Finality,the trailblaze and stellarons, and a potential end of Hsr.

So I've been thinking a lot today and I had some ideas about the aeons.

So , Terminus the finality yeah? Aeon of the end, big deal probably,and evidently different enough than Nanook the destruction that the two can exist without one absorbing the other's path, which I think makes sense , because while the concepts may seem similar,I think the two are quite the opposites in their approach to those concepts.

Now , Finality has only been mentioned a few times so far, we only know a small amount about it compared to Destruction, but Finality is about the end in the sense that the end is inevitable and unchanging, their wisdom grants them knowledge of a definite end but no beginning.

Destruction however is a lot more active in the sense that they are working towards the end, the end will be brought by their hands(figuratively and literally).

Followers of the finality as far as I can remember don't really,how do you say, make the same impact that the emenators of destruction, lord ravagers, the antimatter legion and even the annihilation gang (even though it's been said that Nanook did not bless them with thier gaze) make in the universe.

That is to say, the finality knows the end , but the destruction makes it.

That aside, I've also been thinking about how the trailblaze is arguably the most compatible path with any path, this isn't to say that any follower of the trailblaze can become a path strider for other paths while also being a trailblazer, but well, we do have an abnormal case on our hands with TB(the main character,the Trailblazer,this is what I'll be referring to them with for the sake of avoiding confusion), TB has already been gazed upon by 2 aeons, the destruction,and the preservation.

The first aeon was most likely attracted by the will to destroy that TB displayed when fighting the lord ravager, while the preservation was most likely attracted by their determination to save belobog , as well as being potentially attracted by an object of significance (the lance that the first leader of Belobog used, who I wouldn't be surprised if she was in any way blessed by the preservation), and as they go on, TB will most likely catch the glances of every aeon of a playable path (and maybe the non-playable ones too), the reason TB is able to do this,aside from the stellaron hunters working in the background to guide them towards certain roads that lead to meeting an aeon, the stable stellaron TB has, and the fact that they were "made" for this so to say, could be that the trailblaze, a path supposedly without it's aeon (whose dead somehow) is a path that can be repurposed as a base for a new path,keep this idea in mind for the next part.

So Aeons, despite being all powerful,can still die, whether that happens by getting killed, or by their path getting absorbed or by some other way that we might not know, but even if an aeon is killed (not absorbed,killed) ,or they disappear, Thier path stays, the trailblaze still exists as a path, but it's without it's aeon,but what if someone becomes the aeon of a dead path?

What does it mean for a Trailblazer,with a stellaron for a heart, to be able to tap into several paths?well, the revival of the trailblaze in a new form, a form that can somehow includes other paths but does not absorb them, I wouldn't know how that would work though, there is no precedent for it, so this is all just conjecture.

So, Stellarons , seeds of disaster, cancer of the worlds, they just fuck shit up, but TB's is calm for some reason, and I'm thinking what if Stellarons aren't just what we've seen of them, technically speaking while they are sort of implied to be related to the destruction,there is a possibility that they're not destroyers by default,maybe they're just things made of imaginary energy that can be effected by any aeon, but I guess that doesn't explain why every stellaron we've heard of has been a disaster,but if it's true then that would work with what I said about the trailblaze and TB, a vessel that can adapt to several paths.

Now I've come up with 2 possible endings, 1) TB, having the power of several aeons behind them, fights against Nanook and their followers alongside all the allies that they made, and kills Nanook.ooooorrrrr TB creates a new path that absorbs the destruction in an attempt to stop it completely.

Now it's still too early to really guess but I've had this in my brain for quite a while.

Small note: I know not everyone refers to TB with they/them (for both Stelle and Caelus), some just say he/she (which is stupid just say they tbh) but it's kind of similar to how all the aeons have been referred to with They/them,no?

So, the Aeons both control and are bound by their paths. Lan is always on the hunt, for instance.

Therefore, if you were to fuck Nanook, they would be guaranteed to destroy your hole(s).

Also, im not too familiar with the lore, aeon's, and stuff. Especially his personality, so I might get it wrong. So I'll just go with the typical yandere who goes softer with you? For the fluff and since you said reader who's like venti, I view him as free going, so there won't be too many dark things about him being a yandere (and since it's mostly fluff)

♥︎ He softens whenever you're around. He feels like he's wrapped around a warm blanket whenever you praise him or comfort him in any way, so he always seeks for your approval (and attention). You are his world, his everything, his only reason to not already destroy this universe.

Whatever you give him, even if it's the most basic thing ever, he takes care of it and makes sure it's in its top shape and condition! He was enjoying the feeling of resting his head on your lap, intertwining his hand with yours. He listened to your voice as you sing songs, stories, or even just humming. He really wants to hear your heartbeat, so he pokes your arm to catch your attention. As you looked down, you could see something no one could or ever believe.

His smile. He tapped lightly on the spot where your heart was. He savored the sound of your chuckle as you gently lift his head off your lap and made yourself comfortable before letting him lean closer and put his head on your chest. He closed his eyes as he nuzzled against you. He was like a little cat, how adorable.

He was always so jealous that when you shared your smile with others, he wanted to be the only one to see that. He wanted to keep you from others. He glared when he heard the other Aeon trying to call you. Before you could even respond, he pushed you down and hugged you tightly. "Do you really have to go to.....that aeon right now? Can't you stay just this once? Please [name]?" He asks. He would've begged if you didn't respond quickly with a agreement. He smiles and bathes in your warmth once again.

He made a ring out of the flowers he found. He tried to secretly slide it onto your finger, which made you smile. You pretended not to know what he was doing and just played with his hair. Once he was done, you finally pretended to just notice it now. "Oh, did someone put this pretty ring on my finger? Oh, how I wonder who the handsome/beautiful person put this ring on me?"

You chuckled as he perked up. He snuggles against your hand that had the ring on it. "Mustn't I put a ring on yours too?" You played along as he blushed lightly. He could see you using the wind to gather up some flowers into your palm, making a ring for him too! His eyes light up as you put a ring on his finger.

He smiles once again. He's glad that he killed all of your suitors before they could even meet you....He should be the only one who you call "yours," and you should only be with him, you don't need anyone else...

He really loves and adores you. He will do anything to keep you with him

He wasn’t made for love. Maybe that’s why he imagined you in the first place…loneliness? Well. It didn’t matter. You were definitely gone now. But he’d remember you, after all, how could he forget someone who treated him so well?

Jing Yuan: he’d just been so…overworked and exhausted that he never even thought to consider he was just Imagining you were at home waiting for him. He needed you, so he created you, and he didn’t even realize you were made up for some time. That is, until he started noticing ‘gaps’ in his memory. For example he couldn’t remember how you met, or the day of your wedding, and then one day you just…weren’t there anymore. He’s very torn. He knows you were bad for him…it wasn’t right of him to just…live in a fantasy world where he can have someone as amazing as you, but he also misses you. So much. More than he can say.

Nanook: Being an Aeon of Destruction was a lonely path. Nanook KNEW you were just a phantom of their imagination the moment you appeared, and yet, they couldn’t help but indulge the delusion. There was just something about you. You were perfect. Bloodthirsty, yet elegant…Understandable, considering you were an invention of the Aeon of Destruction. The Aeon never really does face the facts and accept that you’re not real though. Nanook lives in their delusion, knowing your fake but believing you’re really there…waging wars in your honor, dedicating bloody victories to your name… Tragic when you think about it.

You come out of nowhere and give your partner a hug burying your head into his chest catching a slight flinch from him.

“What’s this?” He says with a commanding tone and stern face as usual.

“A hug.” You smile and tighten the grip making him falter a bit.

“Oh.” He goes slightly limp in your arms but doesn't break away. You catch a subtle blush on his ears.

The Aeon Of Abundance has one of the most interesting personalities. Calm and delicate demeanor but can easily harm if needed. They treat you with care because you are their beloved after all.

You surprise your lover with a hug, collapsing your body into theirs. You watch their green pupils dilate in surprise but calm after they realize.

“What's this about dear?” A small smile reappears in their mouth.

“I wanted to hug you.” You chuckle and hug tighter.

“I see.” You feel all their arms wrap around you trying to secure you from all the evil outside.

The Aeon Of Harmony is known for her talents and calm but terrifying auras. A title known for kindness but a magnificent body known for pain. She treats you with love and devotion making her a perfect lover.

You decide to burst out of thin air and wrap your arms around her, embracing her tightly. She seems unfazed by this and her mouth stays with that small sweet smile.

“Are you in dire need of my affection dear?” She chuckles ruffling your hair softly.

“Wanted to hug you.” You smile back hugging her tighter. This results in a small laugh out of her and she hugs you back. You feel the intense power of an Aeon around you.

“Of course.” She gives you a warm look.

my favorite detail about honkai star rail at the moment is how the destruction path leans on the tower tarot card (and by extension i think suggests some things about nanook):

so the tower card's associative meaning is of sudden & potentially disruptive change, revelation, and overthrowing (also: the element of fire). it visually evokes a sense of fear and terror, you're staring at a tower being destroyed, at people falling from great heights; it feels like a senseless destruction. but in tarot interpretation it's a destruction that is part of a longer journey: the major arcana tells a story where you go from the fool entering the world through all the archetypes, out of which the tower's destruction leads into the latter end of the major arcana of inspiration, healing, insight, completion.

essentially, yes, nanook is destruction, but now it comes with the implication of being a necessary one. you have to topple the complacent king to enact change. the system under which you have lived is rotten and must be destroyed. change may look scary from afar, especially when you see it as an upheaving split from what you think is a functional present. but change you must. something must be utterly destroyed to usher in a new era.

the foundation is about to crumble. supposed security undermined. life will never be the same again... and is that so bad? the aftermath will bring revelations from the ashes.

So I spoke somewhat about my thoughts on Emanator Sampo here, but I never really thought of it from a design point of view or what kind of powers he would have until just recently. But I actually kind of love leaning into it from a "stage hand" perspective?

Because like. Aha's body in THEIR official art is completely black, giving attention to all the fun brightly colored things around THEM. And that's so fitting for Sampo! He usually prefers to be a side character. He likes to act from the shadows. His is a much more subtle hand.

So I wonder if as an Emanator, a lot of his clothes are actually very dark? Not necessarily plain, still extravagant and needlessly detailed in things like cut and quality with lots of different fabrics and textures and ornamentation, but dark. Or maybe even his skin itself becomes blackened further down his body; his hands in particular are dark, as a sort of sleight of hand reference.

The motif of a lot of straps wrapped around him like in his canon design is still present, but they're all loose and flowing off of him like paper streamers now instead of restraining him or holding him together. He is no longer contained! Or maybe they're still a bit more rigid/heavy, but just draped more like red stage curtains!

And this is like. Fully self-indulgent, but I love inhuman designs, and there's nothing in canon to say I can't do this, so screw it! Go for broke!! Maybe it's not visible to normal people, but Sampo having a second set of arms would be really cool, as further sleight of hand reference. One set is almost normal looking, but his hands are a bright, attention-drawing white, and the other is dark, set almost in the shadows of the first arms, to act less noticeably.

He also has something of a broken heart design to him in canon (the front of his black shirt with its jagged shape down the middle; his coat looks like a full heart shape in the back), and I actually like him keeping that element as an Emanator, because I think it suits him. Sampo says his taste in aesthetics and views on Elation involve human dignity,

and the story he helps create in Belobog involves the long and winding road of resistance and survival and eventual triumph in the face of some very adverse, oppressing odds. (I'm pretty sure I heard he once called Wildfire "artless" though, plus the man acts like he thinks Shame is some kind of dessert, so like ndkdjzjskkd) But the point being!!

I think Sampo is someone who can appreciate heartbreak and angst and tragedy in a story, because it makes the victory at the end all the sweeter. And this would be another thing he shares with Aha, because I think THEY did bless the Mourning Actors partly just to be a little shit, but also because Aha does recognize tragedy as part of THEIR Path, too, and you can see it in some of the game. So a broken heart motif can still suit him, and I like him having elements of both comedy and tragedy. Like his clothing having a happy sun/sad moon (like the moon in Aha's art) or him having both of the traditional comedy/tragedy masks in his design.

And as Emanator, Sampo can maybe play with the stage settings environment, too. Like lights sometimes behave strangely around him, appearing blindingly bright to someone or dramatically dark. Sampo wills it and suddenly there seems to be a metaphorical spotlight right where he wants everyone to look. And when he doesn't want to be noticed, his face seems to be cast in shadow, he seemingly just fades into the background, no one notices or recognizes him and he sneaks away easily. He can create smoke or fog literally out of thin air without his bombs now, too, the air will just suddenly thicken until his stage is obscured, and Sampo can set the scene as he pleases or disappear without a trace.

And in line with being a stage hand, Sampo can direct attention like no other. He was already extremely good at this as a normal mortal, and becoming an Emanator only took it up to 11, past human limits. Sampo points, and all present feel compelled to follow his fingertip. He looks away, and they all follow his gaze. He can even affect the mood of an audience; he can influence everyone to be calm and placid or he can whip them into a feverish frenzy. Sometimes a crowd will start to become unsettled, agitation stirring until it boils over, until it incites a full on violent mob.

And in the middle of all that chaos will stand one perfectly calm figure, face cast in shadow, until they quietly slip away out of sight.
