‘2 TIERS OF JUSTICE’: Rapper’s Lawyer Slams Hunter Biden’s Plea Deal After His Client Served Time For Same Charge
By Cullen McCueJune 20, 2023Updated:June 20, 2023
A lawyer who represented Florida-based rapper Kodak Black slammed Hunter Biden’s generous plea deal as an example of a two-tiered justice system in an Instagram post Tuesday.
Kodak Black was sentenced to three years in prison after accepting a guilty plea to weapons charges in 2020. He was later pardoned by former President Trump during his final days in office, as were several additional rappers, including Lil Wayne. Like Kodak Black, Lil Wayne served several years in prison after pleading guilty to weapons charges.
“2 tiers of justice?” wrote attorney Bradford Cohen in a caption on a side-by-side photo of his client’s prison sentence compared with Hunter Biden’s deal. The president’s son is not expected to serve any jail time under terms of the deal.
“Kodak was charged for the same crime. Got over 3 years. Mr. Biden will not serve a day. Feels right?” Cohen wrote. “Do FBI agents and federal authorities take cases personally?”
Hunter Biden is expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax violations, as well as a felony weapons charge. He is not expected to serve any prison time under the terms of the deal and will accept a pretrial diversion program for the weapons charge.
“DOJ is violating its own internal policies on this case,” said former U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah Brett Tolman.  “The Ashcroft Memo requires they charge the ‘highest provable offense’ and seek consistent sentences with other cases brought by DOJ. This prosecution is an absolute laughable joke. Thousands have been sent to prison for long terms for the same charges.”
In response to the deal, House Republicans have vowed to continue their rapidly intensifying investigation into an alleged criminal bribery scheme involving the Biden family. Both Joe Biden and his son have been credibly accused of accepting a $5 million bribe in a quid-pro-quo agreement to get Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired.
Shokin was investigating the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, where Hunter Biden sat on the board.
The foreign national referenced in an FD-1023 form compiled by a “highly credible” source — who has since been named as a former Burisma executive — allegedly kept recordings of conversations between himself and the Biden family.

..."Republicans had found out a confidential human source told his FBI handler in 2020 about a Ukrainian oligarch saying he bribed Joe Biden. They demanded the Justice Department hand over the so-called FD-1023 form documenting the tip.
In response to a subpoena, the Justice Department said such documents should never be made public, warning it could endanger their sources and that the forms generally contain unverified and incomplete information told to an FBI agent.
“Recording the information does not validate the information, establish its credibility, or weigh it against other information known or developed by the FBI,” Christopher Dunham, from the FBI’s office of congressional affairs, said in a May letter to House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-Ky.).
“The mere existence of such a document would establish little beyond the fact that a confidential human source provided information and the FBI recorded it,” Dunham said. “Indeed, the FBI regularly receives information from sources with significant potential biases, motivations, and knowledge, including drug traffickers, members of organized crime, or even terrorists.”
Republicans did not heed the warning.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) soon obtained the form from an unknown source and posted it on his Senate website. The document described the informant’s account of conversation with Mykola Zlochevsky, head of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, and other Burisma officials. In one conversation, Zlochevsky said he’d paid both Hunter and Joe Biden $5 million in bribes.
The unverified bribery allegation soon became a core part of House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry against the president. The supposed bribe fit a narrative that Joe Biden, when he was vice president in 2015, demanded Ukraine fire its prosecutor general in order to protect Burisma from a criminal investigation. The president’s son, Hunter Biden, held a position on Burisma’s board at the time.
As Republicans put it in a document outlining the basis for their impeachment inquiry last fall, the form alleged “that President Biden directly participated in a bribery scheme involving Burisma.”
Then, last week, the bribe claim collapsed in spectacular fashion when the Justice Department announced charges against the informant, revealing him to be a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen named Alexander Smirnov and accusing him of inventing the allegation because he didn’t like Joe Biden.
“We were warned at the time that we received the document outlining this witness’s testimony. We were warned that the credibility of this statement was not known,” Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), an impeachment skeptic, told CNN on Wednesday. “And yet, my colleagues went out and talked to the public about how this was credible and how it was damning and how it proved President Biden’s — at the time, Vice President Biden’s — complicity in receiving bribes.”
Democrats have called on Republicans to call off their impeachment inquiry.
“They were willing to use anything they could get their hands on to make incredibly bold accusations that now results with them having egg on their face because they knew this was uncorroborated,” Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) told reporters on Thursday. “They knew it was unverified and they knew there was a lot of evidence to the contrary and yet they ran with this.”

Types of investment options in India
When it comes to the different types of investment options out there in India the first name that comes to mind is that of the share market. By investing in the equity market, you can create wealth over a longer time.
Certificate of deposit
Certificates of Deposit are money market instruments issued against the funds that an investor deposits. The money in this case is deposited by the investor in a bank for a specified length of time in a dematerialized form.
Bonds
Bonds are a kind of investment that has become rather popular in India. In this case, the investors lend money to the issuer of the instrument, and in lieu of that the borrower pays them interest at a previously specified rate till maturity.
Real estate
Investing in real estate means buying commercial or residential properties that let you appreciate your capital – you may also get regular rental income from the same. In these cases, the rent serves as a steady source of income for you.
FDs (fixed deposits)
FDs are offered by both NBFCs (non-banking financial companies) and banks and are an exceptional way to grow your money while making sure that you get the highest level of safety with your investment.
MFs (mutual funds)
A mutual fund is one where the issuer of the fund pools money from various investors and then invests it in market-linked instruments such as shares, bonds, or a combination of debt and equity instruments.
PPF (Public Provident Fund)
PPF is supposed to be one of the safest investment options in India and this is primarily because Indian government backs it. You can open a PPF account at any post office or a bank that issues them.
NPS (National Pension System)
This is a highly popular investment option among salaried individuals in India. This is backed by the government of India as well and it is a long-term investment option.
ULIP (Unit-Linked Insurance Plan)
ULIPs are tax-saving investment options and provide you with the added advantage of insurance along with the investment component. Here a part of the premium you pay is used for investments and the remaining amount is used for your insurance.
Apart from these, you have the SCSS (Senior Citizens’ Savings Scheme). No matter which of these you choose it is better to proceed through a trusted service provider such as m.Stock if you want to invest in shares for example.

Safe Investment Options in India: Securing Your Financial Future
Tumblr media
In the ever-changing environment of financial markets, everyone prioritizes ensuring their financial future. For risk-averse investors, navigating the maze of financial possibilities can be difficult. In this tutorial, we'll look at secure investing possibilities in India, specifically for individuals who value stability and security.
Safe Investment Opportunities in India for Risk-Averse Investors
Fixed Deposits
Fixed deposits (FDs) are a traditional option for risk-averse investors. These are low-risk investments in which you deposit a lump sum with a bank or financial institution for a specified period of time and get a predetermined interest rate. FDs offer capital protection and consistent returns, making them a popular alternative for investors seeking a safe haven for their funds.
Mutual Funds
Mutual funds provide a diversified investing approach, making them ideal for risk-averse clients who want their assets managed professionally. With many types of mutual funds accessible, such as debt funds and hybrid funds, investors may select solutions that are appropriate for their risk level. Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) reduce risks by spreading investments across time.
Post Office Savings Scheme
The Post Office Savings Scheme is a government-backed project that offers a variety of savings and investing opportunities. These programs include the Senior Citizens Savings Scheme (SCSS), Monthly Income Scheme (MIS), and Public Provident Fund (PPF). These programs are appealing to risk-averse investors because of the safety and reliability that comes with government support.
The National Pension Scheme (NPS)
NPS is a long-term retirement-focused investment scheme that encourages systematic savings. NPS offers a well-diversified portfolio that includes equity, term deposits, corporate bonds, liquid funds, and government funds. It provides not just financial stability in retirement but also tax breaks, making it an excellent alternative for risk-averse individuals.
Unit-Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs)
ULIPs combine insurance coverage with investing potential. These plans provide flexibility by allowing investors to select among equities and debt funds based on their risk tolerance. ULIPs are becoming increasingly popular as a comprehensive financial product due to their ability to generate wealth and provide life insurance.
Public Provident Fund (PPF).
PPF is a long-term investment option that requires a 15-year lock-in period. This government-backed program offers competitive interest rates and tax breaks, making it a popular choice among conservative investors. The rigorous practice of paying yearly to the PPF assures consistent wealth building during the investing period.
Senior Citizens Saving Scheme (SCSS)
SCSS is a low-risk investment option for seniors that delivers regular income in the form of quarterly interest payments. With a five-year tenure, SCSS provides a consistent stream of income for retirees, making it a good choice for risk-averse persons in their golden years.
7.75% Government of India bonds.
Government bonds are regarded one of the most secure investment alternatives. The 7.75% Government of India Bonds, which have a fixed interest rate, provide both capital protection and regular returns. These bonds are a reliable option for risk-averse individuals looking for a safe haven for their assets.
Conclusion
In the search of financial security, selecting the correct investment option is critical. For risk-averse investors, the stated solutions offer a variety of possibilities, each with its own set of features and benefits. Whether you like the stability of fixed deposits, the diversification of mutual funds, or the broad coverage of ULIPs, there is an investing opportunity for everyone. Understanding your financial goals and risk tolerance allows you to develop a well-rounded investing strategy that protects your financial future. Explore the world of safe investments in India and begin your road to financial prosperity and peace of mind.

A Major Subpoena in the Hunter Biden Case Could Be Issued Soon
Tumblr media
Remember the FD-1023 report the FBI refused to hand over that detailed how Burisma executives paid Joe and Hunter Biden $5 million each until Congress threatened to hold FBI Director Chris Wray in contempt. There’s another file, and it’s one that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), chair of the House Judiciary, wants turned over by January 19. It’s unclear if they will, but knowing how this FBI has operated since 2016, they’ll probably throw a fit, setting up for a potential showdown (via NY Post):
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan is asking FBI Director Christopher Wray to hand over another confidential informant file related to an alleged $10 million bribe that the owner of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings paid to Hunter and Joe Biden.  The March 1, 2017, file from a confidential human source of the bureau may contain “crucial” information to the committee’s investigation of Hunter’s overseas business dealings and impeachment proceedings against President Biden, Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote in a Thursday letter to Wray.  Jordan said the file “resulted in the creation of now publicly available [report], dated June 30, 2020, containing information implicating then-Vice President Biden in a multimillion-dollar bribery scheme,” was “necessary” for his committee’s work and must be submitted by Jan. 19.  The 2020 FBI informant file, released last year by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), contained bombshell allegations that the president and his son “coerced” Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky into paying them each $5 million to get Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired in early 2016.  Jordan added that Judiciary panel members “first learned” of the 2017 file after conducting a transcribed interview with former Pittsburgh US Attorney Scott Brady, who was tapped by then-Attorney General Bill Barr to probe matters related to Ukrainian corruption in 2020.  […]  The 2017 informant file “discussed Hunter Biden” and plans for Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi “to travel to Washington, D.C., in March 2017” but “was not relevant to Burisma’s interest in acquiring a US-based petroleum business for $50-$100 million,” according to the FBI’s source. A source told The Post that Jordan intends to subpoena the informant file if the FBI balks at the Jan. 19 deadline. The bureau’s national press office confirmed receipt of the letter but did not provide further comment.
Recommended
The file from this informant also detailed conversations with Burisma executive Mykola Zlochevsky in 2015-2016, around the time then-Vice President Joe Biden was making his move to fire special prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was looking into the energy company on corruption allegations. Hunter Biden was paid $50,000/month to sit on its board, which we know was only to provide the company with legal protections, which they got with Shokin’s ouster, and access to high-ranking US officials.
The Biden family has set up dozens of shell companies to funnel monies given to Hunter regarding this government access peddling operation. Over 170 suspicious activity alerts were filed among multiple banks, which would have prohibited anyone from operating a bank account. And now we have evidence of direct payments to Joe Biden relating to this scheme, though dressed as a loan repayment. Pieces of the puzzle are there; House Republicans are the ones who will have to piece it together because Democrats and the media sure as hell won’t do it.
While slow and riddled with dementia, Joe was smart to disperse his share of the proceeds through his family. They each hold something and then hand it over when he’s out of the spotlight. He might have gotten away with it if he was smart and opted to stay retired.

10 Best Investment Plans With High Returns in India
Investing your hard-earned money wisely is crucial for long-term financial security. In India, where the investment landscape is diverse and dynamic, it can be challenging to identify the best investment plans with high returns. This article aims to guide you through ten investment options that have shown consistent performance and offer the potential for substantial returns. Remember, while high returns are desirable, it's essential to consider your risk tolerance and financial goals before making any investment decisions.
Mutual Funds: Mutual funds have emerged as one of the most popular investment options in India. By pooling money from various investors, professional fund managers invest in a diversified portfolio of stocks, bonds, or other securities. Equity mutual funds have historically provided impressive returns over the long term, although they come with some degree of risk.
Public Provident Fund (PPF): PPF is a government-backed long-term savings scheme that offers both tax benefits and attractive returns. It has a lock-in period of 15 years, and the interest earned is tax-free. PPF is a low-risk investment option and suitable for individuals looking for long-term wealth accumulation.
National Pension Scheme (NPS): The National Pension Scheme is a retirement-focused investment plan that offers tax benefits. It provides a mix of equity and debt investments, allowing you to choose your asset allocation based on your risk profile. NPS has the potential for high returns over the long term and encourages disciplined saving for retirement.
Direct Equity: Investing directly in the stock market requires knowledge and research. However, it can yield substantial returns if done wisely. By carefully selecting fundamentally strong companies with growth potential, investors can benefit from capital appreciation and dividend income. It is advisable to diversify your portfolio to mitigate risk.
Real Estate: Investing in real estate has been a traditional wealth-building strategy in India. While property prices may fluctuate in the short term, real estate investments generally appreciate over time. Rental income from properties can provide a steady cash flow, making it a lucrative long-term investment option.
Fixed Deposits: Fixed Deposits (FDs) are low-risk investment options offered by banks and post offices. They provide a fixed rate of interest over a predetermined period. FDs are suitable for risk-averse investors who prioritize capital protection and steady income.
Initial Public Offerings (IPOs): Investing in IPOs can be a high-risk, high-reward proposition. Companies going public offer shares to the public for the first time, presenting an opportunity for investors to participate in their growth story. Careful analysis of the company's fundamentals and market conditions is crucial before investing in IPOs.
Gold: Gold has been a store of value and a hedge against inflation for centuries. In India, where gold holds cultural significance, investing in physical gold or gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs) can be an attractive option. While gold prices may experience short-term fluctuations, it has historically provided stable returns over the long term.
Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs): SIPs are a disciplined approach to investing in mutual funds. By investing a fixed amount at regular intervals, investors benefit from rupee-cost averaging and the power of compounding. SIPs are suitable for individuals who want to invest in mutual funds systematically and mitigate market volatility.
Cryptocurrencies: Cryptocurrencies have gained significant attention in recent years. While they offer the potential for high returns, they are also highly volatile and risky. Investing in cryptocurrencies should be approached with caution and only by individuals with a high-risk appetite and a good understanding of the technology and market dynamics.
Conclusion: Choosing the best investment plan with high returns in India requires careful consideration of various factors, including risk tolerance, investment horizon, and financial goals. The ten investment options mentioned in this article provide a starting point for your research. Remember to consult with financial advisors and conduct thorough due diligence before making any investment decisions.
