As much as I love winterkov, I'd like to make a pitch to you for a slightly different ship - Winter King and Hunson Abadeer. I know Hunsimon was this archaic ship from the early times and has essentially been put out to pasture. But like, just imagine in TWK's universe where both of marceline's dads are grieving over her and finding solace in each other, them just helping each other through their grief.

Their also both awful people that would definitely enable each other in being terrible awful people in the funnest way. Then add on the fact that Hudson, a demon, would have a naturally super high body temperature, and Winter naturally has a super low body temperature. There's a Lotta fun stuff that could be done with these two, and no one has seen my vision.

Oh my gosh Anon I can't believe it took me this long to finish this drawing lol. Honestly I'm surprised I've never heard of this ship before, it's soooo juicy with angst! Esp with the introduction of Winter King. So here's my hc:

Hunson misses his daughter terribly, but his aloof nature and intense guilt keeps him from being able to process that sadness.

Winter is inconsolable when he is freed from the crown's madness.

They then begin to play a dangerous game where Hunson sucks away pieces of Winter's soul just to feel something. And Winter is slowly stripped away of his crippling depression, but at the cost of his empathy and kindness. Making him the cold and apathetic person we meet in F&C.

Through various (demonic) fuckery, Simon is freed from the Crown, and may or may not have the closest thing to Satan as a side piece.

Listen. When you share custody for 1000 years, you figure out eventually that your kid's human mom was attracted to the guy for a reason. The reason may or may not be extremely flexible tentacles.

But fast forward 1000 years, Simon is as sane as can be given his extensively long lifespan via the Crown's third jewel embedded in his (ring) finger. (Hunson may or may not have embedded that jewel there, and thoughtfully added a band of gold to embellish it so it looks like a specific hand jewelry)

And it's about the anniversary of the last time Simon saw The One Who Got Away. He may or may not have imbibed a few too many candyquilas. Hunson is there because he has an nth sense for situations primed for maximum chaos. And he totally dared Simon to do it. And Simon is no fucking coward. Thank you very much.

One stolen Hambo later (which Simon will regret immensely upon sobering up), Simon makes a collect call to a 1000 years into the past, where...

"You're dumping me?"

"What? You dumped me! I put the - the Crown on and I nnnever saw you again! You left me!"

"Are you drunk? Where would I go without you?"

"Porchal's chlosing. Lishen, Betty. I jusss wanna say... Wow. You're so fucking pretty."

"Simon, I know who I'm leaving you for!"

Cue Betty jumps through the portal. She plants a big one on Simon, who immediately falls to his ass in a drunken blackout moment. This leaves Betty and Hunson in the same room with absolutely no supervision whatsoever.

So let's break this down by individual relationships and then the throuple

Hunson x Winter: Super rough and experimental, Hunson will typically indulge the kinks Simon won't and is more than willing to put the weak man in his place. Winter fucking loves it and loves the fact Hunson doesn't seem scared of breaking him

Winter x Simon: really gentle. Simon is genuinely worried about the king getting hurt during their sessions, so he's a bit easier on him. There are a lot of sweet nothings and Winter melts in his touch.

Hunson x Simon: More gentle than with Winter, but still fairly rough. It's just Hunson's style. Hunson has to be more mindful of Simon's human body and has to remember to stop choking him from time to time. He's actually the king of aftercare and it makes Simon's heart flutter.

Alright all together now: like I said before Hunson will typically dom them both and he manages to keep them both on their toes. Sometimes literally. He's a bit more forceful with Winter because he knows he can be.

His all time favorite fuck? He had Simon fuck Winter and then he fucked Simon, controlling his pace and making both men cum fairly quickly.

on the topic of hunson/simon... a part of me sees that and thinks that it's so unbearably funny to imagine that it starts to appeal to me in that sense. it has absolutely no basis in canon and you're right to say they'd be more likely to hate each other's guts, platonically. but its like the ship equivalent of sprinkling "everypony" into your everyday speech to me. hunsimon jumpscare. plus could you imagine poor marceline in that situation? i truly think the best way to engage with it would be marcy pov: your 2 dads (chronological) are now your 2 dads (simultaneous) and every moment is unbearable
