Eso es lo que siento, que molesto es ver un hombre que participa de una conversación acerca de una persona en cuestión, que insinúa cosas obscenas sobre la persona y su intención.

Que molestia aquel hombre que cuenta lo que oye pero no lo que dice su propia boca. Una basura y sin duda un humano hipócrita.

¿Se sintió bien ser el héroe, el "hice lo correcto"? ¿Tanto querías que ella viese algo en el profundo vacío de tu alma? Oh pobrecito.. Solo te sentias solo

So, I get up super-cranky, take care of Hombrecito (first breakfast, meds, juice, etc.), and then run up to Ace Hardware to get the parts for his mega-industrial curtain rod. While I’m there, might as well pick up more dirt and poop, then I get home and build a couple of standing planters we got from Aldi, only to find out that the screws were completely missing from the second box. Luckily, I’m a compulsive screw hoarder (take that as you will), so I have plenty that can stand in for them. I get the planters made (after having to locate my cordless drill battery charger that no one plugged in when they moved it), and I start hauling the dirt and poop and planters and seedlings out to Do The Garden.

Around 2pm, I realized a few things in no particular order:

1) I’m old and have very low heat tolerance.

2) I’m old and haven’t been super-active in the last month or so.

3) I haven’t eaten anything yet today.

Also lucky for me, I have experience being this dumb on occasion, so nothing truly horrible happened, but that good ol’ saying came back home to haunt me:

Don’t let anyone ruin your day. It’s YOUR day. Ruin it yourself!

Alfie is inspecting the cheapo birdhouses I got at Joann’s for a crafternoon with friends. He’s in charge of making sure no squirrels or chipmunks or mice have snuck into the house inside one of these.

reread El hambre, from Misteriosa Buenos Aires, a story about how the first foundation of BA ended up with the spaniards completely sieged by natives and having to cannibalize each other 🥰🤗(and then flee) the story is fantastically written from a point of view which mixes up hatred from a baser soldier towards the aristocratic upper ranks, envy and desire (that man with golden hoop earrings! how dare he be so hot and arrogant!) and a visceral hunger for flesh…
