Meanwhile, Back at the Balan Theater...

After the humans had been read the tale of the Yin the Banished Maestro, they knew that whatever he wanted presumably had something to do with Mirabella, as Kaylo was a direct descendant of her. However, WHAT that something was, was a mystery. "Balan. Is there some kind of Wonderworld Artifact that he's after? Or some way to break the seals?" Mei asked.

"I'm not too sure Mei. Wonderworld Seals just don't go away. Only the world itself can remove them, that power isn't in our hands. But something tells me that is what he plans." Balan said. "Well, we can't just wait here waiting for something to happen...we gotta find him before he does something horrible to Kaylo." Leo said.

"That might not be wise, at least not yet Leo. For you are going up against a former maestro." Lance said, tension in his voice. "I agree with Lance. Given that you're human, you may not have a chance." Balan said. "But we can't just sit here and do nothing!" Emma shouts. "I understand that Emma dear, but it's just that Yin is tricky I fear, he prays on the weak, and knows what makes them humble. I worry that if he finds you, all chances of succeeding will tumble." Balan says.

"Hmm...Can't you two go against him? You ARE maestros as well." Rebecca states. "Our power may be great inside the theater walls, but outside of it, both of our strength falls." Lance informs. "Well. Maybe you guys won't have to use your power." Trisha Jane said. "What do you mean?" Leo questioned, raising an eyebrow. "Call up the others and I'll explain the plan." She said.

The group didn't quite understand what Trisha Jane was planning, but they knew that usually, her plans did work. Emma and Rebecca stepped outside to call up the other humans, while Mei and Leo went to get the Negabosses from deeper in Wonderworld. A few moments later, The human inhabitants had made their way to the theater, while the Negabosses appeared, with Leo and Mei on Purrla's shoulder.

"Alright. You got us over here. What's the crisis?" Eis asked. "Kaylo's been kidnapped by an evil maestro that was banned from Wonderworld." Leo said bluntly, and caused Thea to start sobbing again. "Trisha Jane says that she has a plan, but it involves all of us." He said. The Negabosses blanched at the mention of the Banished Maestro as Hooverton began to slowly vanish in fear.

"D-Did you say the Banished Maestro?!" Purrla quivered. "You know about him?" Cass asked. "Of course I do! Everyone in Wonderworld knows the tale of the Maestro that nearly plunged all of Wonderworld into darkness, the Maestro that actively hunted down humans and trapped them in Wonderworld!" Fortie said from inside a shivering Fortsepher.

"Like what Lance did?" Cal asked "No! It was worse than what Lance did! He treated anyone that wasn't a Maestro like a nuisance! He turned all living costumes and Negati into slaves! And those who didn't obey him were destroyed!" Inkabelle wailed. The inhabitants began to look scared. This wasn't good. "Yes. But I have a plan that might work. But it's going to take all of us to make it work." Trisha Jane said.

The group gathered in close to hear what she had to say, hoping that this plan would work.

What RED Medic Tf2 was doing in WWII

I’ve discussed BLU/Emesis Blue Medic in terms of him being a Jewish German [and a Catholic] in a different post on my blog. And I headcanon that RED Medic is Jewish too.

But unlike BLU, he decided to stay in Germany instead of trying to flee to another country… for revenge. He’d always been criminally insane, but he actually loathed the N*zis and their ways. So between 1939 and 1945, he infiltrated their special hospitals and impersonated staff.

Then when he found an important Party Member being worked on, he’d brutally butcher them while they were alive, and then take evidence that he was there. If it was a general, they’d be found dead with their femurs broken in half and their kneecaps missing. If he found the people responsible for the illegal toxic gas used on the front, he’d water down their product and kill them slow.

But it wasn’t sustainable. Eventually, he knew he’d have to stop if he wanted to disappear. So for his final hunt he snuck into Mengele’s lab and stole his skeleton, making sure he woke up to feel it.

Since it was the last time he was gonna butcher a N*zi, he left evidence from the other murders and paperwork detailing who he was. Because the N*zis didn’t know who kept infiltrating their ranks; they assumed it was a whole organization.

The regime couldn’t let the public know that one Jewish guy was able to kill their finest, and they couldn’t track him down because he planned ahead. They had to settle for cancelling his medical license indefinitely. And he sounds so proud of the fact that it’s all they could do.

One of the reasons that he and Heavy are friends is that they bonded over hatred for the evil men who ruled their countries. Heavy’s not unhinged like Medic and gets scared/uncomfortable when he’s acting wild, like anyone else on the team. But he respects the doktor for what he did in WWII and outsmarting the regime.

It would also explain why Heavy still trusted Medic in the comics, when both Sniper and Demoman were questioning his loyalty. He knows this isn’t the first time Ludwig infiltrated enemy ranks to sabotage/kill them.

Do you a Fic of Bruce's Nightmare with Hooverton?

Sure.

Bruce tossed and turned in his bed, trying to get comfortable. But that was proving to be difficult to do so. He was having a nightmare. And about his Nega boss form, Hooverton.

In his nightmare, Hooverton was floating right above him. "Start cleaning!!" He bellowed down below.

Bruce, despite how old he was, hurried as fast as he could. He began cleaning up the mess that was in this arena. But it didn't help that he was currently being chased by Hooverton himself.

"Please! Spare me!" Bruce cried and begged. But his pleas fell on deaf ears as Hooverton kept on chasing him.

Bruce hurried, picking up as much of the trash as he could. But to his horror and dismay, there were piles of trash everywhere! "How am I supposed to clean all of this up before he catches me!?" Bruce asked himself.

Suddenly, Hooverton caught up with Bruce. "You failed to clean all of this up!" He bellowed. "For that, you will pay dearly!"

"No, please!!" Bruce cried before Hooverton launched an attack at him.

Bruce awoke with sweat trickling down his forehead. "That's the fourth time this week that this nightmare has happened," He muttered to himself. "I have to consult Balan about this… These nightmares are getting out of hand…"

With a sigh, Bruce lay back down and closed his eyes, attempting to fall back to sleep.

More Balan Wonderworld - This Time with More Positivity

I’m almost done with the main story of the game - I just have Chapter 12-2, the Hooverton boss fight, then the Lance boss fight - but I wanted to give more of my opinions on the game, this time focusing on level designs and the costumes. *Note that I don’t have all the costumes yet and I haven’t unlocked the Act 3-s of the chapters since those are post-game. I also don’t have the Balan costume because I keep losing my three-badge Tims in my sea of 100+ Tims, which you need the three-badge Tims to breed and give a King Tim to “sacrifice” to the Father Tim statue on the isle. This is a long post, so I’ll put everything else under the “Keep Reading” button so it doesn’t clog up feeds. Hope you guys enjoy this!

First off, here’s my top five favorite level designs:

1. Chapter 9 Act 2

I am a sucker for carnival/circus-themed levels in games, so this haunted house-style level in a chapter revolving around a circus clown is absolutely my cup of tea. The rotating hallways scared the shit out of me every time - mostly because I didn’t know when they’d start rotating, then I realized it started right about half way through - and the large room with falling platforms actually managed to make me jump. It’s a really fun level and I loved it a lot.

2. Chapter 8 Act 1 Did I ever mention I love ice worlds? Yeah, I love ice worlds. Not necessarily for the gameplay of sliding around willy-nilly on ice, but for the simplistic beauty you can get from snow falling and ice statues. This level is gorgeous every time I walk through it, and while having the Seal Skater is a must in this chapter, it still made me feel like I was walking in a winter wonderland.

3. Chapter 10 Acts 1 & 2

Kinda cheating with this one since it’s just the entire chapter, but I absolutely loved the MC Escher-style level design in both of the acts. Optical illusions are so impressive to view, so getting to essentially walk around in an Escher painting was a thrill. I found myself looking around in awe at just how the different perspectives could alter the reality, and I really enjoyed it. This is also the only Chapter that makes it so you can’t fall out of the world, so that was a major blessing.

4. Chapter 6 Act 2

This is where Cass Milligan’s chapter turned full-on Alice in Wonderland, and I was living for it. The travel through portals had been a feature since Chapter 1 Act 1, but getting to actually freeze time and roam around was exhilarating, especially when I needed a breather after getting ambushed by Negati. It’s filled with Tim Traps, though, so you have to be on your toes to make sure the Tims don’t get grabbed.

5. Chapter 3 Act 2

I really love flying around in levels. I’m scared to death of heights, but when playing video games, I really enjoy the prospect of flying. While Chapter 4 is literally focused on Haoyu and his ambition to fly, I enjoy Chapter 3 Act 2 more because of the level layout. Don’t get me wrong, the open skies are amazing, but seeing the hollow trees, towering mushrooms, green foliage was so beautiful when flying around in the dark with the Dusk Butterfly. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Now, time for my top five favorite costumes. I’ll add some honorable mentions, as well (I didn’t do honorable mentions for the levels because I didn’t really have many favorites outside of those five... and Chapter Twelve sucks right now. I only recently beat Act 1 because I kept dying right at the floating platform bit near the end and ended up rage-quitting after ten consecutive deaths in the same area):

Honorable Mentions:

Iron Apollo - This little costume, while slower than molasses, was extremely helpful when I didn’t have Double Jumper. It can fly just as high as a double jump, which was how I managed to get Fixer-upper and Sickle Slayer.

Flame Blaster - I haven’t used it much, but oh my Lord, I love how brutal its attack is. I also love the added bonus that it’s immune to lava and fire, because dear God, Chapter 11 was a nightmare to get through since I kept losing my Water Blaster costume.

1. Frost Fairy

I feel like everyone and their dog really likes Frost Fairy, and I can’t blame them. The design is beautiful, the stair-jump is really helpful, and it’s just an overall useful costume to have. It’s fitting that one of the most beautifully designed costumes is the signature outfit to one of my favorite characters, Iben Bia.

2. Air Unicorn

Yeah, Air Cat is good, but Air Unicorn upgrades Air Cat so you can walk for double the amount of steps. Air Unicorn is not easy to get, but it’s absolutely worth having for Chapter 12 (so far - remember, I’m only through Act 1 of Chapter 12) and is a really good costume if you have to go back to Chapter 9 Act 2 going statue hunting. Also is it me, or does the design for the Air Unicorn look really similar to Starlight Glimmer from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?

3. Merry Ghost

I found out just how amazing this little guy was when I went back to Chapter 6 Act 1 to go statue hunting. While the Merry Ghost can’t attack Negati, it can avoid poison hazards and fly up those collapsing stairwells you can find throughout certain levels. I legit had to pause and laugh in disbelief when I found out that, when I was using Soaring Sheep to climb the stairs, I could’ve just stocked up on Merry Ghosts in 9-2, come back to 6-1, and go about my merry way (pun intended.) It also looks like the Pokémon Mimikyu, which makes this little ghost boy extremely cute to me.

4. Iron Panda

If you’re scared of falling off the edge with the Tackling Bull or want something that can actually jump while destroying stuff (Box Fox, lookin’ at you), I definitely recommend the Iron Panda. It helped me get the Paladin Puncher without me risking a plummet to my demise, it’s really useful in other chapters as usually you can find statues in areas only the Iron Panda can get to, and its design is just... it’s so dorky. I love it.

5.Itsy-bitsy Elf

This guy was definitely a challenge to get, but once I got it, I had a lot of fun with it. (When going for the costume, I recommend using Slow Tortoise to slow the blocks down, then just bolt back and forth with Slow Tortoise if you want to stockpile the costume.) Its design is absolutely adorable, the little doors it travels through are a bit disorienting but overall enjoyable, and its smaller than your Tims. Imagine being in the Itsy-bitsy Elf costume and hugging a Tim; that’d probably feel like heaven.

Meanwhile, Back with the Inhabitants...

After saving their Negabosses from potentially becoming the next tests in Yin's plan, the inhabitants went to go and find to find the others (who they hoped took care of Yin and Prim). At the same time, they were explaining to the Negabosses just HOW they obtained Maestro abilities. "So, The spirit of Yang appeared, Used the heart, that Kaylo STILL has, and just gave you maestro powers?" Hooverton asked.

"That pretty much explains a lot. I mean, we really haven't given it much thought." Fiona said. However, the Negabosses then bombarded them with different questions. "Did you really see Yang?! What was she like? Did she really have a flower crown made with Wonderworld flowers? Was she kind and wise? Were there little costumes, Negati and Tims in her hair? Was her hair really like a nest? Did she smell like pure happiness?!" They asked. The inhabitants leaned back at their enthusiasm "Erm...well...we didn't have enough time to see (or smell...) But if she appears again, we'll ask as well." Cal said.

Disappointed, but understanding, the group pressed onwards, running through the town until they met up with Mei, Rebecca, Trisha Jane, Aria, Lora Jade and Kaylo, who were currently keeping a struggling Yin from escaping. The Negabosses shivered at the sight of Yin, but this time were relieved that something of (somewhat) equal power was keeping him from destroying them. However, this didn't mean that they were still scared of Yin.

The red maestro wriggled in the grasp of Lora Jade, "YOU PATHETIC HACK! GET YOUR FILTHY HAIR OFF ME!!" Yin screamed. Lora Jade just narrowed her eyes at him "Hush Yin. This is a battle that you won't win." She snarked, making Yin growl at her and struggle even more. "Hey...where are Balan and Lance? I mean considering that Yin took their power." Worville asked. "They're with Emma and Leo, taking care of Yin's machine." Jett said, as he was still giving Prim a beat down.

This made Yin even MORE mad as he struggled harder in Lora Jade's grasp "KEEP THOSE REPLACEMENTS AWAY FROM MY PURIFIER!!" He yelled. Mei however stared Yin dead in the eye "You already caused enough problems in your wake. And who knows what more you'll make. The mess that you caused is becoming too great. And if not fixed, both worlds will suffer a terrible fate." She said. Unfortunately, Yin wasn't phased by her words. He instead turned his attention elsewhere, before letting out a loud whistle, that made everyone cover their ears.

"What was that supposed to do? Was that some kind of trick from you?" Attilio asked. But he was cut off when Trisha Jane slapped a hand on his mouth, and then repositioned his head to turn around, and everyone paled at what they saw...surrounding them all was Yin's entire costume army, eyes narrowed at them. "Costumes! Your maestro needs you! DESTROY THEM!!" Yin yelled.

And the Costumes all glared at them...with murderous intent.

Equine Paws - Side characters: Monu & Opal

OK SO, a long time ago before the main cast. Monu (a Guardian Ekquil) founded Hooverton with the intended purpose for it to be a safe haven for Ekquils of any kind. His main reason for this is because in the war that just ended not even a day ago ruined to much land and destroyed/ruined lives all across the bored. So he seeked to bring the world back to more livable conditions, and his idea wasn't about to fail since Ekquils who survived the war heard about his idea and wanted to help him build Hooverton and maybe live in it. Pretty soon, Ekquils were building houses, shops, etc, all the while Monu used his powers to bring life back the area so farms could be built and Hooverton was finally realized. ok character time :D Monu: is one of 3 still living Guardian Ekquils, who is the founder of Hooverton and the most powerful Ekquil in Hooverton. He doesn't really talk unless it's about about big lore filled history dumps or threw him just grunting about stuff. Personality wise he's logical, doesn't fall for anything, and also moderately protective and is definitely that one parent who confronts the bad parents in front of everyone to embrace the shit out of them when their is causing issue and they know it. He also has fun hobbies like using his magic to create giant trees just so he fight them until his hands hurt, or wearing nice suits and going to local performances or the circus with his son.. daughter?? kid, Opal. SPEAKING OF WHICH Opal: Opal is bear cub Ekquil that was adopted by Monu and lives with him in Moose Manor (which is a manor located on a small hill above Hooverton) They don't really have a gender but they have similar hobbies to Monu but less insane, for example: while Monu destroys tree to stay strong, Opal rips up grass and uses the dirt as face paint so everyone knows their all that, and goes to the suit shops with Monu and wears extra large blazers so them and Monu match because it makes them happy, and when Opal and Monu go to the circus they always gets to bring their tea set and play butler to Monu. Their personality is very sweet and they are strangely humble for someone living in manor. As for one last thing, Opal was born without a chest-mark so one day when Monu asked Opal if he wanted a chest-mark, and Opal gave Monu and picture of themself. Monu then interpermeated that as what he wanted and used his powers to give Opal a mark. (Opal intended for it to be them showing Monu he doesn't need a mark to be himself but that flew right over Monu's head. Opal still liked the mark) The relationship between them is a very sweet one, and his the parent child relationship in the show. Though if Opal got punched in the face while Monu, who ever was doing the punching would have 1.3 seconds to live.
