the leader, did I not make you feel welcomed by the group? Is this your way of saying that I need to be funnier?”
“No,” you sniggered, taking a hold of his hands, “you made me feel very welcome, and as I got to know you, I realised that you were the guy that I liked the most out of the group, my ideal type definitely changed over time.”
“Good, as long as I’m your favourite now, then that’s fine.”
Tumblr media
Jimin:
“I always wanted to ask you something,” Jimin spoke up as the two of you engaged in one of your usual late-night conversations together.
Your eyes looked up to him, “what did you want to ask me?”
“When we first met,” he began, “why did you have a Yoongi banner?”
“Do you really want to know?” You asked, surprised when his head nodded back at you. “He was my bias in the group before I met any of you. I wanted to try and get him to notice me because he was the guy, I liked the most.”
Jimin’s eyes widened at your response, “he better not still be the guy that you like the most otherwise I’m going to go to his room and make sure you never see him again.”
“He’s not,” you laughed, resting your arm over him to stop him from leaving the bed, “now that I’ve got to know all of you, you’re definitely my guy. You don’t have to worry about anything, I’ll even have a banner for you at the next concert.”
“Damn right you will, everyone needs to know that you’re mine.”
Tumblr media
Taehyung:
“Did you ever have an ideal type?” Taehyung suddenly asked you as the two of you began to reflect upon the start of your relationship.
Your head nodded back at him, “I don’t think you’d want to hear it though.”
“Why?” He chuckled innocently, “how bad could it have been, was it not me?”
“Not exactly,” you whispered, shyly looking across at him, “you’re going to hate this, but my ideal type was actually a little more like Hobi. I always loved guys who just constantly loved to laugh, and I really liked his smile whenever I watched him in an interview.”
Taehyung’s head shook back at you in a moment of disbelief, “I can give you his number,” he joked, “is he still your deal type in that case?”
“Absolutely not,” you chuckled, reaching across the table to take a hold of his hand, “you’re definitely my ideal type now, I know what I really wanted in a guy now, and that’s definitely what you have, and not what Hobi has.”
“I’m never going to allow you around him ever again.”
Tumblr media
Jungkook:
“Is Jungkook the kind of guy that you usually go for?” His mother questioned you as she continued trying to get to know you.
Your head shook, smiling weakly, “I usually go for smaller guys.”
“Like Jimin,” she instantly chuckled, “wait, did you like Jimin at all?”
“I wouldn’t say I liked him,” you quickly pointed out, beginning to feel your heartbeat quicken, “but when I first met the boys, physically I was drawn to Jimin, but as I got to know Jungkook more I realised he was a lot more of my type, personality wise.”
Her head nodded, sensing how nervous you had become, “I can hardly blame you, Jimin really is such a sweetie, and he treats our Kookie well too.”
“He’s kind,” you acknowledged, “and he’s a great friend to me too, but you don’t have to worry, my heart is very much with your son. He’s taught me a lot about opening my eyes and broadening my horizons when it comes to dating too.”
“Keep loving him, and I promise that you won’t regret it.”

Happiest of tipsy birthdays to you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUNA!!!!! ahh where do i even start, i’m so grateful for you and our friendship :( you create such a safe space and radiate such love and light, you deserve everything that you put out into the world and i hope you have the best day today and every day! i love you so much, please accept my gift of a jimin drabble (that i really should just title ‘For Luna’ honestly) and millions of virtual hugs and smooches today. happy birthday @stayjimin!!!!!!!!!
genre: fluff word count: 1.7k
“Oh my god Jimin, we’re so screwed.”
Falling into the man with a cackle, you laughed even harder when he too fell over in his unsteady state, tugging you down with him onto the set of stairs as your combined giggles echoed off the walls.
Your head spun in the best way possible as you laid down on Jimin’s chest, far too gone to care about the dirt on the floor of the dorms stairway, both drunkenly collapsed from your birthday night out.
You couldn’t remember how many shots you’d taken. It was, as they say, all a blur. All you could see was Jimin on that dance floor, switching between sensual moves to downright idiocracy as he shimmied his shoulders all the wall from the bar back to your booth, offering you drink after drink with that charming smile of his.
Damn him.
With your blood alcohol level, walking seemed to be impossible. Doing stairs, even more so. You were definitely well past tipsy.
“We really are.” He sighed happily, crescent eyes making you even dizzier in your state as you stared at the man’s beautiful features.
He always got especially giggly when he was drunk, which was probably what you adored the most about him. Consistently happy when he was sober, yes. But get a shot of tequila in his system and he was giddy.
His body was soft yet firm beneath you as his arms latched around your frame, the rising and falling of his chest creating a calm within you that only he could.
“Chim,” you called, “we have to get up these stairs.” You remembered suddenly, setting your chin on his pec to look up at him as he seemed to ponder the thought.
“We could call Bang-”
With a snort, you cut him off, making the man pout as he squeezed at your side.
“What?”
“We’re not calling your manager to get our drunk asses up the stairs.” You said, bewildered at the thought as Jimin only shrugged with a grin.
You were drunk, but you weren’t that drunk.
“C’mon, I’m getting tired.” You tried to lift yourself off his body, only to falter slightly on your way up as you tried to complete the action too fast.
Jimin easily caught you in his arms even in his altered state, chuckling slightly as you gripped his bicep for support, subtly feeling up the muscle he’d built there with no shame present in your buzzed mentality.
“Hm, these are nice.” You commented as you squeezed the hard tissue again, Jimin throwing his head back in laughter at your unabashed praise.
“Thank you, dove.” He replied, the pink on his cheeks from the alcohol increasing at your words. Before you could make any other moves on his body, he began slowly guiding you to sit up with him before rising to his feet again with a grunt.
Offering his hand down to you, you missed it twice, the vodka messing with your head more than you’d like to admit as you finally gripped onto his fingers. With his opposite hand resting on the railing beside him for support, (he’d learned his lesson last time that it was hard to get up from the ground with seven shots down the hatch), he pulled you up from the ground with little to no help from your weakened body, pulling you into his side with an accomplished sigh.
Softly smiling over at you, he squeezed your hand in his, lifting them together and wordlessly throwing your arm around his shoulder.
Even though he had consumed just as much alcohol as you did, he found it much easier to level out his swaying than you, speech significantly clearer despite the lack of difference between the amounts of alcohol you’d drank.
You’d always been a lightweight.
After pointing this fact out, Jimin giggled fondly once again, making you grin over at him as you studied his face through your bleariness.
“You’re worse than Hobi-hyung.” He pointed out with a teasing nudge of his elbow, his words causing you to gasp in genuine offense as the man beside you laughed once more.
“Okay, my little leightweight. Let’s go.”
Although the next few sets were challenging, somehow you finally managed to reach the boys’ floor, both of you giggling and stumbling all the way to their front door with cheeks aflame from both your alcohol intake and intense struggle up the stairs.
Propping you up between the door frame and his shoulder, Jimin raised his other arm to pound on the door, repeating the set several times before whining when his knocks went unanswered for the umpteenth time.
“Fuck, can they not hear us?”
“I think the whole city can hear us.” You commented absentmindedly, eyes widening in pleasant surprise as Jimin leaned into you again with drunken giggles escaping his mouth. With a sigh, he reached into his jean pocket for his phone to dial what he thought to be Namjoon’s number.
With the number immediately going to voicemail, Jimin’s shoulders deflated a bit, tapping his fingers against the screen to send a message to the groupchat.
“Is it possible that they have the world’s biggest earplugs?” He huffed, banging his fist against the door again before his eyes widended when he heard the sound of shuffling from the other side.
Knocking his fist harder against the wood, Jimin determinedly kept up his actions, you leaning your head on his shoulder while chuckling at the man’s antics. You’d surely hear about this from Yoongi in the morning.
“Jimin?”
The deep voice from behind the door was immediately recognizable of Taehyung’s familiar drawl, a slight rasp in his uncertainty of who the hell was banging down the door so late - well, early - in the morning.
“Taetae! Hey!” Jimin shouted into the peephole, said man whipping the door open almost immediately to shush him, swollen eyes giving away that he’d most likely been in a deep sleep when you two had begun your ruckus outside the door.
“Shh, Jimin. People are trying to sleep.” He whispered, both you and Jimin nodding wide-eyed as you stifled grins at the parent-like scolding.
Taehyung looked over you both for a moment, sighing at the dirt from the stairs imprinted on Jimin’s black jeans. He could only imagine how you two had gotten home.
“You guys are idiots,” he shook his head, “And you should’ve called me. Come on.” He ordered, one hand cemented to the top of Jimin’s spine and the other one laid on the back of your shoulder to guide you both into the apartment.
“Is everyone sleeping?” Jimin whispered, Taehyung humming in confirmation as he led you both down the silent hallway, every single bedroom door shut snugly as the members slept behind them.
Your hand was still miraculously caught up in your boyfriends even as Tae pushed you both to the door of Jimin’s bedroom, fingers locked around each other to ground yourselves even when the world around you was spinning so intensely.
Jimin’s steps were slower than normal, as were yours due to the amount of alcohol flowing through your bloodstream, and his movements were stalled as he approached his door. Wrapping his fingers around the doorknob took concentration and extra effort, but he managed to twist the door open, almost falling flat on his face when the door gave way beneath his hold.
“Christ, Jimin.” Taehyung swore under his breath, grabbing the man underneath his bicep to pick him up to stand on his own two feet again. Jimin only breathed a chuckle in response as you bit down on your lip, Taehyung’s obvious frustration with your drunken foolishness making the situation much funnier than it’d already be.
“C’mon, guys. Keep it movin’.” Tae ushered you both in front of him, giggling all the way as you let yourselves be blindly guided by his hands.
“Tae, I’m really trusting you right now. I don’t know where the bed-” you paused suddenly as you bumped into an object with your thigh, reaching your hands out to find the plush mattress beneath your touch, “hey, that was fast.”
Taehyung couldn’t help but let out a snort at your words, shaking his head as he directed you two to the bed, pulling his eyebrows together with a whine when Jimin began audibly unzipping his jeans.
“Yah, don’t strip with me in here!”
Grunting in response, Jimin tossed his pants on the ground, meeting your eyes with a laugh as you crawled onto the bed.
“I’m not sleeping in jeans, you freak.” He mumbled, sass rolling off his tongue even in his now increasingly sleepy state, Taehyung scoffing in response yet nevertheless grabbing a blanket from the end of the bed to cover you both in.
With a directing nod of his friend’s head, Jimin collapsed onto the bed with a chuckle, you following the man as he tugged on your hand to pull your body on top of him. You both sighed in content as Taehyung threw the blanket over your bodies, the air conditioning in the room causing a brisk chill to raise bumps on your arms.
“Do you guys need water, pain meds?” Taehyung asked, pausing at the bottom of the mattress to answer any requests from the two groggy bodies in front of him.
“No, we’re great.” Jimin sang, laugh erupting out of his nose as he glanced up to view his friends thoroughly annoyed expression.
“Sorry we woke you up, Taehyungie.” He said, the pout evident in his voice as you hummed against his shirt.
“Yeah, sorry Tae.”
“Mm. Are you guys going to be okay in here if I leave you?” He asked, leaning his palms on the end of the bed as you both nodded your heads.
“We’re good. So good.” Jimin slurred, making you giggle as you leaned up to plant a kiss to his hot cheek. His eyes sparkled at your affection, squeezing you to his body with a grin.
Jokingly rolling his eyes, Taehyung stood up straight, striding over to your bedside light to flick it off with his finger.
“Alright, goodnight guys. Happy birthday, dear.” He added, you only humming in response before snuggling in to Jimin further. The sound of the door shutting was obviously softened for the other sleeping members’ benefits, Taehyung’s padding footsteps barely heard as he made his way down the hall to escape back into his own bedroom.
“Did you have a nice birthday?” Jimin whispered after a beat of silence, glazed over eyes meeting yours in the dark as you carefully lifted your head, the pounding already minorly setting in.
“I did. I had a very tipsy night.” You admitted, closing your eyes when his fingers stroked a few strands of hair back behind your ear with a fond chuckle.
“Good. You deserve it.”
Leaning up, he placed his pointer finger beneath your chin, pressing his lips to your cheek, over to the tip of your nose, your other cheek, and finally landing with a sweet peck to your lips.
“Happiest of tipsy birthdays to you.”

His members tease you/him because of hickeys
Pairings: OT7 x Reader
Genre: Fluff, crack
Request: "if requests are open, could i request a maknae line (or ot7) reaction to where the other members notice that he or you have hickeys and teases you about it? tysm you're my favorite writer"
Tumblr media
Kim Seokjin
“Wow, wha–” Jeongguk's eyes opened wide after catching a glimpse of something dark by your hips as you had been foolishly dancing around together on set. “Noona, put your hands up again” he demanded.
“What? Why?” you frowned.
“Just do it”.
Still not knowing what this was about, you complied, and that's exactly when your boyfriend's eyes fixed on you from the table, almost choking on air.
“Babe, no! Put them down!”
“Oh my God” Jeongguk's expression let both of you know it was too late already. “Now I understand why Seokjin-ie hyung has been so energetic while shooting today” he giggled like a little boy.
“Jeongguk!” Jin scolded him, and you knew, if it weren't because he couldn't move from the spot they were about to film him in, he would already be physically fighting the maknae somehow.
“I don't know what that twisted mind of yours is thinking right now, kid” you placed your hands on your waist. “I only hit my hips with my desk yesterday”.
Yoongi snorted by Jin's side at your shameless lie. “If ‘my desk’ is a metaphor for Jin hyung's lips then sure”.
Tumblr media
Min Yoongi
“You had a good nap I see?” Namjoon cocked one of his eyebrows.
“Huh?” Yoongi frowned, standing by the entrance to the living room. “Oh, yeah. Really good one” he simply said, making his way over the kitchen.
“Oof, he's thirsty” Hoseok was the one to speak up as he watched his hyung go over to the sink, “it must have been one of those naps that actually leave you more exhausted”.
“I just told you it was a good one” he pointed out, chugging his glass of water.
The two boys laughed to themselves, leaving him clueless as ever.
“Oh, we know” Hobi giggled. “Must've been a really great one if you got a hickey out of it”.
Yoongi let out a sigh at the realisation, putting his glass down as he turned his head to the side so he could shamelessly ignore his friends.
“Wow, look at him showing off his mark” Namjoon pushed it further – the way Yoongi's cheeks turned a slight pink making it even funnier for them.
“Did Y/N also get a mark out of this nap, hyung?” Hoseok teased.
A smug smirk curved up Yoongi's lips, not moving an inch as he listened to them throw comments back and forth; not wanting to deal with their bullshit yet actually taking pride in this.
Tumblr media
Jung Hoseok
“Aish, Hoseok-ah!” Seokjin threw his head back in frustration as soon as they got off the car at the airport. “You said this wouldn't happen again”.
“Huh?”
“The hickey on your neck?” Jimin smiled cheekily. “You do know a mask isn't going to cover it, right?”
Hoseok's hand instinctively went to the spot he knew you had left ‘something to remember you’ last night. “I'm wearing a turtleneck” he frowned.
“Should've worn a hoodie, bro” Namjoon patted his shoulder, standing next to him so they could start posing for the cameras waiting for them outside the airport.
“Just turn your head to the opposite side of the cameras and you should be in the clear” Tae smirked.
“Or someone just give him a scarf” Joon proposed.
“Nah, it's okay” Hoseok shrugged, dipping his hands in the pockets of his jacket. “I have a girlfriend and I'm leaving her for a whole month, anyone with two brain cells would know what happened last night anyway”.
It was too late to do anything at this point, which is why Hoseok decided to do the one thing he did best: own it.
Tumblr media
Kim Namjoon
They always say it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. In this case, that was exactly what your boyfriend had been telling you and Jimin, over and over, as you ran around the stage whilst Jin rehearsed his solo for that night and Joon watched from the seats in front.
“Jimin, ah! Shit, that hurt!” you whined after you had turned around and one of your shoulders hit his body.
Told you.
“Are you alright?!” he worried instantly, his hands going to where he thought hurt. That's when he saw a pretty visible blue mark on your collarbone. “Oh my God, I'm so sorry” he freaked out, “I didn't mean to–”
“Jimin” you laughed lightly, “it's alright”.
“No, but there's a bruise and–”
“That's a hickey, you idiot” Yoongi shook his head in amusement.
“Oh” Jimin let out breathily – his previous worried look instantly turning into a cocky one. “So it was not caused by pain, I see” he wiggled his eyebrows, making you roll your eyes.
“I'd say it's the opposite, right Y/N?” Yoongi smirked.
“Quite the opposite, in fact” Namjoon confirmed, finally arriving to your side and pulling you closer by your waist; only then the heat reaching your face.
Tumblr media
Park Jimin
“I'm here, I'm here!” Jimin said exasperatedly as he entered the car, having to sit alone on the front row since he was the last one.
“Always late, God” Jin shook his head in disappointment.
“I slept in, sorry” he apologised, clumsily searching for the seatbelt.
“You know” Yoongi spoke from behind as the car started to move, “Y/N was at the dorms this morning for some reason” Jimin tensed up, hurrying to fasten his seatbelt. “Such a shame you didn't get to see her”.
“You sure he didn't see her?” Taehyung joined in after having caught up on his hyung's intentions. “And that she has nothing to do with those poorly covered marks on his neck?” he teased, leaning forward to poke said spot repeatedly.
Jimin said nothing, instead fixing his eyes in front of him as a proud smile curved up the corners of his lips.
“No wonder he slept in” Jeongguk smirked.
“Man, I wish I had a best friend like that” Taehyung sighed in a longing way.
“Girlfriend” Jimin mumbled sheepishly, fidgeting with his hands on his lap.
All six of them shared astonished looks before they started obnoxiously cheering for their friend, only making his cheeks flush furiously. It was about time.
Tumblr media
Kim Taehyung
“Y/N!” Hoseok let you inside the dorms, walking with you to the living room where the rest of them were. “You arrived earlier”.
“Well, yeah” you shrugged, “Tae asked me to”.
“So you can help us set everything up for the party?” Namjoon asked from the sofa.
You gazed over to him before your eyes fixed on Taehyung. “I guess so” you lovingly mirrored his smile.
“Great!” Jimin went to grab your hand. “You can help me– oh my God, you got a hickey” everyone but Taehyung gasped right there, making both of you roll your eyes. “Who did that to your pure, innocent soul?”
“Fuck off, Jimin” you glared at him, “just tell me what can I help you with”.
That had seemed to make him snap back, nodding his head before he dragged you to the kitchen. The rest of the guys looked at each other with open mouths.
“That was one huge hickey” Jin looked over to his members, having Yoongi agreeing in astonishment.
“Wow” Jeongguk breathed out, “I didn't know she was seeing someone, I wonder who did it”.
“Why?” Taehyung smirked. “You want me to give you one, too?”
He laughed as everyone was frozen still, tauntingly doing his signature V sign before he stood up and walked over to wrap his arms around you from behind.
The thing was, you had never even tried to hide your relationship; his members were just too dumb to notice the pretty obvious signs.

Jeon Jeongguk
“Woah, Jeongguk-ah!” his six members exclaimed the second the maknae entered the dressing room, leaving him completely baffled.
“Noona is going to kill you” Yoongi smirked, glancing over their stylist on the other side of the room.
“What'd I do?” Jeongguk wondered.
“The question is what didn't you do with Y/N, apparently” Jin shook his head as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Jeongguk remained confused for another second until his hyungs’ eyes looked down to his neck, near his collarbone. That's when it hit him.
“Aish, I told her not to leave m–”
“Jeon Jeongguk!” he flinched at the sound of their stylist's scolding tone. “Do you have any idea of how long it's going to take me to cover all those marks?”
“No, no, don't get mad at him” Hobi interrupted as Guk was about to apologise, placing an arm over his shoulder, “Guk-ie just wanted a little love”.
Jeongguk snorted at the sound of the nickname you called him. “Noon–”
“Like this” his second attempt of an apology got cut off again, this time by Hoseok teasingly pecking his chest in a way that had Guk trying to push him off immediately as everyone else laughed.
The stylist shook her head. “Hoseok, stop imitating Y/N” she turned around to walk away; her words bringing red tint to the maknae's cheeks – especially when she teasingly added: “And Jeongguk, let's go cover those love marks of yours”.

“I love hanging out like this,” I smile, snuggling into Taehyung’s side as we lounge on our hotel bed. “I say it every time, but it is true.”
“It’s more fun when you are singing,” Hoseok makes peace signs and dances a little bit. “Or dancing, so maybe you can do one of them.”
I giggle, “You are so cute, Hobi.”
“I agree though,” Jungkook smiles. “Sing or dance.”
“Well, I’m not letting her go,” Taehyung holds me even closer. “If she does something, then it will have to be singing.”
“After the past few days,” Emily bites her bottom lip reluctantly. “She might not be up for it.”
“Another stomach bug really sucks,” Jimin pouts.
“You innocent boy,” Seokjin smiles and shakes his head.
“If only it was a stomach bug,” I grumble.
“What are you talking about?” Jungkook asks. “Amber told us it was a stomach bug.”
“I’m the leader, but I don’t want to tell them,” Namjoon sighs.
“If Amber wants, I’ll tell them,” Yoongi shrugs. “It doesn’t bother me.”
“Gah, I don’t know,” I shake my head, snuggling my face into Taehyung’s chest. “Sure, it shouldn’t be embarrassing.”
“Amber was on her period, a normal, monthly girl thing.”
“She has really bad cramps,” Taehyung adds in. “So that’s why she says it is a stomach bug.” He begins rubbing my back.
“Oh,” Jimin’s cheeks are no doubt reddening.
“Well, next time we can take care of you better,” Hoseok chuckles. “Geez silly, do you not trust us? I have a sister, so I know about that stuff.”
I pull my head away from Taehyung’s chest to look around at the boys. “No, I do trust you. I really do. Just, it’s so personal.”
“No reason to be embarrassed around us,” Seokjin tenderly smiles.
“Amber blushes so easily,” Emily giggles. “Everything embarrasses or flusters her.”
         “Not true,” I pout.
“Kind of true, little one,” Yoongi smirks. “You get flustered quite easily.”
“Whatever,” I sigh. “I’m not blushing anymore.”
“It’s cute, though,” Taehyung kisses my temple.
“I bet aegyo would make you go so red in the face,” Hoseok proceeds to look really cute, holding his face in his hands.
“Not from you,” Jimin then slightly pours, looking overly cute.
“Amateurs,” Namjoon scoffs. “That’s not even trying.”
“You have to use peace signs,” Jungkook rolls his eyes. Then he goes ahead and holds up peace signs in both his hands, acting overly cute.
“Stop,” I giggle. “This is too much,” I roll away from Taehyung.
“No blush, though,” Hoseok angrily sighs.
“Yoongi-hyung, do some aegyo so Amber blushes,” Taehyung tickles my side.
“No,” Yoongi shakes his head. “Fuck no, actually.”
“You do it for fans,” Emily points out.
         “Little one is different.”
“Then, do different aegyo,” Namjoon says.
“Here, I’ll come to you,” I stand up, walking over to Yoongi in the only chair in the room. “Go ahead, make me blush.”
         “Please, little one,” Yoongi sighs.
         “Do it, Yoongi!” Hoseok shouts.
“How come we couldn’t do it?” Jimin pouts.
“Well,” I smile. “I don’t blush that easily, but when I do, it is intense.”
“Fine, I’ll do it,” Yoongi grumbles.
         “I’m ready.”
         “Sit,” he pats the armrest.
“Sure,” I take a seat on the armrest, facing him the best I can.
Yoongi hides his face behind his hands, “You better blush.” His hands pull away to reveal his cheeks puffed out, a cute sparkle in his eyes.
“Oh,” I am caught off guard.
His hands cover his face again for a few seconds. This time when his hands pull away, his lips are pushed out.
“Duck lips,” I giggle, pushing the blush down.
Hands cover his face again, pulling them away a few seconds later to show a scrunched-up face. This time, I can feel my cheeks beginning to heat up. Yoongi smirks before hiding his face one last time. A gummy smile appears in a second, and his hands go by his jaw, wiggling his fingers.
My cheeks burst out in heat, “Whoa.”
         “He did it,” Hoseok shrieks.
         “So cute,” Taehyung giggles.
“Wow, that was crazy,” I nervously chuckle.
Yoongi relaxes his face, giving a quick finger heart. “You almost held on, little one.” He pulls me off the armrest into him. “Blushing is cute. Really cute on you.”
“I haven’t seen Amber blush so hard so fast in a long time,” Emily chuckles. “Good job, Yoongi.”
“When was the last time?” Namjoon asks.
“First time she talked about Tae,” Emily smiles. “Before then, I don’t know.”
“Taehyung means a lot to me,” I smile, snuggling into Yoongi.
“We know,” Jimin says. “You mean a lot to him.”
“You make each other so happy,” Seokjin says. “Taehyung has been waiting for someone like you to come into his life for a long time, and I bet that you were imagining a nice boy for you. He deserves to be this happy.”
“After everything he’s been through,” Jungkook says. “Yeah, he deserves it.”
“He brought two girls, two amazing girls, into our lives,” Yoongi gives me a squeeze. “Thanks for that.”
“My pleasure,” Taehyung chuckles. “I just wanted to check on a cute girl, and that lead to dating her, and now I am so happy.”
“I’m so happy to,” I push off Yoongi, but he just pulls me back down to him.
“Nope, you get to be with Tae all the time,” Yoongi says. “Let me have a few minutes.”
I giggle, “Fine, fine. I’ll stay here. Now, boys, how about we talk about something that isn’t me?”
********
“Last concert, in Mexico City, get hype,” I giggle.
“Then it is back to Korea for a week, and then back home,” Emily giggles with me.
The two of us pace around the hallway, waiting for the boys so we can wish them good luck.
“Summer is almost over, though,” I pout. “One last time, I keep telling myself, but that doesn’t mean leaving will be any better.”
“No, but returning will be all the sweeter,” Emily grabs my wrist and pulls me to a stop. “Are you excited for your birthday?”
“Of course,” I pull my wrist out of her grip and lean against the wall. “I still don’t know what we are doing, as you guys won’t tell me all the details.”
“All you need to know is you can sleep in, breakfast will be made for you, we will go out for lunch, and cake and presents will be back at the apartment.”
“That’s all I have wanted to know,” I cross my arms over my stomach. “No big surprises, though. Nothing too over the top.”
“Let me, and Nari, and the boys, handle it,” she smirks, patting my head. “We have to one up last year, and I think that with what we have planned, we can do it.”
“Just being with the boys and talking to them would one-up last year. I am just excited for being with them on my special day.”
“You can drink next year over here. Maybe getting drunk is how we one up this year.”
I laugh, “I don’t think I’ll be getting drunk the first day I can. Is the drinking age really eighteen?”
“Eh, I think so,” she shrugs. “It would make sense. We are a year older over there, kind of.”
I glance down the hall to see the boys making their way towards us. “Still, I don’t think I’ll be drinking anytime soon.”
In the next moment, all seven boys are standing with us.
“Last concert before we head back to Korea,” Hoseok is all smiles.
“This month has been amazing,” Jungkook fixes his earbuds.
“Better when you have two lovely girls tagging along,” Seokjin smiles. “Made the trip funnier.”
“You are so sweet, Jin,” I grin.
“I’m glad little one was able to come so I would have someone other than Namjoon to seriously talk to,” Yoongi squeezes my hand for a few seconds.
“That nickname is still the cutest,” Emily giggles.
“I’m gonna miss being together like this,” Jimin sighs. “I’ll enjoy the time we still have together.”
“That’s a good attitude to have, Jimin,” Namjoon pats the boy on the back. “Just enjoy these last days before the girls have to leave.”
“If only we could stop time,” Emily kisses Namjoon’s cheek.
“Tae, babe, you’ve been quiet,” I turn to face my boyfriend.
“Just taking you in,” Taehyung tenderly smiles. “Enjoying this time together, like Jimin said.”
“A hug before you go on stage then?” I hold out my arms for him.
“Or a kiss,” he grabs my wrists in his hands, holding my arms by my side. Then he connects our lips in a kiss way more heated than I expected. His tongue darting into my mouth makes my cheeks heat up.
After what feels like eternity, yet also no time passing at all, Taehyung slowly pulls our lips apart. He pecks my nose before releasing my wrists and walking away.
“Love you jagi!” Taehyung’s smirk travels with his words.
“I love you too, Tae!” I turn around to see him still walking. “Do great out there!”
“That boy likes living near the edge,” Yoongi takes a deep breath.
“He’s in love,” Seokjin says. “Just let him live.”
“Sometimes he goes so overboard,” I shake my head. “It is all that I have ever wanted, though. He makes me feel so warm and loved.”
“Still the cutest couple,” Emily nods.
“With Amber being the cuter one,” Jungkook says.
“Taehyung can be pretty cute,” Jimin says. “But Amber is cuter.”
“We need to get going!” Hoseok shouts, rushing down the hall.
“Oh shit, yeah guys,” I chuckle. “Go! Don’t get us in trouble!”
********
“It was so nice of the boys to give us some along time,” I smile, sitting cross-legged on the hotel bed.
Taehyung is sitting up, legs straight out in front of him and back against the headboard. “That was nice of them. We’ve spent this whole trip as a group, and sometimes I just want to be alone with you.”
“It’s been fun though,” I smile. “I like hanging with all the boys. They are such a great group. I’m going to miss them even more this time around. I feel like now that we are closer from being able to talk, that is what will make it harder.”
“Then why are we hanging out alone? We should be with them. You aren’t with us that much longer.”
“No, I like being with just you,” I fall back on to the bed. “Talking in Korean about whatever we want. Couples need alone time.”
Taehyung grabs my ankle, untangling my legs, and pulling me down the bed. “We do need alone time. I haven’t kissed you nearly enough.”
I giggle, “Yes you have. More than enough, but I guess I could never get tired of your kisses. The only boy who has ever given me kisses.”
“I give the best kisses,” he puckers his lips.
I push up onto my elbows, “Too far away.”
Taehyung lunges at me, tackling me to the bed. His lips attack all areas of my face, avoiding my lips.
“Tae,” I wiggles around, giggles passing through my lips every few seconds. “You are being too cute.”
“Please, keep giggling,” he chuckles along with me.
After another minute of that, Taehyung falls to my side. The two of us out of breath.
“You never kisses my lips,” I grab onto his hand.
“Just being a tease,” he squeezes my hand.
“Fine, I won’t sit next to you at dinner.”
In an instant he is hovering over me again, pressing his lips to mine.
I push him off seconds later, rolling onto my boyfriend. “I should threaten you more often it seems.”
Taehyung wraps his arms around me, kissing the top of my head this time. “What should we do now?”
         “Anything on your mind?”
         “Just you.”
“Come on Tae. Be serious for a minute.”
“I’m excited for you to meet my family. If that’s what you wanted to hear.”
“Oh yeah. We are doing that right when we get back.”
         “Are you excited?”
         “I’m feeling something.”
“Also, your birthday is almost here, so that’s pretty awesome. Growing up before my eyes.”
I slap his chest best I can. “Shut up. That makes me seem like a child. You aren’t much older than me.”
“Then you’ll be gone for a little while, but that’s okay. You will be back, and with me for a long time.”
“Living together in a cute apartment,” I close my eyes.
“Yoongi will have to Skype you as much as I do.”
         “I’ll be fine with that.”
His hands run down to rest on my butt, giving it a squeeze and making me squeal. “Tell me something that I don’t know about you.”
“Like what? I have told you so much.”
“A childhood story. I don’t know much about you as a kid.”
“Hm, okay,” I bite my bottom lip. “Okay, I think I have a good one. So when I was in elementary school, before I became really introverted, I talked to everyone. I had a lot of friends, because I was a kid and didn’t care about others opinions. On top of that, there was one girl I hated with every fiber of my being.”
         “Did you punch her?”
I chuckle, “I’m no violent, Tae. I have never hurt someone. Anyways, at the playground, I went up to her, and in the meanest words a small child has, told her how I felt.”
         “Did she cry?”
“She did. Straight up bawled from the second the tears started flowing. I have never felt so bad in my life. I turned myself into the teacher.”
         “You got yourself in trouble?”
“Kind of. The teacher had us both go inside to talk it out. Boy, did we talk.”
“So you made up, and then what?”
“I’m telling you,” I giggle. “From then on, we stuck close to one another. Such a weird way to make a friend for life.”
“Wait, that other girl was Emily. Wasn’t it?”
         “Yeah, it was.”
“That’s crazy. I always wondered how you two met and became friends. You two were meant to be friends if she got over that.”
“Tell me something about you now.”
“Only fair,” he brings a hand up into my hair. “Well, I was raised by my grandma for the first fourteen years of my life. The world outside our little village was something I knew little about, but I always wanted to go visit.”
“I can’t wait to meet her in a few days.”
“She’ll love you. As will my siblings.”
         “Don’t they already?”
“They’ll love you even more when they meet you.”
“I love you, Taehyung,” I yawn.
“Sounds like you need a nap,” he kisses the top of my head. “I love you, Amber. My princess.”
“Can you sing to me? I want to take a nap so I can be awake at dinner.”
“Sure thing, jagi. Any song in my mind?”
         “Surprise me.”
“Hm, so many songs to choose from. Ah, okay, I have a good one. Ready for my lovely voice?”
“Always,” I snuggle into him. “Always.”
********
“Pizza for our last meal in America as a group,” I smile, taking a bit of my slice of pepperoni pizza.
We found a nearby pizza place that was able to fit our large group into a booth that they have for just these kinds of situations. Most of the time it’s like for birthdays, but they don’t really care.
“It seems fitting,” Emily sips her Sprite.
“The last time we will be together will be Amber’s birthday in a few days,” Namjoon says. “That’s crazy to think about.”
“I don’t want to think about it,” Jimin pouts. “I wish the summer never had to end. Amber and Emily have made it so much more fun.”
“I agree,” Hoseok brings another piece of pizza onto his plate. “The girls bring a certain something along that just makes us all smile.”
“I’m glad we can,” I giggle. “I love seeing you all smile and be happy. That’s all I need to be happy. Well, not really, but you get the point.”
“All we want is too make you two girls happy,” Jungkook grins. “We will continue to work hard to do so.”
“Next year, it will be so good to be by your sides for the big moments,” Emily says. “Mainly award shows.”
“Ah yes,” Seokjin smiles. “We hope to win a lot of awards. We’ll see what happens.”
“I’m sure you guys will win many awards,” I grab a breadstick and place it on my plate. “I’ll be there to congratulate you when you do.”
“With kisses?” Taehyung tears a piece off my breadstick and shoves it into his mouth.
“The boyfriends better get kisses,” Namjoon chuckles. “Winning an award is a huge honor, and means we worked super hard.”
“Next year, we promise,” Emily pats Namjoon’s shoulder. “We want to go to as many away sows as possible.”
“As long as Amber is in a dress,” Yoongi grins. “Tae has shown me pictures, and you are so cute and beautiful.”
My cheeks heat up at his comment. “Oh, thank you Yoongi. That’s very nice of you. If we are allowed to go to an award show, and be by your sides, I’ll wear a dress.”
“Now I want to see Amber in a dress,” Jungkook says.
“Me too,” Jimin pushes his plate away.
“I have pictures,” Taehyung brings his phone out of his pocket. “My jagi is so beautiful when she dresses up and when she doesn’t.”
I giggle as Taehyung passes his phone over to the other maknae’s.
“Amber is beautiful,” Emily smiles. “She’s starting to really understand it now.”
“Good, it’s true,” Yoongi smiles for a few seconds.
“What did you fall in love with first, Tae? Her looks or personality?” Seokjin asks.
Taehyung wraps an arm around my waist and pulls me closer. “That’s tough, because it was a mixture of both.”
“How?” Hoseok chuckles. “One or the other first, boy. You can’t go down the middle.”
“Well, when I first saw her in the park, that’s when I developed a crush. She was cute, and her smile was amazing. As I learned more about her, that’s when I truly fell in love. That’s why I say it was a combination of both.”
“That’s cute,” Emily leans into Namjoon. “Taehyung, you are sweet.”
“Thank you,” Taehyung leans down and kisses my cheek.
“Very beautiful, Amber,” Jungkook hands Taehyung’s phone back.
“Yes,” Jimin nods. “You have to come to award shows next year and dress up like that.”
“She’ll always be by my side next year,” Taehyung places his phone back in his pocket. “That’s a promise.”
“Then, I can be with all of you all the time,” I giggle.
“Sounds perfect, little one,” Yoongi says. “We need you around.”
“As well as Emily,” Seokjin says.
“I think Amber should sing now,” Hoseok chuckles. “It’s been a while.”
“Actually, she should rap,” Jimin smirks.
“Have you been practicing, jagi?” Taehyung briefly tickles my side.
“She has,” Emily smiles. “I heard her in the shower a few days ago.”
“I’ve been helping her get better at it,” Yoongi says.
“Then you have to rap for us,” Jungkook slightly pouts.
“We are in public,” I whine. “Other people can hear me, and I would rather they not.”
“You don’t have to be loud,” Hoseok rolls his eyes.
“What can you rap?” Namjoon asks.
“Yoongi’s part of We are ‘Bulletproof,’” I look down at my lap.
“We slowed down so she could do it, but she is pretty close to the normal speed,” Yoongi just barely grins.
“Come on, Amber,” Hoseok exaggeratedly whines. “Rap for us.”
“As long as Jungkook sings his part,” I look back up.
         “Sure,” Jungkook shrugs.
“Not a hard requirement,” Seokjin giggles.
“Someone bring the karaoke version of the song up on their phone,” Emily smiles.
“On it,” Taehyung has his phone out again.
“Just take a deep breath, no reason to be embarrassed, little one,” Yoongi nudges my foot with his.
The music begins playing from Taehyung’s phone; my mind blanks for a split second. Namjoon mumbles his part as he rub his hand up and down Emily’s arm. Jungkook is a little more vocal, calming me down. Then it is my turn.
I stumble a bit at the beginning, being caught off guard from being distracted by Jungkook. Once I catch myself, I fall into the rhythm of the rap. I only mess up one more time around the middle; one part I am still working on.
The boys burst into cheers once I stop. Not a single one caring we are in public. I’m doing my best to catch my breath, and quiet the boys with Emily’s help.
Taehyung pulls me into his lap, giving me kisses all over my face. “Amazing, jagi.”
Yoongi looks so proud; his gummy smile has overtaken him. “Good job, little one.”
Emily and I eventually give up trying to quiet the boys down, and laugh along with them. Tonight was a great way to end this month trip, and I can’t believe that I got to experience something so amazing.

Meadows Part Seven (Final)
Word Count: 12k Warnings: Curse words, violence, blood, major character “death” (it is but isn’t) Genre: Finally, the ultimate angst has hit the fan. Plus some cuteness to attempt to balance it out :’) Fairy!AU Pairing: Hoseok x female reader
Summary: One hour you are waking to the sun shining brightly on your lover, the next you are awaking in a place of imminent danger. Why is the village so quiet? Why are black fairies popping out of nowhere, and why in the world is that old lady in the fairy village right now?
A/N: Y’all might wanna sit down and grab some water cause the ultimate shit is about to hit the fan. I will say, the violence probably isn’t as graphic as, say endgame (good fic, read it), but it is there nonetheless. Hold on to your horses because the finale has arrived. I hope you don’t hate me too much by the end, and I am so thankful to those who have stuck through my mess of a first fic xx

“I know, Mrs. Y/L/N, we’ve just been really busy.”
Light trickled in from a window curtain that was parted too wide for your liking, but the breeze rolling in from the open window made up for it. That soft glaze of sun that could only be found as it rises into the sky helped you know the time before you even opened your eyes wide enough to look at the clock. The voice coming from the other side of the bed comforted you, and the tone of his voice almost lulled you back to sleep. It wasn’t until you actually looked at Hoseok that you realized he was pleading for you in silence.
“Ah, Mrs. Y/L/N, it looks like your daughter is finally awake. I’ll pass the phone to her now. It was nice talking to you, yes. Yes, I know. Here she is.” Before you could register anything in your sleepy haze, Hoseok was thrusting your phone into your hand.
“Good morning sunshine, how are you?” Your mother’s voice was too loud and cheery for it to be this early in the morning, making you grumble in response.
“Mm. I’m fine, just sleeping, you know.”
“Don’t you have work this morning?” She sounded exasperated, as if she couldn’t believe you were still in bed.
“I only work in the evenings, you know.” Hoseok tried to stifle a giggle, but you, on the other hand, had already formed a thin line with your lips as you slowly became more conscious with every reply.
“I don’t, maybe I would if you and Hoseok would come home for a visit. Don’t you miss your mother?” While you rolled your eyes at her playful guilt-tripping, you realized she was right. You really hadn’t even talked to her lately, let alone seen her.
“I know mom, I’m sorry. I’ve just been so caught up with everything here. Me and Hoseok are-”
“Trying to get married in secrecy,” you laughed at the way she finished your sentence. “Seriously though, your father wants him to come over soon so that he can show Hoseok the new toy he’s working on.” You could hear the sound of your father’s voice saying “it’s not a toy” in the background and it sounded like he just woke up as well.
“I know Mom, I’ll try to make time for us to come back for a weekend or so.” A string of “yes moms” and “I know moms” came out of your mouth for the next few minutes, and miraculously you were finally able to end the phone call.
You fell back to the pillow, finding comfort in the sheets once again. Hoseok, however, was still sitting up and his eyebrows were now furrowed as if he was deep in thought. You studied his face and the way the now completely risen sun was shining directly on it. The light should have been blinding because of the way it was angled in, but deep down you knew Hoseok was made to live under the sun, if he wasn’t already made of it.
“What is it that’s making you think this hard in the morning, Hobi?”  You reached your hands to his, and he grasped it with no qualms; his face was still in contemplation as he spoke.
“What does it mean to elope with someone?”
“Hoseok,” you nearly choked from the howl of laughter that erupted from your lungs at the innocence in his eyes as he asked such a question. “Where did you get that from?”
“Well, when your phone started ringing and I answered your mom’s call since you were sleeping, she accused us of eloping together.” A small huff of air came from his mouth as if he was disappointed in something. “I didn’t know what that meant so I denied it. Should I have said yes?”
“I’m so glad you said no, Hoseok.” You pulled your hand from Hoseok’s so that both of yours could cover your face as you groaned in secondhand embarrassment at your mother. “To elope with someone means to run off to marry someone in secret.”
“Oh.” His eyes went wide, and his mouth formed a tight ‘o’ as his cheeks flushed in embarrassment. He looked really glad he said no, too.
“Come on, let’s lie in bed for a few more minutes, okay?”
Although deep in thought, he nodded at your request and shuffled forward to lie his head against your chest. He hummed in contentment and you could feel the vibrations running through your heart. You ran your hand through his hair wondering how it was possible for it to be so healthy and soft from a stream, of all things. No shampoo is a perk of being a fairy, even your own hair had grown to its peak health since your time in the village, no doubt the result of the magic running through the fruits, water, and air. It wasn’t but thirty minutes later when Hoseok began to squirm above you, disrupting your comfortable position.
“Hobi, what’s wrong?” You breathed into the top of his head, but he looked up at you when he answered.
“Y/N,” his brown eyes stared into yours so kindly and his cheeks squished in all the right ways, making you realize there was no way you could say no to whatever he was about to ask. “Can we go home today? I need to talk to Namjoon about some things.”
“Anything for you, my dearest fairy.” Despite the roll of your eyes and your audible groan, you didn’t mind that much. It was just the hike up the hill that you were dreading.
Yet, here you now were, a quarter of the way up the lower portion of the mountain, flower pot cradled in your arms once more. The bus driver finally questioned why you carried the flower back and forth multiple times a week and you didn’t have the brains to respond in time. Thankfully, Hoseok did.
“She’s a student studying plants and flowers of the sort. This is her big project.” Hoseok had grinned wide, either in pride for the lie or for you. Either way, the bus driver believed it with a grunt of his chest.
As your feet stomped up the plush grass, you couldn’t help but trail your thoughts to the contrast of the last few months. It seemed only just yesterday that this path was a winter wonderland; your footsteps being the only sign of human activity, or the dust of snow blowing off the tree tops created fond memories in your mind. Most of all, the sight of Jimin, standing in his tunic in the middle of the icy world had you giggling to yourself out of nowehere.
“What’s so funny?”
“Ah, just thinking about Jimin,” you looked at him as you talked then glanced forward again; you missed the furrow of his brows. “One time he came to greet me out here when it was snowing, and he had nothing but his tunic on!” The second visit to the memory proved to be funnier than the first and this time you were downright laughing. “I miss him, Hobi, I wish he was here so that we could figure out what’s going on.”
Hoseok only hummed in response, but you thought nothing of it. It wasn’t until you could faintly make out the landmark of the fairy door that you became aware of the weight of the flowerpot. Shifting the weight of the pot from one arm to another proved to be futile, and you couldn’t help but complain to Hoseok about it.
“Hobiii,” you whined, “why do you have to be tied to a flower of all things? Why can’t it stay as a cute little seed so that I can carry it everywhere effortlessly. I just-”
“I didn’t ask you to drag me everywhere you go,” Hoseok snapped, stopping you dead in your tracks at his raised voice and change of attitude. “I’m sure Jimin wouldn’t mind following you around like this.”
“Hobi, I-” you tried to reach out for his shoulder, but he flinched away.
“Can you stop with the nickname for one day? It makes me feel like a child!”
“Hoseok, stop! What has gotten into you? What did I do this morning to warrant this mood swing?” At this point, the two of you were standing at the border, hearts beating fast and voices silent.
“Y/N,” his eyes grew a little wider, as if he had realized how harsh he had come off. “I’m sorry I yelled at you, but I can’t stand hearing you talk about Jimin the way you do. Maybe he could cope with this better than I can, at least he can remember you.” There was an apologetic look in his eyes as he turned and entered the village without a second glance behind him.
For a moment you stood there in the sun in a foreign daze. The glistening door no longer felt welcoming, and you felt a piece of your lover’s heart fall out of your grasp. Perhaps then, this is when he realized he can’t love me again? You wanted to crumble into pieces at the thought, to run back to bed to sleep away the doubts. Yet, you opened the fairy door once more, maybe for the last time, and followed after Hoseok with a forlorn feeling already rooting itself in your heart. If not to fix things, then to at least say my goodbyes, was the reasoning you gave yourself for trailing after a person who you thought no longer wanted you.
Stepping into the village was different this time. Appearance wise, no. The stream directly in your sight still trickled slowly with the same tranquility as always; the carefully crafted treehouses still stood tall against the sky; the smell of nature still wafted into your nose with the same beautiful scent. It was quiet, however, too quiet for your liking. It wasn’t the heaviness in your heart from the conflict raging between you and Hoseok. No, it was the sound of the cracking twigs and sticks coming from behind you that made you snap back to reality.
“Taehyung, what are you-” your eyes widened in horror as your friend, his once gray hair completely black. His shimmering gray wings were coated in raven darkness. His eyes; his eyes were aimlessly black as they bore straight into your soul the closer he got.
“I’m sorry, Y/N,” was all he whispered before black dust was breathed into your lungs. As if you had been gagged with chloroform, you fell forward into the darkness of the bewitched fairy.
Jimin’s POV
The sound of footsteps and groans from the end of the dungeon is what prompted Jimin to spring awake. It was late morning, no doubt, and he hadn’t expected a visit from the queen so soon. The closer the sound of shuffling feet got to his cell, the more the all too familiar maniacal laughter filled his ears. All too soon did the black wings of the fairy he despised come into his view. On the other side of his dimly lit prison stood that mischievous grin with a glint in her eye.
“Park Jimin dear, I have a long-awaited present for you.” She opened the cell and clicked her tongue to call forward the other pair of feet towards him.
His breath caught in his voice as he saw Taehyung step into the light. For a moment he allowed himself to read the boy’s face; there was a look of all abandonment in his chocolate turned black eyes, and there was no sense of resistance in his movements. In the arms of his friend that was under the queen’s control, even more than himself, was you. Seeing you lay limply in the arms of your friend, tears threatened to fall as he gazed at your peaceful form. Flicking his eyes between the three people, his breath became shallow as his heart began to race. With a nod of her head, Taehyung placed your almost lifeless body to one side of the cell before returning to his manipulator’s side.
“Your Majesty?” As per her control, Jimin kneeled in front of her. Questioning her actions as if he didn’t know what had already come upon him.
“She seems so weak, doesn’t she?” The queen paced in front of you, eyeing you as she sneered down her nose. “Funny how a human that can cause so much strife can be so easily conquered.” Another howl of laughter. But not just one, Taehyung also joined with her. The sound of this brotherlike figure being forced into complying with the queen made his stomach lurch. “It’s time Jimin. When she awakes tonight, I expect you to kill her.”
“Of course, your Majesty.” The voice that was simultaneously his and not his answered in understanding. The evil sitting on his shoulder was leaping for joy.
“Good boy, it’ll be over soon.” She motioned for Taehyung to leave ahead of her, but she gave a sideways glare at Jimin before leaving completely. “Don’t even think about letting her escape.”
With that she was gone. After the footsteps faded from the dungeon, he rushed to your side. Jimin propped you against the wall in as comfortable of a manner as he possibly could. Stepping back in a hurry, he knew that the moment your eyes opened he would be thrown into the queen’s command to end your life. Like a wolf restraining himself during a full moon, Jimin searched for a way to give you your best chance against him. With his back pressed against the wall as far away from you as he could get, he conjured his own set of vines. For the first time, the burning rub against his ankles and wrists was a sign of hope. A sliver of hope that he can resist this.
Dampness. Everything felt damp. And moldy. So. Moldy. Your back was pressed against a wall of dirt that was surely soaking a stain into your shirt. The density of the air made you gasp for a breath as your eyes shot open to your surroundings. For a second, you sat there collecting your bearings, but you swiftly staggered to your feet as panic fueled you. The cell was small, with the faintest evening light filtering in. It was just morning, how long have I been out? Was the first question you mentally asked yourself. The next being the whereabouts of Hoseok. As your strained eyes darted around the room, they landed on the flower pot that you knew too well. A brief moment passed where a wave of relief washed over you as you made the connection to whose flower pot was in front of you. The moment ended when you heard the grunt and shuffle in the cell. In the furthest corner stood a boy pinned to the wall by tendrils of vines. His hair was black, and a trace of onyx could be seen behind him on his wings. With a head hung low, you couldn’t make out the fairy they belonged to. Another groan erupted from the stranger and his head trembled, causing a shift in his tousled hair to reveal a strip of pink.
“Jimin?” You lurched forward as you asked the question, hands reaching out for the transformed fairy. You reached a hand to unravel the vines along his arm, but a threatening growl erupted from the back of his throat.
“Y/N,” he panted as he writhed against the restraints.
“It’s okay, Jimin, I’ll get us out of here and then you can explain.” You went to work on the vines once more, loosening one just enough for Jimin to have more range with his hand. His hand automatically flew to your throat. Enough pressure to have you in fear, but not enough to kill you.
“Y/N,” he hissed again, “The Queen. I’m under her control. You need to get out of here because I can’t resist the control she has over me much longer. Get out of here before,”
“Before what?” You choked under his hand as his grip tightened just slightly.
“Before I kill you.” Was all he managed as his eyes turned black in front of you.
Your body kicked into fight or flight mode as his grip continued to tighten against your frail neck. Despite knowing that this was not your best friend, despite knowing he was still down there in his soul deep down, you had to get away from him. With an uppercut to his stomach, his grip on your throat loosened enough for you to escape his hand. As you rushed to the locked cell door, you heard him struggling even more against his restraints. A scowl had now taken residence on his face as he stared at you in anger. You easily found two minuscule sticks nearby and you attempted to pick the lock of the cell, but it was no use; fairy locks are not bedroom locks.
“Y/N, hurry!” Jimin screamed at you as his right foot broke free from the wall. His face contorted in agony and his voice became raspy. “You won’t escape human, you’re mine.”
“Help!” You screeched into the darkness of the dungeon but there was no answer. Still, you banged your fist against the iron bars, begging for someone to save you. “Someone please! He’s going to kill me!” You looked back to see that Jimin’s loosened hand had finally escaped from the wall and was furiously tugging at the other wrist.
He snarled at you again, throwing threatening shouts your way, mixed with the occasional warning. Your heart was surely going to beat out of your chest as your hand beat against the bars in a futile rhythm. Yellow came into your view and your heart thumped rapidly in gratitude at your approaching savior; that was until you realized that it too was laced with obsidian. He ran shortly past your cell and you watched in confusion until you realized that there was red hot on his tail. To your surprise, this fairy had no sign of darkness in him.
“Fuck,” Hoseok panted in front of you, eyes cast towards the direction that Namjoon had ran past, “what in the world is going on, Y/N?” His eyes, slightly purple around the edges, were filled with questions you couldn’t answer. Your heart broke at his distress, but another grunt and the snapping of a vine from behind you broke you out of your thoughts.
“Hoseok, get me out here! It’s Jimin, he’s going to kill me! The queen, your mother! This is her doing!” Hoseok backed away from your cell shaking his head in defiance.
“I know she doesn’t like you but there’s no way she-”
“Hoseok,” the true Jimin’s voice echoed past you as he pleaded with shifting eye colors, “Y/N is right your mother she’s not who she says she is. She-” another shift in features washed over Jimin as the control took over him once more and he went back to work on the last vine- “she wants the human’s pretty little head on a platter and I’m going to be the one that gets it to her.”
Hoseok went to work on the lock, using both strength and ability to break it. You could hear the mechanism groaning under the pressure of Hoseok’s strength, and in any other moment you would have found the veins in his forearms an utter turn on. Now is not the time for freaky fantasies. It was in the same moment that Hoseok finally broke the lock that Jimin had also freed himself from his restraints. With a harsh grasp on your arm, Hoseok yanked you forward through the now open cell. Jimin, however, caught your hand at the last moment and twisted it into a position of agony.
“Jimin! Please!” You cried at the sensation of being used for a game of tug-o-war, but he never relented.
There was a cracking sound, and for a moment you thought it was your wrist being broken, but no pain came to it. Instead, the pain lessened as you realized Hoseok’s fist had connected with his friend’s nose. Blood was now trickling down the blackened-pink fairy’s face and you wanted nothing more than to comfort him, but it was the insistent tugging that had you running down the dungeon’s halls in fear. As you took off in search of safety, the angry yells from the yellow fairy came back to your ears. You glanced back to see Namjoon, whose wings were, thankfully, too large to allow him the ability to fly towards you, closing in quickly anyway. As you reached the exit, Hoseok flicked his wrist upwards to call forward vines and roots of the sorts to block the open space. A howl of pain erupted from him as Namjoon’s hand got caught on the outside of the barrier.
“Y/N, hurry, we might be able to find safety in the cover of the trees once the sun is finished setting.”
As the two of you ran through the forest under the cover of the darkened trees, you barely recognized that the sun had indeed almost finished setting. How long have we been fighting for our lives? Was the only thought you were able to give as your legs continued to launch you forward despite the ache that was now forming in them. With a glance over his shoulder, Hoseok finally slowed down enough to settle at the edge of a clearing. This was not your meadow, but it almost gave the same comfort of it as you hoped you had gone far enough to not be found.
“What the fuck is going on, Y/N?” Words came out of Hoseok’s mouth in harsh gasps as his lungs burned with the desperate need for air.
“I,” you closed your eyes as your head slumped against the hard bark of the tree you were cowering next to. “I don’t know Hoseok. Taehyung, he,” a choke of pain, “his eyes were so black, they were full of evil, Hoseok. As soon as I came through the door he jumped me. The dust that he blew in my face knocked me out.”
“That piece of-” His face reddened in rage as you told him of what Taehyung had done to you, but you held your hand up to stop him.
“It’s not his fault, Hoseok. When I woke up, Jimin had fastened himself to the wall. I tried to help him, but he warned me to stay away. That he was under the control of the queen to kill me.” Fear and exhaustion came to a head as you began to cry into Hoseok’s shoulder. “Where did you go, Hoseok? Why did you leave like that?”
You couldn’t see the expression he made as you pushed your face further into him. A look of guilt and anguish washed over him as he regretted leaving your side.
“Joon was in the distance and he called me over to him, so I followed him to wherever he was leading me to.” An audible gulp, “he was normal when he finally hit the ground, but when he knew we were isolated from the town he just. He just turned.” Grabbing you and pushing you an arm’s length away he stared at you intently. “I watched as his yellow wings blackened and his eyes filled with hatred, Y/N. My mother cannot be responsible for this, she must be influenced by whatever is controlling them too. I’m sure of it.”
Despite the fact that your gut told you better, you gave the fairy a solemn nod. His eyes were so lost and begging for the truth that you couldn’t help but fall into his false piece of hope. With no danger in sight, the two of you agreed that you may be safe to rest here for a few minutes more before the next plan of action needed to be created. Perhaps in an attempt to lull you to sleep, or just to calm you down, Hoseok hummed to you in a low octave. His lips moved to form the words to the melody, and soft circles were rubbed against your back. It wasn’t until he prompted you that he would stay awake to keep watch that you finally let yourself nap off the exhaustion.
Fire. Everything was on fire; from the purple wildflowers that you loved so dearly, which in most scenarios would usually be swaying in the peaceful breeze, to the wooden works of art that decorated the treetops. Black smoke filled the summer air, and the setting sun was shrouded almost entirely. The smoke, however unfortunately, could not hinder your sense of hearing and you were confronted by shouts of fury and cries of pain from deeper into the burning field. Aching legs drove you forward into the blinding haze and the sight you found in the patch of clear air had you clasping a trembling hand to your mouth. Red wings were beating in madness at his assailant, a blackened soul with the slightest patch of pink still on his wings, and makeshift swords of tree limbs were clashing against one another. Another personal battle raged on not a few feet behind them: a fairy with striking blue wings, dressed in a tunic that was not of this world was bloodily sparring against the yellow fairy that is of this world. King Seokjin. His black hair that parted in the middle fell damply against his forehead and a squeaking laugh that was choked by smoke escaped his lips as Namjoon stumbled backwards, causing him to land painfully on his wings. The fairy that you knew of, if only by the blue wings that were as lovely as the books you read had told of, didn’t have much time for laughter as another friend of yours came into the scene; there was not as dramatic of a switch in Taehyung, but no amount of greyness could be seen in the charcoal blackness.
“Why are you doing this?” A foreign voice rang out in ironic familiarity, and your eyes were cast towards green and white.
“Why not, Jeon?” Flecks of green dotted the fairies body as he snarled in anger. It seemed as though evil was spreading through who could only be Min Yoongi as his color drained from him.
The other fairy, the one with wings of the purest white, had a bloody gash along the left side of his cheekbone. His eyes were full of determination as he warded off the other with his bare hands. Min Yoongi had a preplanned weapon, seeing as it was perfectly sharpened at the tip; no matter his movements, Jungkook dodged him effortlessly.
“Min Yoongi, this isn’t you! It’s her, the Black Dahlia!”
At the mention of the evil name from legends, a wicked laugh rang through the meadow. Hoseok’s mother, the fairy queen, flew through the hazy meadow and dissipated the last bit of smoke that was hanging in the air. The fire had made its way towards the treeline, but that was the least of your concerns as a girl came running from the direction that the queen had flown from. Your namesake had dirtied hair falling from her braid and sticking to the sweat on her face. Splotches of red soaked through her pale dress, and it wasn’t impossible that she had an injury in her leg. You hadn’t realized, but as you studied the chaos in front of you, your legs had unknowingly carried you forward. By now, you were standing not far from the still moving, still bleeding, bodies of Hoseok and Jimin. The Black Dahlia screeched out one single command that had the chaos coming to an abrupt halt.
“Kill her!”
Then like lightning, it happened. The limping human, who had by now reached Jungkook, was backing away from Min Yoongi in terror. There was no sign, no speck, of green left on his body as you watched vines of darkness spread through his wings, his hair, and his eyes. Stalking forward, he held his sharpened weapon in front of him as he towered over the human. To your horror, there was not enough time for Jungkook, nor anyone else, to react as Min Yoongi gave one final lunge and drove the stick straight into… you.
As wood splintered into your bloodstream, you blinked with horror to find Jimin standing directly in front of you. Looking over his shoulder, you saw the mirror event unfolding near Jungkook and Seokjin. Simultaneously, the two of you lifted shaking hands to the gushing wound in your abdomen. Your voice or hers, or both perhaps, drifted through the now quiet meadow in what should have been an inaudible whisper, but it rang clear as day nonetheless.
“Why?”
Jimin’s POV
“Park Jimin, what was that?” The queen’s fury caught Jimin in the middle of the dungeon’s hallway. “How did she escape? I know you weren’t able to do it yourself!”
“I’m sorry your majesty, it was your son. He came to her.” Jimin was in a bow of apologies, feeling guilty for not completing what should have been an easy task.
“Kim Namjoon, that useless fairy.” The queen’s eyes were filled with fire as she muttered to herself about Namjoon’s lack of keeping Hoseok at bay while Jimin did the dirty work. “No matter. I can still feel their presence in the village, where would they have gone?”
“They,” but he hesitated for a moment. He knew where you were to likely find safety, hidden away from everyone, but part of him said he needed to lie. “The meadow on the far north side of the village. The human spends time there.” But he didn’t.
“Find Taehyung and Namjoon and make sure every square inch of these meadows is searched.”
“Of course, your majesty.” After a closing bow, Jimin was flying down the hall to find the others.
“I want her head on a plate, Park Jimin!” The final, screeching command from the queen seemed to diminish what little piece of his humanity was left. A newfound determination filtered through Jimin’s blackened heart as he released Namjoon from his botanical entrapment. They flew off in different directions in search of you, this time with hatred in their heart.
“Y/N!” a quiet hiss vibrated through your ear as you jumped awake from the nightmare you had just endured. “Someone is coming, I don’t think we held them back long enough.” Hoseok’s hand was still clamped around your mouth, and you nodded at him with fear flowing back into your body.
Silent breaths were currently the only thing that could be heard. It was as if even the wildlife could sense the danger hanging in the air of the village. Your heads snapped to the left as the sound of a twig broken underfoot was heard in the distance. Slowly, the two of you stood up, still eyeing the direction the noise came from. Hoseok gave you a stern look, holding up a finger, then a second, and finally a third as you took the cue to run. But it was too late. Three strides in and you were already confronted by Namjoon, who looked more possessed than before. He held a vine in his hand, not long enough to be used as rope, therefore you deemed it as a weapon as you took a cautious step back. Behind you was a tree limb; picking it up, you were thankful to find that it was light, yet heavy to do damage if need be. How can I even think about hurting him? Your worry for the safety of your friends began to overpower your body’s natural will to survive, leaving you in a state of confliction.
“Namjoon, stay back, you don’t want to hurt us.” Hoseok held out a cautious hand towards him, but he only gave a sarcastic laugh in response.
“Oh yes I do.” Hoseok looked taken aback, so Namjoon only continued. “Thanks to your mother, I finally realized how much of a stain your,” he spat the words in your direction, “presence was in our world.”
“You’re lying, this isn’t my mother’s doing!” With hands threatening to pull his hair out of his head, Hoseok screamed in denial.
“But it is. This is all your fault, you know that right, human?” There was venom in his words as he stepped closer to you. “That holiday you made us partake in, those human inventions you brought with you?”
“You’re a plague to our world, Y/N. It’s time to rid ourselves of it.” Taehyung, who had appeared from the left, finished off his sentence with a malicious smile on his face, a wooden, knife-esque tool in his hand.
“Don’t even think about touching her, I’ll kill you.” Hoseok gritted his teeth as he seethed the threat, but again the pair only sneered.
After anticipating his movements during the entirety of the conversation, you were able to sidestep Namjoon’s forward lurch. While Hoseok was distracted in his attempt to wedge himself between you and Namjoon, Taehyung gave a driven thrust of his fist into Hoseok’s stomach, causing him to double-over in pain. You could only watch Hoseok so much as you had to keep your focus on the fairy that was dancing in circles with you. The vine cracked in the air and the tip made the slightest connection with your shoulder. Though you cried out as the skin tore apart, you knew it was not enough to warrant a pause to tend to it. You did, however, dodge the next blow but miscalculated your step and fell to the ground. The dirt mixed into the open wound and the burn was enough to have tears threaten your eyes; through gritted teeth, you tried to scramble away from Namjoon, only to see that he had been halted. Once again, Hoseok conjured up plants from the ground; roots had grown and come alive to wrap themselves around Namjoon’s legs. As he made an attempt to break the roots, you were given the opportunity to rush to Hoseok’s side. Blood trickled down the bridge of his nose from a cut on his forehead that was no doubt the result of Taehyung’s knife. His knuckles were white against the knife as he charged you, but into the sky he went. Hoseok gave himself the upper hand by continuing the battle in the open air, but it seemed even worse as the two used their abilities against one another.
“You should have killed me earlier,” the back of your shirt was ripped to shreds as Namjoon’s, now free, vine whip came down on you from behind, “when Hoseok had me tied down.”
“I can’t kill you Namjoon! You’re still my friend!” You tried to plead with him as if the true him was just below the surface, but he wasn’t.
“Humans really are weak beings, aren’t they?”
He shook his head in disappointment as the vine came into contact with your neck this time. As you felt the blood combined with sweat trickle down your chest, your body finally caved in. No longer in flight mode, your arms, as if moving on their own accord, lifted the tree branch that you had still been carrying around. Swinging with what was enough force, you brought it in an arc against Namjoon’s head. The thud against his skull was deafening, and as he slumped to the ground you let a sob escape your chest. You stood there for a moment and watched as his chest still rose with oxygen, before glancing up to the sky. Red sparks lit up the night sky like fireworks before they were snuffed out by the black shards. Giving one more glance to Namjoon’s still unconscious body, you ran forward to call attention to yourself.
“Taehyung!” You called to him so that Hoseok could give a chance to steady himself again. “Come and get me, you fucking asshole!”
You prayed that the taunting tone behind your words was enough to egg him on. It was. In an instant you were lying on your back with the full weight of Taehyung crushing your chest. The knife came down to make contact with your still bleeding neck, but you were able to deflect the blow and knock it out of his hand. As a second option, his hands found their way to grasp at your neck. Only a few seconds worth of a lack of oxygen burned your lungs before Hoseok had composed himself enough to tear Taehyung off you. Your legs trembled as you stood up and watched, heard, Hoseok land a punch to Taehyung’s jaw. The two were in a fit on the ground soon after and Hoseok was laying his consistent blows in all the right places.
“I said,” another hit, “don’t,” blood gushed from Taehyung’s split lip. “Fucking touch her.” One more fist landed on his nose, and both the sight and sound had you tearing Hoseok from him.
“Hoseok, enough. He’s out.”
Hoseok was breathing hard, struggled breaths fell from his mouth, his bloodied mouth. There were multiple cuts on his face and body, and the sweat dripping down from his hair had him blinking in pain. He looked to Taehyung, who was surprisingly still breathing, before glancing on Namjoon a few yards away. Hoseok clenched his teeth as he gazed at his unconscious friends. When Hoseok raised his hands, bloodied and cut raw at the knuckles, your heart ached to see him shake the way he did. A flick of his wrists called roots and plants to spring up from the earth; the tendrils of life wrapped themselves around the fairies before tightening and solidifying.
“I didn’t know fairies could do that,” you whispered to him in amazement and concern.
“I’ve never had to do that before, but yeah,” he choked as he bent forward to rest his hands on his knees, “some fairies can manipulate the flora.”
The chuckle that followed his sentence was one of disbelief, surely of the fact that he had to use it for this reason of all things. You were going to make it a point to ask him to treat not only your wounds, but his as well when the sound of wings and laughter filled the once quiet meadow. A look of shock ran over both of your faces as you realized there were still two fairies left to be dealt with. Hoseok took your hand in his once more, and again you were flying into the woods in the complete opposite direction.
“You can’t hide forever, deary!”
Her cruel voice spread like wildfire through the bristling of the forest you were running through. Despite the fact that she was nowhere in sight, you and Hoseok dodged and darted around the trees as if she was right behind you. The minutes that you couldn’t allow yourself to stop running felt like hours, and you thought that your heart was surely going to burst at the overstimulation. I’m glad games of tag with the fairies became a daily activity.
Blue? No. White? No, not white either. A color that can only be described as ethereal found its way to every single part of the clearing that Hoseok had, unknowingly, steered you towards. Like earth fallen stars, fireflies dotted the air in a trance-inducing dance. Crickets created a harmonious symphony as they laid hidden beneath blades of grass. Mushrooms of the most vibrant colors gathered in circles here and there to bring a whole new meaning to the term ‘fairy rings.’ These things must be deadly to ingest, was the lighthearted thought that fluttered through you. Flowers in shades of red, green, and purple were growing in such a way that it made you walk between them as if on a path; flowers that were singular and unique, homes to a fairy’s soul, called out to you with their silent magic. There was a calmness in the air that had the potential to erase the urgency and danger of the situation, and for a moment you let it as your eyes traveled to the breathtaking tree lying ahead of you.
Drooping leaves of the purest green fell downwards from its hundreds of branches, moving ever so slightly in the direction of the breeze. Bark that was colored in a rainbow of brown rose in triumph towards the sky, as if it knew it was possessing the entire area with its presence. Its trunk, wider than vehicles, a bus even, stood firmly in place with authority. Its roots, in all their tangled glory, weaved their way below ground, but what stole your breath away was the way they too rose to the sky. As if they were forbidden lovers with the willow tree-like leaves, some of the roots rose higher and higher to meet them, barely grazing the tips. Standing in front of what was no doubt the Mother Tree, you understood why Hoseok had said it resembled the tree of life emblem, but it was only to a point. How wrong humanity had been when replicating the beauty.
“The mother tree, isn’t it?” Your sighs of peaceful questioning did not do justice to exemplify how in awe you were.
“It is. Beautiful isn’t it?” The harsh grip on your hand loosened only to be replaced with one of love and comfort. “I didn’t even realize this is where we were running.” He murmured under his breath.
“I’m glad we came here though,” forlorn tears were already cascading down your cheeks in streams of heartbreak. “I don’t think we’re going to have the chance to come here again.”
“Stop.” His stern, yet still gentle, hands held you at arm’s length as he shook you ever so slightly to wake you from your thoughts. “We’re going to get through this Y/N.”
“How, Hoseok? Can you not feel the evil coursing through your village?” You shook under his grasp, not from fear of death itself, but from the fear of the separation that was bound to conclude the nightmare you were living in. “I’m so sorry, Hoseok. I never should have bartered for your seed that day in the marketplace. You wouldn’t be in danger, you wouldn’t have reincarnated late. You could be in love and soul-bonded with the fairy of your dreams. I’m so sor-”
“Don’t Hoseok me, dandelion.” Strong arms forced you to collide with a beaten and bruised chest that shouldn’t have been filled with so much warmth, so much love, but it was. “I could, without a doubt, care less about the struggle that has steered my life as of late. I would do it all again. I would walk to the ends of the earth, only to jump off the edge, if it meant that I could feel what I feel for you a second time.” You broke from his grasp enough to stare him in the eyes as sorrow and loved poured from them.
“Hobi,” but he continued.
“You are the wind in a peaceful meadow, you are the dandelions that cover that meadow from edge to edge. You are the meadow in which my soul truly calls home, and I will do everything I can to keep that meadow from erupting in flames.”
Your eyes searched his; you unlocked the deepest part of his soul through his deep windows and the reassurance in them had you visibly relaxing under his touch. Perhaps it was the way he held you with a touch so special, as if you were a precious stone, that formed the moment. Maybe it was the way he reassured his determination to keep this ship afloat, come high tide or low. It could’ve been the way the Mother Tree, as the epitome of love, stood behind you as a shrine of hope that made your heart rate slow to a steady rhythm. No doubt it was a strong combination of all three that had you and Hoseok being drawn together like magnets to envelop yourselves in the security of the others kiss. Lips of longing only grazed the surface of each other before the calm in the eye of the storm abruptly passed.
“Looks like I’ve finally cornered you two.”
The queen, the Black Dahlia, stepped into the clearing. She paid no mind to the fungus she crushed underfoot, or the fireflies that scattered from her presence. Her fingers twitched in anticipation and a spine-breaking chill ran through you as that evil smile formed across her face. It was Hoseok who broke the eerie silence.
“Who are you and what have you done with my Mother?” She took a step forward and you tried to step back, but Hoseok only held you in place.
“I am your mother dear, just an awakened version of her, so to say.”
“What are you-”
“The Black Dahlia. That’s who you really are, isn’t it?” Your question was broken, barely a coherent sentence but said nonetheless.
“Finally, the human says something intelligent. Yes, that is I, although it is not a name I coined myself.”
“How long have you been fooling the entire kingdom, fooling your family?” Hoseok remained stunned into silence, so it was up to you to fight for your answers.
“My entire life, my entire existence. Unlike others, I remember every life I have lived once I am awoken; the kindness I have shown was not feigned, only by the spread of jealousy and hate do I come to power.” She gazed up in contemplation before giving a flick of her hand, “two souls in one body, I suppose.”
“I don’t understand, there was no hate in our home until you showed your face.” Meek like a mouse, Hoseok spoke up though still in denial of the information that was too heavy to process.
“Oh, but there was. The moment the two of you stepped through the door upon arrival, a certain someone,” she clicked her tongue as if calling to someone else to the clearing.
And she was. A figure stepped from the shadows and your heart felt as though it had collapsed in on itself as you failed to see a trace of pink in your beloved best friend. Hair black as midnight with wings to match found itself at the queen’s side with no trace of hesitation as his demoned eyes stared into yours.
“Little Park Jimin here let a seed of jealously root itself in his heart, the moment he laid eyes on your precious human.” You had to remove your hand from Hoseok’s out of fear that he would crush it from the way that he clenched it out of fury from the queen’s words. “He was oh so willing to hide your seed from the world but fell in love with her after doing so. His jealousy of you, son, only grew as you helplessly awaited what would be a delayed reincarnation.” She cackled in insanity as she paced behind Jimin. She whispered something in his ear, causing his eyes to widen then squint in rage. “Time to eradicate the stain, Jimin.”
“No!”
But Hoseok’s cries fell on deaf ears as Jimin sprung forth in your direction. You were instinctively thrown behind him as he shielded you from Jimin’s anger. Once steady on your feet, your eyes scanned the meadow in panic for something to be used as a weapon, but there was none. Nothing in this pure meadow could ever be used for evil.
“How could you?” Hoseok cried in frustration as he dodged Jimin’s advances, “you were my best friend, Park Jimin!”
“We’re better than her, Hoseok, she’s just a human.” He snarled in response; Jimin’s punch was miscalculated and only made contact with the edge of Hoseok’s shoulder.
“How,” you moved to the right a few steps, and Jimin’s body automatically followed your movements. “How can you say that if you were in love with her this entire time!” It wasn’t meant to be a question, but a way to knock sense into Jimin’s head. It didn’t.
Questions and accusation laced with profanities and betrayal tore through the air as yet another battle raged on. The queen, hovering high above was watching on with a focused eye. She was not, however, paying the slightest attention to you. It seemed that neither was Jimin. You took a step, and then another, only to find that his command had loosened, and he was focused only on Hoseok. Sneaking to the side more and more, you were able to find not one, but two fallen tree limbs that you prayed would do damage. Like running into a fire, you ran close enough to Hoseok as you could before you called his attention.
“Hoseok! Use this!” He dodged a blow to catch the limb that you had thrown him. He swung it at Jimin’s head, but only the splintered edge left a superficial wound across his cheek. “Why don’t you kill me yourself, witch? Scared of a human?” Your taunting had the queen barreling to you in seconds, a scowl on her face.
It was a frenzy. The love of your life was fighting your best friend turned attempted murderer and you, a weak human, was fighting off an evil entity that had lived through multiple millennia. For a moment, you were standing a chance. There was not a single blow that had managed to make contact, instead you were surviving out of dodging. For a moment. Somehow, she gained the advantage, and tore the limb from your grasp. She threw it in the boys’ direction, and the sound of breaking would could only mean one thing; it has been weaponized.
Hoseok was not faring well against Jimin. What had been minor cuts with Taehyung were now deep gashes in his arm; blood soaked through his clothes and blinded his sight. Any wounds from the previous hours that had been able to close up were now opened and bursting. Jimin, on the other, although he has received his fair share, he was in much better condition. During your momentary distraction the queen was able to knock you off your feet to pin you to the ground. Her hands closed around your neck slowly, and it was only from this position that you could glance behind her. Red wings were beating in madness at his assailant, a blackened soul with the slightest patch of pink still on his wings, and makeshift swords of tree limbs were clashing against one another. The slightest patch of pink. Jimin is in there!
“What do you have against humans, huh?” Your question was hindered by the weight of her fingers, but you pressed on. “Did you think I had the ability to overtake you?” The foolishness of toying with the queen never crossed your mind as you continued assaulting her dignity. “I could have, I would have, been a better queen than you ever could have been. I would prove that to you right now if you would let me fight you.”
You had hoped she would take the bait, would let you go for a chance to redeem yourself, or to prove herself. She didn’t. A sound came from behind the two of you and it was a sound you never wanted to hear in your life; it was a blood-curdling scream from the lips of your lover. You strained your neck under the queen to see the thing that puts all other heartbreaks to shame. Your dream was wrong. It wasn’t you that Jimin killed, it was Hoseok.
Standing limply against the Mother Tree was the fairytale creature that had sprouted forth from a flower pot; the fairy that shone brighter than the sun itself during your darkest moments; the man who, despite losing his memories of you, willingly followed the quiet call of the love you shared. Against the Mother Tree was the person who you loved more than you could ever love yourself and he was dying. The tree limb you had sought to use as protection became your lover’s splintered demise as you watched in horror as it protruded from his chest. When the queen realized what Jimin had done, her banshee-like scream threatened to collapse your eardrums.
“You fool! You were to kill the human! Not my son!” Initial distraught turned to rage as she focused back on you, still at her mercy. “This is your fault!” With no other weapon at her disposal, her elongated nails became like knives as they sliced through your skin.
“Jimin!” Your cries of pain came to the only other fairy that had the chance to rescue you, and for a moment, you thought your plea was to be ignored. “She’s going to kill me!” It wasn’t.
As the arms you were using to shield your face became raw and coated with blood, you saw something in the fairy snap. Eyes that were once black melted to their original warmth, and that spot of pink you saw earlier grew larger, slowly but surely. He looked back to Hoseok, now sitting in agony against the tree, who motioned for him to do something. Perhaps Jimin himself didn’t know what had come over him, nor did he know why he was soon sending the queen flying off of you. But he was.
“You think you can defy me?” The queen cackled as she tried to break from his grasp, but it was no use, Jimin was too strong. “Min Yoongi couldn’t turn from my control, what makes you think you can?”
“Because I,” Jimin furiously shook his head, black and pink waging a war across his body as his soul tried to find its will. “I have people.” Despair was no longer the look in his eyes, only determination as he used his hands to take hold of the queen’s black wings with all the strength he could muster. “I have people who need me.”
As if they were paper, the queen’s onyx wings were torn from her body. A cry so loud it could stop time came from her mouth as the wings left her body, turning from black to orange as they shrunk to nothingness. As they faded into oblivion, so did she. Black and orange dust rained to the dirt as a single, lonesome seed fell in her place. Shock hung in the air as you made eye contact with Jimin who, completely pink, held up his hands in horror at the blood coating them. The sharp stings you felt in your body were no match for the adrenaline pumping through your veins as you swiftly ran to Hoseok’s side.
“Hoseok, please stay with us, we’ll get fairies to help you! Jimin, go!” You pushed back the hair on his paling forehead, being careful not to touch the open wounds.
“No Jimin, don’t.” Hoseok weakly grasped the younger’s wrist to hold him in place, “please stay.”
“Prince Hoseok I have to find someone to help you.” Jimin tried to protest but Hoseok refused to let him leave his side. “I’m sorry, I’m so fucking sorry.” Apologies mixed with sobs of regret soon stormed through Jimin’s body.
“I forgive you,” was the whisper of love that fell from his lips, “Y/N is betrayal worthy.” He laughed, or tried to, at his tactless joke, but his chest spasmed slightly at the attempt and a trail of blood fell from his mouth with a cough. “Y/N, sing to me.”
“What?” The simple request baffled you.
“Sing to me, I don’t think I’ve heard you sing. Please, a dying man’s final wish if you will.”
You wanted to smack him for his careless remark, but instead you agreed despite the tears that were clogging your throat. There was no song worthy to be sung at a time like this; no song held enough weight to have power behind it. You thought about all the melodies you loved, and they all came up short. You thought of the dreams of that meadow you’ve had so many times; the lullaby of the wind came to you, as did the passionate sound of lightning cracking against a rock. The rock, the poem!
“Hoseok, I wrote you a poem while I waited for you. Would you like to hear me sing that?” He closed his eyes briefly before reopening them and smiling with a nod.
Eternal beauty, eternal grace, with you I find my place.
A tad bit offkey, you let the collection of letters ring out. Memories of Hosoek came to you, both of your first time together, and now the second. You thought about the love that flowed so clearly between the two of you. Raising your voice, you sang the next part with a smile on your face and you placed every ounce of love for him behind the words.
Sky of blue, field of yellow,
The Mother Tree began to shake and rustle with no prompting from the wind, the glow it emitted was now tinted red. At first, you were worried there was a new danger arising, but something in you nudged you to keep singing.
I run to you
The red glow became more vibrant as it trickled down like a waterfall down to Hoseok. Jimin was unmoving, frozen to the spot in awe. Hoseok was crying, soft tears fell from closed eyelids as if something was happening that you knew nothing about.
My golden meadow.
As if following a cue, the red aura soaked Hoseok to the core. For the briefest second, his breath stopped, and you wanted to panic. When he reopened his eyes, there was a newfound life in them. He was not healed, he was still dangerously bleeding. Yet, whatever he just experienced as you sang to him had given him cause to hold on just a tad bit longer.
“Y/N, love,” his original petname helped your heart find its beat again as he looked at you with a fondness you hadn’t seen in almost half a year. “I remember.”
“You what?”
“I said, I remember. I remember the dandelions, your parents, the night we made love in the meadow,” heat rose to your cheeks instantly at the mention of the act in front of Jimin. He didn’t look embarrassed, but out of place. “I remember the first time I kissed you and the ring that I gave you. I’m happy to see you still wearing it.”
“Oh Hobi, of course I am.” You would have flung your arms around him in joy at the sudden recollection of his memories, yet you remained in your spot. Allowing your tears of sorrow to be mixed with tears of joy was the only way to safely process what was happening.
“Soul-bond with me.” You looked down at him to laugh at his joke, but his face was devoid of humor. “I mean it, say the words. Be mine, if only for a while longer.”
“Hoseok, don’t say it like that.”
“Please, Y/N, if you’ll have me, let me be yours in soul.”
“I’ll never not want to have you, Hoseok.” You knew that even if you weren’t in the situation you were in, you would have said yes just as willingly. “What do I need to say?”
“Ask for her permission to begin the ceremony,” Jimin’s timid voice had come from behind you with words of advice before he sauntered away to sit at the edge of the clearing, away from the scene.
“Hoseok, what if she doesn’t deem us worthy? What will happen to you?”
“I don’t know, but I’ll tell her to get lost if she tries to separate a dying man from his love.”
“Mother Tree,” you began, ignoring the dying man comment to proceed, “I love Hoseok with all that I am, may we please begin to soul bond?”
You felt silly speaking to a tree, but the ethereal aura that lingered became brighter as you finished the question. Burning into the tree was a short line of words, some for you, and some for Hosoek. You looked at Hoseok who had to twist his head awkwardly to the side to read them. You gave his hand a squeeze and nodded him to begin.
“As long as the wind still blows, and the sun still rises, my heart will be yours.” His voice was soft.
“From this life until the next, my heart will be yours.” And yours was strong.
You looked at Hoseok with skeptical eyes and he just stared at you, as if he was telling you something with his eyes. There was nothing in that moment that you wanted to do more than kiss him one last time. So, you did. A gentle hand came to your side as you leaned over his disgruntled body. With teary smiles, you leaned into his touch and let your lips mold into one pair.
That’s when it hit you.
As if a storm had suddenly been conjured to the area, the tree blew back and forth under the pressure of the newfound wind. The once white glow turned red, then orange, then yellow, as it made its way through the colors of the rainbow. Dotting across your shoulder was an intense tingling sensation. Not necessarily pleasant, but not hurtful either. As you watched Hosoek grimace and try to clutch his legs to no avail, you realized he felt a similar sensation. The feeling lasted until the winds died down and everything was still once more. It stung the wounds on your neck to strain it to look at your shoulder, but you knew you had to see what had appeared on your skin. Painted across your shoulder and slightly down the right side of your chest was yellow; yellow dandelions danced their way to form the beautiful confirmation of the exact moment that Hoseok fell in love with you. Hoseok’s eyes, who had swelled with tears, looked at your shoulder fondly.
“I knew that was when I realized what you meant to me.” Hoseok prompted you to look at his marking as well, seeing as he couldn’t move enough to do it himself.
You lifted up his tunic, gasping in delight to see the mark. Although only one could be seen, you knew there was a trail of them too: Yellow dandelions scattered across the back of his thighs in remembrance of his first contact with you.
“Dandelions Hoseok, dandelions. No wonder that’s all you could remember.” You giggled at the new images lining your body, and for a moment the situation at hand had been forgotten.
“Love from the soul conquers memories any day dear.” A familiar voice was directed to you, and your head snapped up to find its owner, but she was nowhere to be found. It sounded like it belonged to the tree, and perhaps it did.
“You!” A breath of relief as that mysterious old lady came into view, hobbling her way like a ghost through the tree.
“Me, dear. I’m sorry to see you again in a situation like this.” She hung her head in shame as she looked at Hoseok’s confused face.
“Why, I mean how, are you here?” You waited a moment to let her answer, but you were too quick with another question. “Who are you?”
“I am the fates, the tree, the essence of the fairies. I am whatever you wish for me to be, Y/N.”
“Why did you steal Hoseok’s seed and barter with me for it? Why would you disrupt his way of life?”
“It may be part of your fate to choose part of your own path, but there are some things that are forever written in stone. Like the bond of two souls that dates back for centuries.”
“Jungkook and Y/M/N.” It wasn’t a question, just a confirming statement.
“Your bond has been reawakened and I grant you two the love of another lifetime together.” Her soft smile began to fade and once more she was one with the Mother Tree, leaving as quickly as she had came.
“Hoseok, that was her! That was the old lady!” No response came, “Hoseok? Hoseok!” During your conversation, Hosoek had slipped from consciousness and you could tell his body was barely hanging onto life. His fingertips had even begun to fade, towards death or years in seedhood, you weren’t sure. “Jimin! Help!”
Jimin came to your calls and began to panic as well. As if a lightbulb came on in his mind, he flapped his wings to disperse pink dust over his friend. With hopes of recovery, you watched as it settled on top of Hoseok, never breaking the surface. Again, he tried to heal him, but nothing happened.
“This isn’t working! Why isn’t this working!” Jimin slammed his fist into the ground in frustration at his failure to revive his friend. “I’ll do anything, please! Just let me help him!” You weren’t sure who Jimin was crying towards, but it wasn’t long before you found out.
Three apparitions came to life before you: Appearing by Hoseok’s side was the fairy king who defied the rules. His face had flaws like in your dream, and his wings were just as white, if not snowier in person. Jungkook. Next to Jimin was the fairy that Jungkook had fought in your nightmare. Green hair fell into his face as he stared down at the pink fairy in guilt. Min Yoongi. Behind you came the lightest touch on your soul-mark. You glanced up to see your namesake towering over you. Her hair was braided to perfection, and blood was absent from her pale dress. The three of them looked at one another solemnly, then to the three of you. Their mouths opened and moved, but no noises could be heard from. Turning to Min Yoongi, the two of them talked once more, and the green fairy nodded his head in reluctance. He crouched down to be face to face with Jimin; Min Yoongi’s hand rested against his back in what was no doubt a comforting action. He was speaking, but you couldn’t hear. You frantically looked to Hoseok to find, to your relief, that he was still breathing. Jimin’s eyes were wide and tears were building in his eyes, yet he nodded his head to whatever the apparition was saying to him.
“It’s going to be okay Y/N.” Your namesake’s voice felt like the calming ocean as it came to you.
“Bonds like ours do not fade, not through time nor death.” Jungkook’s voice was deep, it vibrated through you in equal reassurance.
Min Yoongi stood from a crying Jimin, who shortly stood to his feet afterwards. The three late fairies spoke once more in silence before they began to blink out of sight. First Jungkook, then Y/M/N, and lastly Min Yoongi. He gave you a soft smile and his disappearing looking of regret and apologetics was replaced with Jimin’s own.
“What did they just say to you?”
“They told me what I needed to do to help Hoseok.” Jimin came to stand in front of you and grasped your hands in his.
“Which is?”
“An eye for an eye, a soul for a soul.”
“Jimin,” you tore your hands from his grasp as you realized what he was implying. “No!” There must be other fairies to help you, you can’t disappear into a seed for ten years to save him!”
“Y/N,” Jimin simply smiled. “This is my chance of redemption. Not just for my wrongdoings against you, but for Min Yoongi’s as well. We share the same soul, he and I, and I think it’s time for atonement.”
“Oh Jiminie,” you flung yourself into the arms of the best friend you knew and loved, thankful that his evil self was long gone. “Are you sure there’s no other way?”
“There isn’t. I’m so sorry, Y/N. For all the pain I’ve caused you and Hoseok. I need to do this to earn your forgiveness for my carelessness.”
“I would forgive you even if you didn’t have to do this, Jimin. I know your soul is good in there.”
He muttered a thank you and grabbed your hand once more. Reaching down, he abruptly pulled the broken limb from Hoseok’s chest. Blood that had clotted now flowed out, and a groan of agony escaped his lips. You covered your mouth with your free hand as the sight before you unfolded.
“Goodbye, Y/N.”
Two words were all Jimin could manage as he focused every ounce of his energy on his dying friend. This time, as he flapped his wings, the pink dust soaked Hoseok to the core. Small cuts began to heal instantly. As seconds passed with the strong gusts of Jimin’s wings, Hoseok began to heal little by little. When a wound on Hoseok’s body closed up, Jimin’s own body began to fade from sight. Finally, all that was left to heal was the hole in your lover’s chest. Jimin gave one last dissipating smile as his wings beat for the last time; the final shower of pink cascaded down painstakingly slow, and you watched in heartbroken amazement as it closed itself up.
Jimin’s seed fell and rolled to the ground, and you picked it up with a passion. You let your hand envelop the magical seed, and you clutched it close to your heart. Your body was wrecked with sobs as you said your silent goodbyes to the wayward fairy that had finally found his path. You glanced upwards to find that the white aura had taken on a pinkish hue, as if the old spirit was commending him for his sacrifice.
“Y/N, why are you crying? Where is Jimin?” A deep voice, clear as day, came from the ground below you, and in an instant, you were crouched by his side; your arms finally found their way around his neck.
“Oh Hoseok, you’re really okay!” His arms snaked around your waist as he pulled you tighter into him.
“I am.” You helped him stand, only to find that you were having more trouble doing so than he was. “Y/N, where is Jimin?” He repeated the question again, and you didn’t know how to answer it the second time.
“He saved you,” you held the seed in the palm of your hand as you showed him the proof. Hoseok took it between his index finger and thumb to examine it.
“That bastard,” at first you thought he was angry but then he erupted in laughter. “I can’t believe he had the nerve to one up me on the good deeds competition we’ve had going on since we were children! How can I come back from this?” You were completely baffled by Hoseok’s unconventional ability to make the darkest of moments bright.
“Hoseok.” You stopped him in his tracks as the two of you made it to the edge of the clearing you had begun walking towards. You looked at him in earnest, and for a moment you couldn’t remember what you wanted to say.
“I love you, Y/N.” But he said it for you. “I didn’t think I could love you more than I already did, but the moment our souls became one, I knew I had been wrong.” He cupped your face with gentle love. “You are my life, my meadow, my dandelion. I love you, my brave human, from this life until the next.”
“And I love you, my exotic fairy, from this life until the next.”
The kiss that transpired next was one that contained a feeling you had never felt before. The connection of your entwined souls coursed through your veins in giddy pleasure.  Only true and innocent yearning for other through electrifying lips. For a moment you stood there; forgotten and burning wounds were turned into faint tingles. Your heart settled as you became confident that the fairies of yellow, gray, and even pink would be okay. Visions of sunny days flooded the back of your mind, and the feeling of calmness called to you. As you melted into the person who had been your predetermined soulmate, you thanked the fates for incorrect coin tosses, dandelions, and the meadows of your destiny.

Tumblr media
Pairing: Yoongi X Reader
Summary: After a lot of convincing, you spend the night at the dorm with all the boys and let’s just say their Agust D is a little different from your Yoongles.
Parts: One
Genre: Fluff, kinda crack
Warnings: Tiny innuendo is used; barely there, you’ll need a magnifying glass to see it
Notes: I had too much fun writing this // sorry for making the maknae line seem like brats // kinda old
All in all, it was Hoseok who was to take full credit for the relationship that had blossomed between you and Yoongi. You had been friends with him from the moment he moved into your neighbourhood at the tender age of 7. You had been inseparable from the word go, growing up rather close. So when he joined BTS, you were the first to know, the first to congratulate and the first to shed a few tears of shear pride. He admitted that the day he debuted was the softest he'd seen you. But now that had changed.
Equally, Hoseok and Yoongi hit it off the bat and you begun spending time with both of them, comfortable with Hoseok's sense of home and the new and unexplored grounds that were Min Yoongi. That ended quite quickly, however, and in no time flat, you knew everything about each other.
It took a while, but you eventually started dating without any of the members finding out, save Hoseok, who was told as soon as it happened. Which worked well for sometime, until your visits at the dorm began to stretch and one day, when the members had planned a movie and full night out - leaving you and Yoongi with your own movie and full night IN -, you had fell asleep together on the couch, in a position too affectionate to call it anything other than couple-like.
The penny dropped when the door was unlocked. A very drunk Tae had made no effort being quiet, stumbling in first, quickly followed by the maknae and Jimin, egging him on equally, if not louder, than the drunk male only to be hushed by Seokjin who was scowling heavily at their hyped up behaviour at such late hours. Namjoon was also drunk but was being guided inside the dorm by Hobi while giving him a very detailed description of his theory as to what was the meaning of life.
Being closed off in the living room meant neither of you had heard the ruckus, so neither of you had reacted quickly enough to the attack and all 6 members walked in on your prematurely ended date night.
Taehyung had actually screamed at the sight, making you jump and wake Yoongi up in the process. You were almost certain you had seen Jungkook and Jimin hold their breath when Yoongi was awaken but dropped their jaws when he only blinked in response.
Namjoon started uncontrollably laughing at the tense atmosphere and Hoseok left the room, done with babysitting for the night - and with all the members.
Yoongi didn't get teased about it- no one would dare try it. That being said, no one would try you either, except maybe Hoseok but that was because he had grown accustomed to your empty threats and laughed them off.
So that was bound to be it, right? Everyone assumed - or knew - that when you two were on your own, affection was a must. Although, it was pretty prominent in public, too. You were with the band quite often. Movie nights were a weekly event and celebration dinners were a certified invitation. The casual arm-around-shoulder or the holding of hands and maybe even a stray or peck when there was less attention on you.
Today was a celebration dinner, provided by Seokjin and in the dorm that was to be followed by "a sleepover" that was arranged by the maknaes. You were gonna let them down easy and make up some excuse as to why you couldn't attend. But, across the room, you saw a certain male raising an eyebrow. To anyone outside looking in, it would look he was questioning if the group would be receiving your presence, but you could see his eyes pleading with yours. Clearly, he was having similar thoughts, except he had to attend. You caved rather quickly, almost as soon as his irises began begging with yours.
In preparation for this, Seokjin had demanded that everyone assisted him in the tedious task that was shopping. You wondered what was going through his head when he dragged all eight of you the convenience store closest to the dorm. He claimed he needed "help".
He had lead the way and handed out orders surprisingly well, but it wasn't enough. Having them all in one public place was loud; it wasn't long before everyone in the store had stolen a glance at the oversized group that consisted of a determined Seokjin, a stressed out Namjoon along, 3 child-like adults that were receiving rather dangerous glares from Hoseok and then Yoongi, who had his arm snaked around your waist, bringing up the rear.
Your mind had been wandering when your eyes caught on a brightly coloured animal in the corner. Furrowing your eyebrows, you tugged at Yoongi's sleeve to cease his movements and to pull him along with you to get a closer look.
It was a bright orange tiger onesie with striking black stripes, a tail and complete with a hoodie that sported the same stripes and little ears. It was so soft you would have mistaken it for a cloud and it was undeniably adorable. You reached out to grab it and held it in your arms before looking up at Yoongi, half expecting a cringe and half expecting laughter. There wasn't laughter, but there was, however a cute smile that melted you from the inside.
"Babe, I'm getting it," you stated and began checking the price tag. "Hey, hey!" He protested, waving his hands around. You turned to face him with an eyebrow raised. "You forgetting anything?" Confusion painted your face as you stared at him blankly. "Me. I want one too" he mimicked your tone and started digging around.
You peeked over his shoulder but he actively blocked everything from your sight. "Ah-ha!" He grinned and pulled out the onesie with a flourish. It was dark green but still extremely vivid. It had soft red bumps decorating the back and the hood also sported the scarlet bumps, making it very clear that it was-
"A dinosaur. What do you think, Jagi?"
"I think we're getting these;  like right now,"you yanked him towards the cashier, retrieving a bag so that the others wouldn't see what they had bought.
Just as you were about to finish the payment, a strained "Yoongi-hyung!" rang through the store, and it sounded an awful lot like Jimin. He groaned under his breath but followed the source nonetheless. Turning a corner, there he was, desperately trying to stop the bubblegum machine that wouldn't stop vomiting the colourful dots of candy that trickled to the floor and behind product shelves. ------------------------- "I- I barely touched it!" He had defended when they were all reaching the dorm once again. Namjoon rolled his eyes but didn't comment whereas Seokjin started ranting about it for the third time today. So the shopping trip had been a flop; but you and Yoongi were still pretty content with the outcome.
All in all, Seokjin still had the groceries he intended to obtain to satisfy the needs of the group and began working on it right away. The others where in the living room, debating over what film to watch and what games to play. You could see that get ridiculously heated ridiculously soon.
They soon disbanded and changed into lazy, comfortable clothes, leaving the living room one by one, coming back with no make up and mostly baggy outfits.
You two had been sitting on the couch, pulled close with your legs over his thighs, back leaning against the armrest. He nudged you and jerked his head in the direction of his room to change. You nodded and moved to get up, both of you slipping out, unfortunately noticed. You heard giggling from the living room and rolled your eyes.
You both rapidly changed. You turned to face him, huge smile upon your features. He laughed at the sight. "You make a pretty cute tiger" he said, cupping your cheeks and pecking your lips. You smiled but slapped his hands away. "Well, I wanna see how cute of a dinosaur you make so go get changed".
He did make a cute dinosaur. He made a freaking adorable dinosaur, big and green and cuddly. He saw your look and purposely waddled over to you. In response, you pulled the hood over his messy white-blonde hair and wrapped your arms around his neck unable to control yourself. He looked too loveable. He yanked your hood on as well, way past your eyes. "Asshole" you mumbled and he flashed you a grin. "But I'm a cute asshole."
You lightly punched his arm and moved to leave the room, but he laced his hand with yours so you walked out together.
The boys were sitting in a circle with a table full of food in the middle but the attention was dragged to the two of you rather soon.
"That was quick," giggled Tae and since his back was facing you, he didn't see. He slowly turned around and opened his mouth.
"I swear to God if you scream, Kim Taehyung" groaned Hoseok next to him.
He closed his mouth and swallowed his yell. "Looking great" he choked out.
"Well, here we see Yoongi-hyung's gone soft" said Jungkook smugly in the background receiving a killer glare from said hyung.
By now, you were part of the circle, but that in no way meant the tormenting was over. Jimin burst out laughing next, again, gaining himself a look as sharp as a dagger in return. "I'm sorry, I can't take your threats seriously anymore-" he barely strung together a sentence with all the laughing he was producing and wiped a tear away from the corner of his eye.
You rolled your eyes because you knew as soon as you stepped outside the dorm, they would all be in for a hell of a storm. He let your hand go for a second before resting it on your waist and pulling you closer the way he always did.
When everyone started eating and speaking amongst themselves, you felt his breath tickle you ear. "Don't listen to them, we look great. And scary. Tigers and dinosaurs are scary" he said, putting on a certain tone of voice that made his statement a whole lot funnier. You chucked lightly and rested your head against his shoulder.
You had to admit- these onesie were as comfy as they looked. It was also comfortable lying on your boyfriend, but that was beside the point.
Namjoon hummed in order to get attention from Seokjin. "This is really good," he said, jabbing a dumpling with his chopstick. "Usually I don't eat them because they're too soft" he commented casually.
"Not as soft as Yoongi and (Y/N)~" sang Taehyung from next to you. That was a mistake because you pushed him roughly with your leg and he toppled over with a shriek, spilling his soup all down his top. "Fuck off" was your blunt response to his unnecessary comment.
Everyone on the table tried and failed to suppress their laughter, especially after Tae rose from his sodden spot on the floor to change his clothes, grumbling and probably cursing you out. Inwardly, of course.
You didn't even look up from your noodles, acting as if you had no idea what the big deal was.
Finally, Hobi spoke up. "I get that you're all very shocked and whatnot, but I've known her since I was 7 years old and I've never seen her so soft." He stated, smile erupting from his face.
"Okay but matching onesies. I was not expecting that one. Like at all." Exclaimed the maknae from the corner of the room again.
"But they're cute" admitted Jimin. Now Tae was back and clearly he had learned very little from his lesson. "That. That right there is the issue. Min Yoongi doesn't do 'cute'"
"Do you have a damn death wish?" Roared Yoongi from next to you. ------------------------- Not a moment too soon, dinner was over and everyone was huddled in front of the TV watching a cheesy comedy with jokes so bad they were actually funny. You were back in the same position, back against the armrest and legs draped over Yoongi's thighs, your hand holding his on your lap. On the other side of the sofa was a very tired, almost asleep Namjoon with swollen eye bags and droopy lids. On the other sofa was Seokjin and Taehyung, leaned against each other comfortably, more invested in their conversation that in the movie. Lastly, leaning against the largest sofa, was Jimin, Hoseok and Jungkook- in that order, both younger males leaning on Hoseok's shoulders but wide awake whereas he was already asleep.
The atmosphere was very relaxed. The clean, light living room was now dark, TV screen illuminating the room with a soft blue glow. Your eyes didn't begin to feel heavy until Yoongi used his trick - hair playing.
Twirling strands of your short hair between his long fingers drained you of any energy obtained during the day. You fell asleep first, closely followed by Yoongi as his hand stilled against your head.
Seokjin nudged Taehyung in the direction of the sleeping couple, looking like the cuddliest beings on earth. "We joke about it, but they're perfect for each other" and Taehyung nodded with a light eye roll. He knew it was true.
Namjoon laughed quietly at the sight before sleep hit him as hard as it had hit you two. Jungkook looked at your sleeping figures and sighed. "I shipped them from day one, you know" which resulted in Jimin reaching across his sleeping hyung and slapping Jungkook's arm. "Shut up. I'm just jealous I didn't get a onesie"
"Hey, guys, onesie sleepover next time"

It’s Our Anniversary
Tumblr media
Artist/Person : Min Yoongi/Agust D
Group/Crew : BTS
Genre : Fluff
Word Count : 1986
Request :  Can I ask for some super fluffy fluff with Yoongi or Namjoon? (You choose) Maybe make it medium sized or long? (If that's okay) tysm💓
My gaze was focused on his hunched form, a smile on my lips as I watched his head bob to the music playing through the headphones that covered his ears. Slowly, I stood from my seat on the dark couch and crossed the studio to where he sat. Draping my arms over him, resting them on his chest, I buried my face in the crook of his neck and placed a soft kiss on it. He paused the current track, slipping his headphones off with a chuckle. “Yes, baby girl?” Yoongi muttered, looking over his shoulder and chuckling at my puckered lips. Turning a bit more, he connected our lips, for a moment, in a chaste kiss.
“Mm-how’s the beat coming along?” I muttered against his lips as we pulled away, looking over at the computer that glowed in front of him. A grin spread on his face as he nodded, taking the headphones from around his neck and placing them over my head. He quickly hit play, and the beat flowed through. I couldn’t stop the bobbing of my head, eyes shutting as I listened intently. It seemed to go by too fast, but I still opened my eyes and slipped the pair off my head. “How was it? Did you like it?” I giggled at his excited face as I nodded. “I always like your beats, babe.” My smile only widened, heart fluttering when his ears started to redden.
We’d ended up on the couch, curled into each other as we shared quick kisses and laughs. “Hey, babe?” He muttered, making me hum in acknowledgement. “Remember when we met?” I chuckled nodding, tightening my arms around him. “You wouldn’t even talk to me.”
It was a rainy day in Seoul when I finally agreed to meet up with Namjoon to hang out. We’d been friends for a while, but hadn’t met up in the longest due to his training. We’d agreed to meet at a nice café near his company building, opting for somewhere quiet and warm.
I’d arrived earlier than he did, deciding to order a large cup of hot chocolate. But, as soon as I sat down he entered. Two others at his sides, both looking just as cold as he did. Waving them over, a smile on my lips, I chuckled when Namjoon tripped slightly over his feet.
When they finally got to the booth that I sat at, I stood and pulled the much taller man into a hug. “Namjoon-ie oppa, haven’t seen you in forever.” I smiled, turning to the other two men and bowing slightly as I greeted them. One was tanned, a large smile pulled onto his face as he greeted me excitedly. The other, kept quiet as he bowed slightly before he sat down next to the other guy, Hoseok. Sitting back in my seat, I chuckled. “Do you guys want something to drink? I can go up and order.” I offered in a soft voice. Only for the quiet one, who Namjoon informed me was Yoongi, to shake his head and stand. After he got their orders, he turned and walked to the front. “Is he usually this quiet?” I asked softly, raising an eyebrow when the two nodded. “He talks more, but not much.” Hoseok stated, and I nodded in understanding.
He come back when we were laughing quietly, placing all three of their drinks on the table. Sitting back with a soft smile, I looked over them. “I see that you guys’ hair is styled in a cool way, you guys debuting soon?” I asked as I took a sip from my heated drink. Namjoon nodded, “In a month.” My smile spread as my eyebrows shot up. “Oh, congratulations!” I said excitedly, I leaned forward onto the table. “I’ll make sure to spread the awareness.” I giggled, when Hoseok and Namjoon started dancing funnily in their seats.
We chuckled at the story, “You know I thought you liked Namjoon for the longest because of that day.” He muttered, making me laugh. “I thought you didn’t like me. Well, until you finally spoke to me.” I stated, reaching up and pushing some of his hair back from his face.
It’d been a year since the boys debuted, their popularity was growing and they’d made friends in the industry. Making friends in the industry meant, more parties to attend. And that’s where we were now. They took me to damn near every party they went to, introducing me to countless amount of people, including ones that I listened to on a regular basis. But, just like every party ever, there were those people that make others uncomfortable.
There was a guy who would not leave me alone, and of course there was always someone who’d try and make a move on me but they’d give up if I added some firmness to my voice, not this guy. At first, it was kind of okay, but then he became aggressive and possessive. He just wouldn’t leave. But, finally after moving around the party, the guy right at my side, I caught sight of Yoongi. We made eye contact, and I tried my best to show my plead through my facial expression. It must’ve worked before his jaw clenched and he started his making his way over. The boys were next to him when we’d make eye contact, so naturally they followed him, but he was faster than them. He weaved through the dozens of bodies before he got to me. “Yah, what’s going on here?” He muttered, immediately getting close enough to me for me to feel safe. The guy towered over him, but he wasn’t intimidated. “Go fine someone else. She’s mine, I called her, so back off.” The guy slurred slightly, but that seemed to only anger Yoongi even more. “Called her?” He questioned with a rough tone. His accent coming to show, along with his dialect. His fists were balled up at his sides and he looked like he’d swing any moment, but I’d grabbed one of his fists before he could. “Don’t do it. Come on, let’s just go.” I muttered to him as tugged him back. He let me pull him away, until the guy said something making Yoongi charge at him. But, the other boys were behind us the whole time and two of the boys ran and caught him before he could do too much damage.
When we’d made it back across the room, where they were before, Yoongi grabbed my shoulders and turned me a few times, looking over me. “Are you okay?” He finally asked with a soft voice, our eyes locked in an intense stare. I nodded, and he let out a soft sigh of relief. “Good. From now on, you stay by my side. Okay?” I only nodded, and let a soft smile grace his lips as he clutched my hand. The night continued like that, me at his side and our hands still intertwined.
“That night was so overwhelming, to be honest.” I muttered, grabbing at his large hand. “Why?” “Well, the guy I liked was all protective, and it made my heart flutter. It made me fall for you even more.” I blushed, making Yoongi chuckle. “I didn’t you liked me for so long.” He muttered, brushing his nose against my cheek before kissing it softly. I merely nodded, before muttering in the softest voice. “I found you interesting when I first met you.” Again, a chuckle left his lips before he buried his face into my hair. “Do you remember when I confessed?” His voice was muffled, but I understood him perfectly.
It was a cold, rainy autumn evening, I was home alone. There was take out on my living room floor, television playing a re-run of Hello Counselor. It was relaxing, me being alone. It was the first time in a while that I could relax, with work and school.
It was perfect, until the doorbell rang, interrupting the commercial that was playing. My eyebrows furrowed as I grabbed my phone and stood, making my way to the door. Looking into the small screen next to the door, I saw the zoomed in face of Yoongi. I immediately opened the door, coming face-to-face with him. His hair was wet, falling over his face, and his clothes clung to his body. “Hey, come in. Oh my, you’re soaked.” I gasped, pulling him in. After he took off his shoes, I lead him to the bathroom. “I’ll get you some of my brothers’ old clothes.” I stated, turning to make my way to the guest room. Before I could walk away, his cold, wet hand wrapped around my wrist. “Wait…” I turned to looked at him. “I have get something dry to wear before you get sick.” I muttered, heart hammering against my chest as he stared at me. “Just-I have to tell you something first.” He stated, voice shaky. “Can’t it wait- ““It’s important, Y/N.” He stated firmly, making me nod. “I-um...this is hard…um-I have to tell you something.” He took a deep breath and shut his eyes, his hand falling from my wrist and running through his hair. “Um…ever since I met you, I thought you were the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. You’re funny, like you could make me laugh without even trying. Sometimes, your funnier than Hobi.” I giggled, shaking my head as a blush spread up my neck, a smile spread on his lips. “You’re so smart. Sometimes, when its only us and Namjoon in the room, I listen to you guys talk. I like watching you, though. Even if I can’t understand sometimes. Makes me want to learn about the things that you like so that I can have those kinds of conversations with you. And, god don’t get me started on how cute you are. I’ve never seen anyone, or anything, cuter than you. Especially when you smile. God, I’d do anything to see you smile.” I was speechless, staring at him with wide eyes and parted lips. “Fuck…okay what trying to say is, I like you. A lot, actually.” He breathed softly, eyes fixed downward and his body visibly tensed. I was processing everything that he’d said, eyes running over his form as everything settled in. “I-I like you, too.” I spoke softly before I could even think, watching as his head slowly raised up. “You do?” I nodded, giggling when a grin pulled onto his face. Before I knew it, he’d crashed into me. His hands were cupping my cheeks, slowly sliding into my hair as he brushed his lips against mine. “Can I kiss you?” He whispered, eyes flickering down to my lips and back to my eyes. With a slight nod, he crashed our lips together. His lips were still a bit cold, yet were so much softer than I imagined.
When we finally pulled away, our breathing was hard and rigid. Resting our foreheads together, we kept our eyes closed, taking everything in. “I can’t believe I was finally able to kiss you…” He muttered, pulling back as we re-opened our eyes. “I can’t believe you like me back…” I whispered, glancing up at his flushed face. “Me either…”
Giggling at the soft feeling of his lips brushing against the nape of my neck. I’d moved to straddle his lap, arms wrapped around his shoulders. “That was the happiest day of my life.” He muttered into my neck, pulling me close. I nodded, running my hands through his hair. “I never experienced a happiness like that, and I’m so happy that you were the one to make me feel that.” I felt him a smile against me, his arms tightening around me before he placed a chaste kiss there. “Happy 2 years. I love you, princess.” A smile pulled onto my lips, my heart fluttering at the words. “I love you, too, Yoongs.”

Pt1 Pt2 Pt3
"NOONA, hurry the fuck up, we want go already" you heard Yoongi shout from the living room, you were about to bite back but decided to ignore him, you knew that would piss him off more. instead you continued to get ready, it was an important night after all and you didn't want turn up under dressed for the occasion. Ever since they won their awards all the bigger groups had started inviting them to their party's and tonight was Bigbangs. The boys knew Bigbang was your ultimate group and were hesitant to tell you about it, but Taehyung let it slip and you had to beg them to let you go. Eventually they reluctantly agreed when you promised you would be their slave for the next month and would do anything they asked.
"Yah, why did we even invite her? you know she's just going to end up embarrassing us right?" Yoongi scolded the others.
"Because you love me and I'm the most awesome person in the world" you said flashing Yoongi a big smile as you entered the room and it fell silent, but as usual you were oblivious.
"Has anyone seen my heels? I swear they were here earlier" you asked as you bent over to look under the couch and you swore you heard a hiss noise. "Ah here they are" you smiled, happy about what the night will bring as you sat on the couch putting on your heels. You looked up to see the guys staring at you, their mouths slightly agape. "What?" you squished your face in confusion.
"Ah I-isn't that dress a bit tight noona?" Jin asked timidly and you raised an eyebrow in response. The truth was you had never gone partying with the boys so they had no idea how you dressed when you did go out, you guys normally just hung out at their dorm and all you ever wore was your denim shorts and a singlet, you were just one of the boys or so you thought.
"What? You don't likeeee?" you teased mimicking your bias, Seung hyun from Big Bang.
"See what I mean? she has already started, were never going to get invited to one of their party's ever again" Yoongi yelled, shaking his finger at you.
"Honestly I think she will get us invited to more party's after tonight" Hoseok muttered under his breath, but everyone heard him.
"Chill out Yoongi, I can be quite charming when I want to be" you grinned at him placing a hand on his shoulder before gentle caressing the skin of his arm and walking towards the front door with a sway in your step. You opened the door and realised no one had moved. "Are you guys coming or what?"
The car ride there was mostly awkward silence, thank god Hoseok sat next to you, you and he mimicked Jimin in the music video for blood, sweat and tears, with his sexy looks at the camera and flipping your jacket off your shoulder and flipping it back again, to which Jimin looked less then impressed but only made it funnier.
The car pulled up out side a large apartment building and you just about screamed with excitement, you couldn't believe you were actually going to get to meet Bigbang and it seemed fitting that it was with Bts. You had met them at one of Bigbang's concert, you defended them against a sasaeng fan and they invited you to dinner to say thank you, they thought you were funny so they decided to keep you around. You weren't like other girls they met, and it wasn't just because you were a foreigner, you drank and swore like a sailor and weren't afraid to speak your mind but you were respectful about it and others opinions, no matter how much they differed from you own. You weren't afraid to make a fool of yourself in public just to make someone laugh and when it came down to it you had a big heart, even if you did try to hide it at times, you would always be the first to comfort one of them when a so called scandal would happen or anti fans were bringing them down.
Again the elevator ride was doused in awkward silence and the boys became serious for the first time since you met, their faces stone cold as they stared at the elevator doors, but you couldn't wipe the smile off your face. The doors opened and the music hit you, the bass vibrating inside your body as a wave of people danced in time with its beat in what you assumed to be the living room. You walked behind the guys making your way through the dancing crowd as people nodded in their direction and they nodded back, it felt like you were in a film clip for one of their tracks. You entered the kitchen and there they were, Bigbang sitting around on the bench tops drinking and laughing and you felt your heart race.
"Hey you guys made it" Jiyong called out waving an arm in your direction and you froze, unsure of what to do with yourself.
'confidence, confidence, confidence. that's what the boys always tell me' you thought to yourself and you instantly felt you shoulders relax as you shimmied over to them behind the guys. They exchanged the classic bro shake/hug and exchanged pleasantries about Jiyong's apartment and the awards the guys had previously just won.
"And who might this delicate little flower be?" Seungri asked, jumping off the bench and moving towards you, parting the guys in half in the process. "Do you have a name little flower?" he smirked as he picked up your hand with his and placed a kiss on it and you giggled.
"My name is _____ and I assure you that I'm not a delicate little flower" you smirked back at him, looking directly into his eyes.
"Do you promise?" he asked moving his face way to close to your own as he cocked an eyebrow.
"Yah, sit down Seungri and leave the poor girl alone" a deep voice scolded him from behind you and your breath hitched at the sound. You span around on your heels flicking your hair to the side just like a shampoo commercial to face him, his eyes were just as dark and his gaze as intense as you had heard. You looked up at him as you ran you tongue across your top lip.
"And I'm certainly not a girl" you purred and the man seemed to blush before you which caused an uproar of laughter from behind you.
His tall frame quickly retreated away from you to the safety of his members and all you did was nod your head to the side before turning around to face the others, noticing Yoongi was glaring at you and you just smiled back at him.
"Your clearly are not a.......girl" Jiyong uttered as he eyed you from head to toe and back again biting his bottom lip in the process.
"O-k, anyone want a drink?" Hoseok asked as he stood in front of you as if he were shielding you from their gaze. You barely had time to answer him before he grabbed you by the arm and pulled you towards the fridge.
"What the hell Hobi?" you growled as you pulled your arm from his grip, he sighed running his hand through his hair.
"Cool it alright, you are way too much right now" he said calmly not looking at you, instead focusing on mixing drinks.
"What do you mean by that? you mean you think I'm being a slut? you're one to talk with all those hip thrusts you guys do on stage" you scoffed at him.
"That's not what I meant..... wait I thought you said you never watched our live performances?" he smirked at you and you blushed. he caught you out, you did watch their performances just as much as you watched Bigbangs but you didn't want them to know that, they would just end up teasing you about it.
"I-I don't it's just.....all I ever hear about from my co-workers" you said coldly, trying to seem disinterested, but it didn't work. He had caught you out and you knew as soon as he could he would tell the others about it.
"Do you like watching us......thrust noona?" Hoseok whispered as he leaned into the side of your face, his lips grazing the skin of your ear as he spoke and you shivered at the feeling.
All you could muster in response was a scoff as you snatched the drink out of his hand and sculled it back, burning your throat in the process and you heard him chuckle. "Fuck you Hobi" you grumbled before picking up the next drink and walked away, you could have sworn you heard him say something but the loud music made it impossible to understand so you just kept walking until you made it back to the others.
"Ah there's my delicate little flower, come sit next to oppa" Seungri purred as he patted the piece of bench between him and Jiyong, you thought about it for a second before sculling your second drink and handing the empty plastic cup to Jimin, his mouth agape at your brash behaviour, you winked at him and then made your way over to Seungri, sitting next to him, leaning back on your palms and your legs crossed. Seungri shamelessly eyed your body licking his lips as he did so, suddenly you felt a hand snake under your chin and pull your head in the opposite direction.
"Don't waste your time with him noona, Seungri is selfish, you will never get any satisfaction with him" Jiyong sighed, his eyes burring holes into your own. "Where as I'm a generous man, I like to give before I receive and boy does daddy like to give" he licked his lips at the last part causing you to gulp loudly, but you were so captivated by his gaze you couldn't bare to look away.
"Alright, here's the dr......." Hoseok paused as soon as he saw you sitting in between the two men and Jiyong's hand delicately placed on your chin and his face grew cold.
"Noona, I thought you might want another drink?" Hoseok sad sternly as he held out a cup towards you. You finally broke eye contact with Jiyong to look over to Hoseok, his face was like stone as he stared at you and you couldn't help but blush as you sheepishly grabbed the cup from his hand.
"While these drinks are good, how about we really get this party started......shots anyone?" Seungri almost shouted as he produced a bottle of tequila from behind him, smirking at his own effort in concealing the large bottle. "hey you, Jungkook right? how about you go to the kitchen and get us some shot glasses, salt and some lemons. You know what, why don't you help him with that?" Seungri said pointing at Taehyung, both men nodded and made their way to the kitchen.
You felt bad about the older man ordering them around but no matter how much you disliked it that was apart of their culture and there was nothing you could do about it, instead you just slid down off the bench, finished your drink and started to walk away.
"Where are you going flower?" Seungri called after you. You stopped and turned to face him.
"To help them and I thought I told you I'm not a fucking flower" you said before making your way to help the guys causing Jiyong to roar with laughter at your comment. You were getting the shot glasses out of the cupboard when Yoongi stood in front of you, his arms placed either side of you stopping you from moving away.
"What the fuck are you doing?" He growled. "I thought I told you not to fuck this up? so I will ask you again, what the fuck do you think you are doing?" you rolled your eyes at him.
"Look Yoongi, I understand that you have a reputation that you would like to up hold but you have to understand that I'm a woman and I have needs, needs that have not been met in a long time" you said calmly, this time he rolled his eyes at you.
"Needs? are you fucking serious? you're going to fuck this up because you're fucking horny? Why didn't you just rub one out before we came?" he groaned.
"If you must know I did" his eyes widened at your confession "But it doesn't quite work that way Yoongi, I need a mans touch, the feel of warm flesh against my own, nothing can compare to the feeling not even.....rubber" You enunciated the last word purely for the entertainment of Yoongi's face contorting at the realisation of what you meant.
"If that's what you wanted why didn't you just tell us before we came?" he asked and it was your turn to contort your face.
"What the fuck do you mean?" you asked confused and he laughed.
"Are you really that blind? omg you are.... you know all of us want to fuck you right? No one as much as Hobi but we would all fuck the shit out of you if you let us" he chuckled as he shook his head and you gasped at his confession. "I mainly want to because I know you would be dirty in the sack, I bet you'd let guys do whatever they wanted to you. But I never hit on you because of Hobi" all you could do was stare at him as he made is confession, you were so confused you thought you were just one of the guys and truth be told if you knew you had a chance you would have fucked anyone of them by now, especially Hoseok. He was your bias in Bts and when you met them your attraction to him only got bigger, he was just like he portrayed himself, playful and big hearted but when it came down to it he could switch into a sex god. You had seen and heard it yourself, while drinking at the guys place one day they had girls around, Hoseok was flirting hard with a girl and long story short he took her to his room and fucked her so hard you had to turn the music up to drown out their screams of pleasure.
"W-what do you mean because of Hobi?" you stuttered.
"You really don't see it? He has a massive crush on you, none of us wanted to make a move on you until you made a move on one of us just so we wouldn't hurt Hobi. The guy is fucking crazy about you, you can't see that?" he paused for a moment. "Alright who is the one that always invites you over? Who's the one that brings food and drinks to you? Who's the one that always sits next to you when were watching movies and lets you snuggle up to him while he plays with your hair? Who's the one that offers you his jacket when you're cold? Who's the one that chases you around the house trying to tickle you and when he finally catches you he just holds you instead? Who's the one that always drives you home late at night to make sure you got there safe? And when you stay, who's the one that always offers up his bed for you to sleep in while he sleeps on the couch? Who took you to his parents for Christmas because you were alone in a foreign country?"
You couldn't believe it, have you really been that blind? All this time you had just thought he was being nice because you guys were friends not because he liked you. You had just put all the sweet things he did like kiss you on the cheek when he dropped you home late at night down to it just being how he was and if you did allow yourself to think that way you had just though you had an overactive imagination.
"I can't believe you never noticed" Yoongi laughed as he walked away.
You couldn't move as your brain tried to process the information, Hoseok liked you? How could that be?
"Noona, are you ok?" Jungkook asked placing a hand on your shoulder.
"Umm, yeah........ yeah I'm ok" you stammered before slowly heading back to everyone else. You placed the shot glasses on the bench where you had previously been sitting and you just stood there staring at them in a catatonic state.
"The first one is for the flower" Seungri stated proudly as he handed you the glass, you took it and sculled it, not caring for the salt or lemon and slammed the glass back on the bench. "HA I guess she really isn't a delicate flower, would you like another?" all you did was nod in response.
He filled the rest of the glasses and handed them out, everyone took their shot at the same time and you felt Hoseok press against your back as he placed his glass back on the bench and you couldn't help but blush at the feeling, you didn't know if you were ready to face him. Did he really like you or was Yoongi just making it up so they could all laugh at you later?
A few shots later you felt as though you had enough 'liquid' courage to face Hoseok and ask him if it was true and just as you turned around to face him, you saw her. The girl Hoseok fucked at the party and she was headed towards you.
"Hey handsome, long time no see. wanna dance?" she cooed placing a hand on his chest and you instantly glared at her.
"You bet I fucking do" Hoseok practically jumped at her.
She grabbed his hand and lead him to the dance floor and you watched anxiously bitting your bottom lip as she grinded her butt into him but your attention was broken by Yoongi laughing at you.
"Jealous much?" he chuckled in your ear and you punched him in the shoulder to which he instantly yelled and started rubbing the sore spot, Jimin laughed at him oblivious to the reason you hit Yoongi in the first place but he didn't care to ask. You turned to Jimin and took the shot straight out of his hand and sculled it back slamming it on the bench and he just stared at you.
"Come on, were going to dance" you stated to Jimin before grabbing his shirt and pulling him to the dance floor. He was the sexiest dancer of Bts and had the dirtiest mind, you often thought he danced like a male stripper and that was absolutely perfect for what you had planned.
"What? how do I even know you can dance?" Jimin teased poking you in the side. It was true, he didn't know you could dance, you had never actually danced in front of any of them and he was in for a rude awakening.
"You right, you don't, but your about to.... I hope your ready for this?" you said leaning in close and suddenly dropped to the floor before doing body rolls back up and grinding in to him and he cocked an eyebrow.
"Alright, game on" he said before doing the same thing you had and you laughed at him. As if by fate their song dope started playing, you quickly span around backing your ass in to him as you moved it to the beat. He snaked his hands around your waist and started to grind back with the movements of your hips, you had only gotten to the first chorus when you felt a rush of cold air hit your back and his hands were no longer on your hips, but a second later you felt them back again. You just thought that he was doing something on his own or stepping back to admire your movements until you realised that the frame behind you was taller then before and the thrust of his hips were much rougher and you turned you head to try and see who it was, but the man placed his face in your hair before you could see.
"You didn't think I would let that little shit dance with you like this, did you?" Hoseok whispered breathlessly into your ear and you practically moaned as you rested your head back on his shoulder still grinding into him with the beat. "He knows he isn't supposed to touch you, you're mine" he grunted as he rested his forehead against the side of you head.
You turned around to face him, snaking your hands around the back of his neck and he placed a leg between your legs as your hips rolled towards each other and away again. You were already getting breathless and it wasn't because of the dancing, his leg was so far between your legs that every time you rolled your hips you rubbed against it and when your hips met you could feel how hard he had gotten from it.
"Hobi" you called, breaking the silence between you and he nodded in response to show you he was listening. "Let's get out of here" you said staring longing into his eyes and with that he grabbed your hand and practically ran to the front door.
As soon as the elevator doors closed you pulled him into you and kissed him, he returned the kiss and pushed you against the wall, trapping your arms at your side and you gasped at the feeling allowing him to shove his tongue in your mouth and massage it against your own. The sound of the elevator doors opening sounded and he quickly pulled away from you, he grabbed your hand and rushed the both of you out and into the waiting car.
He barely had time to tell the driver to go back to the dorm before you were sitting on his lap forcing your tongue into his mouth and grinding against his rock hard cock causing him to growl into the kiss. You couldn't stop yourself, you had thought about him so much that it had built up in to this need that you had to release. His hands roamed every inch of your body before coming to rest on your ass, pulling you in closer and slowling down your thrusts and you threw your head back as the first moan escaped your lips.
It felt as though barely anytime had passed since you left the party but you were already back at the dorm, you didn't want to get off him but you had too. he grabbed your hand again and lead you to the dorm, you closed the door and he pulled you too his room. He pushed your back against the door as he stared at your face as if he were searching for something and he cupped your cheek with his hand.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted this" he confessed as he looked you in the eyes.
"Hobi, you don't have to whisper sweet nothings to me to get me into bed, you have me already" you smiled at him but he didn't smile back.
You placed your hands on his chest and leaned in to kiss him, this time it felt different, it was gentle more sensual then before. You used your hands to push him over to the bed, as soon as the back of his legs hit it you shoved him making him fall on to the mattress. You reached around your back and unzipped your dress as he laid there, watching you intently, you slowly pulled the dress down your body exposing you matching black lace bra and panties.
"Fuck, you're so beautiful" he said breathlessly and you blushed at his words.
You stepped out of the dress and your heels and crawled over the top of him as he laid staring at you, watching your every movement. You lent down and kissed him as you lowered your ass on to him, grinding as soon as you felt his hard cock again and he hissed.
"This isn't gonna work, if you keep doing this I'll come before I even have the chance to get naked. Let me take the lead" He whispered picking you up and sitting you beside him. He took his shirt off and threw it across the room and suddenly grabbed your legs pulling you forward so your back was flat on the bed. He parted your legs with his knees and lent in to kiss you once again, it was so tender and soft not how you thought he would be. He cupped your cheek with one hand as he trailed kisses down the other cheek to your neck and finally stopping on your breasts. He lifted you up just enough to get his hands around your back and undo your bra and flinged it across the room, he wasted no time in taking one of your breasts in his mouth and cupping the other with his hand as he ran his thumb over your nipple and matched the movements on the other with his tongue. He was so tender with his touch and he took his time, nothing like what you were used to, the guys you dated barely wanted to bother with foreplay and they always wanted to go hard and fast at everything.
You felt his hand move from your breast and down your stomach making you arch your back off the bed, already panting in anticipation of his touch. He slid his hand in under your panties and ran his middle finger down your lips.
"Shit, you're so wet already" He breathed above you.
He brought his finger back up, making sure to coat it in your own juices, when he reached your clit he gently rubbed circles around it and you moaned, he sped up a little keeping the pressure the same as he took your breast in his mouth again making you moan once again. You could feel the tension rising in your lower abdomen and began to roll your hips matching his movements, and he sped his finger up again. Before you knew what was happening your body began to shake and you dug your fingernails into his shoulders moaning his name as you came, no one had ever made you come that fast before.
He took his hand out of your panties and released your breast from his mouth moving up so your faces were evenly matched and leaned in to kiss you. You ran your hands down his chest and his abs finally reaching his belt, your hands were so shaky that you couldn't undo it and he chuckled before standing up to take it off himself. You watched him biting your lower lip as he slowly pulled his pants down and his cock sprung free, you reached out to grab it but instead he grabbed your hand with his and lent in to kiss you once again.
"Tonight is about you, not me. I want you to feel good jagi, I want to make you feel good" he practically whispered as he looked in your eyes and your heart fluttered at his words.
He slowly laid you back on the bed and pulled your panties down your legs and threw them somewhere with your bra, before placing himself between your legs and you felt his cock graze the inside of your thigh as he did. He leaned in to kiss you once again as he spread your legs and slowly pushed himself inside you and you moaned. He stayed there for a moment, not moving apart from tenderly kissing you. As soon as he felt your arms around his neck pulling him closer in to the kiss he started to slowly move his hips and you groaned. He was so deep inside you but so gentle, he felt amazing as he slowly stretched you around him. You wrapped your legs around his waist and he began to move faster, you were so close already just with the sensual way he moved his hips, making his dick rub just the right spots. You began to moan louder and move your hips with his, meeting them with a light thud and he groaned as he deepened the kiss. He lifted you up while he was still inside you so he was sitting on the bed and you were riding him face to face, his arms still wrapped around your waist and yours still around his neck.
You began to grind a little harder on him and he broke the kiss placing his forehead on your own panting like crazy as he stared into your eyes and you moaned again.
"Fuck your moans are so hot, their like music to my ears. you have no idea how much they turn me on" he breathed and moaned louder at his words.
You thrusts started to lose their rhythm as you neared your high once again so he placed his hands on your hips so he could control your movements, he could feel you already clenching around him so he sped up a little again and you threw your head back letting out a long moan.
"Oh fuck..... I'm gonna come soon" He said between breaths "I didn't want to come so soon...... you're just so beautiful.......I can't help it.......fuck"
Your body started to shake again and you began to thrust and moan uncontrollably as you came at his words and when you clenched around him for the last time you felt the warmth of his come fill you up as he panted placing his forehead against yours again trying to catch his breath. You both sat there for a moment staring in each others eyes as his cock still twitched inside you.  He kissed you again sweetly before placing you on the bed and heading out of the room, returning in no time at all with a damp cloth to clean you up and you smiled gently at his gesture. He left the room again and you were unsure of how you felt about all this. he was so sweet, but was this more then just one night? The boys were famous for one nighters and in your experience it was best to leave before they kicked you out, but before you had time do decide Hoseok was back with a bottle a water, he handed it to you before he jumped into bed pulling the blankets over the two of you. As soon as you were done with the drink he reached out and pulled you into him, placing a kiss on your lips again and he laid there looking into your eyes as his stared to slowly close and he began to snore.
You felt so safe in his arms but should you really stay? you were torn, your feelings had magnified for him and you didn't want to get hurt just because you thought this was something that it wasn't, maybe Yoongi got it wrong? Maybe Hoseok just wanted to fuck you like the others but wanted to treat you right because you were friends? You couldn't push the thoughts out of your head and certainly couldn't sleep. You decide you should leave, you didn't want it to be awkward in the morning.
You got up and got dressed and opened the door before you left you turned to see him sleeping peacefully with a smile on his face and it almost broke your heart and you realised you had to leave, if you didn't things would only get messy. As you walked out the front door a tear ran down your cheek and you knew things would never be the same with him again.
