Because of REASONS, I remembered my Scooby-Doo character designs from a few years ago. I decided to touch-up the picture a bit and fix a few things. So, here they are again! If I were to totally make my own “dream version” of Scooby-Doo, this isn’t exactly the “style” I’d prefer them in (something a little closer to the classic), this is just a cute and simple style I use when I want to get an idea for basic body-types, hair, and outfits. As for the story, I’d toss together all my favorite things from every previous version, but the basic plot would go like this; the kids all originally met when they were very little, trick-or-treating on Halloween, and solving the mystery of some mean older kids who were stealing candy. During middle school, they wound up moving away from each other for various reasons... but all reunited in high school! They had a fairly normal time, solving mundane mysteries and such. After graduation, they decide to take a road trip together, and THAT is when they truly become Mystery Inc. A mixture of the old-school plots, some new adventures, and yes- sometimes the spooky things ARE real! I’d honestly aim for it to be PG-13, it doesn’t need to be turbo-edgey and grim-dark, but they can say swears. There would one F-bomb in the whole show, and Freddy gets to say it~

I drew Velma first because I’ve always wanted to update her outfit as sort of a sleeveless sweater-dress kind of thing. I gave her red shorts instead of a skirt, and I think it somehow made her look more sporty but still cute. Some orange high-tops sort of bring it together. I wanted her hair to have something like a flapper-girl style, and I kept classic style square glasses because she works them (and still can’t see without them). Velma is easily the most adorable. She’s still the “smart one”, but she doesn’t know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING; history, science and chemistry, literature, and math are what she excels at. She also has a near photographic memory, and although she understands a lot about technology (in terms of software/programming/coding), she isn’t too great with machines. Some background for her; Velma is mixed Japanese/Mexican and Jewish. She’s also trans and a lesbian~

I knew I wanted Daphne to look really fashionable, but also in something simple and comfortable. I gave her a purple halter top/skirt with a leg-cut on one side, and loose lavender jeans. She almost never has pants in her main outfit, but I think it gives her a fun nostalgic look of the 60s and 70s. I moved her green scarf up to her hair, and gave her matching green earrings. I like the idea that because she’s a little clumsy (Danger-Prone-Daphne) she’s taken lots of athletic lessons to try and make up for it; she’s done ballet, gymnastics, Karate, boxing, archery, played different sports like soccer/basketball/baseball/tennis, swimming lessons, and equestrian classes. Basically, when she’s in “alert-mode”, she could probably handle just about anything… but when she’s not paying attention she tends to trip (though, she’s kinda of backwards-lucky by stumbling into clues this way). Daphne can speak several languages fluently, she’s got perfect pitch, is super sensitive to textures so she can recognize any material, and has a gift for being very charming and intuitive. Some background for her; her dad is Iranian, and her mom is Scottish. She’s also bi~

I always wanted to give Fred a blue jacket. I just think it suits him. He’s also got light-blue jeans, and a white long-sleeve shirt (with a red collar to replace the ascot haha). He’s got a little bit of a farm-boy vibe (hence the belt and work boots). He’s all about cars and other machines, a real  Mr. Fix-It, and he loves taking stuff apart to see how it works. As a result he’s pretty good at his other hobby besides mechanics… TRAPS. Fred also practices being an escape artist, so if he ever gets caught he’ll be able to get out of almost anything. Although he’s certainly not “stupid”, he has a tendency to be a bit oblivious and a little too headstrong. He’s got a heart if gold though, and everybody who knows him would agree that he’s endlessly kind. Some background for him; Fred’s parents went missing around when he younger, and so he’s had a few different foster families. He doesn’t get reunited with his folks until much later (learning more about his family, he finds out he’s mixed Italian/Norwegian). He’s also bi~

Shaggy doesn’t need much changing (if I altered too much, he just wouldn’t look like Shaggy anymore). I have him a white long-sleeved shirt under his classic green one, changed his brown pants into cargoes (all loose fitting, Shaggy likes it baggy), and gave him some black sneakers. He’s naturally still got long hair and a scruffy chin (plus some sideburns). Even though he’s a well known scardey-cat, Shaggy has a deep love for horror movies and fictional spooky stuff doesn’t seem to bother him. His various fears and phobias have actually made him a safety expert; not only does he usually carry a back-pack with a fully stocked first aid kit, he knows how rescue somebody who is drowning, all the safety procedures for different vehicles/aircraft, CPR, and survival tactics (he actually knows more medical facts than Velma). Despite being so thin and lanky, he is almost always eating, sometimes thinking with his stomach rather than his head. He’s always happy to share though, and he even cooks great meals for his friends (mindful of allergies and what-not). Some background for him; he’s Canadian First Nations and Jewish on his mother’s side. He’s also trans, bi and ace~

Scooby was maybe the most difficult to draw… he’s so iconic, and I wasn’t sure how to draw him in this style but still make him look like Scooby. I’m not sure if I succeeded, but I think the result isn’t too bad. Shaggy found Scoob as a pup, and they have been best friends ever since. Like Shaggy, Scooby loves to eat and hates to be afraid, but he’s only a coward when something threatens him; if a monster or villain is going to hurt one of his friends, Scooby always comes to their defense. People forget that he’s actually a very big strong dog because he’s usually so gentle and silly. Scoob knows all sorts of trick from the typical “sit/roll-over/shake” to more impressive stunts. Although he loves attention and praise, the best way to get him to do anything is to bribe him with a Scooby Snack! He’s a very smart animal, and the fact that he can communicate when he smells or hears something suspicious that people might miss is a real asset for solving mysteries. Like any good dog, Scooby is loyal and lovable~

Tzeentch

This one will be much less heavy than my prior Slaanesh discussion, I promise. So, to start, Tzeentch used to be my lowest ranked of the four main chaos gods. Because he has big "guy who thinks he's the smartest person in the room and makes sure y'all know it" energy. Which I found off-putting.

What I find more interesting about him isn't the "EXACTLY AS PLANNED" theme, but the constant and disruptive change. Wild mutation combined with raw and psychedelic magic is far more curious. It may be rather typical body horror, but I do enjoy a good eye-where-it-shouldn't-be or miscellaneous tentacle.

A lot of my appreciation for Tzeentch has come out of playing Total War: Warhammer 3. Not the specifics of mechanics or anything, but the themes and characters I have now been exposed to; most notably Kairos and Changeling.

Kairos: Transbird

Just putting it out there, those wings are 🏳️‍⚧️ flags. A two headed magic turkey that sees backward and forward through time while dropping absolutely criminal amounts of magic just... honestly sounds like it could be transition goals for people I know.

The Changeling: Doin' It For The Lulz

Less for "I'm so clever" and far more for "oh this'll fuck stuff up" trolling. Impersonation, infiltration, and full scale moving of whole cities. The changeling is almost more a devotee of Eris than Tzeentch.

So, purely for the comedic potential of screwing everything up, Tzeentch went up in my estimate when I saw the asymmetric trickster in action.

The loading screen Tzeentch quotes went hard. And the voices they got for Tzeentch characters are great. Maniacal cackling is evergreen. The sheer deranged glee those who "only serve the changer" are simply delightful. And the horrors rhyme appeals to my witch heart, love a good rhyming couplet.

So in all Tzeentch moved higher in my estimate because I love the brain-bending stuff, the constant fluctuations and changing appeals to my chaos-gremlin heart, and epic trolling of entrenched power. And frankly, I prefer the idea that some of the "playing 5D chess" stuff is actually imperfection on the part of Tzeentch causing (him? them? varies?) to trip over itself. After all, the chaos gods aren't generally held up as perfect beings, so it only makes sense that someone with their hands in so many pies is going to cross contaminate plans inadvertently. That is a feature, not a bug, of the character for me. Otherwise the faction could come off as insufferably smug. And being the god of conspiracies adds some relatability to me, because as I have joked before, I am apparently at least in part red coded:

you may notice that some of the naming conventions are different from each other. this is because the stick figures not created by Alan are from other sources and canonically don't have names, they're just referred to by their colors! the other ones, however, do

id love to explain the story behind them but honestly you can do that yourself if you watch AvA in its entirety. the entire playlist has about a 1h30m runtime at the time of writing and despite having zero dialogue it is still extremely easy to follow and the storytelling is Immaculate

on top of this, all of the stick figures have their own well-defined personalities and interests, especially the RGBYO (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange/The Second Coming) squad, whom the Animation Vs Minecraft series revolve around! red likes animals and is sort of the tank of the group, green enjoys building, music, and other creative stuff and prefers ranged weapons, Blue is an avid farmer and good cook and only fights when needed (but is good at hand to hand combat), Yellow is the group's technician- good at coding, commands, redstone, and who comes up with innovative new ways to fight (fishing rods, anyone?), and TSC is a general all-rounder when it comes to specific interests who is good at any type of fighting and really just needs a nap. theres so much love and detail and thought poured into the series and the production crew has gone from one guy to an entire team in recent years, it's incredible to watch, 10/10 please give the silly little stick figures a try

Void Termina gijinka redesign

woke up and felt like drawing on paper, i drew a zan, fucked up and then decided it was finally time to redesign my void.

i dont tend to use his gijinka very much, in fact i only drew him 3 times, the original, a slight redesign, and this one.

well i suposse i should show it already

honestly i really like it! :3

tho i used to like the other one too, now i think its abhorrent, so maybe i end up hating this one too overtime. i didnt want to clutter it with too many things so i tried to not go overboard, tho i did struggle as i did not want it to look to plain or simple, im thinking i might change some stuff, like the sleeves, wich i think are okay but they feel way too empty to me rn, but sometimes i just need to let the design grow on me. and i dunno, do something with his legs i guess, also if you are wondering why are they shaped like that, sometimes i prefer doing them like this, and other times i prefer for them to look more normal.

the mask thing had stuck with me for various months so i didnt want to discard it. the 3 lines under the eyes is something i do in all my drawings (unless i forget :p) but here i tried to make them longer, and in fact, im thinking of making them red, 3 in each eye, 6 in total, referencing zero, btw, i only did this sketch, but void's body has more markings like those and such.

the lines in the sleeves around the shoulders dont represent anything, i just added them so the sleeves werent so lacking, but the bar codes like lines at the end of them, are indeed, a reference to Zero two's boss fight's background, and the small oval shape thingyes are too, but instead a reference to the blood vessels in 02 wings. 6 on each sleeve, i thought of adding a 7th one that was more blu-ish (i know this is a sketch without colors) and diamond like, in reference to the titular crystal shards but it didnt look good so i scraped that.

the heart is something that was in the original design, but in a slightly different place, at the end i that downwards line (i dunno how to describe it) , basically, make it look like the heart spear, i saw lots of void gijinkas have heart spears somewhere and i wanted to include one too, and eventually did it like that. i tend to draw inspiration from other gijinkas a lot of the time, since i sometimes struggle with making designs, tho im trying to better at it, and remake some gijinkas so they dont resemble others' so much.

the thing next to the heart is from void termina's phase one, in his titan body, next to their shoulders, in fact, it looks very similar to the one's the three mage sisters wear in their attire's.

the pointy thing in their shoulders wasnt originally planned, but while drawing i accidantally made it pointy there and ended up liking the idea, and having it like a section so to say

i was going to have the hair have the patterns, but remembered this was more especifically void, the grey one (tho here things from all forms are mixed kinda) so his hair has the rainbow cracks, and i ended up using the weird swirly patterns in the clothes, they are really hard to draw but it feels rewarding when getting it right and ends up looking nice.

around the knees, where the clothes end, there are these feathers, purple more especifically, as i wanted to include the mane he has in phase one but i didnt know how due to how i was making the neck area, then, i thought around the shoulders but it didnt look good, before eventually setting on to add them at the end of their clothes.

before i ramble more and more about my void in general, im going to talk about the original gijinka

im not gonna complain that much about style, since i wasnt consistent and have gotten beter at drawing and honestly the eyes being so close togheter and taking up like 95% of the face is something i still accidentally do on ocassion but...

just talk about the design, in the remake, i tried making the references a bit more subtle, i think thats mainly my problem with the old gijinka, the references are way too straightforward.

its way too simple to me, yet has too much going on the sleeves, especially the left one god i dont like it, but at least i can support it, for now...the right arm is probably where the reference problem is easier to spot, having a literal drawing of a dark matter, and an eye, and oh yeah i guess dark nebula is there too but who cares about that dude.

honestly i dont know how to explain why i dislike the gijinka now (i used to kinda like it back then) that isnt basically repeating points. also it looks weird, i dunno why (aside from the eyes) but it does, tho mad props to 2022 me for drawing the patterns all over void's hair, it was so unnecessary but i appreciate her efforts.

Now, now, lets stop talking about, that, and talk about my void

i dont think it can be like, my characters interpretation, its more like an AU, but not quite, im not sure so just like, yeah im going to use au since my interpretation of how characters are in canon vs what i do with them, as in fics, drawings, things i think of them, etc differs, especially with void,

ok so, they are capable of shapeshifting, i mean, that kinda canon, but we'll just ignore whats canon or not. i mainly just choose that, aside from making him have and eye on his face from time to time, because i still do like long-haired void, so he sometimes just switches from a hairstyle that resembles kirby, to a longer one (because extremely long haired gods are soooooo)

when their angry, their hair becomes spikier, they can make their fingers longer, pointier, same with every limb they have. it can become more straight when sad, stuff like that, i also like thinking that it kinda looks like it is made of clouds, or like, perpetually under the sea, like, the hair is perpetually floating or moving around, never staying still for long, with small chunks separating and dissapearing like if they were smoke. his face can contort at will and more typical void stuff.

the original gijinka was focused more on the void termina from the story mode, the pink one, while the redesign was more on thinking about all forms he has (including the titan ones) and also after he got purged of negative emotions by kirby, so he sometimes tries to resemble him, hence the hair thing (in fact, the slight redesing i mentioned that was second, was just me making him more like kirby, shorter hair and stuff, basically the note that i had written in the og design) and sometimes i might just call him niru or nil, when refering more especifically to the post-ksa void, because i headcanon he reincarnates and basically gets adopted

sorry for rambling way too much about void, i love talking about this guy so much alongside fecto elfilis (i have way too much to say about the dude, i literally know almost all their attack names from memory)

and also for the lack of posting, tho winter break i gonna end soon and ill have to go back studying and shit, i dont want to.

They enjoy designing clothes and costumes so i think theyd have like a section of Normal Clothes, some of which theyve made themself, pretty casual but also somewhat formal (like their civilian outfit), and then theres a section just of costumes. Including their primary phantom thief ("phantom bleu") outfit !

1d) cappuccino. Dear godge. i think his closet doesnt even have clothes in it its just Junk or at least clothes he never wears. All the stuff on his floor is just various styles of shirts and pants and shit and he rummages around and finds whatever smells the Least like cigarettes and wears that. she has a TON of divorced dad shirts (or as she likes to call them Vacation shirts) which i think hed wear often, even just casually, but theres a shit ton of other random clothes. and probably like One Nice Suit thats in a ball in the corner next to his robe

1e) Langue . To be honest i think they just own a variety of clothes in the same color scheme as the suits they and their parents wear. like the red with the cyan accents. they also own a black suit for Fancy occassions and probably a dress for the same reason although they hardly ever wear it

1f) including truffle on here because. :3. She has a wide variety of clothes all custom made by chocolate bonbon !!! they are all fun elaborate dresses in an assortment of colors

2) langue probably. If they didnt win theyd start crying so everyone kind of lets them win/silly But like walnut langue and cappu would all be really competitive. Rogue is just having fun and almond is trying to keep everyone from being too competitive

It depends on how much they know ,,, if they find out ALL OF IT and how rogue isnt at all who they thought they were theyd be SHOCKED like Oh my god you went through all that and yet you still look like :3??? what the fuck. 4) I THINK SO . Probably has a coffee maker in his office since he makes so much of it although she doesnt have very fancy stuff ,,,, he kind of just makes sloppy cappuccinos that vary in quality and amount of ingredients every time for Multiple reasons. too busy working, doesnt care at this point to make it properly, too tired, perhaps a combination. hes probably just had a cup of coffee beans in milk before LOLL She much prefers the Good Stuff from coffee shops and orders a bunch at once and then just drinks the nasty ones when she runs out. very used to drinking lukewarm/straight up cold coffee. But i think she would offer it to almond yeah :] dont know how often he would accept considering the,,,, questionable quality

5a) HELPPP THIS IS SUCH A FUN QUESTIOn . For almond i think hed be shaking in his boots the whole time and have a heart attack and die at his first jumpscare. Do not let that paranoid old woman near the keyboard dear godge.

5b) WALNUT WOULD ALSO BE TERRIFIED but stubborn as fuck because she HAS to beat this thing. (she would pretend to not be scared but both her and almond have peed thwir pants /JOK) SHE WOULD ALSO BE SUPER INVESTED IN THE LORE And come up with her own theories

5c) roguefort,,, Honestly im not sure HXBDKFG i think theyd just be really confused rhe whole time and not get the hang of it. Theyre startled by the jumpscares, not exactly terrified, but they cant figure out the patterns and stuff very well

5d) cappuccino is Immune To The Horrors he would just stare at the screen with a blank face and probably fall asleep on the keyboard during night 3. It takes him an incredibly long time to finish but she does it for 8 hours straught and finishes in one day

5e) langue would be Easily startled and get EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED when they fail but theyd be stubborn and do it anyways

5f) bonus truffle again. she wouldnt understand that shes supposed to play the game because shes never played a video game before. also thinks all the scary animatronics are cute and just spends the whole time having someone open the cams for her so she can go "aww!!! what a sweet little bunny! so sweet!" and when they jumpscare her she thinks its a hug

6) taps chin. They get up at 6am (or earlier,) i imagine they spend at least 30 minutes in the shower, then another 30 doing their hair, their parents probably make them breakfast and coffee,,,, soo an hour and a half possibly ?

7) OH ABSOLUTELY. have you SEEN how big that thing is he is a WEAK OLD WOMAN who cant even lift a brick its probably breaking his back. I cannot tell you how many times hes tripped over that thing. it probably gets caught on a bunch of random objects too HVDSLBEKDBF

8) ABSOLUTELY. Theyve totally cut themself on sharp rocks and had a few extra rough falls ,,,, i have this headcanon for a spell that makes you feel the pain of an injury all at once for 12 hours and then after the huge spike of pain youre free until the spell wears off !! Healing magic in my fanon is pretty rare just as to not be overpowered so they use that spell to make it easy to escape and treat the wound later when theyre in a safe place. :] they also have a spell to get bloodstains out of clothing

Wuthering Waves: 1st Day Review

It's just going to be a simple review of what I like and what I don't like from my first day playing this game. Obviously, everything's going to be pretty subjective, so no need to be salty if I happen to dislike something you like.

= WHAT I LIKE =

Graphic and animation look pretty neat; I think HSR still looks better but I quite enjoy this one

Love the characters + NPC + enemy designs; I'm not saying it's super grand, but I find them easy on the eyes

As usual, I'm playing with JP dub because I love the voice actors and they don't disappoint so far

Found some mini-games and they're quite fun (e.g. Lion Dance flipping challenge, gliding/grappling challenge, raced against an old man in a dungeon)

Likewise, exploration mechanism feels pretty fun for the time being

Also love the music and sound works

Unexpectedly, I don't feel as dizzy as I thought I would be with the camera works so that's a good point, I guess

I can't yet say whether I like the equipment/upgrade/grinding mechanism because I'm still very early in the game. I'll observe this some more until I progress further.

Story hasn't shown anything interesting so far, I can't find anything that gets me hooked (this is an important aspect for me because I'm a story-heavy player); actually it's pretty much info dump up until this point

Subjectively-speaking, I prefer games with lots of handsome guys and obviously this game hasn't provided many of them since everyone you've met until this point is 90% female characters (I honestly won't last long if they keep throwing girls my way, so hopefully there will be more guys in the next update lol)

I'm not quite used to this kind of battle system; there are too many mechanisms and I can't read the tutorial/tips while fighting at the same time (I end up just hitting and dodging while spamming attacks and skills)

Exiting means automatically logging out unless you Alt+F4; who the hell think of this dumb idea

You can't use PlayStation Controller on PC unless you install DS4Windows or similar external software/driver, which is pretty dumb in my opinion because it means extra hassle

There's also no built-in Inverted Camera for the camera rotation; people ended up using some self-made codes on reddit or set it up manually using DS4Windows setting (like me), which is a lot of hassles

Voice-over is sometimes delayed, which is kinda annoying

I'm located in Indonesia and play in the Asia server instead of SEA. The ping was changing between yellow and red while I was playing but I didn't experience any lag whatsoever. There was one occasion in the first mini boss battle (under Jue's statue) where I lost connection for a few seconds, but that was all.

Anyway, will continue playing for now. Hopefully I will find stuffs that gets me hooked on this game for the long run.

So when you own a lot of stuff it is so so important to store it in the most organized way you can manage, because the [task burden] of finding the desired item needs to be low enough to keep you from giving up on finding your own things when you want them, because that makes them useless to you.

This is especially important for things like craft supplies and hardware. Put the same kinds of things together, in a closed, clearly labeled container, with some kind of internal partitioning by sub-category, as much as you possibly can.

Take as much of the burden of locating your possessions off Future You as you can; I know it feels like a tiresome outlay of effort in the present keeping you from dedicating the time to actual [activity], but once you make a habit of it it's very much a stitch-in-time-saves-nine that will make [activity] more accessible to you.

This doesn't mean you need to Buy Product, although some of the stuff that's sold for organizing can be very useful. I keep all my embroidery floss in a small wooden chest I bought at a tag sale, sorted by color family into little plastic baggies. So it's fairly trivial now to go in and see 'what reds do I have?' choose one.

Then I transfer the hanks I'm using for my current project into the transparent plastic box with a snap-on lid I got for one dollar from Michaels Crafts, where the embroidery needles live fulltime, and bundle just that into a basket or bag with the hoop and fabric, while the rest of the chest can go back in the closet until it's time to put the remainder away again. Maneuvering the box physically in and out of the closet becomes the hardest part of accessing the materials.

The ability to pick up and move a whole project at once is also very valuable for anyone without like, a whole designated Crafting Area in their space. And for people who do have that, but are always being impeded by their own clutter.

If you have a basket or tray or something you can stack all of a given project onto and whisk away to clear your worksurface at need, you'll be much more likely to actually commit to working on that project when you want to, without feeling burdened by the future opportunity cost of having to completely finish and/or abort progress on it if something else comes up.

Probably not everyone gets stuck on that, especially people who only work on one thing at a time, but I think there are enough people like me that giving yourself permission to use the 'sewing basket hack' is valuable. There are big downsides to burying yourself in stuff in the effort to keep it all near to hand and accessible, but there are also definite, meaningful costs to having to put everything away in its Own Place every time you're interrupted, especially if you have trouble with any part of executive function.

🐇 ⇢ do you prefer writing original characters, reader inserts, or a mix of both?

Egad I have never attempted a reader-insert in the contemporary style. Honestly, I can't stand them.

Writing in the second person is all well and good for textural reasons, but as a way to 1) compensate for the evidently dreadful imagination skills of the audience and 2) shield the writer from responsibility for their own writing choices, I consider the 'reader insert' to be an overall cowardly and limiting construct.

I would much rather see a fic that instructs me to understand myself as a four-foot-tall electric blue parrot than one that attempts to narrate a 'me' generic enough to be plausible to any potential reader; when the 'you' is a giant parrot with discernible preferences and goals it is, of course, an original character.

In fact, so is every reader insert, they're just usually terrible ones. Attempting to write an OC with no traits is so sad.

Anyway I'm fully capable of projecting myself onto a parrot if I want. Otoh I'm not shameless enough to publish old-fashioned self-insert fic, which is a different less craven stylistic approach to the same goal, which is only partly because I was trained on anti-OC backlash and mostly because my standards are such that the few attempts are either 1) plotless exercises in self-gratification which aren't worth finishing once the fun part of drafting the entertaining scene is done or 2) agonizingly honest. I don't feel like being quite that honest with the internet, ty.

I love character creation though so OCs good yes.

Like. Besides the obvious, given this is a fanfic ask game afaik? Uhm. Diana Wynne Jones' body of work; the way she structured the narratives of her children's novels so the inherent unreliability of any narrator was maximized and played a vital role in mediating between the story and the reader.

I am not naturally good at playing keep-away with information, but I recognize it as a vital writing skill because context is so vital to the experience of media, so I pay close attention to how this sort of sleight of hand is accomplished. I also really appreciated Jones' relative lack of talking down to her child audience.

Even More Everyone Lives AU Character Stuff

Honestly I had fun writing the last one so I'm doing it again. You probably won't need the previous character overview post to get this one but I'll put it here in case you want it.

Behold, Evan and the MCI kids all getting their own character stuff for this AU (sorry Jeremy Fitzgerald, Vanessa, and anyone else not mentioned here: I either have no idea how to fit you in the post-FNaF 6 story or I'm saving you for later)!

Evan

He's near completely blind, with his right eye missing and his left eye extremely blurry. Sometimes he has a bad day with his vision and can't see at all.

Technically, he's the second oldest in the main group of ghost kids (that being him, Charlie, and the MCI kids). Evan just looks on par with most of the other kids younger than him because he died at around the same age as them.

He's very upset he can't physically touch most things without phasing through them, poor little guy can't hug his plushies :(

Unlike the MCI kids, Evan prefers to move around outside of Golden Freddy/the old Fredbear animatronic. Ever since Charlie reminded him exactly what killed him, he doesn't like to be inside it. Plus it's way harder to teleport around without Cassidy there, so he's basically stuck in one place.

Him, Cassidy, and Fritz were (still technically are but Cassidy's not there) a three-kid friend group.

When Evan's finally at the house with Mike and the rest of the FNaF 6 gang, he's really confused because Elizabeth's greeting him by name. That's right, he completely forgot he had a sister. Evan immediately asked if she was adopted since she doesn't look like any of the family members he remembers.

The MCI Kids

Once again, there's a multi-character entry, so I'll color code it: pink for Susie, orange for Gabriel, red for Fritz, blue for Jeremy, and yellow for Cassidy.

Susie has/had a dog of course, but would never answer when asked which breed it was by the other children. The dog is a pitbull named Sprinkles, and she's actually really nice around kids. She just knows everyone's not going to react to it well.

She wasn't actually the first to gain control of her animatronic body, as everyone really just woke up at the same time. Susie was the first to die of the MCI though.

Gabriel is the only kid in the group not to ask what breed Susie's dog is, because she invited him over to meet Sprinkles. Sprinkles was very excited and tackled him so she could lick his face repeatedly.

He's Jeremy Fitzgerald's brother, not much to say other than that.

Fritz died while he was 9, putting him in third place of the oldest in the main ghost group. He thought he was in second until Charlie informed him that Evan died in 1983, not 1985, meaning he was actually older than him.

After Cassidy left, he became a lot more defensive of Evan. The other MCI kids were fine, but if anyone else came into the building he was watching them. This came to a head when Michael was checking out Golden Freddy while Evan was inside, and he got mauled by Foxy until Evan told him that was his brother. Luckily Mike has the molten soul metal on his side and recovered pretty quickly. Fritz was still a bit untrusting of Mike after ending up there (he does look like William again after all), but no one got hurt again after that.

Classic Bonnie gets his taste in puns from Jeremy, who's definitely a bit of a class clown. He made a ghost pun and Cassidy tried to beat his ass for it. (the same goes for the willingness to fight, basically the older animatronics gain sentience from being possessed and get little bits of personality from their ghost)

Jeremy and Gabriel didn't know each other before they died, but you wouldn't be able to tell (especially after years of them being friends).

Cassidy stuff mentioned in past posts: she was springlocked, is vocally mute as a ghost and talks with the glitchy floating text we all know and love.

Charlie actually waited for a few days after most of the murders happened because Cassidy wasn't dead yet. It wasn't a good situation for both of them, since a mercy killing by this point could be seen as hostility, but dying slowly like that isn't great either.

UCN of course happens, and that's where she is for a while after FNaF 6.

Do 1010 end up transing their gender after everything is settled in the FRAU?

Yes! They do! Not only do they trans their genders, they also get total makeovers to try and look as human as possible! Like with full silicone skin and other stuff that has been invented/developed in the cybernetic world. Actually that first drawing I made of a bunch of Blues had his later "human" design, or at least a first draft of the design.

They don't just change their looks and gender but also their names! I'll use their preferred pronouns to talk about them from this point on in the post, but otherwise I will keep using he/him when talking about them while employed in NSR since they identify as that during that time.

But when talking about their future selves/"human" selves I will use their preferred pronouns. (I will be interchanging their names depending on if I am talking about their past selves or future selves)

White chose the name Silver, as a way to connect to his color (they all did the color thing) and as a sort of reference to Neon (both elements). He kept using the pronouns he/him (unlike all other versions of him that use it/its or it/he). For the longest time he didn't really "believe" that someone could change their gender.

Yes, unfortunately, White was kinda transphobic because he had no idea what any of that stuff meant, was confused and angry, and even followed Eve's lead on how she treated Remi at times when she was angry. Thankfully he was taught more about how things are and learned to not be judgemental and a dick. He is AroAce and is unlabelled in the gender department.

Blue chose the name Sky and uses She/They pronouns, mainly She/Her. She started wearing sunglasses again for her eyes and chose to have very long hair. She also added purples to her color palette (because technically Blue put Purple's code into his own trying to save him but just ended up fusing their codes together. Blue has done a lot to fuck around with his code without Neon's knowledge).

They've been learning to embrace themself more and trying to make amends with everyone around them for all the mistakes they think they've made. They identify as nonbinary and pansexual.

Red went with Rosa and uses exclusively She/Her pronouns. She is probably the most like her OG counterpart except just a bit more shy/nervous. Her hair is also much longer and a bit wavier. She became the shortest out of the group and loves it because it allows her to hide away a bit more when she is overwhelmed.

She's a lesbian, like Zimelu and all other versions of her, and has tried dating other girls only for a lot of them to fall flat. She's been looking for a steady relationship but either gets rejected or dumped because of her awkwardness a lot (unfortunately she doesn't get with Celine because they moved away from her).

Yellow's full name is Sunshine but usually goes by Sunny. He goes by he/they pronouns and I think he is the tallest (Sky would have been the tallest but I doubt she'd actually have chosen that, most other verions of Blue/Purl end up the tallest though). He has stopped making AS MUCH trouble, still makes some though, and is bisexual.

They aren't looking for anything serious in a relationship, just messing around and experimenting. Identifies as a man, but still like using they/them pronouns a bunch and will wear feminine clothes at times (most versions of Yellow/Haym do not wear any fem clothes).

And finally Green chose the name Fern and sticks with he/him pronouns. Honestly he probably would even be okay with it/its pronouns if White hadn't made a huge bitchfit about them a few times. He doesn't really know what he is, or care to change that much. His hair is much shorter, kinda think it was shaved short and is about a month into growth. He also doesn't know his sexuality but it's most likely asexual and aromantic.

Honestly Fern still has a lot of healing to do before he is really going to be able to explore himself. Years of constant abuse, belittling, and forced shutdowns made him very depressed and inactive. So he is the least developed out of the group. The only thing that really gives him any joy is a small garden he keeps up with and sometimes takes naps in if it's nice out.

Umm hey, so this is in response to those pics of Chris Evans just shared on your blog, the ones where he is in India with a tika on his head ( that red dot, it’s tika, and it has become more ceremonious or rather a way to welcome tourists, especially foreigners when they visit us. This is especially in the Northern parts of India where Rishikesh is). Honestly no Indian, as far as the ones who live in India, including me, really mind when we see a foreigner donning our traditional attires or having white coded vacations here. The thing is they have their own ways of vacationing and we have ours. See, for example I have visited almost all of Rajasthan, have lived there, and one thing that I have noticed is, we are the ones mostly asking locals and local guides when visiting forts and such. Foreigners, mainly due to the language barrier prefer an automated guide, they are given headphones for that. So yeah, I have seen those photos of other celebrities when they come here. The thing is, mostly people I have met in India, my family, friends, we see a white or person of any other ethnicity wearing our clothes. We just go, hey good on them for trying, but they look a bit different, like in a wholesome funny way it’s said. So Indians are mostly pretty chill. And everyone talking about culture appropriation, it’s only a problem when they are bitchy about the stuff they don’t like in that culture. All cultures have had stuff which people wouldn’t find appropriate, but voracious hating won’t get anyone anywhere. What I am trying to say is until there is physical, verbal, video or audio proof of any kind of both of these people in mention themselves calling someone mean racist stuff, let’s keep it out of the discussion. Also regarding associating people with transphobic comments and racist demeanour, people do tend to ignore their partners’s questionable views which don’t directly affect them, when they are in the initial stages or heck viewing them with rose coloured glasses. It’s in the long haul where these things truly matter.

So here we are to talk about the Son of Satan, Daimon Hellstrom! If you’re looking for my first post about Hellstrom and Marvel Spotlight #12 then check out my Ghost Rider I post! If you remember, I really enjoyed Hellstrom’s first issue and I liked this one too. We get his origin where Satan disguised himself as a man (who suspiciously looked like Namor to me) and “fell in love” with Daimon’s mother. We get a brief look at baby Satana (I did read her stories when I checked out the early Vampire Tales stuff. She’s cool and I want more of her). Daimon discovers he has fire powers like his father and he’s able to take his trident in their confrontation. I love how this issue begins with Daimon wrecking demons and throwing them in pits of fire. Although it’s hard to place him whether he’s a hero or villain currently. Yes, he wants to destroy his father but we’ve seen that he doesn’t really give a shit about helping people. Well as the Son of Satan alter ego he doesn’t seem to care but when he’s Daimon, he does help people.

I gotta say that the design for Satan where he looks like the Human Torch with wings and horns is stupid. I get that the Comics Code Authority was very strict about demons and Satan but this design is terrible. I thought maybe in previous appearances they were just trying to hide him but it turns out he just looks like that. I guess I prefer the red satyr traditional design for Satan but whatever. Also isn’t Mephisto connected to this somehow? I’m so confused as to why he hasn’t popped up in any of these comics so far. So yeah I dug a lot of this origin and really, I just want more of his sister Satana. This was fun stuff and honestly I like Friedrich on this comic more than his Ghost Rider stuff. Things I Think Are True about the Ratgrinders from the Bad Kids Backstories, bc lets face it, they're mirrors of each other:

Lucy Frostblade: Siblings, brothers. Feels like a middle child and not the eldest, but her having brothers is important to me. Whole family is religious. They all worship Ruvina. Solidly middle class. While the Frostblades used to be royalty/noble, they aren't anymore. And they don't act like it. Sapphic. Need I say more? Actually, I'm thinking Biromantic and the Ace-Spectrum, instead of being a full-blown lesbian, but still. She was always considered prodigious in her Clerical studies and her interpretation of their religion. Extremely empathatic. Finds herself wanting to help everyone.

Ivy Embra: Family is from Fallinel, like Fabian's mom is. But they're not as well off as the Seacasters are, nor as important as the Lomeneldas. They did get their money through dubious means and are new money Parents didn't really show their affection around the house and are almost never seen together. Though, they are both alive, as opposed to Fabian's parents. Ivy's mom has a lover that lives in the garage /j. Actually it's the pool house and he's no where near as pathetic as Gilear, but still The only children raised by their parents right now. There are jokes of Bill having countless of bastard children running around and I think Ivy's dad has a second family. Was semi-forced to go down the archery path of her mother. Ivy's mom was a pageant girlie and really good at archery (her like, special skill) and that's why Ivy chose that as a fighter. Has complicated feelings about her parents and doesn't see herself able to rely on them other than monetarily.

Oisin Hakinvar: Rich. Stupid rich. Old money rich. Has siblings, more than Adaine. Had to attend a bunch of events for his family, even though he was the "black sheep" for wizardry Originally born in the Red Waste and moved to Solace bc of parents

terrible relationship with his siblings. always pitted against each other and can never really live up to them, because he chose wizardry instead of sorcery. didn't have many friends until aguefort. mostly bc of being a standoffish dragonborn, even as a child, but still. kinda friendless until aguefort.

Ruben Hopclap: Divorced parents. lives w/ dad. he's practically never around tho. Mom remarried/is about to remarry & has another, much younger kid. has complicated feelings about this kid unlike Fig, but it happened when he was younger braces kids. both fig and ruben. fig has her younger imo. fairly popular in middle school. never in the same circles, but both were well liked, friendly people. fig just went through her alt phase two year earlier

Mary-Ann Skuttle: artificer parents grew up near little branch actually, closer to where a bunch of other kobolds lived. didn't have many friends, but honestly, didn't care unlike gorgug parents were confused about her wanting to be a barbarian, until they realized she was really good at it and were immensely supportive extremely sex-positive parents. the Skuttles have their own sex binder. when the thistlesprings met the skuttles, they compared notes

Kipperlily Copperkettle: Both need therapy /j. different reasons obviously, but both need it. both had halfling babysitters that went to aguefort. riz's was just the one that got kidnapped :/ instantly knew she wanted to be a rogue. there was nothing else for her to be. prefers Rogue stuff to romance. tho i dont see her on the aro/ace spectrum like Riz. she just doesn't need the distraction

Buddy Dawn: Helioic. Easy enough Has siblings. probably too many bc he's so mormon coded grew up in the church and always knew of his destiny, even if kristen's was more important travelled often on mission trips prefers not living with his parents, even if he feels more guilty for saying that. he lives w/ bobby in order to engross himself into clericdom and it gives him freedom. queer.

My ex-partner actually did have a lot of influence on how I designed my characters in games, because I'd get ignored or ghosted in regards to the hobby entirely if I didn't make a character that was hyper-feminine / conventionally attractive enough. Which is true of my actual appearance as well, I'm loathe to admit in hindsight.

As while he'd never say it to my face, because something like that would have garnered an immediate breakup, the manipulation was still there, even if it was subtle. If someone is only ever complemented or praised on things they dislike (or even hate) doing, and brushed aside or put down for things they like or makes them feel comfortable, it messes with their head and can often lead them to subconsciously adjusting their behavior. Even if it ultimately makes them more unhappy in the end. This is especially true if the coercion is coming from a long-term romantic partner, or only starts happening multiple years into an established relationship like mine did (romantic or platonic). Heck, he many not have even fully realized he was doing it, because nobody else in his life checked him on these kinds of behaviors. Meaning any observation I made towards my treatment always got drowned out by everyone else in his life calling it "normal". (Parents, co-workers, his friends, media, etc.)

So if you suddenly realize I'm making a lot more masculine, feral, and "scrunkly" OC's for my playthroughs as of late, that's just me going back to my own preferences, rather than taking any of his into account.

My super-scaley, short-haired, masc-coded Final Fantasy 14 character was the first one I made after he left. Almost out of retaliation, really. As I had to discard the old character with hundreds of hours on the account, that I created specifically to play with him, to even clear up the name slot again. Even though I'd already finished all job quests and most of ARR. (Also yes, I know I could have just used a potion of fantasia, but the old character felt tainted at that point).

Prior to that, we were actually supposed to go through the game together, but at that point he was making almost zero time for me. And then one of the few times we did meet up in-game to do stuff, was when I discovered he was cheating. As not only did he invite his most-current affair partner along (which would later lead me down a rabbit hole to finally discovering the others), but she understood the whole cheating dynamic long before I did, and so like a cat who was proud of eating the family canary, she was downright supercilious and haughty towards me about it behind his back. (To this day, I still don't think he knows how I found out. Fun fact, people who willingly have an affair with cheaters tend not to be good people in other aspects of life either lmao.)

Worth noting too, this character I use now is based on an OC I used to use for everything prior to even meeting him. Way back since like 2004 (middle school), at least. So it's not just an amalgamation of "picking traits he hates". It's more me than it is 'anti-him'. It's just that being myself by default, sadly, fits that criteria. Which honestly should have been a red flag much sooner. But it's hard to see those behaviors for what they are, when they're coming from a person you used to trust, heart and soul, for over a decade.

And I'm doing the same of my appearance in real life now as well. I've already started to focus a lot more on working out, weight training, and gaining visible muscle-mass back. And I've started to wear my old, more practical/masculine styles of clothes. Heck, some of the more "dainty" outfits don't fit my arms or shoulders anymore already, which is a good sign. I used to be absolutely ripped in high school, and I want to regain some semblance of that physique again. (My current form isn't unhealthy, but it's not as strong as I want to be either).

So for anyone who comments thinking I'm just making "mistakes" in character creators for what traits I choose - no, I'm not. Let people be in charge of their own appearance, and don't attempt to re-style someone to fit your preferences. If it's such a big deal to you, then find someone who already enjoys being in that form to begin with. On top of that, because I rarely go into detail about my sex/gender, especially in this political climate, and because those things shouldn't be necessary to determine whether or not you like or agree with someone on a non-related topic, like hobbies, there's a really good chance people have already made some incorrect assumptions to begin with.

I don't mind strangers who barely know me assuming one way or the other, as long as they're polite about it. And I don't like going into full detail online. But what I can't tolerate is people projecting their own insecurities, or trying to persuade me into becoming their version of head-cannon, in order to make themselves feel more comfortable. No matter who you meet in life, always remember to address them as a human being. Don't forget etiquette just because someone might not tick all the check marks of your initial assessment of them.

TL;DR: Gonna start being gayer and put up with less shit on main.

I don't really have one favorite but the list goes, and not in any order,

I'm most defiantly a coffee person, I've never had good tea

I'm a huge night owl, I hate breathing when I open my eyes and I will fight anyone so mornings are just meh

And a kind of food I could eat everyday is Chinese food oh my god its to die for!! And as basic as is a certain food I would eat is strawberry shortcake (fun fact my perfume is Strawberry Pound Cake from bath & body works)
