ahh hello my angels !! so i’ve been eyeing this group for quite a bit, and i couldn’t resist so here i am ! i’m jada, and this is my first child here - na chunja ! she’s the lead vocal & maknae of primera, and an overall handful ! some of her friends call her ambitious, confident, and versatile, but those of less favorable opinions say she’s vein, manipulative, & stubborn ! i’ll leave that up for you to decide, though. if you want to know more about her, click here for her profile. truth be told i’m a bit unprepared so that’s all i have for now, but if you’d look under the cut there’s some wanted connections & info !

she’s always lived comfortably, not chaebol level or anything, but she’s in the upper middle class & has never really struggled, per se ?

originally had dreams to be a cosmetologist, but and eventually create her own makeup line ! beauty’s always been super important to her & she wanted to get into the field.

all that being said, being an idol has never really been everything for her ?? she had alternate career paths, stable income, all that. so that’s where her entitled mindset comes from ! but let’s back up for a minute, back to predebut chunja !

was a lot more naive & bubbly back in the day ! she never imagined she’d get anywhere near the fame she has now, always that she’d just be “the girl who could sing” to her classmates once they’d graduated and that was that. 

but while out shopping with some friends at 16, she was street scouted and asked to audition for so!ar entertainment !! was super ecstatic but confused because like - why did her goofing off with friends scream “idol material ??”

it was only after auditioning that she realized it must have been based on visuals, because while she was confident in her abilities, she saw toooons of other auditions better than hers who didn’t get picked since they didn’t fit the “idol mold”. this was the start of her hate for the industry lmao !

trainee life is what really started reaching her toward the person she is now though ! going into it she was very optimistic, friendly to everyone, & just excited, but she soon learned that training was a dog eat dog type of thing ! to go up, you had to be a little ruthless, and that’s just what she did, started getting more and more competitive.

and then debut came !! she hadn’t been expecting to primera to get anywhere as big as they did. in all honesty, she’d expected to flop like the groups before them had ! once she realized that wasn’t the case though, she started getting veery comfortable in the spotlight.

quickly developed the spoiled princess mindset !! being the maknae of the nation’s girl group, she got used to all the doting & became very vein

while she’s always loved the baby image, a part of her wants to step out of it and be taken more seriously as an artist nowadays !!

she’s also been in the industry for a whole, so she’s seen all the ins and outs, including how corrupt it can be ! honestly she’s so tired of the sexualizing, favoritism, crazy rules, and pointless scandals ! it was exciting when she was younger, but she’s getting to be a true adult now and simply doesn’t have the time for any of it. even amongst primera, she’s aware a lot of groups like impulse didn’t get the shine they deserve because of public favoritism towards primera and she just doesn’t think it’s okay at all !

also she doesn’t like the fact that there’s so much emphasis on visage in the industry, especially since lots of idols seem to be deemed talentless visuals & she just feels like hard work is far more important ! essentially she’s like yes i’m pretty but that’s not that important

and that brings me to my next point - remember i said being an idol wasn’t everthing to her ?? well that still applies ! at this point she’s basically like “you can’t hurt me” & doesn’t take company threats too seriously so she doesn’t have a problem speaking up on things as best she can within contract binds !

actually, she’s been more and more interested in going solo, especially when news about sora leaving broke out. as she’s grown to be more independent, she’s become more interested in more meaningful music & wants to perform things personal to her, and honestly is just tired of the same pop love songs.

alternately, she really just wants to live a normal life nowadays, but that isn’t feasible at all. if she settled down somewhere & tried going to cosmetology school, she knows dispatch would still be watching her everywhere she goes and things can’t quite ever be the same, which is why she’s so frustrated !

buuut she’s also scared of being a flop so !! hasn’t !!

anyway she has two major nicknames among fans - baby empress, because she’s soft in the face but has powerful & commanding vocals ! and cheonsa chunja, which basically translates to angelic chunja because of her gentle features !

as primera’s grown to be the most senior group relevant on the market, she worries they’re moving towards obscurity and soon will lose fan’s interest. she’s spent a decade of her life having fame handed to her on a silver platter,  and isn’t quite sure how to handle things when that’s no longer the case.

in terms of personality, she’s kind of turned into a humblebragger, and just lets fame get to her head !! she knows what she wants & gets very upset when it’s not given to her, and simply wants things her way !! baby star syndrome everyone

also very confident & a little cocky !! it transfers well on stage because stage presence is what she’s best at, yet offstage it can be a little offputting !! like dear god if your muse comes up to her looking for some advice or something she will go into a whole rant about how they paved the way she’s the main reason why i-

bold !! very bold, and unapologetic. she’s romantic, likes to drink, party, all that, and isn’t afraid to say any of it !! also a confident bisexual yet is constantly screaming her affections for girls !! 

along with that - she’s not very good with commitment but !! if she likes you, she will do anything to get you, and that’s just that !

there’s two sides of her - the one she has around people way younger than her, where she’s a little nurturing and puts on the “all-knowing sunbae” facade !! but those around her age / older who’ve known her for a while get the goofier, more transparent side, more like how she was back in the day !

she can do the primera choreography fairly well, but never ask her to do anything outside of it !! she’ll just fail horribly. thank god her charisma is here to save her !!

but she does claim she’s the best rapper out of the vocalist and while i don’t believe it ?? she refuses to take no for an answer !

minsoo comes from a prim and proper family and is the eldest of three siblings. his parents took a lot of convincing before letting him follow his dreams to be an idol - after a lot of sneaking behind their back. they are not supportive of his dream and wished him to follow a more ‘respectable’ career path. 

when he joined so!ar he fully expected to debut in a boy group, but apparently they had other plans for him. it’s a lot different from what he expected, a lot different from what his parents expected from him when they allowed him to audition to several companies. instead of a boy group, he was placed in a co-ed group, something that would totally shock his parents. he hasn’t told them about the group’s debut plans yet, and plans to keep it that way until the last second. 

is he worried what his parents will think of this? yes. is he scared to disappoint them? absolutely. a whole bundle of parent issues and an inferiority complex. very low self esteem, but he’s trying his best!!!

he barely keeps contact with his family, except for his two younger siblings that are very supportive of him. they all feel very suffocated by their parents, and with minsoo following his dream, he is encouraging of his siblings to do the same. he loves them very much!!!!

very jealous of those that have made their debut already, but he is working hard so that his group can succeed when they debut.

he’s worried that his image doesn’t fit with the group, and that he is just dragging his other members down. he is worried about the public’s perception of him.

Born as Rhys Hae in Melbourne, Australia on March 29.

Child of an affair -- his mother Megan Hae (at the time married to Eric Hae; with her husband she owned a successful publishing house) had a holiday romance with an influential businessman, Choi Woong, who also happened to be an old family friend. It had taken her spouse a couple of years to find out Rhys wasn’t his biological kid. He still treated him like his own son, but the marriage came to an end. It was a rough time for Rhys, but he doesn’t remember much of it.

Not long after the divorce his mother married her lover, Mr. Choi, with whom she had another child. Rhys was eight years old when his younger sister was born and... he was not too happy about it. He wasn’t the centre of attention anymore and that fact alone made him pretty unpleasant and difficult to put up with. His parents thought it would pass, but with time it had only gotten worse. In school he was collecting behavior notes like stamps.

When he was fifteen his father went bankrupt. They made a decision to return to South Korea, where they could have a fresh start and live more humbly (what wasn’t right up Rhys’ alley); it was a new environment for him to get accustomed to. In high school he quickly found himself in a group of fellow troublemakers. He soon became the leader of the pack.

Hearing about the So!ar Ent. audition, he figured it was a big chance for him. He always had a flair for music, which he was using as an outlet, but he didn’t want to become an idol to fulfill his dreams, yada yada yada. With poor grades and even worse reputation there was no way he could get into one of the universities his parents praised so much. Besides that, he never wanted to go beyond mandatory education. What he wanted was fame and easy money, and so he assumed it was the way to go.

He debuted in 2017 as the main rapper, lead dancer and vocalist of Di-verse. Thanks to his liveliness and charm gaining his own circle of fans wasn’t much of a challenge. On the stage he presents himself as the so-called boyfriend material aka exactly what fans want to see. But when the cameras aren’t rolling, he’s simply a jerk. Around members he tries to keep his facade, yet sometimes -- maybe even too often -- he lets it drop.

he grew up in a messy household in a very small town/village. got into a fair amount of trouble when he was young out of sheer boredom.

found out that dancing a thing and decided right then that was his life. joined a dancing academy in seoul after countless auditions.

his family didn’t find out until he was 18, when his mom found certain...”explicit” messages with some older guys on a computer they all shared why hwan??

pansaya has always been a great dancer– some even called her a prodigy when she was a kid, taking every sort of dance lesson they offered in bangkok. she joined dance crews. she did competitions. dancing was everything she knew how to do, and everything she wanted to do, for the rest of her life.

she idolized all sorts of dancers, but she especially idolized 1st gen kpop dancers. they looked so cool and fluid, and she became enamored with the whole industry, wanting to get her shot at the same thing. so when she hit high school, she moved to seoul, attending a performing arts high school and busking on the street in her spare time. she attended dance lessons from some of the top choreographers. she filmed and posted poor-quality covers of other choreo on youtube. and somewhere along the way, she finally got the attention of solar. she was perfect for their new girl group that they were planning– she was fresh, undiscovered talent, picked up off the street. even if she did throw the entire height average of the group off (it wasn’t easy being 4'11 and stopping there)

when she finally debuted in primera, she was the dancing queen of the group– it was what she had always wanted. she was also one of the first thai idols to ever debut in south korea, which was an honor– as much as she was harassed for her darker skin and poor pronunciation, she felt like she was setting a precedent. she was the first of what she hoped was many. she hoped she was opening the door for other talented thai kids– not only at solar, but in all of kpop.

things didn’t always stay positive and peachy keen, though. they were worked to death, and with pansy doing some of the most physically exhausting stuff (dance breaks in songs, special dance stages, dance covers on variety), she could feel herself burning out, but pansy refused to break. while her group mates started taking shots at each other, she resigned herself to being the heart of the group. their happy vitamin. their moral compass. she bit back any frustrations she herself had, and was always there for an encouraging word. she was the shoulder to cry on. the cheerleader. she was there to be happy when no one else was.

of course, no one could be happy all the time, and it wasn’t healthy to bottle up your own feelings so much all the time like pansy was doing, and over the year she developed depressive disorders, and self esteem issues. she never let it show, though, keeping that to herself. the rest of her group had their own problems. primera was suffering. she wasn’t going to bring everything down more because she couldn’t handle herself.

she knows about people wanting to pull away and go solo, or just leave the group all together, but she’s not one of them. pansy doesn’t think her vocals are good enough to carry a solo career, and while she is primera’s main rapper, in the grand scheme of things, she’s nothing special. she was just thrown the title when solar decided they wanted primera to have rap breaks, and she knows that. the only thing she’s good at– and she knows she’s good at– is dancing. and there’s not a ton you can do solo with that without regressing and becoming a backup dancer. she has aspirations of someday opening her own dance academy and dance crew and being the figurehead of that, but she’s not going to be one of the people who tears primera apart. those are just pipe dreams. back up plans if primera really does break up.

hanjae was born in ilsan but his parents immigrated to the united states when he was only three years old, so he practically grew up in chicago

while there, he went by his english name--- hayden nam--- and despite his parents’ best efforts to get him interested in math and science in hope of a successful career, he found himself falling in love with dance

his parents paid for him to take dance classes under the condition that he study hard for school and held that over his head as a motivation to get good grades, threatening to make him drop out of dance should he fall below their expectations--- unsurprisingly, he studied his ass off until the last second of his senior year of high school to be sure that they couldn’t take dance away from him

as soon as he graduated, however, all bargaining chips were off the table, and so he sent in an audition tape to a few entertainment companies against his parents’ wishes, ignoring all of his college acceptance letters in hopes that he’d hear back from the industry instead--- solar entertainment seemed to find some potential in him, at least, so he broke the news to his parents and flew back to korea to begin training

the company’s original goal was to debut hanjae as the main dancer of a group under the stage name hayden, which he’d already been going by in america for nearly his whole life, and the closer he got to being matched with a group, the closer he felt to achieving everything he’d ever wanted to do with his life

until the beginning of his third year of training, when he finally utilized a short break to fly back to chicago in hopes of finding his parents’ forgiveness before his debut

while there, he only found himself arguing with them again, and driving through a metropolitan area while upset was just about the worst idea he could’ve had--- he ran a red light without paying attention, and a delivery truck crashed directly into the driver’s side of the car

the emergency room staff found it to be a miracle that he was even still breathing, but rather than being thankful that he was still alive, hanjae was devastated by the news that he may never have his full range of motion ever again

spending time with his parents after that was insufferable, and so he flew back to korea as soon as he was cleared by the doctor to get on a plane, but after the accident he could no longer dance without risk of injuring himself again, so debuting as a group’s main dancer was off the table--- debuting in a group that had choreography at all was a no go for him, really, which devastated him to no end

still, solar’s staff saw something in his voice and in the lyrics scrawled across pages in his journals, so they allowed him to debut as a soloist, focusing on art through lyrics and video concepts rather than through performance as he’d originally planned on

he debuted under his korean name--- nam hanjae--- because hayden was too close to everything that had happened, and he felt as if going by hanjae allowed him to return to his roots and start over as an artist and as a person

cancer / illness tw for this bullet yunjae didn’t win the fourth iteration of kpop star, but that was okay since he had already won the hearts of the south korean public. and they all knew his story. a boy who had always dreamed of being a singer but had spent most of his life in hospital beds, his illness baffling south korean doctors to the point that his family had to leave behind everything they owned or knew so that yunjae could meet the best doctors in america. when he was finally cured, he decided to follow his dreams as a music artist instead of following his peers’ footsteps into higher education. and that was that. it was a kpop industry ceo’s pr wet dream to sign him. it would have been a mistake not to at least try.

of all the contracts he was offered, yunjae chose so!ar’s. in return, so!ar chose yunjae’s stage name, naeil (meaning “tomorrow” in korean, strong brand image is everything), gave him a year of vocal training and fine tuned his song-writing and production skills. they held his hand through handcrafting his own debut single. “don’t forget” performed beautifully on the charts and in sales. and so they let him run loose after that. his first few releases were pretty tame, but have become more and more eclectic and experimental.

his  biological mother, was a teenage runaway and was working as a prostitute when she fell pregnant . 

he lived in america for the first ten years of his life until he moved back to korea.

he was brought up learning, chinese, japanese, english, tha and  . his parents were big travellers and liked moving around a lot especially between japan, south korea, thailand and the UK. which he loved the most. 

so the boy was always taken with them and he made friends everywhere. he wanted to do what his parents did.

his grandmother opted to sign him up for some dance lessons, which he really did get into because it distracted him from the reality without his parents and eventually he was accepted into a small company as a rookie trainee. though he struggled with it, he didn’t dare go against whatever he was told to do. so he put his heart and soul into it instead to try and at least make his grandparents proud, especially when his grandfather passed away after  he turned fourteen.

he struggled with depression and after finding out he was adopted, slowly began developing abandonment issues always and constantly thinking that people are going to discard him

. although he’s always trying to be someone who can be there for others even if he’s feeling like shit so he likes to play prankster instead of showing how sad he actually is and how he feels, and he’d rather deal with it on his own making memes and finding funny things to send people.  

when he was fifteen kai was in a relationship with a chinese idol, for almost two years who was seven years older than him. of course he thought he was ‘in love’ and it took over a year to realise that he in fact was in an abusive relationship and it took him so long to realise.

never physical but he was always being emotionally and mentally manipulated being told what he could and couldn’t do, threats were made to frighten him and he was always criticised in front of the idol’s friends and other trainee’s.

when he turned sixteen, his grandmother died more or less leaving him on his own, but with the information about his biological mother but he was never interested in finding her, knowing that he’d never need too. 

he’s extremely sensitive, and the slightest thing will hurt his feelings but he hides it well and deflects making the situation and himself into the butt of the joke.

despite knowing he can be extremely annoying, kai would do anything for anyone and he’d do it without much thought for himself because everybody else is more important to him.

 he doesn’t want people to dislike him. he’d rather they made fun of him back even if he is sensitive.

he’d just turned eighteen when his contract was bought out and he went to korea again, unsure of whether to be happy about it or not, he’s just glad there seems to be people there that are different race and the fact that he was leaving difficult stuff behind him.

when he ended up as leader of kdi he wasn’t sure what to do, but he worked his ass off to get where he is and he wants them to succeed and he’d do anything for them.

kai dated min for a while too, and eventually they broke up. but he’s still extremely protective of him and he loves him.

what goes on...  i finally got the chance to make my intro post.  so hi meet yunmi!  i’m eya and i’m 18 and i’m from the ph, i’m so excited to plot and write with all of you!

so here are some few stuff about yunmi ( which i’ll add to her bio later when i finally get the chance to stop being lazy ).  so her bio includes mentions of the following ( dysfunctional & broken family,  bullimia,  also mentions of substance abuse ) 

she’s responsible and even without the leader label she definitely acts on it whenever something important comes up and she makes sure that the girls are all in check. yunmi doesn’t fancy calling herself a leader though,  she just really wants to keep things nice and ordely. 

chaotic.  she has a lot of inner issues that’s completely left unopened and she doesn’t know how to open up about them so yunmi always results to joking about stuff she shouldn’t really joke about. 

as a child,  yunmi always thought that she was going to get the love she always wanted from her parents.  she’s a charming girl,  adored by a lot of people too,  and it made her think she’s never going to run short of it. 

but then her mother left and her dad closed off and...  well that’s the start of her turning into someone else beneath the charming and bubbly exterior.

at twelve,  she became a trainee for another company,  yg to be more specific.  however,  yunmi had been tossed to the side,  always reminded that her other trainees are prettier,  more experienced,  and therefore would be most likely to debut before her.  this was the start of yunmi’s inferiority complex and self-esteem issues that never really went away.

she stuck to yg though,  but the longer she was there the longer her issues started to deepen.  she never had a proper conversation with her dad anymore,  only talking to him about bleak and pointless things and never the serious struggles of being a trainee.  

the stress got so bad that she started stress-eating,  and throwing up everything she ate right after because she couldn’t ruin her body.  she knows just how fucked up she is on the inside,  hence the desperation to keep herself looking the best from the outside. 

she had been fifteen when she started underage drinking,  it became a habit,  a bad one so to speak.  she’d go out with the older trainees to chill bars who never asked about her age and she would drink until she’s drunk enough to pass out.  she discovered cigarettes a year later too.

at 18,  she left yg after being in a new girl group roster for too many times and always never getting to debut.  she came to join so!ar as a new trainee,  but not a new person.  she still has her old habits from before. 

when she came to so!ar,  she’s already a top trainee.  the six years she spent in yg definitely paid off because she’s up to par with most of the debuted idols in her new company.  

her habits are still around though,  despite the validation from fans and her groupmates.  she’s just hiding them that well due to her idol status.  

if anyone’s looking for her,  most would find her at the run down building  -  adjacent to their company building  -  smoking.

exes.  yunmi definitely flirts around,  and even gets around when she’s on the mood.  she tries her luck at making serious relationships,  hoping to finally get the love and care she’s seeking from other people,  but she’s too scared of commitment to push through.
