morgan and elle's friendship is so severely underrated and i wish we'd gotten more of them. they go on vacation together! there are also some lines in the first episode that, at least to me, imply that they knew eachother before. morgan is introduced talking to/quizzing trainees, so that seems like the most likely way, but. i don't know. i love them and i would have been curious to see how it would have been elaborated upon had lola glaudini stayed on.

More k-dramas y'all should watch

So, at the end of 2017, I created a post going through my favourite dramas of all time. Obviously, I have watched more dramas since then so I have a few more dramas that everyone needs to watch!!

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon

This is an obvious one, so if you haven't watched it, have you been living under a rock?? When I first heard of it just before it came out, I thought it was going to be a rip off of weightlifting fairy Kim bok joo. But boy, was I wrong!! This drama has the perfect amount of romance, comedy, thriller and crime, so it is a good all rounder drama!! The whole cast (not just the leads) had amazing chemistry. The only flaw with this drama is that it does queerbait a little. I wish they either didn't add it in the story or fully went with that the main lead is Bi.

The story surrounds a girl with superhuman strength who wants to be a video game designer. She has always hid her strength due to fear if hurting others and losing her power. She in a unrequited love with her childhood friend who is now a police officer. She then crosses the path of a CEO of a video game company and her starts to become more chaotic. With a serial killer on the loose, Do Bong Soon needs to decide if she will keep a low profile or use her powers for the better good while also falling in love on the way.

While You Were Sleeping

Again, an obvious one, but it has to be watched!! Like strong woman, I was a little apprehensive of this one. Mainly because I hadn't heard good things about Suzy's acting before this came out. But it really surprised me and I really loved it! I'm a sucker for anything crime related, so with a really cute love story as well, it was amazing!! It has really good chemistry and likable characters. The second male lead is also amazing!! I usually don't get second male lead syndrome, but damn I felt it even though I also really loved the main lead. I can't really find any faults with it.

The story surrounds two people who can see the future through dreaming. This includes good and bad things. When the female reporter about dying while on the job, she quite her job to try and changes her fate. A prosecuter move across the street from her, initially they do not get on and their bond starts to grow. Together, they use both of their skills and their power to help change the future and solve crimes along the way. They also soon realise that this is not the first time they have crossed paths.

Psychopath Diary

I cannot recommend this drama enough!! Honestly, it is so underrated!!! Yoon Shi Yoon's performance is incredible, he really embodies the role here. It is so funny, and sweet. You also see a serial killer low key but high key fall in love with the male lead, so there is major gay vibes. The only issue I have with it is, I wish there was a little romance involved. But it is a not a major want.

The story surrounds a pushover who is working at a stocks company. After a major issue arises, he becomes the Scapegoat of the company and is being blamed for it, even though he tried to prevent it. Due to this, he decides that he will end his life. On the way to do this, he witnesses a murder and accidentally picks up the serial killer's diary. While trying to escape, he gets hit by a car and gets amnesia. When he wakes up and reads the diary, he believes that he is the serial killer.

Honestly, please watch this drama, it is so so so funny, the chemistry of the whole cast is incredible. It also possibly has one of my favourite villians in any drama.

Your Honor / Dear Judge

Yes, I am a simp Yoon Shi Yoon. He is just so good and thus role just confirms it! His acting is incredible, king of the double roles! He plays twins and you really tell when either pop up on screen which one he is. This is a really wholesome drama that makes you cry. It has some really sweet moments in it, the leads have such good chemistry. This only issues with this one is that the ending felt rushed. I hate that the TV company changed it from 20 eps to 16 eps.

The story follows a set of twins. Twin A is a top judge in Korea, who is incredibly smart and is living a rich life. Twin B is a criminal who has been screwed over multiple times by the justice system and Twin A. Their mother always sides with A and will tell B not to bother him. When A goes missing, B goes undercover and takes his brothers place. He soon learns about the corrupt world of the court system and his brother. B meets a law student who is meant to be shadowing A. Like B, she has also been affected by the corrupt system and is wanting to be a judge to convict those who have wronged her. Together they fight the system while also falling in love.

Because This is Our First Life

This is a slice of life drama so will have some heavy moments in it. But on the whole, it is just so lovely and cute. The acting is incredible, they really take on the role. It also has one of the best female friendships which is not toxic, they all genuinely care for eachother and want eachother to achieve their dreams. It also has some true badass moments in it as well! I feel like all slice of life dramas have this, but it does have some frustrating moments where the characters are almost purposely making their life's difficult

The story focuses on a woman who is a drama script writer. Due to her patriarchal family who always favour her brother and being let down by her crush, she wants to move out. She ends up moving in with a friend of a friend of a friend. It is to her surprise that the person who she is moving in with is a man who is very much stuck in his own ways and likes to stick to routine. Due to their own desires to be on their own, they decide to get married to relieve the pressure that their families are giving them. This (of course) causes issues and both have to learn about their new feelings for eachother while trying to get through the struggles of life.

Thirty but Seventeen

This drama is the definition of wholesome and cute. I feel that while I was watching it, it went by so quickly and I always had a smile on my face. The romance is so cute and lovely and you could tell they really cared about eachother. The side characters were also amazing and sweet. Honestly, the acting is incredible. The female lead does an amazing job.

The story follows woman who as a child was involved in a bus accident and fell into a coma. She wakes up over ten years later and learns that her family have stopped coming to see her. While on the search for her family, she resides with a man and his brother who are now living in her old family home. The two soon learn that there are more connected than they thought. With the man trying to push her away, the more his feelings grow for her.

Introverted Boss

This is a revenge to love story. It on the whole is a really cute drama where you get to see the leads grow for the better. The acting is incredible and you really fall in love with the leads and the support cast (except for the second lead). It is not a perfect drama, but it is a really easy watch with an interesting story.

The female lead is a stage actress who quits her job to work at a marketing firm. This firm happens to be where her sister used to work. She is out to get revenge against the CEO of the company who she blames for her sister's death. She learns that the CEO is extremely introverted and becomes confused by how he was responsible for her sister's death. As the story goes by, she becomes more intrigued by him and focuses less on revenge and more on helping him open up.

Ahhhhh, how do express my love for this one!! It is just amazing!! The story was so well thought out and the actors did a fantastic job. It was so satisfying to watch, I wanted to be a member of the mafia lol. The villians were also incredible, like I just love this drama so much. Like Your Honor, the only issue with this one is that the ending felt rushed.

The story surrounds a Korean man who was adopted into an Italian family and became the consiglerie of the mafia. After an issue with his adoptive family, he travels back to Korea in search an insane amount of gold bars which happens to be underneath an unsuspecting block of flats. He then gets involved with a major legal court case with a pharmaceutical company. As he delves deeper into the case, dark secrets start to get revealed.

Can’t not hear “Tennessee valley authority” every time they say TVA

The best emotional Loki scene that really landed was the infinity stones in a desk drawer - just showing how completely irrelevant the power Loki chased was

I wondered if that 2050s Alabama getting wrecked by a mega hurricane, everyone huddled in that future!walmart dying in an apocalypse (it’s compared to Pompeii); was meant as the pointed commentary on Southern states doing little to nothing in the face of climate change wiping towns off the map. (Lmao no, the show is made by the mouse!). I found it the most realistic bit of the show

Hmm the show seems to be facing the struggle all long running large comic franchises do: trying to have character development arcs within a show and it fit with stuff from years and years ago all handled by different writers. So it’s like Loki isn’t technically post Ragnorak Loki but show is kind of acting like he thematically is?

Really like Mobius and Hunter B-15, on ep 4 and Loki emotional scene aren’t landing for for me but the humor does

Kid!lokis cold blooded willingness to kill was fun to watch

I didn’t expect by episode 4 to be wondering “what’s the fandoms take on doctor/doctor pairing in doctor who” just because it feels like similar to using a shipping pairing as really really thematic exploration of the self

I was convinced by gifs of older magician!Loki to watch the show, he wasn’t onscreen long but he was a delight the whole time

He who remains is a good end of show reveal for “man behind the curtain” with his gambit “You may hate the dictator but something far worse will fill the void”. I enjoyed all the conversations in those scenes, and found the knife fight boring in comparison (a surprise for me). I’ve seen it compared to Neo meeting God in the Matrix movie, and I think it’s a good comparison (I really like the Matrix movie)

His response to “u treated real people’s lives as a game”, of “murderer! Hypocrite! Grow up we’re all villians here!” Had me 👏 clapping yes! No one in that room has the moral highground

I spent a lot of time wondering how much of the sets and props were just CGI outsourced, and it felt like a lot

The Sylvie betrayel wasn’t unexpected, but like it honestly isn’t that bad. More like Loki what did u expect, her goals and motivation never changed, rather than sudden and surprising

I honestly found the Slyvie/Loki romance kind of boring. Maybe it was that they leaned more on the themes of Loki’s trustworthiness or can a person change vs like interpersonal chemistry. Their get to know eachother journey in ep 3 just didn’t do it for me. If Slyvie had betrayed Loki for personal gain than over a moral point idk if that would have made me like her more, but it just might have

What’s that post where it was like 3 different production leads were on different pages as far as the Sylvie plotline? That but kinda for the whole show with character arcs and trying to convey themes

After idle scrolling I’m totally keeping to only looking at stuff on twitter/tumbr from peoples whose opinion I already care about. People talking about the show as some big bit of queer gender or sexuality representation, and I’m like lmao, WHERE? Russel t Davies was absolutely right to blast that one line in so 3 as being feeble, I missed it and had to go look it up and rewind again

Overall verdict: fun show to watch on a few days of painkillers vs over 2 months. Owen Wilson especially and the rest of the cast besides Loki and Slyvie were great to watch, but I don’t think I’ll watch it again. Not sure if it’s MCU burnout that I found myself bored by Loki himself, or that I went in with bar on the ground for payoff for the ending and that’s what happened, it’s a big sequel hook for s2. The fanfic I’m sure will be fun

I’m down for anything with dear Oswald- his chaotic energy is a joy to watch, especially when it’s messing with other character such as Edward and Jim.

Scheming Minor

I am going to say something different in lieu of semantics. Technically in a sense when you get to the details they really are one of the few villain pairings portrayed in a “healthy” relationship in the Batman fandom. They progress, accept and move on; never stagnating. I included the healthy relationship chart to prove a point. Each one of those slices can be seen over the course of Riddler and Penguin’s relationship in Gotham– more so when we reach season 5. Their entire journey is about respect. Adding one more thing – Riddler has traditionally been coded as queer and flits with tentative bisexuality, meanwhile Penguin is known as a womanizer but has rare moments of ’what if’ regarding men. Gothamis one of the few Batman shows that follows through with M/M content.

They are both extreme individuals, but they fit together perfectly. Both are complex characters that went through life unaccepted by everyone which shaped their desire for more and their paths to becoming supervillains, so when they met it was the first time they found their equal and were accepted by someone. Their paths have been intertwined ever since, and whether they’re together or at odds, they’re always the most significant person in each other’s lives. But even though they ended up appearing together, we didn’t actually see them get “officially” together. Their story has yet to come to a close.

Riz || Professional Mr.Penn promoter

A very complex relationship that cannot be concluded in a spawn of a cut off season like it was. They have had a long journey and a perhaps even longer one before them. Their lowest and best have been shared together and they’re the one person who understand the other fully.

M/M relationships in media and tvshows especially is a rare breed. Even more is the concept of the big chance to make two comic characters and made an entirely new spin on them by being brave enough to make them queer, Oswald perhaps within the asexual spectrum at that. Ed as a tormented, abused soul who struggles with his own identiy and perhaps sexuality.

There is really so much to say, which is exactly why there need to be more to tell the rest of the story.

While Ed fights with the dichotomy within himself, he’s always felt the most whole when he’s been all-encompassed by Oswald’s world and care. Oswald found compassion and acceptance for all the parts that Ed thought were not loved. They are twin souls that deserve a longer story.There’s always been a complexity to both of them, and they understand the extremes that have made them into the people they are. There is no desire to change the other, only bring out the best in one another and a comfort shared that’s so important.

I feel as though they have stories that extend beyond what Gothamwas able to show through their 5 seasons. Especially with the 5th season being half of its normal length. They mean so much to me, and so many others, and I would love to see even more of them (1/2)

(2/2) and to be able to see Gotham’s depiction of Ed’s backstory, an explanation for the whole Isabella fiasco (like how is she even possible) and a plot line where Ed saves Oswald. We haven’t had any of those since s2/early s3 and I need that in my life. I miss them so much.

Not only off the charts chemistry, but near similar backgrounds also. Both Ed & Oswald were abandoned by their parents, and had to fight the world their whole lives. Then brought them together and they’ve been unstoppable ever since.

Because they have the best character development and bond I’ve ever seen on a show! They both truly have no one but eachother. For villains where it’s rare to see compassion and love, these two have it for each other and it’s so wholesome and sweet.

Nygmobblepot truly is such an interesting ship. As singular characters they are great, but together, they shine. They’re complex, damaged characters and take comfort in each other. Their journey is a long, painful one, but they deserve and compliment each other. It makes sense.

Nygmobblepot have been through so much together, and besides how revolutionary and amazing it would be for a show based on two previously heterosexual characters in a homosexual relationship, they simply work amazingly together.

Reactions and Feelings for 2x05

OK... HERE COMES MY FEELS.

Holy cow, y’all. I said this last week too, but this episode was incredible!! It was tragic, it was moving, it was tense. I know this episode was supposed to “break the mold” of the season and signify the midpoint, and yeah... it did! There are so many things to unpack here, so buckle up. This might get long. 

Obviously, MAJOR spoilers inside. Enter at your own risk. 

First off, the casting for young JFK blew me away. The accent was spot on and that was cool and all, but his acting was amazing!! He was adorable and I love the trope of bringing someone from the past into the future. They are always so much fun to watch them react to technology and culture. There were two times during the episode that my heart tore for him. The first time was when Kayla was telling him about his family’s curse and hit fate. The second when we asked if he was a good president. Yeah, I teared up at the second one, especially when Lucy said he was one of the best. It was so heartfelt and moving. 

Mission wise, this was SO cool. While I really wish we could have gotten a few glimpses of the boys trip and the drama and funniness that would inevitably ensue, I am happy that the episode stayed mainly in the present. This made the plot of the episode run very smoothly and focus more on the Lucy of it all. Along with other characters that don't usually get a lot of screen time. Which made me happy because I am always happy with more of those type of scenes.

OK, NOW FOR MORE FEELS. 

Let’s start things off with Jessica, because she was easily one of the biggest pivotal characters for this episode. I don’t mean “case-breaking-saving-the-day” pivotal, but plot line wise she turned everything around. 

Before I go on, I would like to say that I absolutely love her. She has spunk. She is funny and friendly. Honestly, just a really likable character. I would love to say that I hate her and just want her to leave right now and let Lyatt sail into canon bay, but I can’t say that. I see the chemistry that Jessica has with Wyatt. They were married and obviously have a history... that can not just be thrown aside. They play well off each other. 

Not only does she relate well to Wyatt, but she also seems to like Lucy as well. Even when Lucy is at her most awkward point, she tries to befriend her and comfort her when she is not feeling well. She actually puts effort into trying to get to know her and what she does/did for a living. Can I just say that Lucy handled that situation so well?? She could very easily be a bitch to her, but instead she talked with her and handled it with grace. I am LOVING this friendship that is blossoming. Not to mention the multiple times that they speak up for one another and show mutual respect. 

Next on my list: Jiya. Everyone with a brain and at least 1 IQ point loves Jiya because she is just so pure and smart. This episode is no different. If anything, her pureness escalates exponentially and we FINALLY get to see Jiya and Lucy getting a little closer. Jiya taking take of Lucy and talking to her about the whole thing with Wyatt, not judging her at all, was such a great moment for those two (it also confirmed my theory that Rufus told Jiya about it mwahahaha). It’s so important for Lucy to have someone to talk to about all of this and I am glad that she is opening up to Jiya. 

Also, Jiya is super smart and I loved her loop theory, even if I don’t 100% understand it... I approve. 

Speaking of people who love and care for Lucy, let’s talk about Denise because this was a HUGE episode for her. For one, I am enjoying her stepping into the protective and caring ‘bunker mom’ role. She really does care for the team and wants the best for them. The fact that Rittenhouse has the nerve to come after her... OH I AM MAD. Carol is a grade A piece of crap of a person and a mother. Yes, it appears that she does actually care for Lucy and her well being, but in her twisted mind Rittenhouse completing its goal is the best to her. 

I am super concerned for what this means for Denise’s family. It is longer safe for them to live in their house. I have a feeling that we will see them coming to live in the ever growing bunker. 

Carol may be a piece of actual trash human being and mother, but Denise is the exact opposite. The scene with Lucy and Denise in the bunker KILLED me. I was crying like a baby when she told Lucy that if she were her daughter, she would be so proud of her. That line sucker punched me in the gut and had me in tears. What a moving line! I love one (1) bunker mom. 

Next up: Lucy. Abigail Spencer is yet again reminding us that she is amazing. The depth of character we get to see in Lucy this episode is beautiful. We get to see her have emotions. She snaps several times mainly at Wyatt, not in a hurtful way, but in a way that expresses her feelings and reminds him how awkward of a position this is for her. I am so happy that the writers are letting her have completely rational conflicting emotions and Abigail portrays them perfectly. Despite her feelings for Wyatt, she knows that getting his wife back was the driving force for him and she wants him to be truly happy. If that is not true love showing from Lucy, I don’t know what is. It’s the ultimate sacrifice. My heart hurts. Someone bake Lucy some cookies and give her a giant hug please. 

Now here comes the part that my shipper heart was physically torn from my body, crumbled in a million pieces, then run over by a truck. The last five minutes of the episode were PERFECT. Do I wish Lyatt was happy and together and everything was beautiful? Well, duh. But am so so so happy they addressed the fact that they were a thing, things did happen, and that the feelings involved in the thing were and absolutely mutual. THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY TO DO THIS. ALL OTHER SHOWS TAKE NOTE. Also, the call back to Bonnie and Clyde “Babydoll and Shweetheart” was breathtakingly beautiful. I totally believe that the callback was a giant sign from the writers that they have not forgotten about the Lucy and Wyatt of it all. After watching it again, I noticed that the facial expressions are similar to the season one episode. Yeah, the one where Wyatt realized he had feelings (don’t @ me on this, he knew it right then and there). I know Wyatt loved his wife and is trying to spark the relationship again with her. I support that. However, I think we will see that Wyatt and Jessica’s feelings for a second chance will change soon. 

Speaking a relationships that are changing. Can we talk about Flynn and Lucy?? The last scene where they are just silently there for eachother was awesome. Now, you may have figured this out by now, but I don’t ship these two romantically. I see them a more of a brother/sister dynamic. I love that these two are getting closer. 

So yeah, Lucy’s family might suck. BUT she has a new family that loves her and I think that that is beautiful.

Speculations: 

1) Flynn and Lucy are related (maybe brother and sister?). 

2) Jessica and Wyatt will mutually split ways sooner rather than later in the season, but she will stay in the bunker.

3) Jessica and Lucy will become friends. 

4) Jessica and Flynn will become friends???

5) Denise’s family will come to stay at the bunker. 

6) Jiya will have a major breakthrough soon in her health. 

7) Mama Rittenhouse will have a redemption arc towards the end of the season.

@alluras-castle I'm not super into Keitor, but I like it as a ship because I feel like they have many things in common and could play off of each other very well (whether with humorous results, angsty, or simply entertaining)!

@paxgalra I mildly ship Keitor because of what they have in common--their incredible competence paired with their sense of worthlessness. They see those qualities in the other, and respect the other deeply--and end up respecting themselves more in the process, realizing they have worth. It's healing for both of them. If there's a romantic aspect, that's cool too becuase they're both pretty Galra swordbois, but the core of the idea is that their friendship improves their lives. Anonymous: So I saw your post about why people liked Keitor so here you go. I honestly just love the chemistry they could have together. Both of them fight for what they believe in strongly, and and don't give up easily. Both of them were thrust into being a leader, and later on cast out by the people/place they called home. Keith left Voltron, joining the BOM(he seemed more comfortable with them almost)Thus he might trust Lotor more than the others. I just hope they get along in season 5!

@goddessasteria I ship platonic Keitor because I feel they would have a lots in common if they would know each other ( and the end of season 4 kinda make this possible ) If they would start to look at the things they have in common , I think they would become good friends. Both with parents issues if I can call them like that. Both very good sword fighters , I can see them have a training session from time to time. Lotor will be very supportive with Keith about his Galra side and probably will help him to find more about his family. Also Keith will help him understand more about human culture. And this are the reasons I ship platonic Keitor. I hope I helped you.

Me: I’m more of a platonic Keitor shipper?? I’m all for the idea of them relating to one another since they are both part Galra and are similarly skilled in terms of combat. I guess Keith could learn from Lotor about being Galra and just having another person to talk to. Lotor can learn about those emotional connections you have with people. Just seeing the whole voltron team, specifically Keith who comes off as a “lone wolf,” work together and supporting one another may melt some of his stone cold heart lol. I honestly just want everybody to be happy. Give me the respect, characterization, and development Keith and Lotor need.

Usually you get along with people. You’re an outgoing, laid back, strong-willed woman who sees what she wants and goes and gets it. You served a long amount of year in the United States Army and if you wanted to, you could write millions of pages of your detailed experiences being a soldier. 

You meet new people all the time, always smiling and shaking hands while engaging in small talk about your various accomplishments as a woman in a position of power. So yeah, you get along with people. Usually. 

When you met Bellamy Blake, you had an open mind. Sure, big time movie stars like him are stereotyped as arrogant, self-obsessed, drunkards but you decided to eradicate that image from your head. 

This was a brand new opportunity that had been given to you. You were going to be starring alongside a well-known, award-winning actor about a movie about your life. Well… it wasn’t exactly about your life.

 It’s based on your experiences. In reality, throughout your life there was never a manly, saviour, boy who was there to sweep you off your feet. There was always you, your sister hard work, and dedication who was your best friend. There was no man. And good, because you didn’t need one.

However, in Hollywood things work a bit different. And everyone knows that sex sells. So when writing the script and plotting the film, it was decided that if people were going to finally choose a female who saves the day, there needs to be a love interest. Despite your suggestions to make the movie version of you gay, they decided to cast a male instead of a female.

Sure you were bummed out that the opportunity to finally give the LGBT+ community the representation that they need, you guess you were fine with the decision. Plus, they’re not even using your actual name for the character based off you. You think that both girls and guys are great so having either as a love interest didn’t bother you at all. 

And you were actually excited to meet Bellamy Blake. Though he wasn’t a girl, he’s a person of colour. He’s of Filipino descent and this representation counts too especially with how times are changing. So, on monday morning it was finally your first day on set. You were scheduled to meet the cast and all the crew behind the screen.

Bellamy was one of the last people you got to meet. Usually you would have to do a few scenes together before they cast him but apparently the casting director believed that the chemistry between the two of you would be fine. 

He sees you from afar and he pauses slightly. He knows who you are, the girl he’s going to be working with for the next eight months. For a few seconds, Bellamy just watches you smiling and talking to the director and his assistant. 

You sort of light up the room with that smile of yours but Bellamy tears his eyes away. He’s not really sure why he was so hung up on looking at you in the first place, he’s probably just tired from having such a long flight last night.

Bellamy decides to walk up to you, sporting a grin the people around you excuse themselves to set up the first scene being shot today. Looking to you, he smiles, “Hi.” He holds his hand out.

“Hi,” You respond, your hand meeting his. His handshake is firm and strong but for some reason you’ve become nervous around him. “I’m Y/N. It’s nice to meet you.”

Bellamy lets go of your hand, grinning devilishly, “I’m…” He cuts himself off, “Well, you must know who I am.” 

You almost scoff at how cocky he sounded. Furrowing your eyebrows slightly, you let out a small chuckle. Maybe he was just joking… Looking down at your feet, you mentally curse yourself for feeling inferior beside him. You’re just nervous, you’ll be fine once you get comfortable around everyone… You hope.

Though he sounded like an asshole the first time you met him, he got worse from then on. You couldn’t seem to grasp how someone could be so stuck up when they have everything in the whole world handed to them because they’re in famous movies alongside Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp.

You kept telling yourself it was an act as though maybe he just had an odd sense of humour. But each day you were proven wrong. He really seemed to not appreciate anything. 

You’re not sure if it was all in your head, though. A lot of people seem unappreciative of their privileges these days. It might be because you’ve been fighting a war that isn’t televised to the public and now that you’re home in the land of the ‘free’, you realise how many other poverty-stricken humans have been living. 

It’s the final month of shooting and you’re up to the climax and ending of the film including a slightly sexual scene that was postponed until the proper lighting was acquired. You were nervous though. It was your first scene with him after the fight you both had. Though you and Bellamy only got along during scenes, when you were all acting, you had learned to not get in his way. And he learned not to get in yours.

It was published online that the two of you had a major argument whilst on set of the film and while that was half true, it wasn’t major… maybe just heated. You can’t fully remember how it initially began but the two of you got into a yelling match while practicing a scene and it escalated quickly.

“Look, babe.” He stated, taking a step towards you. The smell of cologne mixed with liquor filled your nostrils and you wondered if he was seriously drinking on set. What is wrong with this man? You felt pity for him because he honestly seemed like he was going through shit. “I don’t need to memorise the script. Did you know Johnny Depp has his lines read to him through an earpiece?”

“Last time I checked, you’re not Johnny Depp.” You replied, fighting the urge to list all the qualities Bellamy has that Johnny doesn’t. “Wouldn’t you rather do this through hard work, not an earpiece?”

Leaning against your trailer, Bellamy looked off to the distance as if you hadn’t said anything at all. But then he spoke up as he looked you up and down, “You don’t get it. You’re not even a real actor.”

“And you’re not a real soldier but look at where you are - on set, pretending to be one.” You fired back, furrowing your eyebrows. 

Bellamy looked like he didn’t want to be there at that moment. He looked as though he’d rather be literally anywhere else, like the ground could swallow him whole and he wouldn’t even care. “Whatever, Princess. Let’s just get this movie done with so I can never see you again.”

“Wow,” You rolled your eyes, looking Bellamy up and down, “You really don’t care about being in this film, do you?”

With a harsh look, he moved from his position resting against the metal of your trailer and he walked towards you. “I don’t care about anything.”

“Clearly.” You scoffed. “You practically get given roles right? And what’s more, drunk on set, arrogant asshole, what’s next? Doing a line in the communal bathrooms? I mean you fit into the stereotype of a movie star pretty well!”

This seemed to get Bellamy angered. For once, off screen, his features were displaying something other than discontentment.  “You fit into the stereotype of a power-driven whore.” He spat, making your eyes widen with shock and anger, “Your movie isn’t even about you! In real life, no one wants to be anywhere near you. You’re alone and unwanted.” He forced a laugh.

You looked at him, wondering what could be weighing him down so much that he’s willing to insult you like this. You knew the two of you were not close but you assumed there would be a level of respect. Though you kind of crossed the line with what you said too… 

“Shut up.” You shook your head. He continued, getting in your personal space. He knew his words were getting to you so he kept going, hoping they stung bad. 

“No one would want to watch a stupid, boring film about some girly soldier unless a male, like me, is in it.” 

“What the hell’s wrong with you?!” You shouted, pushing him back by his shoulders. 

Both your chests were heaving as you stared each other down. He was silent. He said nothing. For some reason you could tell he didn’t mean his words. He looked ashamed at himself, as though he had to force the sentences out from his lips to even be able to say them. 

In reality, he didn’t mean anything he said but he could tell you see through his facade so he wanted to hurt you in order to push you away. Because Bellamy didn’t think of himself like how the world thinks of him. He never has. 

He’s never looked in the mirror and viewed himself as Bellamy Blake, academy award winning movie star. He’s just seen himself as Bell, the boy from a small town. The boy who has a little sister he would die and kill for, who he loves more than anything. The boy who only took up acting because he got kicked out of his year 12 drama class but he was the only one who truly enjoyed it. Bell - and only Bell - was who he truly was. 

And now, you had to face each other. On set. With minimal clothing. During a sex scene. It angered you. Immensely. But like you stated earlier, sex sells. 

You sit in hair and makeup, your leg bouncing up and down furiously. To say that you’re nervous is an understatement. You had never been insulted more by anyone in the world and now, you had to act like you were in love with him. 

You had to kiss him, run your hands through his hair, moan as if you enjoyed it. Sure, it’s just a scene for a film but it was so much more in your head. For Bellamy, it was too. 

He walks into the hair and makeup trailer, ready to get his hair done for the shoot as his stage makeup has already been applied. He immediately stands still when he sees you sitting there getting your lipstick done. Deep down he wanted to just sit there in awe watching you because for Bellamy, he had never met anyone more beautiful. 

And what’s more is that you’re headstrong. Beautifully headstrong and intelligent about so many things. You not only have been awarded various medals for your courage, bravery, and high ranks - that’s right, before even meeting you Bellamy did a tonne of google searches about you. 

He wanted to be 100% prepared. He knew this movie was not only literally making history but making film history. You’re the first female army soldier that is starring in their own film and it’s already huge to the public, he can only imagine what’ll happen when it’s released and everyone loves you - like he know they will.

Bellamy sits down as the hairdresser Chris begins to style his hair and Rachel finishes your makeup. Bell can feel the tension of the cold room cut his throat open and he is silent. His senses overcome him all at once and he wasn’t sure how long he would be able to sit there next to you without saying a word.

Then, the awaited call makes his stomach drop. “Five minutes until we start shooting!”

Bellamy nods and you force a smile at the assistant director, who quickly leaves the trailer to head back to the set. Your eyes meet Bellamy’s for a split second before you look back to the mirror. An odd feeling makes it’s way to your chest and you’re suddenly not sure if you can do this anymore. 

Chris and Rachel are done with your makeup, proclaiming that the two of you look amazing and that it’s time to leave. Thanking them, you walk alongside Bellamy in silence as you make your way onto the set. 

“Y/N.” He states, looking to you before you walk in, “About yester-”

“-I don’t want to think about it.” You interrupt him, not even looking up because you can feel his eyes just watching you, admiring you, and wishing you would let him apologise. “Let’s just get this done.” Is all you mutter before walking away.

He’s left there, out of breathe, extremely nervous, unlike anything he’s ever felt before. The words he used to hurt you echo through his ears, not letting him feel even a moments peace. Bellamy trails after you, his fingers clutching the end of his costume sleeves. 

You stand in front of the director, mentally going over your lines as he speaks to you. Your ears seem to drone him out as Bellamy walks in, looking down at his feet as you watch him secretly. Nodding to the director, he leads you into the hallway set before leaving you to walk to your male counterpart. 

The sounds of people around you resemble a droning noise. Your brain refuses to make sense of anything, you’re too nervous. You’ve been into battle, saving peoples lives, you fight for freedom, yet this stupid scene scares you? 

Pull yourself together. You think to yourself, breathing steadily now. Everyone is in their place and Bellamy walks over to you, swallowing his feelings as he gets in character. Before the call of ‘Action!’ brings you to life, your eyes are closed. 

Walking to your mark, Bellamy pulls you back - or should you say, his character pulls you back. “You can’t go back.” He warns, eyes wide as he steps closer to you.

“I have to.” You shrug, looking down as you pull your arm away gently. You turn to your apartment. “Just go home. Don’t make this harder than it already is.” You unlock the door, ignoring the camera that pans along as you step in. 

Bellamy gives you a pleading look, feeling his heart sink as your eyes meet. “Don’t go. Don’t leave me.” He begs, his eyes glossing over with tears as he inches towards you. He feels the need to touch you during this scene to establish the characters closeness but he can’t seem to move closer to you.

“Cut!” The director yells, making you jump slightly. Bellamy sighs as he walks up to the two of you, “You’re doing great but Bellamy, your character Jake is trying everything he can to make her stay. We’ll go from your last line and I want to see more closeness!” He says, giving you each encouraging smiles. “Action!”

Bellamy gives you a look again, stepping closer to you as he says his line. “Don’t go. Don’t leave me.” He begs, his endearing eyes grazing your lips as he moves closer. Placing a hand on your cheek, Bellamy feels his heart stop and you feel breathless. “Please.”

You furrow your eyebrows, feeling tears burning your eyes thanks. You never thought you’d be able to cry on cue. Placing your hand on his, you squeeze it gently before bringing it down, saying your line. “I made a promise when I started to always be there when they need me.” 

“I need you!” Bellamy shouts, stepping away in vehemence. He paces angrily, slamming the door shut which makes you jump. He turns back to you, giving you a look that could change your mind about him. Bellamy seems so caring. “Y/N… I-” A laugh is heard from off screen and Bellamy realises what he’s said. You chuckle, looking down at your feet as Bellamy blushes. “Sorry…”

“Keep rolling.” The director laughs, giving you a few minutes to get back into character. You take a breath, looking back up at Bellamy as he paces restlessly. 

“Your/Characters/Name,” He says instead of your name. He bounces from one foot to another and you await his line, wondering what he’ll sound like saying it. “I love you.”

“Don’t.” You turn away, your heart beating loudly.

“Don’t what?” Bellamy replies, angrily. You stay silent, letting your thoughts consume you as your character would. “Don’t what?” Bellamy asks once more, his voice louder.

“Don’t say that!” You shout back, turning to him to look him in the eyes as you walk up to him. “Don’t tell me you love me. You can’t do that to me.”

“I love you.” He replies, without a pause as he walks closer to you. “I love you, Y/C/N.”

“Jake…”

It’s happening. Bellamys hands are on you. One on your cheek and the other, off screen, on your waist as he gets closer to you. “I love you.” He repeats, his voice now in a whisper.

Your eyes flutter as you look at him from up close. Only a second was spent admiring him from this close but it felt like an eternity. The way his eyelashes rest on his tan, freckled cheeks as his eyes drift over your eyes to your lips. His thick lips so close to your face.

It’s quiet on set, everyone is watching and entirely immersed in the scene. “I’m being deployed tomorrow.” You shake your head, giving him a sad, hopeless look.

“I still love you.” He shrugs, leaning forward as his chest heaves up and down. Bellamy feels your breathe on his lips and he gulps his nerves down. “I always will. And I know you love me too.”

“You’re making this difficult.”

“Good.” He replies, blinking as you both stare into each others eyes. You feel like you’re only looking at Bellamy, not Jake. Almost like it’s really Bellamy there, telling you he loves you. But you know it’s dumb. “Say it.”

You bite your lip slightly, opening your mouth slightly. “You can’t make me.”

His expression is neutral, waiting and watching for your lips to move into the words he wants to hear. “Say it.” Bellamy begs.

You pause, knowing your director would want a big lead up to the kiss. With a deep breathe, you feel Bellamy’s nose brushing against yours. “I love you.” You mumble. 

In an instant, Bellamys lips are on yours and you lose control of your whole body. You feel limp - numb, almost. As if you’re not really there at all even though you can fully feel his lips on yours and the tips of his fingers pressing against your hips. 

Your eyes are closed as you move your lips against his. Even though the kiss is staged, you can’t help but feel like it means more. It’s probably all in your head. You pull back, your face painted with shock as you look at Bellamy. 

Not a word is shared as he leans in towards your neck and you wrap your arms around him, a hand entwined in his curly hair. He leaves open-mouthed kisses onto your warm skin, closing his eyes the entire time as his chest aches just being this close to you. 

Bellamy trails his hands over your shirt, pulling back to remove it along with your confidence and oxygen. The camera man quickly moves slightly behind you to film Bellamy leaning down as he pulls your pants down. Bellamy’s hands trail down your back for the mid-shot camera angle and he then lifts you up to wrap your legs around his waist. 

“Alright, cut!” The director yells, leaving you in reality with your legs wrapped around Bellamy Blake. He doesn’t let you go, he just keeps his eyes on you though he pulls back slightly. You assume he knows what he’s doing, being a professional and all. 

It’s a closed set, so only the director and his assistant are in the room during this scene. He moves around different lighting stands, getting better high key lighting for when you and Bellamy are on the bed together. 

Noticing your nervous glances, Bellamy smiles softly - not looking at your exposed body once, you note. “You’re doing great.” He mutters quietly to you, making you turn your head to look down at him. 

“Thank you.” You nod, the hint of a small smile on your lips. 

The director yells action and that’s when Bellamy carries you over to the bed. He sets you down gently, as if you’re a porcelain doll, and you lay down as he hovers over you. He stretches his arms to pull his shirt off and you can’t help but watch him looking down at you the whole time. 

He takes his pants off too, leaving him in boxers as you lay there in your matching set of lingerie given to you by the costume department. But you know that what you’re wearing won’t last because Bellamy’s hands trace your hips gently, slightly pulling down the black underwear to reveal the skin coloured underwear underneath. 

In post production, they’ll edit it out so that it appears to just be nothing but your skin. You’re so nervous so you just focus on him. The lights frame his face perfectly, mesmerising you as Bellamy places his lips on yours, kissing you passionately as one hand rests on your hip bone.

Placing your hands on his lower abs, you close your eyes and kiss him back which internally makes Bellamy go wild. He pulls back with his eyes slightly wide, loving the safe feeling of your warm hands touching him. “You’re so beautiful.” He admits, improvising the line but meaning it.

 It leaves you slightly shocked but you go along with it. “Just kiss me.” You reply, leaning up to meet his lips fervently. 

Going along with what the director is telling you, Bellamy hesitates before leaning back and pulling the covers over both of you. On instruction, you wrap your arms around him so they rest on his back and Bellamy holds himself up by leaning his elbows beside either side of your face. 

Another loud cut is yelled from the director and you wonder how long it’ll be before he gives you a full blown headache. Handing Bellamy a tan coloured pair of pants, you have time to lay there and recollect your breath. Once he’s done putting the pants on for the awkward thrusting scene, he goes back to hovering over you. 

One of your bare legs is between his as he begins to move his hips back and forth slowly. You know you’re supposed to be… you know, doing it… but you can’t focus so you just close your eyes. Act. All you have to do is act, Y/N.

Bellamy leans down next to your ear, letting his lips brush against you with every movement of his hips. “Relax.” He whispers, his tone calming you immensely, “Just breathe, I’m right here.” 

You furrow your eyebrows, nodding slightly as he presses a gentle kiss to your collarbone just like the shot list orders him to. Bellamy lets out a quiet groan and for some reason it actually makes you feel more comfortable. You make your breathe louder, screwing your eyes shut as you act in the moment.

Leaning back down to whisper to you, Bellamy quickens his hip pace. “Come.” He tells you, shocking you but almost motivating you. He knows exactly how he’s making you feel with is words. And thanks to him, you know exactly what to do. 

Your nails dig into Bellamy’s back for a few seconds, trailing down his back as he lets out a loud hum. As you fake your high, you lean your neck back and dig your head into the pillow, opening your mouth as you let out a small moan. You don’t want to go all out because you know they’re just going to put music over this entire scene anyways. 

Bellamy watches you, enticed by the way you’re looking at him with a small, open-mouthed smile. With one last thrust, he furrows his eyebrows and tenses his abs, knowing exactly what he’d doing. With a final close up shot of his hand clutching the covers, you’re finally done with the pysical part. 

Now, all you have to do is lay down with Bellamy to fake the morning after part. Robes are handed to both of you as Bellamy shifts over and sits on the bed. You stand as Rachel from hair and makeup walks over to you with a smile. 

You walk to the dressing room and she’s extremely nice as she helps you place on this odd material over your breasts and hoo-ha so that it looks like you’re naked but you’re actually not. Hollywood films are crazy genius.

Clutching your robe tightly as you walk back to set, Rachel leaves you when you walk in to see Bellamy chatting to the director. Hopefully it’s all positive things. Sighing with a nervous smile, he tells you where to lay down and you only take your robe off when you’re next to Bellamy. You lay down and close your eyes.

Placing the covers over the bottom half of your chest, it flows down to just cover your private parts and even though the material you’re wearing covers you very well you can’t help but feel extremely awkward when Bellamy has to place a hand over your waist. His hand grazes along your upper thigh, carrying the white sheet in his hands as he presses his chest against your back.

When his arm rests against your waist, spooning you from behind, you feel … safe. The nerves and awkwardness has been eradicated from your chest and you feel as though you could actually fall asleep. But then, cut it yelled and that’s a wrap.

After this long and often tiring journey, the film is finally done being shot. Now, it’ll go into post-production and soon it’ll be shown in every cinema around the world. But first, there’ll be a premier where you’ll have to sit next to your co-star, suffer through various interviews, and be asked questions you don’t know how to answer. But that’s not something you can be thinking about right now.

You sit in the vehicle patiently, the wheels bouncing against the rocky, unstable ground. There have been reports of bomb-threats around your base camp so you, your good friend and fellow soldier, Lincoln have been sent to investigate. 

In the country that you’re in, this was so surprise. There were often threats of this kind placed amongst your army camp but most go without anything even happening. But this time, no one expected it. You had walked out with your best friend, armour and guns in hand. But it didn’t help. 

Before you could even comprehend what was going on, you saw the red flashing lights so you push Lincoln back behind the small lookout house. You, however, didn’t have time to get there quickly and upon impact of the bomb going off, you fell to the ground. And that’s all you remember before you passed out. 

You wonder if it was a nightmare but when you move your arm you’re met with the painful realisation that it wasn’t. It happened. Quickly fluttering your eyes open, you feel pain shoot through your entire body as you wake up and try to sit up. 

A doctor warns you to stay laying down but her voice sounds drowned out, like it’s a million miles away coming from every direction. “Lincoln.” You mumble, feeling the doctor’s hands push you back down gently. You furrow your eyebrows, closing your eyes as you feel dizzy. “How’s Lincoln?”

A reply along the lines of, ‘He’s fine, stay still’ makes you feel slightly at ease. When you open your eyes again, everything is different. Everyone has disappeared and silence surrounds you. The room is bright white as you look up at the clean ceiling. 

Turning your head, you blink slowly to see the figures behind the glass door. It’s your mum and dad standing there, calmly talking to the doctor. Next, your eyes drift to the seat next to yours. “Bellamy?” You croak, making the tan boy jump awake. 

He looks to you immediately, standing up and placing a hand on your cheek. “Y/N. Fuck. Thank god you’re okay.” Bell breathes heavily, looking into your eyes with utmost concern. 

“W-What day is it?” You wonder, urgently eager to know if you’ve been out for long. Your parents walk away from the door with the doctor, not realising you’re awake yet.

“Wednesday.” He replies, taking his hand off you. Two days. You’ve been here for two days. “Do you need anything? I’ll get Dr.-”

“No, I’m fine.” You shake your head slightly, leaning your head back onto the pillow with a quiet breathe. You can feel his gaze still on you, anxiety radiating off of him. “Really, Bell. I’m good.”

His chest sinks when he hears you use his nickname that only few people know. There’s a pause as he sits beside you on the free space on the bed. “I need to tell you something and this time please don’t shut me up.”

“Well, it’s not like I can run away from you.” You shrug, smiling slightly as he chuckles.

Furrowing his eyebrows, Bellamy looks down as his fingertips rub his bottom lip. “I haven’t stopped thinking about that fight we had. I honestly can’t believe I said that to you, that wasn’t me.” He shakes his head, looking up at you with glossy eyes. “You’re none of the things I called you. You’re intelligent. And brave. You take risks every day and it’s an honour just to be cast alongside you.”

“I know, I for-”

“I’m not done. You’re a beautiful, headstrong woman and anyone who has you in their life is extremely blessed.” He vents, feeling out of breath, “I think that you can sort of see through me and not many people can. I’m not some big, stupid, actor who only cares about being a celebrity and looking good on camera because I’m not that person. I’m not that… stereotype.” He quickly rants, feeling the hot tears burning his eyes slightly, “And I never will be. I’m just a boy from a small town who’s insanely lucky to even be sitting here talking to you.”

“i forgive you. And I’m sorry too.” You tell him, reaching your hand out and he holds yours. 

His chest rises and falls slowly as he calms down slightly. “You have nothing to apologise for.”

“I do.” You oppose him, sitting up to be closer to him. “I know how the world sees you and I know that it must be really hard on you with all the pressure to fit into how everyone expects you to be.”

Bellamy pauses. He never knew someone could understand him so perfectly. “Y/N.” He states, randomly changing the subject. “Do you… want to have dinner with me?”

You smile, letting out a small laugh that he admires. “Right now?” 

“Right now.” He replies, squeezing your hand in his. The clock on the wall reads 11:35 pm but he doesn’t care.

“It’s lunch time.” You laugh, smiling at him with admiration. You finally get the feeling that this is Bellamy, the real Bellamy.

He shrugs, “Okay. Dinner-lunch then. I heard the food here is to die for.” He jokes, making you stifle a laugh at his terribly inappropriate joke.

“I don’t know…” You mumble unsurely, “Will we need a reservation if it’s too fancy?”

He plays along, smirking down at you. “I’m Bellamy Blake.” He scoffs, acting all high and mighty, making you roll your eyes. He laughs cutely, the side of his eyes crinkling, “So?” He smiles hopefully.

“I would love to have dinner-lunch with you.” You smile, placing a hand on his cheek as a sign of endearment. “But first, I think I should talk to my parents.” 

His eyes widen as he nods, making you laugh. “I’ll go get them.” He tells you, standing up with a smile. Before he leaves, Bellamy turns back around to you and asks you a question. “Can I give you a kiss?”

Your heart beats so quick that you wonder if the monitor will start screaming it’s head off. “Yes.” You smile childishly as you both lean forward together. 

When your lips meet, it feels completely new. Despite the staged kisses the two of you shared, this one feels different. It’s slow and caring and you feel as though you’re in heaven. You’re completely, utterly happy as your lips move together.
