hello everyone! i’m so happy to be taking part in this project! i’m anna (pst), and this is my muse, park chaemi, 22 year old main rapper, lead dancer + vocalist of legacy! if she catches your eye, make sure to like this post so we can get to plotting! ^^

PERSONALITY - ONSTAGE, OFFSTAGE

Chaemi is one to give off badass vibes. On-stage, she’s passionate and lights up the room with her stage presence. She can suit any comeback concept, but is drawn to the darker, sexier concepts. 

On-stage she is polite, letting her members speak before she does. She has a way with words, but doesn’t say much.

Off-stage, she’s similar. She doesn’t have that much of a problem with meeting new people, but will be near those who she knows in a new place. 

She doesn’t like it when people aren’t straightforward, so she tends to be blunt. 

She’s cordial to everyone she meets and is very extroverted and excited around her friends and members.

She loves giving advice, and thinks of her members as family as well. 

She’s also passionate about music, so sometimes her producing gets in the way of her relationship with others.

SELF INTRODUCTION

Chaemi would introduce herself as either ‘happy-go-lucky Chaemi’ or ‘sexy Chaemi’ depending on her group’s concept. 

Her public image wouldn’t be too far from her personality, being both extroverted and introverted. 

She may earn the name ‘Dalmi’ because ‘dal’ means moon in Korean and refers to how the moon changes every night, like how she flips from introverted to extroverted. 

She’d be perceived as slightly intimidating, but just a big softy once you get to know her. 

She’d also be commended on her PDA and love towards her members while talking about them.

As the eldest member of Legacy, she’d feel a need to protect them as well

BACKSTORY

Chaemi’s family of five, (father, mother, older brother, younger sister) each had one artistic ability that they excelled at, whether it be painting, or piano, or graphic design.  Her mother was a painter, and often left her father to carry most of the weight for expenses, taxes, and bills. 

This took a toll on her parents relationship, ending in a messy divorce between an infidel ex-husband and a broken ex-wife with three children. Her father did pay for child support, but it ended up not being enough for four people. Chaemi watched her mother drift from her talents and passion into a 9/5 day job, just to bring in money to support her family. 

As this happened, Chaemi’s growing interest in music and music making went from flowing to dripping, to almost barren. Her mother urged Chaemi to follow her dreams and never let go of them the way she did. Chaemi vowed from age 12 that she’d train and practice to support her family and her mother, who had to let go of who she was to help other people. 

With money that she’d been saving, made from tips she’d get at her job as a waitress to pocket money her dad gave her when she was younger, she attended Seoul School of Performing Arts. There, she made a friend, who would soon become one of her best friends and a fellow idol.

It was tough at first, Chaemi was told that she would not get accepted anywhere with her dance skills and was rejected from PLEDIS, a company where she desired to work at the time. But her passion mixed with her knack for producing music eventually led her to be scouted by SO!AR. She finally was signed and was on her way to becoming an idol! 

She became close friends with other trainees and wanted to debut in a group with them, but any hint of a request was immediately shot down by her company. She still is very close with her friends, who are all idols along side her. 

The reason why Chaemi clings to her members and friends so much is because she never had a complete family experience. Her mother was always worked out of her mind, her brother was working at a convenience store and studying, and her sister was so angry with her father that she poured herself into piano and rarely talked to her family. 

Chaemi wants to feel like she’s part of a family again, so she treats her friends like family. Sometimes this unhinges them, but she has told some of her close friends about the situation between her and her family. 

Though she often shows an ‘I love to be alone’  look to the camera, she cannot go long without her friends. She feels bad for nagging them, but doesn’t know how else to act. She tends to bury her emotions and not address problems, so she struggles with confrontation.

luna is the only child of a former anchorwomen ( jaein moon ) and idol-turned-music producer ( lee hyunwoo ). needless to say, she was the apple of their eye ! their cinnamon apple ! thei-- i’ll stop. 

when luna was nine months old the three became regular cast members of a family variety show ( think ‘superman returns’ ) and the public loved them. just, completely adored their dynamic and most importantly --- luna. 

the family ( and again, most importantly -- luna ) began getting commercial offers left and right. and then, when luna was five, she’d got offered her first movie role. her parents, not looking to pressure their daughter into anything, asked her if she wanted to do it and she said yes ! after all, what child doesn’t want to play pretend ?

she became the child actress, almost every movie or drama she was in won awards, she occasionally sung osts, and homegirl was just living the life tbh

then she kind of just, fell off the face of the earth ?? no one really knew what happened as there was no official announcements or anything, until someone photographed her entering solar’s building with her dad ( who, fun fact, is a producer at solar :D ) and rumors began to fly. like, is she going to act again? is she going to debut in a group? ( spoiler: the answer is neither. )

she did meet with the company with the intentions of joining as an actress, however her father and the ceo talked her into becoming a vocal trainee. not looking to disappoint her dad, she took the offer

she trained approximately for one year and eleven months. hardly ready, but the company -- with a little push from her father -- decided to just, sorta... throw her to the wolves lmao

her debut was fairly successful, with people checking the song out purely due to recognizing her name but she wasn’t really established as an artist in the public’s eye until her third year + first ep, across the lunaverse. the title track reached #3 on the charts !

things were going great, until she went on a hiatus that lasted two years - there was never a clarification for why but luna has hinted it was due to poor mental health. when she came back with her 2nd ep in 2016, she kinda ??? acted like the hiatus never happened and she’s since been #onthegrind

cho nayu was born on november 12, 1997 to two teenage parents who were definitely not ready to have a child.

her dad left her and her mum just before she turned one, something about deciding that he didn’t want to be tied down to something he wasn’t prepared for, she’s resented him ever since.

as a result her mother has been super protective over nayu to the point where she found it suffocating to live in her own home.

nayu’s mum pretty much forced violin on her seeing as she had to give up her dreams to have her and tries to live vicariously through her daughter and thus nayu’s aversion to classical music and rebellious nature was born and a lot of drinking, partying and tattoos later she’d found the perfect alter-ego to her mother’s depiction of her.

growing up she kept her love of music but focused it more on alt-pop, rock and rap, choosing to secretly learn the guitar and going out to auditions for various companies in order to live out some far-out dream of being a singer.

when she was 17 her mother found out what had been going on and the two had a massive fight resulting in nayu leaving home and having to live with a good friend until a company had finally accepted her.

after joining luminate, and later solar, she’d found herself enthused by rap the most and is lowkey displeased about solar pushing her into a more vocal position as of recent.

personality-wise i’d say nayu is definitely an extrovert, making most of her choices on the whim and mostly for her own good, leaving her to appear more selfish than she is but she does what she does to ensure that she lives the life she wants after being smothered for most of her life.

han jaeyi, born on august 1, 1989 in seoul and lived there her whole life.

her parents forced her to learn english when she was 12 since they thought she will be moving with them overseas later on in life.

but nope she moved out right when she turned 18 and has been doing fine. 

she has a rocky relationship with her parents ever since she moved out and doesn’t really talk to or see them unless it’s important occasion. 

jaeyi says she’s loyal until the trust is broken. but lets be honest, she will forgive you if you just said the word sorry. she’s too forgiving and it lead to people taking advantage of her. 

talking about her looks, she likes to change it up her hair color once in a while. her current hair color is blonde. 

after decided she wanted to be a manager of some sorts, she was at a different company and gaining experience for several years up until 2014 when she wanted join a different company. her boss heard her talking about it and helped her get a connection and an interview at so!ar. 

i would like to saw she’s pretty outgoing. she just wants everyone to feel comfortable and alright, but that can also lead her to seem very nosy and fake. 

she hasn’t been at so!ar entertainment for that long compared to the other managers so she’s still learning the ropes of working there. everyday it’s something new and she’s determined to learn everything as fast as she can go.

from her past and what she has experience, she started being selfless a lot more and she downplays her emotions a lot. 

basically she bottles up her feelings and thinks that other people’s emotions and needs are more important that hers.

sora is the first person she is managing since she joined so!ar. so it’s clear that jaeyi wants to do the absolute best.

she wants to be the friend sora can lean on even on the days that jaeyi is feeling overwhelmed with her.

she is patient with sora and is able to hold it in, but the bottle might burst one day and all the unspoken words and just negative thoughts that have slipped into jaeyi’s mind more than once will just come flowing out.

a little fact is that she carries around a personal journal to keep track of what sora needs and it basically helps her be sane.  

i probably didn’t explain all her traits well and all, but i would like to keep it open and see what i can do once she starts interacting with the others and stuff like that.

she works really hard to be a good dancer and singer, since she was scouted for her charisma, not her talent

she speaks fluent korean, but she has a slight accent because she is japanese

she loves to dress in pretty clothes, and she’s very confident about her looks

born in seoul, sunyi always had a inclination towards music 

she grew up around it, her parents both opera singers respectively 

she learned the craft from a young age often spending her nights after school in the seoul arts center watching her parents perform 

her future seemed set out for her, she would carry on the family legacy and be an opera singer just like her parents 

but the times when she wasn’t with her parents or at school she was watching hours on end of idol performances and dreaming of standing on stage like that 

she loved opera and classical music but she wanted to do more than just be a revered vocalist, she wanted to make people happy 

but knowing her parents wouldn’t want her to she kept her dream to herself and ended up enrolling at seoul institute of the arts as an opera major

unfortunately while her vocal skills were incredible her dancing skills weren’t up to any par

 she is the product of a hookup, her parents barely knew each other much less loved each other, but married once sunhee’s mother found out she was pregnant

born on January 6, 2000, in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China, Liqin is an only child of the Cai’s

his family has always been in the limelight of fame: his mother, Cai Melin, is a model turned actress, known for her roles in several renown dramas and films, and his father, Cai Rui, is an actor, starring in many international films

with fame, came high expectations from his parents, regarding on how he should act, what he should do, and who to be friends with; basically, his life wasn’t really in his hands, practically raised to be the best of the best and failure isn’t an option; hence, his perfectionist nature.

born in japan, miyumi’s family wasn’t rich by any means. her parents both worked full time and all of their wages went on her and her elder sister - there was no treating themselves, everything they earned, they earned for their girls. while they did wish that they had more so that they could give them more, they had each other and that was a priceless thing.

although she didn’t come from riches, the girl was very rich in personality. she loved being different, dancing like no one was watching when they were and even if her moves were a little questionable, they brought a smile onto the oberver’s face. she loved seeing other people smiling and she loved performing so she was destined to be in some sort of entertainment industry.

her sister used to love to tease her about liking kpop; why the girl wouldn’t listen to jpop along with her when she couldn’t even understand the music she was listening to, she’d never know! however, her elder sister did take care of her and would always stand up for her if things weren’t right. as miyumi was a little different, she was a prime target of bullying and there was nothing she could do about it.

miyumi taught herself how to dance from watching kpop stars on the internet. she wanted to be just like them but had no idea how to get there... she had dreams, ones that were a little obsessive but she had this unexplainable desire to be like them was always there.

as she talked about her dream, the girl was bullied more and more harshly until she felt unsafe and became a lot more reserved. she didn’t understand why people thought she was embarrassing or why they made fun of her - it was hard to shrug it all off so she would just shut down and cry in her room every night. she wanted to become an idol, to prove that she was worth something but with hardly any money, that seemed less and less likely.

after months and months of begging her parents, they took her to a so!ar entertainment audition in japan. she gave it her absolute all and while she wasn’t on anyone’s technical level, the company did see a little special something in her and they wanted her with them. she had never been trained and that was clear to them but she had rhythm, passion and she didn’t shy away from bolder moves; she was going to do great things there as a trainee.

miyumi couldn’t speak any korean when she came here - she only knew korean lyrics and this was a great problem for her. she would give the brightest and biggest smile, then nod, but not everything was position so this just created frustrated people. she did use other japanese trainees as a crutch as they had been here longer and could speak korean. she was so grateful that they helped her.

she’s still learning it and while she has improved, she’s nowhere near perfect. however, she would focus in her dance and would become great. the girl worked hard as she wanted to make it. she studied so very hard to understand korean and she’s still learning every single day. there’s always something to learn and she will never stray from that.

when she made the group, valetta, it felt surreal to her. she cried tears of joy, literally. however, some of the other trainees who didn’t make it were jealous so now she’s paranoid that everyone wants her to fail when that’s not the case. she’s turned into one of the more shy trainees that relies on her seniors to help her.

miyumi is still at the point of keeping herself to herself in her group - she’s scared of being how she used to be and being ridiculed once more; if only she would realise that her old personality is desirable in this industry.
