This can't be happening again, but it is. Our arch rivals, the Boston Red Sox, scored 5 runs in the 5th inning. After Carlos Rodon gave up a 3 run homer, he was replaced by Cruz, who gave up a 2 run homer. He was replaced by Tim Hill, who finally got 3 outs. It's now 7-3, Red Sox. It's still early enough for my boys to rally. I hope that they do. I believe. I always believe. LET'S GO, YANKEES!!!!!

The Trade of a Lifetime
In 1920, the Boston Red Sox made one of the most infamous trades in baseball history. They sent Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees. (Big oopsie!) For the next 12 seasons, Ruth hit more home runs than the entire Red Sox team… 10 times. That decision went down as one of the most regrettable moves in sports history. Now, most of us aren’t swinging bats or signing major league contracts, but we’ve…

Philies 10 - Blue Jays 9 (September 3, 2024)
I think this was only my third game of the season, and while the Blue Jays lost, it was a beautiful night for baseball. I could have done with out Kyle Schwarber's three home runs (29, 30 and 31. That last one in the 9th was a crushing blow), but pretty cool when you see someone dominate in a game. Homers by Guerrero Jr. (28), Varsho (18), Barger (7) and Jiménez (4). And the hits. Thirty-four hits in one game is just fun.
Felt like there was more than 23,796 in the dome - but somehow managed to secure tickets with access to one of the fancy clubs under the stands. The Blueprint Club was next level, and even had a post-game old fashioned. That was like flying business class for the first time, pretty hard to go back to coach.

Between Shohei Otani and Teoscar Hernandez, I've become an LA Dodgers fan. Watching what these two amazing athletes can do is a thing of beauty. They both hit home runs in the game tonight, and Teoscar just got an RBI to get Shohei home. Shohei stole yet another base on his way home before Teoscarcame up to bat!! These guys are phenomenal!! I want to see the NY Yankees and the LA Dodgers in the World Series. That would be a great match up!! It would be the epitome of what baseball means to me. I love these guys!! I'm a Yankees fan forever, but I really like this Dodgers team. I love this game, and I love to watch people play it well. Both of these teams do just that. I just have to pretend that they're the Brooklyn Dodgers 😉😁😍 Let's go Yankees!!!!! Let's go Dodgers!!!!! Did I say that? 😁🤣😍

"How did Shuro think he could marry Falin when he hated her brother?" you have to understand. Toshiro is from a whole different country. In his head he and Falin would move back to the Eastern Archipelago and they'd see Laios twice a year tops. You can pretend to get along with in-laws you don't like for a few days a year, people do that all the time.
The actual flaw in his plan– which shows he doesn't really understand either of the Touden siblings– is the fact that if the plot hadn't happened and Falin had for some reason said yes to his proposal, Laios would have packed his bags and moved away with them instantly.
