I often think about that one post that has someone's DNI that's like "Irredeemable media: Homestuck" and "Current fandoms: Undertale and Deltarune" because yeah obviously tony fock was involved in homesock but he wasn't a lead creative, he made a few songs. But that thought is immediately chased by the realisation that the kind of person that has believes in irredeemable media also believes that a connection as tenuous as occasional music boy is grounds for execution.

My dad worked for himself when my brother and I were kids and would come home with stories about his coworker Barry who doesn't exist. It was kind of like Barry was my family's imaginary friend we all knew he wasn't real but from time to time Dad would have a story about what Barry was up to for reasons I'm still not totally clear on? And now yesrs and years later when both my brother and I are grown up and moved out we talk about Barry sometimes. I sometimes wonder if my Dad was really lonely working by himself all day so he would make up stories to entertain himself or of it was always on the spot. I've since wondered if other people grew up with family wide imaginary friends

A triumphant burn simmers within his palms, the player 2 controller within his hands gripped victoriously as the elation rolls over his body like soothing waves. “That.. that crap right there? The hell ya mean it was just a little one?! I almost turned 80 years old Futaba!” He spouts before abruptly shoving his head back up.

Returning to the brighter sights of video game before them, their characters would be witnessed donning their victorious poses while also keeping their brand new, demon slaying weapons high in the air. That giddiness charged up in Ryuji’s veins all over again as he pumps his fist in the air. “Aw hell yeah! Told ya all we had to do is think a lil stupid! Big bastard got sent crying home to the folks, damn insta-death gimmick bull–” Those childish mutters rumbled within his chest before he shakes his head. Now wasn’t the time for them annoyed through the worst of it.

What they held before their eyes now was something they could easily gloat about to the whole group chat. ..Mostly, at least to Ann and Akira seeing how the two of them also dabbled up into packaged RPG they decided to play one day, being the resident gamers in this gang, it was a no brainer that Ryuji and Futaba joined for the ride–

I never would’ve noticed that trick till like a billion hours later.”

Collapsing back on the bean bag chair with a whoop, Futaba stretched her arms over her head and finally let the slimy controller slip from her grasp to the floor. She'd been gripping it so tightly for the past two hours that she was sure she'd rubbed half the custom paint job off it. She could barely even process what had just happened, staring wide-eyed up at the square lamp on the ceiling with an expression of sheer bliss. "Heeeeeeeh," she wheezed finally, grinning and turning her head to look at Ryuji, spinning the beanbag around on the hardwood floor with aid of the sticky rubber pads on her homesocks.

When the blonde sat up, she did too, drumming her fists excitedly on her knees as she watched their characters posed victoriously side by side. Even Akira hadn't managed to clear the boss before now, and she couldn't help the warm swell of pride she felt - not just in their victory, but the fact that they were the first of the Thieves to clear it. The dream team. The LEGEND.
