#CreativityOutofContext ( #COOC ) is a community-driven collective focused on #Art and #Entertainment, bringing together a diverse group of #creators. Our mission is to enhance interaction and engagement between local artistic talent and the surrounding communities. We aim to represent all forms and genres of #visual and #performance art.
Our goal is to nurture a sense of inclusivity through various #entertainment #events, #crafting #workshops, talent #classes, pop-up events, vendor #markets, and #community interactive gatherings. At C.O.O.C., we strongly believe in supporting #minority and #marginalized artists in #NorthCarolina, recognizing the challenges they face, from limited access to resources and opportunities to systemic biases that silence their voices.
We are dedicated to dismantling these barriers by creating an inclusive atmosphere where every artist feels acknowledged, appreciated, and empowered. Through workshops, collaborative projects, and community events, we offer platforms for these artists to showcase their talents, gain visibility, and forge meaningful connections with fellow creatives.
Additionally, we are expanding our community reach to include #SouthCarolina, #Virginia, #Georgia, and #Maryland.

**Glierratti Gatherings: SFX Makeup Introduction Class** Join us for a fun and creative evening at the **Congress Social Bar** in **Durham, NC**, on **March 4th at 7 PM**! This event is **free to attend**, but donations are gratefully accepted to support future gatherings.
**What鈥檚 Happening:** Learn the basics of **special effects (SFX) makeup** with **Mona Loverly**, an expert with over a decade of experience. Mona will guide you through creating stunning effects using **latex, fake blood, and common household items**.
**What to Bring:** - Your own supplies (e.g., latex, fake blood, makeup brushes, sponges, etc.). - A creative spirit and willingness to learn!
