Both programs have 120-day cookies. GetResponse provides an above-average conversion period compared to the standard 30 days that many merchants offer. Also, the lengthy cookie duration supports its 30-day free trial.
The payout threshold is low. As GetResponse states, “In order to qualify for the payout during the Commission Run (in between 15th and 20th), the balance in your account should exceed $50 on the last day of the preceding month. Also, if this is the first payout that you are receiving from us, we may keep it from one to up to three months due to additional anti-fraud checks.” On CJ Affiliate, the payment threshold is also $50. There are different payment methods available, depending on the region.
Deep linking is available for both programs. Deep linking is how an affiliate creates a link to a specific page on the merchant’s site. For example, instead of using a generic homepage affiliate link, I can link to an article related to my post. GetResponse gives you the ability to deep-link to any page on its site, which is advantageous given how many resources it has.
GetResponse has excellent affiliate marketing materials, which are available in multiple languages. It covers all the bases including:

The Refugee Legal Aid Program (RLAP) of St. Andrew’s Refugee Services (StARS) in Cairo provides advice and representation to refugees seeking recognition by UNHCR through refugee status determination procedures in Egypt, and assists refugees in accessing resettlement to safe third countries. RLAP is seeking a Resettlement Legal Officer to assist vulnerable refugees in their resettlement processes.
Under the supervision of the RLAP Director and the Resettlement Coordinator, the Resettlement Legal Officer is responsible for the provision of legal advice and representation to urban refugees in matters related to resettlement. This includes: assessment of initial requests for assistance with resettlement; the screening of refugee cases to identify those of heightened vulnerability fitting UNHCR’s criteria, specific need, or strategic importance; preparation of detailed written statements addressing accounts of persecution in countries of origin; drafting legal briefs in support of claims for resettlement; and communicating with UNHCR, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, and others concerning client cases and additional support. The Resettlement Legal Officer is also expected to contribute to advocacy efforts regarding the urban refugee population and to supervise and train volunteer staff. Northwest Immigrant Rights Project to host QLAW paid summer internship fellow in eastern Washington state
Many LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) immigrants in the US were forced to flee and are afraid of returning to their country of origin due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status. Others are persecuted, abused and discriminated against within the US because of their sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status. Those in rural communities are especially vulnerable to abuse and discrimination because of a lack of support and resources in isolated areas. The Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks a QLAW fellow to be based in NWIRP’s Wenatchee office and will provide crucial direct legal representation and outreach to this population.
The fellowship is open to all law students able to commit to at least 10 weeks, full time during the summer of 2017. Applicants must have a commitment to advancing and defending the rights of low-income immigrants, excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. Fluency in Spanish is required. The fellow will receive a USD 7,500 stipend.

Q. I will be retiring in May 2020 at the age of 58. On retirement, I will have about ₹1 crore in savings. I also own a house. Kindly advise on how to invest my money for the next two years and after I become a senior citizen.
A. Even if you are less than 60, you can invest in the Post Office Senior Citizens’ Scheme. The law says: “an individual of the age of 55 years or more but less than 60 years who has retired on superannuation or under VRS can also open account subject to the condition that the account is opened within one month of receipt of retirement benefits and amount should not exceed the amount of retirement benefits.” So, you can invest up to ₹15 lakh (maximum permitted) in your name as soon as you retire. The balance can be invested in a combination of large bank FDs, post office time deposit and select top-rated corporate deposits. If you are familiar with mutual funds, you can also consider liquid funds and do a systematic withdrawal plan (SWP). It would be very tax efficient. Assume you generate an average 7%, or ₹7 lakh of income, from your corpus per annum. If this is more than adequate, then reduce investments in the above safe options and invest a small proportion in some quality hybrid funds under the category of equity savings. This will also provide some tax efficiency and earn debt-like returns.
Q. I am married and have children. My home loan EMI is ₹10,908 and my personal loan EMI is ₹6,200. My wife wants to close the home loan with ₹4 lakh from pledge of gold. I feel we should close the personal loan…
A. It is good to close the loan that does not provide any tax benefit. In your case, personal loan repayment should come first. However, we see little need to pledge gold to close any loan. Is your interest rate on pledging gold lower than the personal loan rate? It is unlikely but if that is the case, then it can be a reason to pledge. Else, my candid answer would be to sell gold now (prices are high) and repay, if you don’t need that gold and your monthly cash flows are becoming tight, post EMI.
Q. I’m 23 years old and currently preparing for a competitive exam. I have savings of ₹50,000. Can you suggest some investment plans for 1-3 years?
A. For your time frame, you can consider a combination of large bank FDs, short duration debt mutual funds that are consistent and some exposure to equity savings fund. Given your short time frame, we do not wish to recommend any equity exposure.
Q. I have made mutual fund (MF) investments in physical statement of account (SOA) form through a lump sum investment mode. Please advise on the benefits of conversion of physical SOA MF units into an online demat mode.
A. Physical form of investing is not an optimal way to organise your investments. You should consider going online. However, there are several platforms that provide you online MF services without demat form. In other words, they are like having a statement, except that it is all online and you can view your investments at any point in an app or laptop. Demat form of investing also helps you consolidate your investments and view them online (assuming your broker is indeed online). But it is not a necessity. If you are already investing in stocks, then holding MFs and stocks in the same demat can help you consolidate. If you aren’t, then you could look at other online options to avoid demat or brokerage charges.

But please don’t fall for the “make money while you sleep” slogan. It’s true that once set up, your blog will construct marketings without the need to be there personally, however, you are able to always have to put in the time for marketing, handling customer queries, etc. There is no easy buck on the internet, otherwise, everyone would already be taking advantage of it.

Creating Your Own E-books
If you are an expert in a topic, writing an e-book can take you a few days to a week.
You can be fancy and create your book in InDesign or PowerPoint. These are nice, however, they have huge drawbacks: The resulting file will be large and adding to a PowerPoint slide can be a nightmare because of the re-pagination.
Therefore I recommend that you use a simple and free e-book template for Libre Office or Open Office. These programs provide an easy way to save your volume in PDF form.
I recommend Canva( it’s free) for creating your encompas image and marketing images.
Make sure your images are compressed. This will induce the resulting file smaller.
If you want to create a screenshot, paste it into LibreOffice. You can crop and save the image right in the program only by right-clicking on it. After you enter the file name you want to save the image under, you will get a dialogue box where you can set the height and thicknes of the image :P TAGEND
I usually defined my images to 700 pixels in thicknes and then I compress them using TinyPng. This way I almost always get an image file that is under 100 kB.

Savers earn interest rates of between 6 to 10 percent, depending on the type and duration of investment, Piggybank.ng’s Somto Ifezue told TechCrunch in Lagos with co-founders Odunayo Eweniyi and Joshua Chibueze.
Users need an account with one of PiggyBank.ng’s bank partners to use the products. The startup generates returns for small-scale savers (primarily) through investment in Nigerian government securities, such as bonds and treasury bills.
PiggyBank.ng generates revenue through asset management and from the float its balances generate at partner banks.
The startup looks to grow clients across younger Nigerians and the country’s informal saving groups.
“The market that we are trying to serve is largely the millennial market, though we do not exclude anyone,” said Eweniyi, the company’s chief operating officer. The venture also looks to meet a demand in Nigeria for accessible investment options, citing a survey they conducted indicating that as a top priority for people with discretionary income.
“Piggybank offers savings, but our vision is not just savings, but to become a holistic platform — a financial warehouse — where other financial providers can plug in their services for PiggyBank users,” said Eweniyi. She cited banks, investment houses, insurance, and pension funds as possible partners.
The company currently has 53,000 registered users — 60 percent of whom are Nigerian Millennials — who have saved in excess of $5M since 2016, according to a release.

Groups will be able to choose savings options and goals through PiggyBank.ng’s app and receive automated disbursement of returns across their individual bank accounts, according to COO Eweniyi.
As for how the company assures savers it won’t become another Ponzi scheme, Piggybank.ng and its lead investor point to the startup’s pending banking license with Nigeria’s Central Bank. The company is in the process of acquiring a micro-finance banking license, something LeadPath Nigeria founder Olumide Soyombo confirmed on a call with TechCrunch. He also pointed to Piggybank’s client balances being held with registered banks, which are protected under Nigeria’s own FDIC type banking insurance.
Soyombo will take a role on Piggybank.ng’s board and he’d like to see them open up new options for individuals to input money on the platform. “The agent network business is a huge play we plan to go into. They’ve basically become like human ATMs,” Soyombo said. He referenced Nigerian digital payment company Paga and Safaricom’s M-Pesa with large agent network stations where clients can fund digital accounts with cash.
While digital payments products have caught on in certain parts of Africa, E-Trade type citizen investment platforms have yet to emerge at any scale.
Soyombo doesn’t see Piggybank.ng moving from fixed income investments to equities just yet. “Maybe down the line stocks could be an interesting play, but not right now. People are currently looking for a more risk free place to e-tail,” he said.
Soyombo believes Piggybank.ng has the potential to become an acquisition target.
“They usually only happen in our market with two main players: banks and telcos,” he said. “The banks have been slow to try new things in this savings space. Piggybank is coming in…and filling a particular need, so they are in a very acquisitive space.”
