When the zootopia 2 trailer dropped; my first thought upon seeing the dude in the robe was something along the lines of “that guy looks kind of human”

It’s obviously wrong, ‘cuz you know “no primates” and all that, but that’s what I first thought

When Zootopia 2 was announced, I speculated that the antagonists would be a predator supremacist group to act as a counterpoint to bellwether’s prey supremacist group, and the things you guys are saying is pretty much exactly that but a lot more detailed.

I do hope this movie is able to continue the original’s themes properly.

Which, while a bit disappointing (like, you finally introduce reptile, while not make the the villain also a reptile, or a bird, be different) it can also be well made.

For exemple, in the first movie, Bellwether was like "Prey are superior because we overcame predators 10 to 1! that's why we are better! *insert evil laugh*"

So what if this guy is like "Bellwether thought prey were superior? well she's wrong! Predator are superior cause we have teeth, or something equally dumb! *insert evil laugh*"

Like, they both have the mentally that they are superior, but for dumb reasons, and on opposites sides on the spectrum prey-predator

What I'm trying to say is, the first movie was able to pass a very important message in a incredible good way. So I have faith that this movie could do it again. At least let give it the benefit of the doubt, please.

I really want nick and Judy and be super codependent in Zootopia 2, like they can not function if separated for too long.

Is this a healthy thing to want out of a relationship between fictional characters? No, but neither are cheeseburgers and I suck them down like a New York stockbroker from the eighties sucks down cocaine, so I don’t think “healthiness” is a major concern.

Super excited for Zootopia 2, can’t wait to see how they’ll incorporate reptiles into the world of the film.

Also I’m going to theorize a little bit and say that Gary (who is described as a wanted criminal) was framed.

Also also, i need Nick and Judy to be freakishly obsessed with each other, romantically or platonically. (preferably romantic)

There’s something in the air in LA that makes me break out in hives. Disneyland was fun, but I’m glad to be back in Arizona.

I need them to have panic attacks if they’re separated for more than an hour and a half.

“Characters a and b need to go their separate ways at the end of a Disney sequel to show their growth and development” is so tired and dumb. I need Zootopia 2 to do the opposite. Make Judy and Nick so insanely dependent on each other that it’s borderline unhealthy and it remains that way for the entire duration of the film. Have them get separated during a big chaos scene and make them go absolutely feral. Nick panicking like he did in the first movie, screaming and hurriedly looking everywhere for her. Judy becoming so stressed and anxious that she instinctively reaches for Nick’s paw only to go crazy when she realizes he’s not there.
