I love the thought of Alastor being weird to Husk during the Overlord meetings Husk probably attended. At first thinking that he has found his new broadcasting victim only to somehow come to the conclusion that he is not going to kill but keep this one.

A few glances or even straight up staring at Husk during the meetings, a few touches or even gestures that border on petting, some comments or laughs whenever Husk talks and Husk began to worry that Alastor wanted to kill him.

But no dear, he is reassured by Rosie, Alastor has just taken a liking to you.

You know how cats rub against people they like? And you know that cartoon thing where like- anthropomorphic cats rub against someone and use their tail to rub under someone's chin or something as a way of flirting?

Husk would so do that if he's black-out drunk, I take no criticism.

(I don't think I described that well enough, but I can't find any videos, gifs or pictures of cartoon cats doing this even though I'm certain I've seen it before)

I got hard into Hazbin Hotel and those guys are my faves of the series. And until ep 5 I found myself shipping those two.. (wait, I still ship them but more as AU...)

This was sketched on my D&D notebook during a session. hence the lines. (but shhhh those are glithces).

Okay but what if due to Alastors growing need and obsession with control he becomes obsessed with Husk? Because he had just gotten a reminder that he not only does not control his own soul but also that he does not have full control over his life and that things and people more powerful than him can easily kill him.

To have Lucifer come around more often and Charlie being more powerful than him as well and him losing a lot of respect and maybe not even no longer considered an Overlord in the public eye because of his defeat would only worsen it.

But there is one thing, one person, left that he has still near absolute control over. Even if he cannot even control himself with his mental stability not always holding up due to the growing difference between what he wants, no, what he needs to be and what he is: He still has his Husker.

Alastor: Isn't this fun, my darling? Rosie, relaxing in her bed while Alastor literally rearranges her organs, starting with her small intestine and ending with her heart: oh it's just delightful, deer, I love spending my evenings with you.

like- this is the only deep and personal intimacy Alastor enjoys.
