For such a violent Aeon, Nanook was a quiet soul.
Many of your conversations were one-sided, with you rambling about your day while Nanook merely listened and observed, occasionally playing with your hair or poking at you - much like a cat, you'd often say. Whenever you mentioned that to them, they'd only respond with a comforting rumbling of their chest, which was their version of a chuckle.
You laid on your side in their large palm, the Aeon currently occupied with other matters - most likely implanting another Stellaron in some unfortunate planet. Rings of molten gold glowed above you, some of that glowing liquid dripping down in waterfalls of melted metal. But you paid no matter to that.
Instead, you focused on tracing lines on the Aeon's palm, fascinated with the folds and scars that spanned over their dark skin. Beneath those thin stretches of skin glowed the golden blood of Nanook, much like a lantern. When you pressed your ear against them, you could briefly feel a pulsing beat against your head - Nanook's heartbeat.
You hummed to yourself, a sweet melody drifting through the endless void. When Nanook was busy, it was in your best interest to keep quiet. Any distractions, and Nanook might accidentally kill you instead of a planet (it's happened before).
It took a few moments of pure silence before you noticed a pair of eyes trained on your body. Knowing that there was only one other person in this space, you rolled over to meet Nanook's gaze.
You couldn't see the entirety of Nanook's body from where you were, but you didn't mind. The honey-like amber of Nanook's eyes was enough to enrapture you - no matter how many times you saw it, you were fascinated by their beauty each time.
The Aeon rested their head on one of their hands, leaning into their palm as they watched you - a hint of fondness making its way onto their expression.
You smiled cheekily up at the Aeon whose name sparked fear into the hearts of countless.
"Enjoying the view?" you teased. Nanook raised a brow.
"And if I am?" they mused. Their voice was low, yet unbelievably loud. It rumbled throughout the galaxy, both soothing and overwhelming to your ears.
Rather than replying, you sat up and beckoned towards them, making grabbing motions with your hands. Obliging, Nanook lifted you to their face so that you could touch them.
Their skin was warm like a fireplace under your skin. Nanook's eyes fluttered closed as you kissed their nose and nuzzled against them. A smile flickered onto their lips, but it was gone as fast as it had come.
"You know," you hummed, "for an Aeon of Destruction, you're awfully gentle."
"Only for you."
You chuckled, pressing your forehead to theirs as they tilted their head down. "Quite adorable too."
You didn't see it, but you knew Nanook was rolling their eyes at you. But you didn't really care. All that mattered right now was this moment, a silent yet intimate night among the cosmos.

A WARLORD'S SOLITUDE
nanook, an eldritch, ancient mystery of destruction, had been playing as the puppeteer of death all over the continent since ancient times. a being, involved in the horrors of the world with one simple goal; to destroy and decay life. however, the day he decided to wreak havoc, his eyes wavered at the sight of a familiar figure, you.

You couldn't be more mesmerized.
The dread in his face couldn't compare to the ones that witnessed his glorious, aurate form.
He was brilliant, a transcendent being, and he was an Aeon who was filled with mixed emotions of fear, love and confusion.
He looked more terrified than the mortals that ran for their lives beneath his wavering gaze, as the lustrous, golden irises landed upon a creature whose familiarity was certain, and it had shook the Aeon's core deeply.
The divine being was left with intensifying feelings of fear, his chest dripping with golden liquid, leaving out of him just like his shaky breath.
You were there, standing and taking witness to the golden-colored darkness, taking in a situation that will be left recorded in the history books. Your eyes hover and dilate upon a figure that was twice the size of a mountain, the once blue and calm moon that illuminated the world, was now enveloped with a golden hue, assumingly so from the revered Aeon's sudden appearance.
You trembled at the sight of the renounced being that was loathed, feared and looked down upon — but you didn't feel fear, you felt undeniably drawn to its sudden presence in an artistic way, you were always quite an explorer. Your fear of the unknown made your surroundings feel uneasy about you, a beautiful human, that was filled of eccentricness.
In your trembling hands were a coal-tip pen and a thin book with contents of your accumulated sketches, you couldn't hear the deafening screaches of terror as the crowd runs to the opposite of where you were walking towards, it was art or nothing.
It was either to create a masterpiece for future artists to take and witness, or nothing.
Nothing mattered except the heavenly sight that was bestowed upon your eyes in this moment, you were transfixed, in awe, as your irises gloss upon the gold that was within his dark complexion, his long braids that destroyed an ecosystem in mere seconds and beneath him was that of a crater.
You continued to stare at the giant, drunk with inspiration — his golden, translucent, and glowing eyes, filled with a confusion of depair reeling you in deeper as you wondered about that seemed uncharacteristic of an Aeon, but you didn't dwell long on the thought as your hands starting to move on its own, beginning to draw your heart out while your head kept glancing back and forth repeatedly towards the coal-filled page and godlike piece you were drawing, your feet, bringing you to him as you continued to draw, unfortunately, you were finally deemed crazy by the people running for their lives, momentarily eyeing your actions, bringing them a millisecond of confusion, before continuing to sprint from the grasps of death.
“ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?! RUN DAMMIT!”
One said looking over to you with a mixture of panic and anger in his expression, his volume of voice minimizing as he ran away from the deathly scene. People continued to run from the hauntingly glorious sight, pushing one another in a panicked flurry, the sounds of their stomping, shaking the earth.
A majority of eyes had forced themselves onto you, physiques mostly dodging your still body in their attempt of preservation for their loves, except when—“F-... Fuck!” A person from your village knocked into you, resulting in your book of sketches, falling down onto the dirt as a wave of feet stomped on it repeatedly.
A turbulent of emotions raged within your heart, the feelings of heartache and despair surfacing physically as your eyes glisten with tears, bringing a hand to your mouth with shock from the thought of years of progress and creation, crumbling to dust with such a simple yet cruel act.
Nanook reacted to the spectacle, the sight of your grimace in your face, snapping him out of his thoughts, his protective instincts kicking in as the tip of his finger reaches out towards your direction, his burning ambers on the sight of the village — or more specifically, the man whom caused you pain.
A striking sharp sound ensued from the heavens, the nightly sky flickering with a golden hue repeatedly, the dark sky was like a canvas as lighting marks decorated the ether. You reacted, raising your head towards the source of the noise, your glistening eyes glimmered at the event, causing your despair to a sudden halt, replaced with excitement and artistic intuition from the ethereal sight before your eyes.
Suddenly, golden rays of light from the heavens came crashing down vertically towards the earth with intense velocity and speed, raining glorious hellfire upon the land surrounding you with a blinding light that forced you to cover your eyes. Even then, you were beyond satisfied with the thought of dying to such a disaster, it was a beautiful chaos.
The art before you made you speechless, and it filled your heart and mind with bliss as you feel the heat surrounding you closing in, the light almost engulfing and grazing your skin.
You were ready, you were happy and satisfied to perish within a beautiful aurora of gold.
You liar.
A deafening silence followed shortly after the intense, crackling sounds of power and despair. Confusion welled up inside you as you were still able to feel the nightly breeze grazing your skin, hugging your form, trembling in the sudden dread of cold air lapped around you.
You open your eyes slowly, reluctantly, revealing a gorey sight, a field of grim and lifeless art surrounding you. The hateful village that you once knew, had fallen apart, a future ruin that is now left as a remnant for future inhabitants of the world, a fragment of a history laid to waste by the Aeon of Destruction, who stayed and proved true to his myth.
“You're not real,” the Aeon, who bathed and dripped in gold, voiced out with a solemn, shaky tone.
The once giant of a man that shook the earth, was now of a size of a human adult male, and he was walking towards you, the gold from his figure and his steps, dripped down on the bloodied floor of lifeless bodies, leaving a trail of golden liquid before stopping just respectfully before you.
How could you possibly react to the situation at hand? Such a destructive, force of nature, shakily uttering your name with undertone of despair, the sight of his beautiful, ornate eyes dilating, studying you, memorizing you.
Myths that you had a hard time believing from your continuous torment from others, praying and hoping to be enlightened and saved— now being preyed upon with such power under his watchful gaze.
“H-How did you-” You voice cracked, heavy confusion accompanied with slight fear were apparent in your whole being.
How did he know your name? Why were you alive? Why was he looking at you this way? Why did I only get spared?
You continued to overthink, your mind racing with thoughts.
The great Nanook, who painted your only home in red and ashes.
The great Nanook, who inflicted countless of deaths, disasters and terror since the beginning of time. He was the true form of destruction and despair himself.
Yet, that gaze... It wasn't befitting of a God.
Nanook looked at you with such an almost unrecognizable look, unfathomable emotions in his eyes, wavering at the sight of you, his beautifully constructed face faltered into the depths of similar to a heartache, weeping in gold within his eyes while the memories from his over lived lifetime continue to hit him like a celestial disaster that would engulf the whole world, his whole world... being you.
The you who was so familiar to him, the you that would bring back countless memories about love wnd happiness, the you who left within his arms in your previous life eons ago, the light in your eyes leaving, dreading him from ever loving again. Reincarnation was a mystery even to destruction himself, some would reincarnate after death, some would take millennium, eons, or a lifetime.
And yet, there you were, a fragment of himself, and he felt whole again, witnessing such a miracle, seeing you again, so close yet so far to him.
“Aeon,” you called out to him in a hushed voice, your face filled with confusion and fear replaced with concern and worry because your gaze landed upon the golden liquid, cascading down from his saddened eyes.
Nanook, flinched to your voice, the sound reverberating within his ears, causing his heart to flutter to your dearly missed chords.
It was different, but it was yours.
He'd only stiffen up, dilating irises staring longingly into yours, having intense, overwhelming feelings of confusion, aching, a deep longing for none other than you.
You weren't the her that he knew, but you were still the soul that he ached for and cherished. He brought a hand to his head, exhaling short, heavy breaths instead of audibly sobbing despite the golden tears that stained his cheeks.
The Aeon was both smitten and terrified at the sight of you, his eyes glossing over every feature that existed before his eyes, cherishing every millisecond with you. He took several deep breaths, composing himself before taking another step forward to you.
“D- Don't come any closer-...” You said in a panic, taking a step back simultaneously as fear began to creep back within you again.
“Please...” You continued, your voice starting to tremble, you had expected him to not listen, since, he was after all—a being of decay and havoc, but instead, you witness him flinch to your words, his heart shattering from your desire to make him stay disganced, retracting his reaching hand from you and standing in place as he stares at you with a visible faint frown.
“Do you... Do you know me?” You asked, steadying your quickened breath as you steel your gaze towards him, looking for answers, keenly observing his body language and facial features with the accumulated skill you had as an artist.
Nanook was silent for a few long moments, taking deep shaky breaths, he was starting to calm as well, finding solace in your voice, savoring it this time more intensely, not wanting to part from the existence of you again.
“It... It matters not flowe-”
“It does, and you know it.”
You cut him off without missing a beat, your courage returning, confident that he won't be able to hurt you—having that identified from the way he was acting.
The firmness of your tone accompanied with your unwavering gaze, caused him to look away to the side, his cheeks beginning to heat.
It was all so closely familiar to him, the way your voice rang with a firm, fearless tone, the way you would hold your ground in every situation even if risked your precious life, the way he knew of your unquenchable curiousity and wonder, the way your plump lips frowned to him, as fragments of memories continue to overwhelm him, flickering in his mind.
“Aeon Nanook,” you called out to him again but with alias name, echoes of his name replaced the silence with no response from him.
He couldn't respond.
Instinctively, you began to pace forward to him as your curiousity began to grow—remembering the spectacle before this situation, on how the air filled with an aurora of gold, the air, filled with shimmering particles of the same color that was flowing all over his body, his well carved, toned and physique that you couldn't help but glance to it every now and then, your womanly and artistic senses battling each other in your internal struggle
And the nickname for you? Flower? Why does he act in such a manner? What does he—
“You are aware of my prominence and alias, yet you continue to call me by my title,” he'd intercept your thoughts, trying to sound like his normal, glorious self, but the sight of you accompanied by your voice was too much for his fluttering heart, the beads of his sweat trickled along his neck, the darkened hue all over his cheeks that had spread to his ears the moment you stepped several paces closer towards the higher being—and that confused, but intrigued you even more.
The latter was winning.
“Then,” you said, before stopping before him, a safe yet risky distance as the gap between was far more lesser.
“Your eminence, Nanook of Destruction...” he stiffened as you call out to him, simultaneously placing a hand to your chest, your gaze locked and piercing as your fear completely diminishes from your body, replaced with overwhelming curiousity, and determination.
“Forgive me for my insolence, but if I were to die, I'd rather be informed,”
He could never hurt you.
“You have spared me, even upon laying waste on the land I once called my home, your brilliant attacks managing to—not once, move towards my way,” you've arrived just infront of him, a genuine frustration apparent in your expression.
“Why.”
The toughness of the situation may have affected your senses right now, but you could have sworn you heard him curse under his breath seeing his mouth part slightly, his bangs covering his face as he tilted his flushed face down, but you didn't dwell on it further as you were brimming with a desire for questions.
The blush remained on his face, his eyes narrowing to you, causing you to retract back a few steps away, the reality returning to you that you were current demanding a being far from the mortal grasp, your grasp.
You didn't know, but his head spun from the flood of emotions and memories of the past, and your actions tipped him over the edge, causing him to get drunk with overwhelming love, affection and lust for you, the golden liquid all over him starting to boil, looking towards the earth beneath the both of you.
He was reduced to a weak man as of right now.
“I...” He cleared his throat, his gaze returning to yours as his body language tells you all kinds of information, and dammit, everything was an itch to your brain as to how illogical the situation was.
“Flower...” There it is again.
“You wouldn't believe m-”
“I speak with an individual who is considered to be a myth at the moment, try me,” you interrupted again, showing the firmness of your question and decision, and he was so absolutely smitten by you once more, falling in love all over with you again, a personality that he missed so much, causing his heart to blare, interrupting his internal thoughts, thoughts of how to answer you.
You then take a step forward once more, your eyes never leaving his, and if you walked two more paces, towards him, you would've been within his personal space, not that he would mind.
“A supreme being, speaking to me as if I were someone dear to you, sparing me from the demise of your powerful feats. A manifested concept of destruction, gazing—carrying this heavy tone similarly to a man who's utterly lovesick towards a maiden he admires from afar.”
You weren't far from the truth.
You then narrow your eyes to him, closing the distance once more with one more step, looking up to the towering sunlight of a man before you.
“Forgive me talking in such a way that would invoke discomfort towards you, but I want to address the illogical problem—you continuing to call me a name like I am a person so familiar and so close to you.” At this point, he couldn't hide the flush in his face anymore from the almost closeness between you two.
You're just so...
Nanook continued to gaze downwars to you, listening to every word you're saying intently, your strong will, courage and curiousity that he was all too familiar with, finding you absolutely adorable and alluring—but he won't admit that, at least not for now.
“Reincarnation, my flower. It is because you are, familiar,” he took a deep breath, lowering his gaze.
“So very familiar and known to me...” his voice trails, you noticing the trembling of his lips.
You were so, so close.
He bathed in your familiar scent that was addicted to before, and taking a whiff of it after so long, he seemed drugged, dazed wnd intoxicated.
His eyes starting to haze as well as his mind, savoring the closeness of the two of you. His dazed, loving gaze continued to study and savor you like a revered, famous artwork, amused by the visible disbelief and contempt on your expression that he caused.
You felt out of touch from the emotions you were experiencing, every emotion you were feeling were so foreign to you, and it was a scary yet thrilling experience.
You didn't want to melt to the nickname he kept calling you, you didn't want to react to his sweet, rich voice, talking to you like you were the best thing in his whole, supreme existence, but your body betrayed you, showing the faintest hint of a blush, starting to show.
You didn't process the information he uttered out to you, you couldn't, and you didn't want to, even if you knew it wasn't a lie, since it came from an Aeon especially.
The fact that you knew the meaning behind his body language, the way you tried being oblivious to his facial expressions, his flushed out face, and the way his gaze would make you feel so special and wanted.
You didn't want to come to a correct conclusion, you didn't want logic to... logic. Perhaps some other Aeon of Life and Death were playing a sick game towards the both of you.
The astronomical luck of this Aeon, as well as yours, meeting you in this era, this lifetime, was most, most absurb.
You couldn't fanthom it, and the thought of being intimate with such a destructive force of a being like him, doing all of those things together.
Fuck, you then quickly turn around from him, feeling your cheeks grow hot, resulting in Nanook to jolt, your actions bringing him back to reality as your back was now faced towards him.
He has killed and ceased many souls, he has caused endless death and destruction for eons and eons of his existence, his sole purpose was and is to take and destroy, being a puppeteer to his Emanators and subjects who did his deeds for him. He was a feared and revered being, he is a glorious, beautiful being whom destroyed your village, he would most likely continue to lay destruction if it hadn't been for you, and—
Your mind contined to wander about, your cheeks continuing to feel hot as the red tint finally revealed itself, spreading to your ears.
“Flower—?”
“Why... Why do you continue to call me that—!”
You hissed, your voice came out high pitched, reducing the aggressive tone you originally wanted, but you couldn't help it, you were feeling yourself fluster further for the wrong reasons.
“I- I don't know you... I can't perceive you in such ways,” you say meekly, lowering the volume of your voice.
Hm?—“What ways, do you speak about flower?”
The Aeon mused, walking to your side, tilting his body down and taking a glimpse of what was happening, the moment he saw your mirrored blush, he felt more alive than he already is as his lips curl into a faint smirk, placing his hand onto the top of your head, rubbing your head gently and affectionately, and since he knew you through and through, he most definitely knew you were in denial about the facts that even you yourself didn't want to accept, because you were such a smart woman, such a lovely, lovely intelligent woman whom he cherished dearly.
He would've included you within his golden auroras of death if he wanted to harm you. He would've already killed you even after you somehow escape from the attack if he wanted to. He wouldn't be patting your head so lovingly if he wanted to cause you pain. Why would you let him touch your hair even? Why did you want to get closer to him? Why would he—
“Love,” He muttered to you, not realizing his mouth was near your ear, causing shivers down your spine as a soft yelp escapes your mouth in shock from the new cute name along with his actions.
“Shall I continue to inform you? I assume your... thoughts are currently running with a vast amount of things, correct me if I'm wrong,”
His usage of coyness only continued, having your confidence wavered—intentions of breaking that wall of strength, just like him when you managed to tame him.
“You can resist me,” the hand from the top of your head currently wasnow tracing down along your nape, his thumb brushing along your skin, the warming of your skin being felt as your cheeks burn further.
He certainly knew how to make you feel, he'd know how to rile you up, whether it'd be wholesomely, or sinfully, he knew you through and through, at least—the soul harboring the current body of yours that is, and all that could be achieved by none other than him, and him only.
“Nanook...” You call to him, soft and vulnerable, turning your head towards him, revealing your uncontrolled reddened face, your expression trying to not show any signs of weakness to him.
His gaze softened further, the sight of you causing him to chuckle as his deep, rich laughter felt so pleasing to your ears, not helping you in your situation.
“Even-... Even if I was reincarnated as you said, I-I don't know you,” he moved closer, needing to hear you, wanting to hear you.
“At- At least not like in the life that you and I were...” You attempt to look away, your face sunken, dusted with a deep, visible blush, showing such a side that spiked Nanook's heart rate, along with yours
Neither of you were dumb, nor ignorant.
Both of you were intelligent enough to know that there was a lingering air of attraction and warmth surrounding the two of you, despite the you in this lifetime not knowing absolutely anything about him, be it his personality, the intimacy you two shared, and what you cherished most, emotional vulnerability.
The thought of being lovers, being so heavily intimate with such an attractive, powerful being left you pondering deeplyyou, making you wonder about all kinds of things as your cheeks remained heavily flushed.
You then flinch, the feeling of his hand formerly on your nape, now moving down towards your lower back, wrapping his hand to your curves, gently and sensually caressing it.
“You're right,” His other hand then reaches up to your chin, making you face him as his face grows near to yours.
“And yet... you aren't resisting my advances as of this moment, why is that?” He hummed, his smirk remaining on his face, knowing he caused your head to spin and fluster you into the depths of warmth and affection, but he was also absolutely experiencing euphoria along with you, experiencing so much happiness and warmth from your familiar presence that had always had such a strong effect on him.
He was acting coy and smug, masking that unconditional, unwavering deep love and affection that he had for you, previously buried until forgotten, except his all of his weaknesses began to starting to resurface, having trouble discerning if it was good or bad, but—the only thing that felt good, was him basking in delight from your presence again.
He was right though, why weren't you rejecting his touches? His forward advances? The way your cheeks would flush deeper he speaks in such a loving tone that caused your heart rate to spike its pace, the way he would brush his thumb across your chin as he held it, gazing lovingly upon your face with a warm smile that you almost melted to.
He most definitely saw you before this whole situation erupted, he saw your familiar eccentricity, he saw the way your eyes gleamed whilet you passionately drew your heart away to the sight of him, he saw the familiar wonder and the way your eyes would shimmer, seeing him in the reflection in your eyes amongst the chaos he previously cause, and... since you assume he knew you through and through.
Does that mean he accepts you?
“Does this mean you accept me?”
You thought aloud, your lips parting to say your uncontrollable thoughts as your eyes continue to gloss over his face, emotions welling up within you.
He accepted you before then? He accepted the way you are? He accepted the parts where you yourself loathed along with the people who casted looks of disdain and unease to you? He accepted the you that was true and weird? All your flaws, and he loves m—?
“And love you, yes.” His words interrupting your thoughts simultaneously, gently pulling your face closer to his with his fingers, his warm breath grazing upon your trembling lips as he smiled so warmly and affectionately towarss you.
“You may not know me in this life, you may not know who I am from within, but believe me when I say this,” He then leaned forward, tilting down his body to match your height, thus presses his lips against your forehead, his soft and warm lips lingering for a few long moments before reluctantly pulling back.
“I have made a promise to you since then, that if I had ever encounter your lovely soul once more and that I have—even in another lifetime, the next one after that, and until my existence is eradicated from existence, until then, I would make you mine. Over and over and over,”
“Do you understand me, love?”
“That... and is there a problem with getting to know me again?” He added, coyly, affection imminent, rubbing his thumb along your bottom lip, staring at it with an intense loving gaze, biting his own as love filled lustful thoughts seeped into his mind, reminiscing the memories of intimacy.
Ah, his cock underneath pulsed, twitching slightly under his white drapes from the reaction of your lips. Your quivering, plump lips were already moist just by his touch, as a soft whimper escaped your mouth from the heavily intimate gesture he was demonstrating to you.
Your took a sharp, shaky inhale from his loving, impactful words. You didn't know this man, you didn't had anyone look at you, care for you, love you, cherish you, look at you in such a way that everything started to feel blocked out. It was only you and him that existed in the both of your spaces.
The both of your hands travel to his wrist, moving his hand towards your cheek, closing your eyes as you savor and melt into his palm, his thumb continuing to rub against your moist lips.
“You're beautiful, you are.” His pupils turned into hearts just looking at your own gesture, accepting his advances and the intimacy between the two of you.
“You really, really are,” bathed in affection and warmth, an unspoken agreement of a certain love and lust filled and surrounded the two of you.
A vast majority wished to experience the intensifying love these two had, despite their heavy, heavy differences. A mortal, and an Aeon, the Aeon of Destruction in specific. It was a bizzare sight again.
The ground shook, a rumbling was heard in the distance, your moment of loving was cut short, interrupted, as sounds of yelling in the distance catches both of your attention, turning both of your heads to the source of the noise with annoyance and confusion, only to realize the people whom worshipped under other Aeons, a faction whom dedicated themselves to destroy anything and everything about the path of destruction, arrived with an overwhelming multitude of armies, shaking the soil both of you stood on as the skies above them also had soaring fleets, moving towards you and the Aeon.
Nanook's eyes narrowed in annoyance, clicking his tongue to the sight, extending his hands towards the direction of the interruption in an instinct as the golden liquid slithered from his chest to his hands in veiny, lighting marks that appeared all over his extended arm, the tip of his finger radiating a sudden black orb of what seems to be a black hole, the orb surrounded with his signature golden liquid, accompanied with a golden mist and—“Nanook!” You grabbed and placed yourself upon his arm, lowering it as you look to him wincing from the uncomfortable sensation of the golden marks touching against your skin, you shook your head frantically, before speaking to him.
“Don't, please.” He took a fleeting moment, processing your words and pondering deeply to himself. A defeated sigh escapes mouth from the pleading tone and glistening eyes of yours, his gaze softening shortly after as his other free hand grabbed you by the waist, holding you tightly against him, before pointing the summoned black orb of space to the nightly atmosphere, sending the orb soaring up to the stars, his gaze lowering to the armies and fleets that were moving quickly towards the both of you.
“And flower, I'll also get you a new book to draw on as an apology to destroying your home.” He smirked, teasing you as he snapped his fingers, the orb dissipated, a few seconds of silence ensued, before a massive, beautiful explosion shaped of a widened northern star followed suit, causing panic and bafflement to the incoming starskiffs and cloud soldiers from all continents within the Xianzhou.
The ethereal explosion that was just performed, dissipated slowly, but the golden, dust particles of exploding northernstar began to engulf the both of you, covering all of your form, shortly after a bright light emitting towards the both your bodies, before a sudden familiar moonlit darkness returns to the world again, making a hasty, easy escape into the darkness as a golden shower of dust particles illuminated the night sky, leaving unsatisfied feelings of anger, regret and pain towards the army that arrived.
Let his destructive calling be damned, he wasn't going to let you go, not until you two meet in another lifetime again.

wc: 225 words
Tumblr media
Nanook, who gave you their blessing first. Through them, you acquired the Destruction, solely because they wanted you to.
Nanook, who follows you throughout your journey through the stars, who always makes sure to keep a watchful eye on you.
Nanook, who despite wanting to rid the universe of its taintedness, looked at you with eyes they gave no other, with fondness and love.
Nanook, who slowly but surely fell for you, and could only hope you would feel the same way. (you didn’t even know them)
Nanook, who would let you braid their hair while they laid in your lap.
Nanook, who endearingly watched you dig through trash cans, and made it their mission to keep any the legion found.
Nanook, who softly kissed your forehead when you slept after adventures.
Nanook, who sent more monsters after you, thinking it was a way to show their courting, only to be confused when you ran from them.
Nanook, who wished they could be March 7th or Dan Heng or even Welt Yang, and accompany you during your travels.
Nanook, who witnessed the destruction and carnage in Adlivun, and was never the same.
Nanook, who promised to keep you by their side, whether it was reciprocated or not.

Nanook x Reader Drabble.
Your eyes are closed. Intergalactic explosions are happening around you, but you can't see them. The glare of the stars surround you, their brightness threatening to burn you to shreds, but they— they prevent it.
Nanook. Your Aeon.
Their chest is ripped open to let hues of gold spill across their cracked torso. Their arms are disconnected, split into undefined, incomprehensible pieces, only reforming their hands.
Right. Their hands. You were in their hands. Ironically, they– the Aeon of Destruction– held you gently, like you were the most fragile and delicate stone across planets, ships, and galaxies.
Your eyes were still closed, body unmoving and unaffected by all that crossed it. Nanook's gaze was upon you, a stoic and indecipherable look in their eyes. Yet, you did not perish under them. No, you were not destroyed. By now, you'd have suffocated from the absence of air to breathe. Yet, Nanook kept you there, some sort of powerful magic casted from them to you to keep you alive, at least, in their presence.
They did not know why they've kept you there. You were supposed to be somewhere else on a planet named Earth. They recall hovering over the thousands of planets across all time and space, and only one little human person, you, caught their attention.
Nanook didn't know why you were so special in their eyes, but they were lured. Like a string strung to you; ties bound and unable to sever, except they did not wish to sever the ties. You have intrigued them in some way, and they will be keeping you in the palm of their hand until further notice.
You finally opened your eyes. It felt like you were falling through all time and space, like you were traversing across every known and unknown galaxy within quick, countless seconds. But, once your vision cleared itself of exhaust and blur, you looked at Nanook.
You made eye contact. Their bright and burning sun eyes made you squint, but you couldn't stop gazing at the beauty above you. You didn't know who or what was standing above you, but this... thing was something worth looking at.
They could say the same for you.
Neither of you spoke, but it wasn't like you could if you had wanted to. A silent yet deep conversation was passed between you both as your fixed gazes switched between confused and softened understanding. In truth, neither of you understood each other, but it was evident by the way both of your gazes never once left that you wanted to understand each other.
But then you blinked. And your eyes remained shut. Nanook heaved a powerful sigh and sent you back to where they had found you on Earth. Then, secretly, he disguised himself to be someone who resembled a human and sunk down from the galactic heavens above to join you on your home planet.

Note
can you please do a Nanook X trailblazer reader where Nanook falls in love with the reader and design to join the express with the reader but they tell Nanook that he can't destroy anything living and the other are of course shocked but in the end there ok with Nanook joining them as long as he doesn't destroy anything living or important to any other them and he is protective of the reader (in this the reader is immortal do to the stellaron in them and Nanook is out of character as well)
-----♡
A/N: This is honestly kinda funny to think about, so thank you for the request!<3
Content: Established relationship, unserious, mentions of hsr typical battle(?), fluff, Nanook being ooc, sfw
Reader has no set pronouns!
((Not fully proofread))

He must really love you, if he actually agreed to all of those conditions AND followed them... or at least tries to. He doesn't want to disappoint you and therefore attempts to reel his destructive habits in on the train, but that's easier said than done. He can't really change over night, after all.
However, after the Astral Express crew hesitantly agrees to let him join, he gets taught how to be civil with them under your guidance. He doesn't understand the point of most of the rules, as he believes that the destruction of everything is necessary. Yet he also is way too in love with you, to not try and follow them.
So, after a while of spending time with everyone, he actually begins to be somewhat civil with the crew. He starts holding some respect for them, as they are your friends. And if they are your friends, then he supposes he'll have to be "nice" and spare them.
Nanook definitely makes missions much easier, mainly because he just destroys everything in your path and doesn't let a thing hurt you. Stealth missions are however very much impossible with this man and so are negotiations. He doesn't listen and just simply destroys the enemies, as he thinks that's easier to deal with.
His arrogance and harsh personality can cause issues with the express crew, but they still respect him as an equal member of the train either way. He may never admit it either, but life at your side here is peaceful in a way he never thought he could experience. And he doesn't want it to ever end.

A/N: Thank you again for the request and I hope this was okay!<33

Nanook Spares A World
Contents: child reader and Nanook (familial/platonic), Nanook is about to do Nanook things but decides against it
A/N: this was a request by @justapersonalarchive uhhhh... It's been months I'm very very sorry for the long wait, I have not forgotten about this fic I just struggled getting around to writing it :'>
_____________________________________________
Nanook looked on upon a planet at the palm of their hand. It was so measly and small, an insignificant speck of dust in the universe. A simple nudge from the aeon's pinkie would be enough to completely obliterate it. And that was precisely what they were about to do. Their legion was already wreaking havoc on the planet, all they had to do was give it a final push and finish the job.
But here you sat upon their shoulder, just outside of the destructive force's reach. A child who in an unlikely turn of fate gained the favor of Destruction. You were desperately tugging at their braids, screaming and yelling desperately at them to spare this planet, tears welling up in your eyes, threatening to spill down your cheeks.
What possibly could make you so attached to this particular world? You've witnessed Nanook destroy countless numbers of them before, yet usually you quietly and obediently stayed put. You sat and observed, or when it got too much to bear for your pure and innocent heart, you looked away, tucking yourself away just outside of where the aeon's gaze could reach.
Yet this time you actively tried to make them stop.
Why?
They looked upon this tiny world again. Whatever it was that you saw in it, they could not see it. They looked at you once again, your broken expression.
No matter.
Just this once, they shall grant mercy upon this planet. Seeing a precious child of their so hurt tugged at a spot somewhere within the deep golden gash in their chest.
Human emotions are so fragile.
It was enough destruction for this instance in the wide universe.

I have this little crossover idea so hear me out. (Genshin x hsr). This was based on a nanook x reader on here where nanook kills reader bc he can't have a weakness, forget who wrote it
Reader is jing yuan and cynos mother. Jing yuan has her skin color but nanooks eye and hair color, cyno has her eye color but nanooks skin and hair color. Anyways she gives birth to them (they are twins) like 8 months after nanook left for a fight where he turned aeon and then his legion attacks to which still weak sends Jing yuan off with jing liu (who is her student, reader is a general and wears jing years outfit) and teleports cyno to tayvat on accident. Fast Forward to when she is killed, she never got to tell him about their children she had, so some how cyno and jing yuan meet up and find out their brothers and get a flashback so when their mother sent them off and how she died (que before she gives them away, saying how much she loves them and she hopes they'll be something great, like the Disney movies when they send their baby's away) so they go to fight nanook and when he's fallen to the ground (like white diamond from Steven Universe) she appears as a ghost and walks past her sons to nanook and says "it's time to go my beloved nanook", him being shocked and maybe starts crying and looking so upset and distressed about her still loving him and coming back to get him. He disappears and she turns to her sons and pulls a kaguya from Naruto and cups their face, crying saying she loves them and she so proud of them before joining her husband.
I just imagine reader looking like a fem jing yuan but different hair and eye color, but same mole and everything
Artist: rong hsr and crow 3434 (I looked to where I got the art, I hope those are the right artist, correct me if I'm wrong)

The Fallen Star
Pairings: Various Honkai Star Rail Men x Isekai'd!Reader
Summary: You wake up in a void and see someone towering over you. He's breathtaking and covers the sun and sky. One minute you are talking to him, but then you gain consciousness. You wake up to a silver-haired man giving you (failed) CPR, only to find yourself on the Xianzhou Luofu with four other people who soon later become your (temporary?) traveling companions.
Note: Welcome to my first Honkai Star Rail fanfiction! This work is part of a brand new series called "Brightest Star in the Universe." Yes, it's Isekai like the Genshin fics. This is going to be cross-posted on AO3 as well (like all of my fics). To be honest, I didn't think I was going to be posting a Honkai Star Rail series so soon, but here I am. Since there are unreleased characters in this series (Luocha and Blade), their personalities are going to be a bit out of character. Then again, most HSR men's personalities are going to be out of character for a bit until I'm familiar with all of them. I don't post anywhere else but on Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and on AO3 (Aaliah_exo).
Warnings: Mentions of blood, but it's not bad
Word Count: 8.6k
The last thing you remembered before you woke up was a tall man towering over you, blocking the sun and sky from your view. He had silver-white hair and tanned skin, and his arms were in pieces, gold bleeding through the cracks over his body. He was beautiful, but his beauty intimidated you. The way he gazed at you, his eyebrows furrowed.
You felt yourself tremble beneath his gaze. Who was this man, and why was he bigger than the sun and sky? “Where am I? Who are you?” You whispered, your voice trembling with fear and confusion.
The world around you rumbled, making you wince and look around in panic. It took you a moment to realize that the huge man before you was chuckling. The man gazed at you with amusement before squatting down before you without taking his eyes off of you. Wait, does he even have legs?
“My name is not important, little one,” he replies. “You and I will meet again soon, but for now, it’s time for you to wake up from your slumber.”
You looked at him quizzically before scanning your surroundings. There was no one else but you and him. You and this man were in a vortex of some sort. The light is blocked out by his figure. You pinched yourself and winced in pain. What does he mean by ‘wake up from your slumber?’ Were you not awake the entire time?
You look at the man, only to see that he is still staring at you with an unreadable expression on his face. “What do you mean by that?” You whispered.
The silence in the void is deafening. Even if you whispered, your voice echoed in the abyss. You shifted in your spot before getting up from the ground. You dust your clothes off and gaze at the ginormous man before you, waiting for him to answer. The world around you slowly turns black, and the man nods at you before your vision turns black.
Just as you’re gaining consciousness, you hear voices around you. The voices are muffled, almost as if you’re underwater, and the voices of the people are above you and all over the place. Your ears are ringing, and your limbs feel like lead. You want to open your eyes, but your eyelids feel heavy.
“Are you sure they’re alive?” You hear a girl ask.
You hear a slow sigh coming from your left. “Of course, they’re alive, March. Can’t you see the steady rise and fall of their chest?” the male to your left asks.
“If they’re alive, then why are they not waking up? Aside from being unconscious, of course,” says March.
You feel someone tap your cheeks repeatedly. You groan and try to swat the hands away from your face, only for your hands to fall back to the ground. The girl named March lets out a loud gasp.
The man beside you lets out a sigh. “March, can you go find Mr. Yang? In the meantime, Caelus and I will stand guard and make sure this person is okay,” he says.
‘March’ makes a disgruntled noise before stomping away. Something beneath you shifts, and you open your eyes to see a silver-haired man leaning down, his lips puckering. You open your mouth to say something, but the man covers your mouth with his. You let out a combination of a squeak and a gasp. The silver-haired man backs up and looks down at you with wide eyes, his fringe covering a part of his eyes.
The silver-haired man blushes and clears his throat. “It’s good to see that you’re awake! Ahem… how are you feeling?” He asks.
You swallow the lump in your throat and slowly prop yourself up on your arms, rubbing the back of your neck. “I-I’m fine! Um… that’s an interesting way to wake someone up,” you said, giving the silver-haired man a sheepish smile.
“I was trying to give you CPR, but that didn’t turn out how I thought it was going to,” replies the silver-haired man, his cheeks flushing red. He looks over at the black-haired man with a glare. The man with black hair looks away, his lips pressed into a thin line while his shoulders are shaking. The silver-haired man narrows his eyes at the black-haired man before punching him in the shoulders lightly, causing the man to grunt and let out a cough. Was he laughing? You sit up and look around, dazed and confused about how you ended up on a ship. Wait, is it a ship? Where are you?
You clear your throat and rub your throbbing temples. How did you end up on a ship? Or wherever you are. Gosh, you’re so out of it that you’re having a hard time figuring out where you’re at. You close your eyes, feeling a wave of nausea hit you like a train. One minute you were in a void with an extremely tall man that bleeds gold, and now you’re somewhere with two men at your side. One man is trying to stifle his laughter, while the other is almost as red as tomatoes.
The red-faced silver-haired man clears his throat. “My name is Caelus, and the one that’s laughing beside us is Dan Heng,” Caelus says, nudging Dan Heng beside him with a small glare as if he’s telling Dan Heng to be quiet.
Dan Heng clears his throat before fixing his composure, crossing his arms over his chest. “How are you feeling? You were out cold when we found you on the Xianzhou Luofu,” says Dan Heng, staring at you emotionlessly.
“Other than a slight headache, I’m feeling okay. Confused, but okay nonetheless,” you reply.
The two men stand up while you remain on the floor. You continue to take in your surroundings, eyes focusing on the stars hanging above you and the two men on this…. ship. You’re on a flagship… in space… traveling to who knows where. You look at the men behind you, pointing at your surroundings.
You clear your throat. “So, I was unconscious on the Xianzhou Luofu? That’s how you two found me?” You ask, rubbing your eyes while remaining on the ground. “Huh. How did I end up here?”
Rapid footsteps approach you, Dan Heng, and Caelus. You look up to see a pink-haired girl running toward the three of you, with a brown-haired man following close behind. The pink-haired girl’s eyes light up when the two of you make eye contact. You get up from the ground, dusting off your clothes.
The girl and brown-haired man stop before you. “Oh, goodie! You’re awake this time! I was starting to get worried!” She says, propping her hands on her hips. “Mr. Yang, this is the unconscious person I was telling you about! Well, they’re not unconscious anymore, but we stumbled across them when we split up while trying to look for Kafka.”
The brown-haired man— or Mr. Yang— strokes his chin while analyzing you from head to toe. You’re definitely not from the Xianzhou Luofu, and you’re certainly not from Jarlio-VI.
The man hums before crossing his arms over his chest. “Do you know how you ended up here?” asks Mr. Yang.
You shake your head. “I don’t know how I ended up here. One minute, I was in a void with a man that towered over me, and now I somehow ended up on a ship.” You reply.
Now that you said it out loud, you wouldn’t believe yourself if you were someone else. Would these people believe you? The pink girl hums thoughtfully, tilting her head to the side while gazing at you curiously.
“I’m March 7th, by the way! But you can call me March! This man here is Welt Yang!” She gestures to the brown-haired man beside her. “I’m assuming those two have introduced themselves to you already?”
You nod. “They have! Apologies for not introducing myself earlier, but my name’s [Y/N].” You say, rubbing the back of your neck with a sheepish smile.
You look at your surroundings. While you’re on the Xianzhou Luofu, you’re not entirely sure where you, Dan Heng, Caelus, Mr. Yang (should you call him by his first name or by his last name?), and March are precisely on the ship. Looking at your surroundings, all you see are boxes— you’re assuming they’re cargo of some sort. The air is nice and chilly, causing goosebumps to appear on your arms.
“We have to meet with General Jing Yuan. There are some things we still need to discuss with him,” Mr. Yang says, pulling his phone out to look at the time.
March points at you. “What do we do with [Y/N]? Do we bring them along with us as well?” asks March, looking at Mr. Yang for answers.
Your eyes widen, and you shake your head, waving your hands in front of you. “Oh, no! You don’t have to bring me along with you guys! Plus, you mentioned meeting with a general…. That sounds important, and I don’t want to intrude. After all, I am an outsider and, uh, don’t fit in this situation,” you said.
The five of them were heading to meet with the General of the Xianzhou Luofu. Dan Heng, Caelus, and March ended up stumbling across your unconscious body on the Xianzhou Luofu in an area where there aren’t many people roaming around. You sort of threw them off while they were headed toward their destination. Surely you can’t just tag along with them now, can you?
March huffs and frowns at you. “Hey! You’re not the only one who’s an outsider! The four of us aren’t from the Xianzhou Luofu either!” March interjects, stepping toward you and linking her arm around yours. “Besides! I think you should tag along with us either way! We don’t want to leave you behind, especially when you’re not from the Xianzhou Luofu! You are now a Trailblazer like us!”
Mr. Yang sighs and pushes his glasses up. “Let’s go. We have no time to lose. [Y/N], we’ll talk about this after meeting with General Jing Yuan,” says Mr. Yang, looking in your direction.
You nod and follow after the group, setting off to the location where General Jing Yuan told them to meet.
Upon arriving at the destination, you have concluded that you like the Xianzhou Luofu! Not only is it beautiful and vast, with a nice view of the universe, but you find the citizens of the Xianzhou Luofu interesting, and you’re curious about everything, really.
Now that you think about it, the ship and the people you’re tagging along with feel familiar. You know what this place is; you know it! It’s on the tip of your tongue, but dealing with sudden scenery changes and the brain fog is throwing you off.
The grand doors open, and the five of you step into the room. You look around, eyes wide with wonder and curiosity. Many people are walking in and out of the room, people gathering around in one spot while others are tending to their duties on the ship. Mr. Yang, March, Dan Heng, Caelus, and you approach the white-haired man sitting on a chair. He seems to be occupied with the game of chess. You can’t tell if his blond opponent looks frustrated or focused. His eyebrows furrowed, and his eyes focused on the chessboard before the two of them. Hearing footsteps approaching their direction, the blond boy and white-haired man look at your group.
The white-haired man stands up, looking at the blond boy and nodding. The blond boy gets up from his seat and walks off, looking at your group from the corner of his eyes as he passes the five of you.
“I hope the journey wasn’t too complicated. It’s good to see you all again,” says the white-haired man.
Mr. Yang nods. “General Jing Yuan, it’s nice to see you again. We’re here to discuss the matters you wanted to speak to us about regarding the situation….” Mr. Yang’s voice slowly becomes muffled as you continue to look at your surroundings.
There are holograms of the people, you assume, that work on the Xianzhou Luofu! Holograms! You have never seen a hologram before, and it looks so cool! What was this place called again? You recalled that they were supposed to meet up at the general’s office, but the location was changed. Was the office called the Seat of the Divine Foresight? Although, with the number of people going in and out of the room, it’s certainly not the general’s office. Where in the world are you exactly? Gosh, it’s like you have the name on the tip of your tongue, but it’s not coming out.
“Care to introduce me to your new friend?” General Jing Yuan’s voice pulls you out of your thoughts.
You blink and look up to see General Jing Yuan looking right at you. You freeze in your spot like a deer in headlights, blinking at the white-haired man owlishly. A soft smile appears on his face, a low rumbling coming from his chest. You couldn’t help but feel intimidated by his presence. Such power and authority exude from the man standing before the five of you.
Your face heats up when more people look in your direction. You clear your throat and stand there awkwardly, not sure what to do. Sure, you could introduce yourself to General Jing Yuan, but you were hoping he didn’t notice a new face around the Xianzhou Luofu. You point at yourself dumbly, blinking cluelessly at the man approaching you. Oh gosh, he’s walking toward you.
General Jing Yuan nods. “Yes, I was talking to you. I’ve never seen you around the Xianzhou Luofu, nor have I seen you with Welt Yang and his traveling companions,” says General Jing Yuan, now standing in front of you.
Dear gosh, this man is standing right in front of you. He’s not a hologram. He’s flesh and blood. If you reach out right now, you would be touching him with your hands. You give General Jing Yuan a shy smile, face hotter than ever.
You raise your hand in an awkward wave before introducing yourself. “Hi! I, uh, my name’s [Y/N]! It’s a pleasure to meet you, General Jing Yuan!” You squeak.
General Jing Yuan lets out a hearty laugh. “It’s nice to meet you, [Y/N]. Please, just call me Jing Yuan. No need to call me General— General is merely a temporary title,” says Jing Yuan, giving you a cat-like smile.
Jing Yuan grabs your hand gently and raises your hand to his face before pressing a kiss on your knuckles without breaking eye contact. Dear gosh, it’s like this man wants your face to feel hotter than it already is.
“Since when is he a flirt?” You hear March mutter to Caelus, Dan Heng, and Mr. Yang.
Jing Yuan releases your hand while you stand there awkwardly while tucking your hair behind your ear. You give Jing Yuan a flustered smile before looking away after clearing your throat. Dan Heng sighs while Mr. Yang steps up, grabbing Jing Yuan’s attention. You take a step back and stand between Dan Heng and Caelus, refusing to look at them after feeling intense stares at your head.
“That was something,” Caelus comments, crossing his arms over his chest.
Dan Heng hums in agreement. “It really is, isn’t it? Who knew that the General of the Xianzhou Luofu has such a charm,” Dan Heng comments.
You clear your throat again. “Maybe it’s how people greet on the Xianzhou Luofu!” You say.
March scrunches her nose and shakes her head. “They don’t do that on the Xianzhou Luofu. We’ve visited a couple of times, but not once were we greeted like how the General greeted you, [Y/N],” March teases, giving you a cheeky smile.
While Mr. Yang and Jing Yuan are conversing with each other about the situation, Dang Heng, Caelus, and March would interject here and there while the two are speaking. As usual, since you’re not part of the conversation, you would space out and look at your surroundings. It’s tempting to wander off, but you stay where you’re standing and listen to their conversation.
The doors to the room fly open, and enter a man with long, blond hair and a brown-haired girl with pigtails. The girl looks mildly miffed, while the blond man looks pleased with himself as he follows the girl into the room with a giant casket behind him. You look at the casket in horror and look at Caelus, Dan Heng, and March. The trio did not seem to be phased by the fact that the blond man was carrying around a casket like it was a backpack.
The blond man notices you’re staring at him, and he smiles at you, keeping a firm grip on the casket behind him. “I see you notice the coffin behind me,” he comments.
You nod in response. “Yeah! It’s, uh, hard to overlook it,” you reply.
The brown-haired girl huffs and crosses her arms over her chest with a deep frown on her face. “It’s strange, isn’t it?” asks the girl, looking in your direction.
You blink at her with surprise. “Ah, strange?” You squeak.
What was she talking about? The man carrying a large casket with him, or was there something else you’re missing? After all, she did enter the room with the blond man, looking visibly peeved.
The brown-haired girl drags out a sigh, propping her right hand on her hip. “For a foreign trader like himself to be carrying a casket around so casually,” she replies. “I didn’t think it was a casket until I asked him about it.”
The blond man clears his throat. “This coffin isn't mine, Sushang. I was merely entrusted to take the body back to the Xianzhou Luofu,” the man says casually. “My name’s Luocha. As Sushang said, I am a foreign trader. Currently, I was tasked to return this casket to the Xianzhou Luofu.” He gestures to the casket behind him.
You stare at the casket and then look at the blond man, who raises his eyebrows at you with an amused look. It seems like Luocha knows what you want to ask him. What is in the casket? More importantly, who is in the coffin, and why does he need to deliver it back to the Xianzhou Luofu?
Luocha crosses his arms over his chest. “It’s alright if you want to ask who’s in the coffin. I’ve had a few people ask me the same question while on my journey to the Xianzhou Luofu,” says Luocha, looking at Sushang from the corner of his eyes.
You give Luocha a sheepish smile and shake your head. “No, no! I wasn’t going to ask you that question! I was wondering how you can carry a coffin around for so long without getting tired of it. You would think there would be an easier way to transport a casket,” you say.
You did wonder who was in the coffin. I mean, like Luocha said, he has had a few people ask him who (or what) was in the large casket behind him. As much as you’re curious, you don’t think it would be appropriate to ask since it’s none of your business, and it would be rude to ask.
Sushang looks at you curiously, examining you from head to toe. “You don’t look like you’re from the Xianzhou Luofu. Are you Dan Heng’s newly added traveling companion?” asks Sushang.
You make an uncertain noise, giving Sushang and Luocha a ‘so-so’ gesture. “Kind of! I… I’m not sure if now is the right time to explain the situation,” you murmur, turning to look at your new traveling companions.
March, Dan Heng, and Caelus shrug their shoulders simultaneously. You sigh and turn to look at Luocha and Sushang with a fake smile. Now would be a good time to leave the Xianzhou Luofu, but even if you were to leave the ship, would they (your temporary traveling companions) be okay with you tagging along?
Sushang looks at you curiously. “Oh? Why do you seem uncertain about being their new traveling companions?” Sushang asks.
You press your lips into a thin line and rock back and forth on the balls of your feet. Would this be a good time to tell them (Sushang, Luocha, and Jing Yuan) about your situation? Maybe they’ll know the answer to it! Hopefully, they know the answer! You go on to tell Sushang and Luocha your situation: how you wake up to Caelus giving you CPR, and you find yourself on the Xianzhou Luofu despite not being from the Xianzhou Luofu.
Sushang hums and strokes her chin, squinting her eyes at you while chewing on the inside of her cheek. “Do you have memory loss by any chance?” Sushang asks.
Your gaze falls to the ground after hearing her question. Now that you think about it, the last thing you remembered before waking up was being in the void with a man towering over you. He’s so huge that he covered the sun and sky! Should you mention that to them too? You don’t know the man’s name. He told you his name isn’t important, but you know that’s not the case.
“I guess? I don’t really know how I ended up here, really. The last thing I remembered before waking up was being in a void with this tall person, but then I gained consciousness, and here I am!” You say, shrugging your shoulders.
They all probably think you’re crazy after explaining to them the last thing you saw before waking up to Caelus giving you CPR. You weren’t lying about being in a void with an extremely tall person. Technically, he wasn’t tall— he was a giant. They all look at you like you have just grown a second head.
Mr. Yang walks over to the group and nods at you, Dan Heng, March, and Caelus. “Alright, General Jing Yuan has given me some information on what we need to do. So far, there aren’t many things to check on the Xianzhou Luofu, but we do have to stop by Jarlio-VI per Caelus’ request,” says Mr. Yang.
March looks at Mr. Yang quizzically. “Why stop by Jarlio-VI? We have already completed what we needed to do on Jarlio-VI,” says March, crossing her arms over her chest.
Caelus hands his phone over to March. March grabs Caelus’ phone and skims through the messages on Caelus’ phone. March sighs and nods, handing Caelus back his phone before propping her hands on her hips.
“Well, it looks like we’ll be seeing some familiar faces again!” March announces.
You look at the group cluelessly, rubbing your arm. Does that mean you’ll have to go to Jarlio-VI with the group as well? I mean, there’s nowhere else for you to go, really. The best option is to tag along with the people that found you unconscious.
March nudges you and gestures to follow her and the three men. “Let’s go! I’ll introduce you to Pom-Pom and Himeko! You’ll love them and the Astral Express!” March grins, grabbing your wrist and pulling you along.
The five of you wave to Sushang, Jing Yuan, and Luocha goodbye before walking out of the room. You didn’t know where they were leading you, but you assumed it was to an area where the four of them were dropped off before they found you unconscious on the ground of the Xianzhou Luofu.
Right when the five of you are about to reach your destination (or, that’s what you’re assuming because you’re not familiar with the Xianzhou Luofu, nor are you sure where they’re taking you), a figure swoops in out of nowhere and snatches you from March’s grasp.
Everyone stops in their tracks and turns to look at the person holding you hostage. Your back is pressing against the man’s chest, and you feel the man press his sword up against your neck. March, Caelus, and Mr. Yang glare at the man behind you while Dan Heng looks like he just witnessed someone massacre everyone in his village. You swallow your fear and slowly turn your head to see a man with long, dark hair and red eyes. His eyes are focusing on the people standing in front of the two of you.
“So this is the fallen star Kafka mentioned,” the man mutters, looking down at you.
You blink at the man behind you and look at the others cluelessly. “Who is this man, and what does he mean by that?” You ask.
The man behind you tightens his grip around you, his arm wrapping across your chest while continuing to press the sword against your neck. March glares at the man behind you and seethes with anger.
“Let them go, Blade! Don’t involve them in anything!” March shouts.
Dan Heng takes a step closer toward you and Blade, only for Blade to take a step back, bringing you with him. Blade glares at Dan Heng and the others, pressing the edge of the sword against your neck. You close your eyes and visibly wince when the blade nicked your neck, causing a trail of blood to slowly trickle down. Dan Heng and Caelus glare at Blade, getting ready to step forward, when Mr. Yang grabs onto both of the men’s shoulders, shaking his head.
Blade smirks and chuckles. “I wouldn’t step any closer if I were you. If you want them to come out unscathed, then you will comply with my and Kafka’s orders,” said Blade.
You nudge the man behind you. “What do you mean when you mentioned fallen star? I’m not a fallen star,” you grumble, glaring at Blade from the corner of your eyes. “And for your information, I didn’t come out unscathed.” You gesture to your neck.
One minute you were in a void with an enormous man before you, then you woke up to Caelus giving you CPR on the Xianzhou Luofu, and now you’re being held hostage by a man named Blade on the Xianzhou Luofu. Can this get any worse?
Blade huffs and tightens his grip around you, not taking his eyes off the people standing before you and him. “Two hours before your arrival to the Xianzhou Luofu, Kafka reported a strange light flying across the galaxy. That light was presumed to be a fallen star, and the light led to the Xianzhou Luofu. In case none of you realized it, the fallen star is this one right here,” says Blade, gesturing to you.
You furrow your eyebrows after hearing Blade’s explanation. You have to be honest here; whatever Blade just said to you, Mr. Yang, Dan Heng, Caelus, and March, it sounds ridiculous. You? A fallen star? What does that even mean? You fell out from the sky and somehow ended up on the Xianzhou Luofu? Not only does it sound ridiculous, but it doesn’t seem probable because you didn’t have any markings on you aside from the cut on your neck from Blade’s sword.
You close your eyes and rest your head on Blade’s shoulders, catching him off guard. You turn your head slightly and peek at him. “And what do you and this Kafka person want from me exactly? You make it seem like I’m some rare gem from space, finally crashing and landing somewhere,” you comment.
Blade remains silent, staring down at you while you stare at him in return. It almost seems like he doesn’t have a plan for what to do with you. Other than holding you hostage in front of your (possibly) temporary traveling companions. You frown at Blade after a few minutes of him not responding to your question. You elbow Blade in the gut before pushing his arms off you with a huff, walking away from the man.
You and the others were surprised to see that Blade didn’t retaliate. He seems to be the type that gets set off easily. But since he didn’t slash at you or lash out at you for elbowing him in the stomach and pushing his arms off your person, it genuinely shocked the others. You rub and graze your fingers over the cut on your neck.
You narrow your eyes at Blade and walk over to where the others are standing. March runs up to you to assess the open wound on your neck. March sighs in relief, looking over at Blade with a glare before pulling you to the side while Caelus, Dan Heng, and Mr. Yang deal with Blade to the side.
You watch Blade, Dan Heng, Caelus, and Mr. Yang stand before each other, not saying a word. Their weapons are drawn out, but no one has started anything. They all stand there, staring at each other in silence, while March struggles to pull a bandaid out from her pocket. March hands you the bandaid after successfully grabbing the bandaid.
March turns to look at the four men with one hand on her hip while the other is on your shoulder. “Hey, are you guys just going to stand there and stare at each other all day, or are you guys going to fight it out?” demands March, glaring at the men.
Blade smirks and tightens his grip on his sword. “If that’s what you want, then a fight is what you shall receive,” says Blade.
Blade was about to lunge at the three men before him, but a woman with red wine-colored hair appeared out of nowhere, placing her hand on Blade’s shoulders. Blade stops in his tracks and looks over his shoulders at the woman.
She gives him a smile and chuckles, looking in your direction. “It’s good to see you, little shooting star. I apologize that you had to meet us this way, but our destinies are intertwined no matter where you go and how far we are from each other,” says the woman.
Everyone stares at the woman in silence. Everyone but you seem tensed at her mere presence. She takes her hand off Blade’s shoulders before walking toward your and March’s direction. Caelus and Dan Heng block her way, holding their weapons out in front of them while glaring at the woman.
The woman frowns and looks at Caelus with a pout. Almost like she was mocking him. “Oh, Caelus. Do you not trust me after all we’ve been through?” she asks, crossing her arms over her chest.
March lets out a loud scoff. “Can you blame us for not trusting you after all that stuff you put us through, Kafka?!” March asks, glaring at the red wine-colored-haired woman.
‘Kafka?’ you mouthed to yourself, furrowing your eyebrows. The gorgeous woman is Kafka? Not only was she stunning, but the way she was looking at you was sending chills down your spine. There’s something about her you couldn’t put your fingers on. She seems powerful and the leader of this whole situation. Maybe the word ring-leader would suit her since Blade does follow her orders around like a dog.
Kafka turns around and starts walking away. “Come on, Bladie. It seems like we’ll have to find another time to meet [Y/N] again. For now, let’s part our ways,” says Kafka.
You freeze in your spot and look at Kafka with wide eyes. How in the world does she know your name when you haven’t introduced yourself to Blade and Kafka? Kafka looks over her shoulders and smiles at you before disappearing from everyone’s sight. Blade huffs and puts his sword away, turning around and following after Kafka.
March huffs. “Kafka and her dog are going to search for [Y/N] again. I don’t think it’s safe for them to be alone,” March states, looking at Mr. Yang, Dan Heng, and Caelus. “It’s best they remain on the Astral Express with us until further notice.”
You furrow your eyebrows and give March a questioning look. What does she mean by you remaining on the Astral Express until further notice? Until you find a home somewhere and can finally leave them alone? Where are you going to go? You’re on a ship that’s traversing through space, and now you’re going to be on a train that also travels through space.
“Let’s return to the Astral Express, and then we can talk about it after stopping by Jarlio-VI,” says Mr. Yang.
The five of you continued your way to the area where Dan Heng, Caelus, March, and Mr. Yang were dropped off. You’re kind of excited to step foot on the Astral Express and Jarlio-VI. Mainly Jarlio-VI because of how March described it, along with the stories she told you when she, Caelus, and Dan Heng visited the frozen planet due to the eternal freeze.
A frozen planet sounds interesting because not many things can survive and thrive in such conditions. It makes you wonder if there were any wild animals that roam Jarlio-VI aside from humans and creatures March, Dan Heng, and Caelus passively mentioned. Speaking of creatures the trio mentioned, you’re hoping you won’t have to deal with it or get caught in the crossfire.
Your stay on the Astral Express was short, and you met Pom-Pom and Himeko! They’re very welcoming, and Himeko is like an older sister, and perhaps a mother, figure to you despite you knowing her for less than a few hours. Despite your visitation of the Astral Express being short, you somehow managed to fall asleep while the train was headed to Jarlio-VI.
When you open your eyes, you find yourself in the void again. The very same void you were in before you woke up to Caelus giving you (failed) CPR. You look around, and there is the man towering over you.
You frown at the (gorgeous) man and rub your eyes. “It seems like the only time I’ll see you again is through my dreams, huh? I’m starting to think you’re not real and that you’re a figment of my imagination,” you say, crossing your arms over your chest.
The man chuckles and gazes at you with an amused look on his face. Damn, his smile is breathtaking, but it’s too bad he’s not real. Or at least that’s what you’re assuming. The man beckons you to come closer. You push yourself off the ground and walk toward him while scanning your surroundings.
You weren’t just in a void, but there were tiny stars sparkling around you and the massive man before you. The man holds his hand out, placing them before you. You stare at his hands questionably before stepping on his hand, letting him lift you to his eye level.
“We will meet very soon, little one. Now is not a good time to meet,” he says.
You frown at the man, letting out a huff before crossing your arms over your chest like a petulant child. “No matter what you tell me, I’ll always assume you’re a figment of my imagination. At least tell me your name,” you murmur, looking at him from the corner of your eyes.
The man smiles at you and nods. “My name’s Nanook and I promise we will meet in person soon. For now, this is the only way I will be able to communicate with you--- through your dreams.” He caresses your hair with his index finger.
You stare at Nanook without saying a word, still not convinced that he’s real. Nanook sighs and gives you a small smile. From a distance, you hear someone call your name. You look away from Nanook and begin searching for the voice. Nanook sighs, putting you back on the ground and smiling at you almost sadly. You’re about to ask him what was wrong when the world around you slowly fades away.
“Wake up!”
Your eyelids snap open, and you sit up, rubbing the sleep from your eyes. March sighs and collapses across from you while Caelus and Dan Heng stand to the side with unreadable expressions on their faces.
March huffs and narrows her eyes at you. “Finally! I’ve been trying to wake you up for the past ten minutes!” March says.
You blink at March and look at Dan Heng and Caelus, who nods in response. How long have you been asleep? March was trying to wake you up for ten minutes, but it didn’t feel that long. You were with Nanook in your dreams for what felt like three minutes or less. Were you asleep for that long?
“We’re arriving at Jarlio-VI very soon. Gepard and Sampo will be meeting us at the Administrative District,” says Dan Heng.
Caelus and Dan Heng walk off, leaving you and March alone on the couch. Caelus nudges Dan Heng, looking at you from over his shoulders and then at the black-haired man worriedly. Dan Heng chews on the inside of his cheek, leaning against the wall while waiting for the Astral Express to reach its destination.
“You heard that, right? [Y/N] mumbling Nanook’s name in their sleep,” says Caelus.
Dan Heng nods. Before Dan Heng can reply, the Astral Express comes to a complete stop, and Pom-Pom announces the Astral Express’s arrival to Jarlio-VI from where they were standing. You and March get up from the couch and stretch your arms and legs.
You rub the base of your neck and wince when you feel it strain. Great, now you have a crick in your neck from sleeping on the couch in the Astral Express for who knows how long. March loops her arms around yours, dragging you out of the Astral Express with Dan Heng and Caelus following behind.
March looks over her shoulders, shouting, “Come on, Mr. Yang! We don’t have all day!” March continues to pull you along to the Administrative District with a wide smile on her face while you’re trying your best to keep up with the hyperactive girl.
Himeko crosses her arms over her chest and taps on her chin. “You feel it too, right?” Himeko asks, looking over at the brown-haired man.
Mr. Yang raises his eyebrows at Himeko, waiting for her to clarify. Himeko chuckles, shaking her head, looking at the entrance of the Astral Express, where you, March, Dan Heng, and Caelus ran out. Technically, you were dragged out of the Astral Express by March.
“The sense of familiarity with [Y/N]. Almost like we know them despite never meeting them. This connection….” Himeko trails off, humming softly. Himeko chuckles and looks at Mr. Yang, gesturing for him to follow after you, March, Dan Heng, and Caelus.
Back to you and the trio, the three of you walk around the Administrative District searching for these Gepard and Sampo people. From what you have been told, Gepard is the little brother of Serval, and Sampo is some con artist the trio met in the underworld. You’re looking forward to meeting Gepard and Sampo! They sound like interesting people, especially Sampo.
“Fams! There you guys are!” You hear someone call from a distance.
The four of you turn in the direction of the voice to see an indigo-haired man and a blond man approaching your group. The indigo-haired man smiles widely and waves at the four of you. When you and the indigo-haired man make eye contact, his eyes seem to light up, and the smile on his face becomes wider before he sprints in your and the trio’s direction.
The green-eyed indigo-haired man and the blond man with blue eyes stop before your group, looking at you curiously. You can’t help but feel self-conscious under their gaze. Their clothes are interesting, but it looks nice on them. Wait, are you staring at them? You snap out of your thoughts and look away, trying to act like you weren’t staring at them.
“Caelus, March, Dan Heng, care to introduce us to your new traveling companion?” asks the blond man, staring you down with those blue eyes of his.
March smiles widely and nods before happily introducing you to the two men before you. You smile at them politely and wave at them. The two men introduce themselves to you not long after, and you are glad their names are easy to remember because you’re not the best at remembering the names of the people you have just met.
“Not to come off as rude or anything, but you don’t seem to be from here,” Sampo says, looking at you curiously.
Gepard looks at Sampo from the corner of his eyes before shaking his head. “Sorry if what he said came off as rude. Sampo has no manners,” Gepard mutters, crossing his arms over his chest.
You laugh and wave your hand in front of you. “No, no, it’s fine! Sampo asked a genuine question, and I’m sure there are other people that are curious as well,” you say, giving Sampo and Gepard a small smile.
You and the others walk around the Administrative District while you tell Gepard and Sampo the situation. You woke up on the Xianzhou Luofu, unsure of how you ended up on the ship. Prior to gaining consciousness, you were in a void with Nanook. Of course, you didn’t tell Sampo and Gepard about you knowing Nanook’s name, only how he’s a tall figure that covered the sun and sky.
While you tell the two men your situation, Mr. Yang ends up catching up to your group, and the seven of you stop near the theater. Sampo and Gepard didn’t make a comment on your sudden appearance on the Xianzhou Luofu, but they have tried asking you a few questions.
“Everything is starting to feel familiar, but I can’t put my finger on it.” You murmur, scanning your surroundings.
Belobog is beautiful and cold, but there’s something unnerving about it. On the other hand, the Xianzhou Luofu doesn’t feel eerie or ominous. The others look at you curiously, wondering what you mean when you say everything is starting to feel familiar.
Sampo, being the man that he is, slides in front of you and gives you a charming smile before flicking his bangs away from his eyes. “Pardon me saying this so suddenly, but I’m sensing you feel a connection between us?” asks Sampo, gesturing between you and him.
You blink at Sampo. “Yes,” you reply slowly. “I guess that’s a better way of putting it.”
Sampo looks at you with wide eyes, his cheeks tinting pink. Sampo clears his throat and tucks an invisible strand of hair behind his ears. “Oh? So you do feel that connection between us!” Sampo grins.
Your head is beginning to hurt, and there’s a low ringing in your ears that’s gradually getting louder and louder. You tried to act normal and playfully scoffed at Sampo’s comment before walking to the nearest bench near the theater. When you walk off with March at your side, Gepard looks at Sampo while Dan Heng, Mr. Yang, and Caelus trade glances at each other.
Gepard hums, furrowing his eyebrows. “So, you feel that too?” Gepard mutters.
Sampo does a double take and looks at Gepard with wide eyes. “What do you mean by ‘too’? I was talking to [Y/N], not you!” says Sampo, huffing.
Dan Heng, Caelus, Mr. Yang, and Gepard stare at Sampo with blank expressions. Sampo blinks at them and laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. Gepard sighs, trying to ignore the strange pull in his chest.
“You’re not the only one that feels that connection, you know?” Gepard hisses, glaring at Sampo.
Sampo’s eyes widen, and he holds his hands up in front of him, laughing. “Whoa, there, buddy. Listen, I don’t know what you’re trying to imply, but I don’t feel a connection with you! I feel a connection with [Y/N], but certainly not you! Plus, why would I, Sampo Koski, be with someone that constantly tries to put me in jail?” Sampo asks.
Caelus snorts and rolls his eyes. “That’s not what Gepard is implying, Sampo,” Caelus comments, pressing his lips into a thin line to prevent himself from laughing in Sampo’s face.
Sampo looks at Caelus quizzically, then at Dan Heng. Dan Heng raises an eyebrow at Sampo, crossing his arms over his chest.
Dan Heng sighs before answering, “Gepard is implying that you’re not the only one that feels the connection with [Y/N]. Gepard feels the same connection with [Y/N] as well.”
Mr. Yang looks at Sampo and Gepard, surprised. He clears his throat to grab the four men’s attention before pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. “Himeko mentioned the same thing before I caught up with the rest of you. Himeko says she feels a sense of familiarity when she saw [Y/N], although I don’t think she feels the same as the rest of us,” Mr. Yang explains.
Gepard’s eyebrows shoot to his hairline. “What do you mean by the rest of us? Do all of you feel the same way toward [Y/N]?” Gepard demands, chewing on his bottom lip.
Despite not getting a response from the four men in front of him, Gepard already knows the answer to his question. Every one of these men feels some kind of connection with you. Heck, even Himeko says she feels a sense of familiarity with you, according to Mr. Yang. A sense of familiarity is different from the tugging in their chests when they’re around you. The best way to describe it is a gravitational pull. It makes them want to be closer to you and be near you.
“Does anyone know they feel the same way?” Gepard asks, looking at you from the corner of his eyes. “I know they told Sampo they feel it as well, but what if they’re saying it to get Sampo off their back?” Gepard asks, propping one hand on his hip while stroking his chin.
The rest of the day went by in a blur to you. The last thing you remembered before losing consciousness was Himeko showing you where your temporary room is located on the Astral Express. Nanook communicated with you through your dreams twice, but this time, he didn’t make an appearance. You slept for a few hours, only to be woken up by someone knocking at the door.
You roll out of bed and stumble to the door, grabbing the doorknob and opening the door without a second thought. At first, you thought it was going to be March that was standing at the door, ready to show a photo book of her, Dan Heng, Mr. Yang, and Caelus trailblazing, but instead, it was Jing Yuan, Blade, and Luocha that’s standing at the door.
Just when you were feeling groggy, you’re now alert and surprised. You stare at the trio with wide eyes and peek over their shoulders. Why are they at the Astral Express? Shouldn’t they be at the Xianzhou Luofu? And as for Blade, you’re not entirely sure why he’s with Jing Yuan and Luocha at the Astral Express.
You give the three men a fake smile. “Jing Yuan, Luocha, and Blade! What a surprise! If you don’t mind me asking, what are you three doing here?” You ask, running your hands through your bedhead.
Jing Yuan chuckles. “It’s good to see you too, [Y/N]. We came to check up on you to see if you were okay. Caelus informed us that you weren’t feeling well when you were on Jarlio-VI,” says Jing Yuan.
You stare at Jing Yuan like a fish out of water. “Oh! I’m fine, really! I didn’t think you would stop by to check up on me after hearing what happened,” you say, clearing your throat.
Luocha smiles and pats your head. “We were worried about your well-being! Of course, we would stop by to see if you’re okay! Are we not allowed to do that?” Luocha asks, batting his eyelashes at you.
You feel yourself becoming flustered under their gaze, and you look away, rubbing the back of your neck. Then you realize that Blade is also standing there, behind Luocha and Jing Yuan, staring at you menacingly. Well, he was just staring at you like a normal person, but the look was menacing to you.
You point an accusing finger at Blade. “Why are you here? Didn’t you go somewhere with Kafka after our encounter at the Xianzhou Loufu?!” You demand, taking a step back.
Blade blinks at you. “What do you mean? Am I not allowed to check up on you?” Blade asks, raising an eyebrow at you.
You snort and lean against the door, glaring at the long, dark-haired man behind Luocha and Jing Yuan. “That’s rich coming from someone that cut my neck the other day!” You say, pointing at the bandaid on your neck.
Jing Yuan and Luocha slowly turn to look at Blade. Their demeanors shift suddenly, and the temperature in the area seems to drop. Blade frowns and ignores the glares Luocha, and Jing Yuan are giving him.
Blade sighs. “I didn’t mean to cut your neck, alright? I didn’t think the edge of the sword would be that sharp,” Blade mutters.
You grumble and shift on one foot, looking at the ground. “Yeah, well, I’m doing fine now. I appreciate you three checking up on me, really. Even though you all didn’t need to do that.” you say.
Jing Yuan chuckles. “Well, when it comes to you, we’re willing to drop everything we’re doing to make sure you’re safe,” says Jing Yuan, giving you a closed-eye smile.
“Now that we have checked up on you, I think we should leave you alone to rest now,” Luocha says, smiling at you.
You give Luocha a smile in return and bid the three men goodbye before closing the door. You walk to your bed and collapse on it, closing your eyes. When you open your eyes, you’re back in the void, standing before Nanook. Nanook lets you stand on his hand and lifts you to his eyes, caressing your cheek with his index finger.
“My beautiful, shining star. We will meet soon,” Nanook murmurs.
You place your hands over Nanook’s finger, leaning into his touch. “What do you mean by shining star? Blade and Kafka called me a fallen star. Is there a correlation between the two?”  you ask.
“That, I cannot tell you, my shining star. You will know soon enough,” replies Nanook.
The void around you fades away, and you wake up to see people surrounding you. You blink at them and sit up, but Dan Heng pushes you back down on the bed. You look at Dan Heng and the others with a questioning look. Your moment with Nanook was cut so suddenly. Did something happen?
You rub your eyes. “What happened? Why is everyone in my room?” You ask.
Himeko sighs in relief, smiling at you. “We’re just glad you’re okay, that’s all,” says Himeko
You stare at Himeko and the others quizzically. “Then, does that mean I can continue my sleep?” You ask.
March’s eyes widen, and she looks at the others with panic. “Uh, yes! But you’ve been sleeping so much today! Do you want to walk around the Astral Express with us? You know, for fresh air and maybe get something to eat after?” March asks.
You shrug, rolling off the bed and stretching your arms in the air. “Yeah, sure, why not? I don’t think I had anything to eat today, so I might as well walk around the Astral Express and get something to eat after.”
March grins and grabs you by your wrist before pulling you out of your room with the others following behind. You’re not sure if you want to know what happened before you woke up, but everyone in the room looks… shaken up, if that’s the right way to describe it.
Note: Not gonna lie, I kind of like how this fic turned out. The starting "chapter" of the new series is completely different from how I started the Genshin Impact Isekai fic. I have way too many ideas for Honkai Star Rail, and I'm excited to post more for Honkai Star Rail along with the Genshin fics. I might make a more organized masterlist for all of my fics, but I'm not sure when I'll do that 🤔 To my new and/or returning readers, please keep in mind that I ONLY post on my Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and my AO3 (Aaliah_exo)! Nowhere else except Tumblr and AO3!
Read more of my works on my Masterlist | Maybe support me by tipping me on Ko-Fi or by reblogging my fanfics! ^^ I will also be posting exclusive fanfics on Ko-Fi as well very soon! I might post all of my stories on there too, but who knows. You can also tip me on Tumblr if you'd like as a way to show support! ^^

✧ giving: gifts
As much as Blade loved you, as much as he treasured the memories he shared with you and as much as he'd hate to cause you pain or grief; you were all too familiar with his predicament. You had been ever since you agreed to stay by his side, to love him for as long as you had together. That was the price you'd pay for loving a man who considered himself dead in spirits already. A shell of who he once was.
Part of him felt guilty for indulging you; how could he call himself yours when he'd take the exit from his cursed immortality if it presented itself before him tomorrow? How could he promise you his heart if he couldn't promise you a future?
He knew there was a chance he might outlive you by centuries. He knew there was a chance he'd say goodbye to you in a month. Still, you were willing to be with him, through all the uncertainty.
So he gifts you things to remember him by, should he part from you too soon for your liking. Some of them were expensive; after all he had more than enough life behind him to no longer be bound by material limits. Some of them were simple trinkets or flowers he preserved using glycerine. All of them held meaning but the overarching message was: "We were born in different times. If it were for the natural order of things, we never would have even met. I've been suffering since long before I met you. And yet, curiously, despite all; I treasure every moment I had with you. I'm glad to have loved you."
✧ receiving: physical touch
One thing Blade would have never expected when he met you; but was more than glad to realize, was that you could make him forget his anger and pain, even if it was for just a while; even if it always inevitably returned.
He loved falling asleep in your arms. It was the closest thing to the peace and salvation he craved that he could currently have. For just a few hours, he was content. He had forgotten what that felt like.
He loved the feeling of your fingers carding through his long, dark hair. And you loved the smile you so rarely saw on his face when you did this. Blade's breathing would calm and he'd nuzzle your neck as he was being held in your arms.
Blade also loves waking up in the middle of the night, feeling you shift in bed beside him and pressing a few lazy kisses to his lips before he fell back asleep.
He loves the way you tend to his scars, how you seem to wash the pain off his body with your caring touch; despite feeling guilty for how he has made you worry again. You'd end up disinfecting and bandaging his wounds and sometimes he had to chuckle at how you treated him as if he was fragile, despite having likely seen more hardships than you could ever imagine.

✧ giving: acts of service
Dan Heng doesn't really know how to express his love for you at first so he defaults to helping you out however he can.
He helps you with little jobs around the Astral Express and loves to team up with you for any missions or chores that fall on both of your plates.
Especially with all the knowledge he gathered from the archives and basically living in there; he's more than ready to help you figure out any mysteries you encounter on your journey with the Astral Express.
If he needs to explain anything to you or answer a question you have about stuff like the Aeons or any factions you encountered, he'll often pull you onto his lap at the desk and show you important info about it in a book or online. "I hope I could answer your questions. Did this help you?", he then asks you, looking into your eyes. "Yup!", you shoot him a smile and give him a quick kiss to the lips which leaves him blushing and just staring at you for a while.
"Hey, Astral Express to Dan Heng, you still there?", you chuckle and wave your hand in front of his eyes. He just blinks like, twice and then picks you up bridal style: "Come on, let's figure out that task Himeko gave you." He's just trying to distract from the fact that you flustered him.
Sometimes he tries to cook for you. The emphasis is on tries. You'll walk into the train kitchen and he'll be there stirring something in the frying pan and glancing at a recipe. "What are you doing there, love?", you ask and kiss his cheek. "I'm making lunch for you", he states and you hug him. "Aww, that's so sweet of you!", you press a few appreciative kisses to his lips, "wait why does it smell burnt?" "What-"
✧ receiving: quality time
Dan Heng is what we call 'a good listener'. He's not the best conversationalist but he likes to hear you talk and he remembers stuff you told him that even you have forgotten about until he one day just brings it up out of nowhere.
He loves to spend the time between trailblazing expeditions just hanging out with you. You check your phone and receive a text from him like "Hey, want to come over to my room? 🫀"
"?" "March told me that I should add a heart to my messages to make you feel more loved. Did I not do it correctly?" "Dan Heng, sweetie, no..."
You enter his room and he has made you two cups of coffee, the only thing he's actually good at "cooking". The two of you have decided to watch a movie and lay down on Dan Heng's mattress. "I can feel the bones in my back snapping in half, how do you sleep on this?", you raise your eyebrow. "I don't think it's that bad", he mumbles, seeming lost in thought.
While watching the movie, he has his arms wrapped around you. His only opinion about it is "it was good".
Also enjoys playing board games with you, specifically card games. You're pretty equally matched so there's no telling who wins this round. When he wins, you ask him what he wants as a reward and he just gives you a soft smile and tells you a kiss will do.

✧ giving: physical touch
Jing Yuan is a fairly affectionate man behind closed doors. He doesn't leave for work without giving you as many goodbye kisses as you want and doesn't let go of you throughout the whole night while he sleeps. You could get up and grab a glass of water from the kitchen, as soon as you return, Jing Yuan wraps his arms around you once more; even when he's in deep sleep.
He enjoys just sitting idly with you, both of you doing your own things and he's just holding your hand or has a hand resting on your thigh. He also loves when you lean your head on his shoulder and as soon as he feels you do that, he turns his head to place a kiss on your forehead.
Sometimes you'll be reading a book while sitting between his legs and he ends up pressing multiple kisses to your cheek or trailing them down your neck. He smiles against your skin everytime he does this. He's not always seeking to touch you but he has his clingy 10 minutes where he wants attention and sometimes that happens to interfere with whatever it is you're doing at the current moment.
Most of the time you can't resist indulging him and just kissing him for a while, burying your hands in his hair or cupping his cheeks gently.
✧ receiving: quality time
Jing Yuan loves those days on the Xianzhou Luofu that are so peaceful that he gets to spend the entire day with you. You decide to take a nap during noon, falling asleep in his arms, listening to his steady heartbeat. You feel Jing Yuan press a few soft kisses to your forehead while you're dozing off.
When you awake, he's no longer next to you. You get up and find him in the kitchen, preparing a late lunch for the two of you. You wrap your arms around his waist from behind and glance at the frying pan to see him fry some eggs.
You hear a chirping sound and fish a small finch out of your boyfriend's hair. "Don't worry you, we're not grilling your brethren", you whisper softly and put the bird on the windowsill, "fly free, my little friend." The bird lifts off. You raise an eyebrow at Jing Yuan. "Was this the last one?"
He chuckles. "Should be." This at least gives him an excuse to take a bath with you and maybe you'll volunteer to wash his hair. He loves the feeling of your fingers brushing through his hair and just relaxing and letting you pamper him. "You know, if that's what you want, you can just ask right?", you remind him, "you don't need to call your woodland friends for help." Jing Yuan just laughs and gently guides your chin closer to his face so he can kiss you softly.
He enjoys playing chess against you, though you tend to suggest to play a die-based game instead so you can win by having good luck, because Jing Yuan has several centuries of chess practice under his belt. "You know that still doesn't mean you'll win", he watches you unpack the Ludo game with an amused expression. "I have good luck, I got you after all", you say confidently. "Well I've heard an old saying from a distant planet that when you luck out in love it means you have bad luck when it comes to games", he argues and crosses his arms with a smile on his face. You roll your eyes and he responds by kissing your lips.
Sometimes he watches you play chess against Yanqing. "Does it hurt to lose to an 8 year old?", he teases you. "Silence, Jing Yuan, you taught him this stuff." Your lover lets out a laugh. "And yet he still has so much to learn before he can beat me."

✧ giving: words of affirmation
When Luocha loves you, he doesn't hesitate to tell you. After all, his companion in the coffin consistently reminds him that life is short and he better have no regrets, should misfortune strike him tomorrow. Luocha adores you and in his mind, there's nothing stopping him from letting you know.
He's also a bit of a smooth-talker to you and you only. He never gets overbearing with his flirting, but you can expect a few cheesy compliments followed by a kiss to your hand. He'll pick you up for your date, takes your hand in his and leads it to his lips. "You're as beautiful today as the first time I saw you", he smiles and whispers against your skin.
Getting together with Luocha could take ages if you insist in knowing why he's being so suspicious first; but once you do he's ironically an open book for you. He has shared his greatest secret with you and you've given your hearts to one another, so why should he hold back now from telling you what's on his mind?
Sometimes his words are on the nose, such as cupping your cheeks and telling you that he loves you with all his heart or that he wants you to traverse the stars with him from now on. Sometimes the love he has for you is put into telling you how he remembers certain areas around the Xianzhou Luofu as "that place where you surprised me with a bouquet of flowers when we met up for tea" or "that shop where you almost made the coffin fall over". You learn with time that there are a lot of things he associates with you and your memories together.
✧ receiving: physical touch
Luocha loves your affections. He's the least grumpy man ever in the morning. You could wake him up at 3am for kisses and he'd be down for it. He loves when he wakes up and the first thing he feels is your lips on his cheeks or your fingers running through his long blond hair or your fingertips drawing circles on his bare shoulders.
He pulls you into his chest and you can hear his heartbeat while he holds you close. He lifts your chin up and his lips meet yours before he even opens his eyes. He kisses you softly, his tongue circling around yours as he tries to pull you even closer. "Good morning, my love", his voice sounds raspy before he presses a kiss to your cheek.
Luocha loves to take a walk through the city and hold your hand in his while doing so. He doesn't say it but he definitely melts if you stop your walk for a minute just to give him a hug or kiss him gently.
One time you get caught in the rain and Luocha finds shelter for the two of you under a secluded pavillion. You are cold so he wraps his jacket around you and holds you in his arms until the skies clear. He presses a kiss to the top of your head. "Are you still cold, my dear?", his voice sounds so soft and he gently squeezes your shoulder. You shake your head. He lets out a chuckle. "That's good, then", he replies before resting his head on top of yours and closing his eyes for a while.
He enjoys resting his head in your lap while you run your fingers through his hair. You might be busy with something else, not noticing how he smiles up at you like you're the most beautiful thing he's ever seen (you are). He eventually closes his eyes and rests his cheek against your stomach.

✧ giving: words of affirmation
March 7th talks quite a lot, especially if you were to ask Dan Heng about it. So if she's in love with you; her feelings are bound to slip out with her words. It wasn't hard for you to become aware of her crush on you because she just accidentally blurted it out one day. She was so happy when you told her you felt the same; even if this conversation was the furthest thing from planned.
March loves to explore the civilizations you travel to on the Astral Express and buying lots of souvenirs and clothes from there. So sometimes she'll drag you from shop to shop and often finds things she thinks would look good on you. No matter if you're wearing a fancy suit / dress or a 5 credit neon green "I survived the Belabogeyman attack" shirt from a shady souvenir shop, she hypes you up like you're on the front cover of a popular magazin.
"Aw look, you're so cute", she squeals and hugs you from the side, trying and failing to lift you up. There's at least 5 people in the shop staring at you and the shopkeeper glares at March, silently reminding her to keep her voice at an acceptable volume for a public building. "Oops... sorry", she cringes slightly and then turns to you again with a bright smile, "you should totally get this!"
Everytime you enter her room after a trip you find a new photo you took together on her wall. "Look at your smile on this one", she holds one of them up, "it makes me happy whenever I look at it."
Dan Heng told her to stop talking about you all the time so now she talks with you about you.
Definitely tells you she loves you plenty of times.
✧ receiving: gifts
March loves gifts. She's the kind of person who can't wait to open her birthday presents so you guys have to hide them from her every year; preferably somewhere where she can't reach or won't find them.
So when she receives gifts from you for no special occasion, she's gushing so much.
She loves flowers and chocolates. She definitely has a sweet tooth but will still share the chocolates with you. She is very interested in the meaning of the flowers you gift to her so if you can tell her about that, she'll be all the more happy. She loves romantic gestures like this. She has mostly read about them in romance novels and she's more than thrilled to finally receive them herself.
March also adores jewelry, whether you bought something for her or crafted it yourself. She'll wear it everyday and she's very proud whenever someone asks about it.
She posts about the gifts she receives in her status online as well. She'll be like "y/n got me this! 💓💓💓"
She dm's the pictures to Dan Heng as well and he leaves her on read.
When you gift her something, she gives you a hug and a kiss on the cheek before opening it. Once she opened it, she smiles at you brightly and kisses you on the lips. "Thank you so much for this!", she takes your hand into hers and squeezes it.
Receiving gifts from you makes her so happy. But being loved by you makes you feel like every day is her birthday either way. And for you, every day was March 7th.

✧ giving: quality time
Loving an Aeon wasn't the easiest endeavor. Especially not Nanook. But somehow you had touched the destructive god's heart and for the first time since they became what they were today, there was a life they wanted to treasure and protect.
They don't understand much about the human world as it was today, having mostly spent their time on a different plane of existence. It was only when they connected with you and took an interest in you; that they decided to walk among them for a while, to be able to spend time with you. At first their bitterness became apparent every day they spent with you, only scoffing at the people they saw going about their daily life and the things that they had built; which all would be wiped away by destruction if Nanook were to have their way.
But you took that as a challenge. You wanted to see if you could find something they liked about life, unaware that you had become that very phenomenon.
You made it your favorite pastime to show them all sorts of things from the material world and see their reaction to them. "What do you think of this painting?", you ask them, holding up a work of art you got from a market. "I'm not too fond of the sound it makes and the cosmic essence it depicts", they respond with a deadpan expression and you just look at them in confusion, "right, I forgot you can only perceive three dimensions."
Nanook, despite not letting it show, enjoys spending time with you; even though it could be challenging sometimes considering they were an Aeon and you were not. Sometimes they would ask you about things you couldn't see and other times they struggled to discern what things they saw you could pass through and which ones you considered "a wall".
✧ receiving: physical touch
Nanook loves your touch, much as they would like you to never notice that. They're not used to any physical sensations so they're very sensitive. They're unable to form coherent sentences when you so much as press a kiss to their lips. According to them it was very difficult to convey their thoughts in your way of speech when you were "trying to overwhelm them like this"
Giving Nanook affection also proved to be a challenge in more ways than one. The first time you tried to rest your head on their chest, your cheek touched the golden essence flowing out of them and you could perceive what you could only describe as the worst sensory overload anyone has ever experienced; a colorful mix of incoherent screaming and the faint sound of explosions; the feeling of all-encompassing despair and grief.
"What was THAT?", you stared at Nanook in shock, panting. "The entirety of traces left behind by destroyed worlds and ending lives from at least the last couple millenia", they answered very casually. You sighed and held your head, now suffering from a migraine. "At least it doesn't disintegrate me", you took a deep breath and started rummaging through your closet. "Only if I want it to", Nanook explained. "Charming", you whisper to yourself in a sarcastic way and toss them a shirt, "put this on."
Kisses are such a novelty to them. They're like "what was that?"
"Affection." "Do it again."
One time you pressed several kisses to their shoulder and Nanook just slow-blinked at you for like 5 minutes, before resting their head on your shoulder.
Tumblr media
✧ giving: gifts
Yaoshi loves to bestow "blessings" upon you. Though, you have to teach them at first what you would consider an acceptable present.
The first one is immortality if you want it. Yaoshi would love nothing more than for you to be by their side forever.
Their next attempts at gift-giving left you feeling a little lost. They manifest before you, excitedly grabbing your cheeks and your waist and your shoulders with their hands and pulling you into a kiss. "My dearest, I made you a creature", they exclaim and reveal a Frankenstein-esque abomination the size of a volleyball. You can't quite discern what it actually is but it looks like an abstract mixture of a hamster, frog and a dragon. "Uh...thank you?", you try to be as polite as possible, unsure what to do with the creature as it spits a smaller version of itself onto your bedroom floor and then disintegrates. "It reincarnates out of itself", Yaoshi explains. "I can see that", you nod with wide eyes, patting Yaoshi's head.
One day, Yaoshi guides your spaceship to a distant location. "This is a planet I renovated for you", they join you as you land and explain their thoughts behind all the different new kinds of flowers they created specifically for you. "You're my greatest inspiration", they kiss your cheek and wrap their arms around you.
You eventually sit them down and calmly explain to them that one planet is more than enough and that you definitely do not need another creature. You teach them about your customs of giving gifts and they listen attentively. Maybe a bouquet of flowers would do next time.
✧ receiving: quality time
Yaoshi wants you to stay by their side forever. They perceive the passage of time very differently from you, yet they treasure and vividly remember every second by your side. Your bond of love is a sacred one in their eyes and they want to feel as close as possible to you.
They especially love talking to you and learning about your experiences that are so vastly different from their own. Despite being so intertwined with life itself; Yaoshi learns so much about life just from being with you. They never would have imagined you could give them so many new perspectives on the universe just by sharing your thoughts and beliefs with them.
Yaoshi always listens to you attentively and you see a sense of childlike wonder in their eyes when you speak about the way you experience the world, the things you value and the memories you treasure.
"Isn't it marvelous; how we see the world through such different lenses and are entirely different entities, yet we love each other so deeply and unconditionally", their voice sounds soft as they pull you onto their lap, holding you with their six arms and planting kisses on the back of your neck repeatedly.
Unlike Nanook, Yaoshi is very clingy. Quality Time with you always involves touching you in some way, be it kissing you repeatedly or holding you tightly within their embrace. Sometimes they sing you to sleep with a gentle voice, running their fingertips over your shoulder.

hehe here's this 2k brain rot that @suiana's post gave me (permission proof - not a thief!)
i turned caelus into a they them not sorry. also if the formatting is odd, i’m on my pc and i usually use my phone so.
They’re back.  Again.
March has to stifle the screams of anger she wants to let out as the shackles of stillness finally free her.  Like ice melting Caelus and Dan Heng begin to move around, continuing where they had left them stranded and abandoned, left to stay stagnant at their whim.
The worse thing is that she can’t even complain, not for lack of desire to do so, no, no she physically cannot voice her complaints.  And March knows she isn't crazy, she’s caught the twinge of annoyance in Welt’s eyes when he unpaused; seen the ghost of a scowl on Seele’s face; even the carefully controlled hardened gaze of Dan Heng has cracked before.
The Trailblazer is the only one who hasn’t cracked, obediently stopping when they will them to do so, and ever so happy to come back at their will.  March wants to corner them and ask how and why, if they know what's going on, but alas: she must trot along with her friends at their wicked will.
Dan Heng doesn't know what you are, because surely you can’t be an Aeon.  Aeons don’t hold the powers you do, even if they did surely there would be some record of you in the archives, right?  No Aeon dead or alive has the ability to puppeteer humans, and it frightens him that there is something out there that is using him in such a way.  It embitters him, both the unknown surrounding them and the way he is treated; how his whole world is put on a pause while he remains aware.  Aware of how the breeze stills and the stars stop twinkling, how the world goes silent.  What could hold such power?
A shudder runs down his spine as he follows the Trailblazer’s party.
Welt has witnessed a lot in his time.  Nothing quite like them, though.
Himeko has witnessed a lot in her time.  Nothing quite like them, though.
Bronya, Seele, Sampo, and Natasha have witnessed a lot in their time.  Nothing quite like them, though.
Yukong, Loucha, Fu Xuan, and Jing Yuan have witnessed a lot in their time.  Nothing quite like them, though.
Kafka, Blade, and Silver Wolf have witnessed a lot in their time.  Nothing quite like them, though.
The different paths they all walk may intervene, as their personalities and beliefs may differ but there is one truth they can all agree on.
They hate you.
Caelus doesn’t.  Rather, Caelus can’t help but love you; you gave them life and led them through their trials.  You keep them safe and armored. You help them find the words to face others when their mind goes blank.
To Caelus you are the world.
The Aeons came to know of you when Dan Heng’s frantic searches focused on them for a little too long.  While he was scanning the records they saw you.  You were intriguing from the get go, a pretty thing, sitting comfortably as a figure in the sky. The Preservation and The Nihility, whose current forms allow for more ease with floating went as far as they could to reach you.
Yet you remain just out of reach of the Aeons.
The Abundance uses one of her many arms to steady herself as she crawls along the very fabrics of their reality to get a closer look at you.  And what a darling thing you are!  Excitement that she hasn’t felt in a long, long time, perhaps for the first time ever fills her up inside.  With a shaky hand, she motions for the other Aeons to take a closer look at you.
From there the… shall we say, worship, began.
Nanook, The Destruction, takes note of your fondness for certain characters, and what his darling likes, he likes, so when the Antimatter Legion he has blessed come across the ones you are fond of, their attacks are lighter and they lose his blessing temporarily.  Sure, he wished some of the gushing from beyond the sky was for him, but you so rarely see his face on the screen (only ever in the Simulated Universe you put that Caelus through) he can’t blame you.
IX, The Nihility, will not change in their ways, not even someone like you can shift the nihilism they embody, but, perhaps you don’t notice it, your teams deal better damage over time, don’t they?  Don’t take their blessings lightly, it took a lot to bring them there.
Yaoshi, perhaps makes it the most obvious (despite you never noticing), your favorite vessels get a wonderfully boosted health bar.  You never knew to question how Blade managed to get nine thousand hit points.
It’s hard to pinpoint who thought of it first, perhaps IX or Fuli, but the Aeons, the strongest Aeons, gathered to pull you down from beyond the sky.  Through a (top secret) ritual you find yourself being hurtled down like a meteor into the freezing snow of the Outlying Snow Plains.
You wake to the kind face of Caelus, which is a bit odd because he’s not supposed to be so… high res.  Or real.
“Are you alright, My Lord?”  The title doesn’t immediately resonate with you, so you disregard hearing it.  When you don’t answer right away they frown in worry, hands moving to yours, gently covering them with their warmth.
“What happened?  Why am I here?”
“You fell from the sky, do you not remember?”
“No,” what sky would you have fallen from?  You tend to stay on the ground.
Caelus worries their bottom lip and helps you sit up.  “Oh.”  There’s a pause.  “Did you not mean to come here? I thought….”
“Hm?” You prod, gently encouraging them to talk.
“I thought you were coming to see me,” their face is tinged pink and facing down in their lap.  Caelus’ hands feel hot and you rush to reassure them.
“I’m glad to see you, but I don’t know how or why I’m here,” you pause, cringing internally.  “Caelus.”  Fuck, that is their name right?  No last minute changes?
Luckily their face lights up when you say it and you find yourself pressed into their soft chest, their arms around you in a bear hug.
“You’re really them.”  A breathy, ecstatic phrase.  Their face buries into your hair and Caelus doesn’t loosen their hold until a knock at their door.
“Trailblazer!  Pompom here, requesting an update on Their Grace’s status.”
Caelus gently detaches themself from you and opens the door to reveal the tiny rabbit-oid conductor.  Pompom bashfully rubs their hands together when they catch sight of you awake and looking at them.
“Hello, Your Grace, Pompom is glad to see you awake and healthy.”
What a cute creature, you think.  “Thank you, Conductor Pompom.”
They let out a squeak at your words and nod.  “Pompom needs to go check in on the other passengers, but let Pompom know if you need anything, okay, Your Grace?”
“Oh, thank you Pompom.”  They hurry away, stubby feet padding quickly down the carpeted halls.  You turn your head to Caelus, “what was that about?”
“Hm?”  Their golden eyes meet yours, head tilting.
“Why did they call me those things, Your Grace?”
“Because you are our God above Aeons.  Do you… were you somehow unaware of that?”
The words hit you like a freight train.  “No, I’m not.”  It’s all you can think to say.
Caelus sits next to you on the bed, placing a hand on your knee.  “Yes you are.  We can feel it.  You are the one that controls this world and gives us life.”
Controls this world… and gives them life… fuck, the game… you’ve been playing these sentient beings.  Your tummy hurts at the knowledge .
“Oh, I’m— I’m sorry.”  Your eyes prick with tears, the gravity of what you’ve been doing; how you’ve dragged these people into battles for fun.  You couldn’t have know, but it doesn’t stop the guilt eating at you.
“No, no, what are you apologizing for?”  Caelus’ hands cup your face, a finger catching the tears that drip over the brim of your waterline.  Their voice drops to a whisper, “please don’t cry, My Lord.”
You suddenly feel very watched, like a million eyes are on you.  Caelus never closed his door.  You look up and catch sight of March 7th’s glare.  The intensity of it makes you flinch back, making Caelus look up, over to:
“March, don’t give them that look.”  They scold the girl, who turns the withering look to them.
“Why are you taking care of that monster?  We told you to leave them to freeze in the snow.”  The words make your heart sink.  Being on this side of such venomous words stings, especially from someone you never would have pegged to be so hateful.
Caelus bares thier teeth, a mix of offense and hurt on their face.  “And I told you I would do no such thing to our God.”
“That is no God.”  Her voice shakes as does her head, before turning around and walking away.
“Don’t listen to her.” Caelus shakes their head in disappointment. “She doesn’t understand what all you do for us.  Please don’t hold it against her.”
They, the Astral Express, do not like you.  Caelus and Pompom do, they hold you in reverence, which is better than how March, Himeko, Welt, and Dan Heng treat you.  It’s all dirty looks and only partially veiled insults.  Caelus gets into arguments with them over you.
You hate to think that you’re harming the friendships between them, and when you brought your concern up, Caelus dismissed you saying you are worth it all.
Yeah, there’s that.  You’ve tried to explain that you are not God, but they won’t hear you out.  :(
It’s a perfectly normal day on the Astral Express when the Aeons come.
Nanook is the first one to descend into the Parlor Car; Caelus and Dan Heng immediately drawing their weapons, The Destruction laughs once, eyes moving to focus solely on you.
“It’s so good to see you, My darling Lord.”  His voice is low and deep, and the gold flowing freely from the wounds (?) on his arms leaves a trail on the carpet as he approaches to kneel in front of you.  From your peripheral you see Dan Heng and Caelus share a look before lowering their respective weapons.
Nanook, you recognize him from the Simulated Universe blessings screen, grabs your hand, gracing the back of your palm with a chaste kiss.  His golden eyes peek up at you from behind long lashes.
“How has the Express been treating you?  I regret not being able to welcome you to this existence, but alas the ritual took a lot out of us…”
What.
“Oh, uh,” your eyes flicker around the cabin nervously.  “I’m doing alright, th-thanks…”
“Now, now, don’t tease the poor thing,” a beautiful woman (Aeon) walks in, one with many, many arms draped in soft looking, white cloth.  Yaoshi’s eyes soften when she meets your gaze.  “Hello, Your Grace, it’s an honor to meet you in the flesh.”
Caelus, Dan Heng, March, everyones’ (save for you and the two Aeons) bodies droop, posture faltering.  IX, The Nihility, has arrived.  An odd feeling, akin to that of a weighted blanket, is pushed onto your body.  It’s them, their astral, cosmic form much smaller than what should be made of their status, laying on your body like a boa.  They don’t speak, though you aren’t  sure they could in this form.
Yaoshi’s eyes flicker with amusement, and Nanook pulls himself up.  “The others were unable to make it, but,” her gaze chills and is directed at the crew of the Express.  “We all wish to make it known that disrespect, anything short of reverence toward Our Grace, will not be tolerated.”
Welt visibly shudders at the threat, and Himeko shares a look with Dan Heng.  They need to reflect on how they feel towards you, tha much is certain.

-Honkai star rail characters when reader is in trouble-
Nanook: has never felt so…powerless in their life before. They’re not used to the feeling of powerlessness…for the first time ever, they genuinely don’t know what to do, they’re completely powerless, and can only listen to your screams, and do everything they can think of, but it’s too late…
Welt Yang: Doesn’t know what to do. It’s one of his worst fears being realized: something happening to you and him being unable to do anything about it…He just has to listen in horror as you scream and cry for him and he’s unable to do anything…
Jing Yuan: Is so scared. He’s never been this scared in his life. He’s completely helpless, unable to reach you…he can only listen to you being taken away, screaming and crying for his help, but there’s nothing he can do…it’s an awful feeling, and he doesn’t know WHAT to do…

Honestly, whoever did this to you was an idiot.
It was one thing to antagonize the lover of the Destruction. It was another to physically hurt them.
So either your assaulter had a death wish, or a severe deficit in braincells. Although, you weren't too keen on the idea of just running to your lover - knowing them, Nanook would break all of hell loose, giving them a fate worse than death itself.
You sighed to yourself as you rubbed at your cheek, which had already begun to bruise. Thankfully, you weren't hurt too bad, so you could probably just brush it off with a few bandages and ointment. All you had to do was to hope that Nanook wasn't home today.
But of course, fate wasn't on your side.
The second you opened the door to your shared room with the Aeon, what greeted you was a sight of Nanook in their mortal form, lounging on the bed. They weren't doing anything in particular, simply staring up off into space as golden specks flickered around them like fireflies.
Their eyes flicked to you the moment you walked through the doorway. Slowly, their gaze roamed your body, zeroing in on your injuries - evidence of a fight.
Their expression barely changed, save for the slightest narrowing of their eyes. But the atmosphere immediately dampened, as though a black hole had came and sucked all of the air out of the room. The pressure dropped so quickly that your ears popped, and you winced.
Noticing your discomfort, Nanook immediately snapped out of their momentary rage, and the air went back to normal - only slightly, though.
Wordlessly, they beckoned you towards them with a finger, their right arm open for you. Cautiously, you sat down on the bed, allowing Nanook to wrap their arm around you and pull you close.
They studied your bruise carefully, running their finger across it. Swiping their thumb against it, a bit of their power seeped into you, instantly mending your wound.
"Healed by the Destruction," you couldn't help but muse, leaning your head against their broad shoulder. "How ironic. Aren't all Aeons bound their Paths?"
Nanook only hummed, a deep rumbling in their chest. "I've strayed from my Path twice before. The first was when I fell for you. The second is now. Clearly, the laws of the universe are not as rigid as you make them out to be."
"I guess," you shrugged, closing your eyes. Nanook doesn't breathe, nor do they have a heartbeat, but they are warm. Warmer than a human, more like a flame, if anything. "You're not going to ask who did it?"
"I already know," they merely replied. You couldn't help but feel as though their gaze was quite literally burning into your skin as they stared down at you. "I will take care of them, do not worry."
"Don't overdo it," you sighed, shifting into a comfortable position. "The last time you went after someone who hurt me, you destroyed an entire planet."
"I was killing two birds with one stone," they explained matter-of-factly. You laughed, squinting your eyes at them.
"Mmm, I suppose you were," you admitted. Nanook only smiled briefly before poking your nose.
"You should get go wash up," they advised. "You're filthy."
"Gee, thanks," you scoffed, but stood up regardless. You stretched for a bit, rolling out your shoulders before kissing Nanook on the cheek, and then you were off to the bathroom.
But as you closed shower door, and the Aeon heard water running, Nanook's gaze darkened. They dissipated into golden sparks, the only thing that hinted at their existence being a divot in the bed where they had once laid.
That night, as you peacefully rested, unaware of what was happening, your attacker awoke to flames - dark, dark flames devouring their home world as the Destruction watched from afar, the burning planet resting in their dark hand.

⌗︙・⚠︎ nanook snatching you away and "destroying" you ⚠︎ ♡⸝⸝
To catch the gaze of an Aeon was something like a one-in-a-million chance—hell, it was practically an impossible task that even the likes of Herta would have difficulty completing. You're not sure if her Simulated Universe really counts, but given the number of times that Caelus had informed you of the Aeons he'd encountered, you guess that counts for something.
But when the gaze of Nanook swept over you, you felt anything but happy. It does not feel good, it feels wrong. Just seeing their molten gold eyes in all of their destructiveness focus solely on you made you feel things. Words like fear or dread were not enough to fully encapsulate what you felt at that very moment. You try to convince yourself that it's simply because Nanook is the infamous being of destruction that has made it their goal to eradicate all life within the universe. It's natural to be wary of the very being that wants to snuff out you and everything you have ever known.
But with the lasting impression that their eyes alone had left on you, it's pathetic to think that they had glanced at you with anything good in mind. Especially when they had not so graciously kidnapped you, vision filled with nothing glowing gold and black as it surrounds you——

————————————————————————————ah—.
You don't know why Nanook had taken such a liking to you, nor why they had taken you away from everything you had ever known and into the silent void of the universe. Hell, you don't even know how you're even alive and breathing in a place where that shouldn't even be possible, and yet here you are. Their once imposing and near galactic-sized body has shrunken down to what you can assume is their attempt at forming a mortal body, but they still tower over you. Even when they have made the attempt to look somewhat normal, they are still intimidating, and their very presence makes your skin crawl.
You don't want to look them in the eyes. But of course, Nanook grips your chin and forces you to look them in the eyes, not even a word leaving their lips. Behind those cold eyes, burns an infatuation that a human like you could never possibly fathom.
When they embrace you, it is awkward and cold, and you try to squirm out of their grip and push them away, but Nanook does not take well to rejection. Their already less-than-amicable expression bleeds into something even more unpleasant as their hands squeeze your wrists so tight you can nearly feel your bones shatter from the pressure. Your cries and pleas fall upon deaf ears, and they only let go when they are seemingly satisfied. When they try again, you do not resist their advances, fearing that they may not be so lenient the next time you were to be defiant.
So when they force their lips upon yours, destructive hands sliding up to come and grasp onto your neck, all you can do is close your eyes and hope that whatever their planning will all go by quickly.
Nanook truly lives up to their name as the Aeon of Destruction, that much you can say for sure. They've destroyed your happiness, isolating you within the very confines of an empty and expansive part of the universe for only their eyes to see. They've destroyed any hope and chance of possible escape, making it very clear when they forced you to watch as they destroyed yet another planet like it was nothing and making it clear they could very well do the same to you if you resisted again.
They're destroying your body, rebuilding it into something that desires them just as much as they desire you. Nanook repeatedly embraces you in this strange mortal body of theirs, seemingly viewing frequent copulation as the only possible way they could ever make you, a puny and ignorant human, understand their twisted infatuation. Their huge muscular body completely dwarfs you; you've never felt as weak and small as you do now.
Nanook is destroying your resolve to escape—
"N-no.. not there, s'too much, 'm gonna die—ughk..!" It's becoming harder and harder to breathe and stay focused, no thanks to Nanook's hands squeezing your throat from behind relentlessly. Their hips snap aggressively into yours, cock reaching places that trigger nerves that make your head spin and vision fade in and out. They're too big, too heavy—they fill up your lower belly with their cock, with barely any spare room left for anything else except for the copious amounts of their cum that they pump into you. They have to fill you with them—over and over again—until your mind can just barely grasp and comprehend their overwhelming love for you.
They're utterly ruthless, fucking you through orgasm after orgasm and never stopping to give you any breaks in between. Even when you've passed out because of how intensely they've fucked you, they still continues. Nanook only stops when they wants to, your pleas and cries for them to at least slow down, falling upon deaf ears. But sometimes if they're in a generous mood, they'll comply. Their stoic expression hardly ever changes, save for when they spill their seed inside you and lets out a few grunts and hisses. You're left gaping open, creamy white oozing out from your ruined hole as you try to piece together your pleasure-shattered mind.
Nanook is destroying your resolve to escape—
"Nanooknanooknanookna—" All you can fathom to do is cry out their name, the only plausible thing in your foggy brain. There is nothing around you to hold onto, nothing to at least stabilize yourself while Nanook blows out your backside and ruins whatever coherency you have left. But you can't even cry out their name, as you feel the grip on your throat move to your chin, letting you gasp for a brief moment before even that is destroyed. They're kissing you, drooling into your mouth as they grind their hips up into your ruined hole and groan against your lips as you squeeze and pulse rapidly around them.
Must feel nice, to copulate with and embrace such a destructive and cosmic being like them so frequently. No longer having to worry about mundane troubles anymore, like whether your next paycheck would be enough to support you for the rest of the month or whether the groceries you had just bought were about to expire the day after you bought them. All you have to worry about now is whether or not you'd pass out in the middle of sex because it's all too much or if your gaping hole would be oozing Nanook's seed and they'd have to scoop it all back in. You just have to be a pretty little thing and accept their affection in all of its palpable forms.
Nanook has destroyed your resolve to escape—

YANDERE ! SAGAU (SAHSRAU?) ! NANOOK x READER
Tumblr media
Omfg this is exactly what I was thinking!! I wasn’t gonna post more stuff today but I couldn’t help but think about petty Nanook.
I keep my Stelle at Destruction because of this and cause I have Himeko as a fire dps already.
In any case,
Just imagine Nanook, with all the golden liquid in their hands just shaking it around in anger. You'd think they’ll try destroying TrailBlazer but nooo what they do is even worse. They make sure that every being on their legion attacks everyone but you even when you taunt.
Somehow none of your enemies have a fire weakness and all of it demands a physical dps.
You try building Sushang to compensate? Too bad so sad. She’s dead before you even get a turn with her. Bailu ain’t helping you here either.
And at this point if you the player doesnt give up and idk does something like report it as a bug, they’re already ahead of ya. Sending a message through Hook (mostly cause i thought it’d be funny but also cause she’s in the path of destruction) saying that her honorary member just has to switch back!
Hell he’ll even show a tutorial for you in case you forgot how (like my dumb ass did for a while)
He buffs TrailBlazer like hell and even manipulates your algorithm when you see stuff about HSR. Destruction TrailBlazer is just better. Don’t look at those tier lists, they don’t mean anything! Don’t you see the amount of damage you do?
The upsides (if you see having Destruction TrailBlazer in your team 24/7 as a downside) are that your drops are mmm 👌🏻 godlike. Your TrailBlazer power refills so goddamn quickly. Any destruction character’s banner you pull on has higher chances of appearing.
And last but not least, doesn’t matter if your team and build is ass, as long as you have the destruction path in the simulated world. You’ve already won.
