Trigger Warning: It's not fluffy but there's no real trigger warnings i think, so...

Surprisingly, Alfred would be pretty resistant to dating another nation… at least, before he met you. He’s never had real good relations with any country, and he wouldn’t want to mess up another relationship because of politics. It’s just business anyway, right? At least, that’s what he thought before you took his breath away.

Unfortunately, he does have a pretty American attitude about your country. He absolutely loves visiting, but he never stays for too long. During the summer months, you’ll see him a couple of times a month, but during the winter, he practically lives in your home. Like a street cat who wanders in whenever he needs an escape from the rest of the world. 

But if you ever need an escape too, he’s perfectly happy to be that for you. You two, despite both being nations, have had very different lives. He knows he’ll never be able to truly understand the struggles you face. But he is always willing to run to your aid, holding your hand tightly while you sit on the beach, venting about your struggles. 

But being able to run to you is one of his favourite things about dating you. When he’s with you, he’s got a perfect excuse to cut off everything around him, just basking in how much he loves being with you. But then he gets bored. And he wants to go on hikes to see all your pretty scenery. Hope you like sweating!

Matthew was… nervous to start dating another nation. Anytime he spends any time with another nation, it always turns sour. Whether that be subtle insults, an argument, or him being talked over. But, when he realises you’re a little nation, he feels a lot better. You’ve been talked over a lot too, haven’t you? Yeah, well, no more of that for either of you. He’ll make sure.

You may have a shared history of being dismissed, but he is still pretty different from you. Reason number one, he hates tropical environments. If it gets any hotter than like… 26 degrees, he’s on the verge of passing out. But then he doesn’t even tell you about it! So you end up having to practically drag him back into the air-conditioned car. All while he’s blubbering like, “I’M SORRY! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!”

He does absolutely adore your country, though. One of his favourite things to do is just lay his head in your lap while you tell him stories about your long life, and he can’t stop thinking about how different your lives have gone. But it just makes him fall more in love. Fate shouldn’t have brought the two of you together, but it did! And now he can’t let go… even if you might melt him.

You bring out a very different side to him, too. While he normally can’t even get a single word out against other nations, he’s always standing up for you. You’re hot and he’s cold, you’re small and he’s big, it means you have to take care of each other! He takes that duty very seriously.

Unlike a lot of other nations, Liam is pretty happy you’re a nation too. Most people find him a little bit too… much… but if you work together, you’ll get to know that he’s not always so overwhelming! Plus, no awkward conversation about the fact that he’s like, 200 years old and was never born.

He loves your nation too! It’s a lot like his, hot, full of bugs, and most of it is not easily inhabitable. The only difference is that your place is a lot prettier. At least, on average. Either way, he’s over the moon about getting to know your country. And even more excited to share his with you! It’s like you’re naturally matching.

That’s for sure one of his favourite things about you. Both being island nations (for the most part,) you surely have a lot of similar skills and hobbies. That means he doesn’t have to teach you anything, you two just get to improve together, no struggle along the way. And when he sees your pretty skin, set in the perfect light of the sunset, he always thinks to himself about how much he appreciates you; how you make him better, just by your presence.

Aditya is always surprised by how much he loves you. For a long time, he’s done everything he could to keep away from the other nations. Hard to trust, you know? But with you… he doesn’t mind. Somehow, both of your statuses have become a benefit rather than their usual liability. After all, no one could understand the struggle of immortality quite like another immortal. You make him feel very… safe.

Usually being classified as a tropical country himself, he really doesn’t mind your climate either. Your home feels just like his home (like it was meant to be!) So he can’t help getting a little nosy when it comes to learning about your culture. I mean, you two are similar in a lot of ways, so he’s got to figure out how you’re different, right? Otherwise, you might be related… what?! He’s just being careful!

No, but seriously, he adores how alike you two are. On a global scale, he struggles to keep up with his nation’s changing identity. He’s never really known his place. But you can relate, can’t you? Your thoughts and feelings always being seen as secondary, he’s sick of it. But being able to talk about it with you, makes it a little better. In fact, you end up making a lot of things better. It’s hard for him to think of you as anything other than perfect, and he couldn’t be happier.

Pretty much obvious when he had crush and sometimes have a hard time he tries to hide it away from you because he is naturally an expressive type of person

If you are his classmate, sometimes he leaves some Indian sweets on your table but if you don't like sweets, he could make savoury snacks for you

A little bit more talkative than usual when he is around you as he unconsciously tells you the things he really likes, maybe about his club activity or other things.

A little bit handsy but he would still respect your personal space. He would most likely hold your hand if you let him as he thinks that you have nice warm hands.

Also, he would listen to all of your rent even though he does not understand the, and if you ask him his own opinion. He would try his best to give the answer that you wish to hear.

A little bit easily jealous when he sees there are other guys trying to talk to you but he won't show it because he would still put his charming smile around you and that person.

Also, he would try to make you laugh with some of his Indian jokes despite sometimes it does sound stupid or the joke was too dry that you don't understand the joke at all.

He always wants to be around you and think about you, can be a little bit clingy as he also tries to hog all of your attention but if you need some space. he would respect that and leave you alone.

A slender man with dark brown skin sat at the back of the classroom, engrossed in a conversation with another student who had dark spiky brown hair, and brown eyes, and wearing a pair of rimmed rectangular glasses. In his classmate's hands, he was holding a tiny creature that could grow into a giant if it grew older and it was obviously an elephant's calf.

As they talked, Neraja noticed a hint of distraction in Thailand's, he seemed to be listening to him, but his gaze kept shifting towards the door. It didn't take long for India to figure out the reason. His crush, (Y/N) (L/N) the country of (C/N) was about to enter the classroom and he could feel his heart beating.

(Y/N) (L/N) has a beautiful (H/C) hair colour with (H/L) hair length. As they/she/he has a mesmerizing (E/C) eye colour that could steal everyone's heart. As you walked into the room, the entire class seemed to brighten in his eyes. It was as if there was only you in his eyes and the other person had disappeared.

His friend Thailand who was quite perceptive, noticed a beautifully wrapped box on their desk, which had gone unnoticed by you so far. Without missing a beat, the glasses guy decided to give Neraja a little nudge. "Hey, India, you should probably show (Y/N) the box on your table. It might catch their attention," Thailand points out. "I'm sorry but no. I'm sure (Y/N) is going to notice it sooner," Neraja smiled at his friend.

As the class progressed, Neraja nervously stole glances at (Y/N), hoping you would glance in his direction and notice the mysterious gift on your desk. Would you notice the box? Would you figure out that it was from him? Minutes turned into hours, and the anticipation weighed heavily on him.

Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, (Y/N)'s eyes flickered to the small box on her/his/their desk. You hesitated for a moment, a puzzled expression crossing your face. With a soft smile, (Y/N) picked up the box and began to unwrap it. India held his breath as (Y/N) revealed the contents.

Inside it is a handmade spiral sweet that seems to be some kind of fried dough that was coated with corn syrup. It is one of the most popular delicacies in his country. (Y/N)'s eyes widened in surprise, and a warm blush crept across your cheeks as you realized someone had just given you a sweet.

She/he/they couldn't help but smile at the obvious handmade Jalebi that is inside of the small lunch box as the smell of the sweet is mouthwatering. As Neraja looked up and saw the person with (H/C) hair colour. His heart skipped a beat, his crush was walking up to him and she/he/they was smiling!

The prince-like Indian guy swallowed nervously, trying to muster the courage to speak to his crush as he tried to make himself look natural with his friendly smile despite the reddening cheeks giving it away. "Namaste (Y/N), is there anything you need?" if he had a tail, it would be already wagging excitedly. "Thanks for the Jalebi, Neraja. It's really sweet of you that you gave me this," (Y/N) said.

Gupta Muhammad Hassan - Egypt

He is a mix of obvious and can hide his crushing on you, he's a man who doesn't talk a lot as he doesn't express his emotion a lot. Although, his cheeks would be slightly tinted pink when he is around you.

The reason I said he's not as obvious as India is because each time you almost caught him staring at you. His eyes were already cast away and seeing other things even though you felt someone was staring at you.

Even with you, he could still be brutally honest and speak just a few words as he acts like he doesn't want to speak with you at all so it seems that he hates your gut.

However, all of those are just a facade to hide his real emotion because he is actually EMBARRASSED to talk with you and he does not know how to start a conversation.

When he is staring at you, you could mistaken him that he hates you because of his blank looks but if you notice the lights in his eyes. He's actually starstruck with your beauty.

Also, Gupta is also the type that would also help you when there is a chance where he could get close to you as he would stay close to you and glare at those who are trying to approach you when he is there.

Actually, he would also listen to you when you vent and he is a much better listener than India because he doesn't get distracted as easily as India and he could give a better answer for you.

If you hold his hands, he would have a much funnier reaction because he would immediately freeze as he is trying to process what just happened but instead of getting annoyed. He would just let you hold his hands,

A guy with a white cover on his head found himself once again in the heart of the United Nations, a place where the hopes of the countries could help each other or finish all of the countries' problems through a meeting to talk about how to solve them. He gazed around at the representatives of the many nations, bickering, pointing fingers, and arguing over resources, boundaries, and ideologies.

It seemed as though the world's problems would never find a resolution here. Egypt sighed in annoyance, his patience wearing thin. He had seen countless meetings like this, where representatives of nations played a never-ending game of one-upmanship. Every nation vied for dominance, wanting their voice to be the loudest, and their interests to be the most important.

Just as Gupta was lost in his thoughts, his fullgreen forest eyes caught the sight of a person with (H/C) hair colour with a (H/L) hair length sitting in front of him. They/he/she was seated next to another country's representative, engaged in an animated conversation, and a bright smile adorned their/his/her face.

Gupta's heart skipped a beat as he watched them/him/her, his cheeks beginning to flush a little bit as the picture of his crush noticing him went through his head and he was hoping that maybe just one day you notice him. However, it was not easy to just come up to you and start the conversation.

Gulpta is not a man of word, he is a man of action and if he tries to start the conversation. It is only going to end up with a simple 'Hello' and a 'Goodbye'. The man with the white cover found himself lost for a moment, unaware of how long he had been staring. His resting face often gave the impression of anger, despite his internal feelings being quite the opposite.

The country next to (Y/N) seated beside her/him/them, couldn't help but notice Gupta's intense gaze, and they shivered in fear. The expression on Gupta's face led them to believe that he hates (Y/N)'s gut without any reason. In a hushed whisper, (Y/N)'s concerned friend leaned over to your ear. "(Y/N), what the heck did you do? I see someone staring at you as if you burn his entire place!" they said.

The girl with (H/C) hair colour furrowed her eyebrows, confused by her friend's whispered concern. She turned to see what her friend meant, but by the time she looked, Egypt had already averted his gaze, his attention fixed on a note laid on his table. Confused, you returned your gaze to your friend and shook your head a bit. "What are you talking about? No one is staring at me,"

As Egypt shifted his attention back to the world meeting, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions. On one hand, he sighed in secret relief that (Y/N) hadn't caught him staring at her, he did not want (Y/N) to think of him as a creep. Yet, on the other hand, he couldn't help but hold onto a glimmer of hope that perhaps, one day, (Y/N) would notice him, and they might strike up a conversation.

On the other hand, (Y/N) held a secret wish of your own. They/he/she longed for the day when the guy with a white keffiyeh, would gather the courage to strike up a conversation with you. However, the reality of your life was often consumed by the mountain of paperwork bestowed upon you by your demanding boss.

Wibawa Prayogo - Indonesia

When he has a crush on you, it's not as obvious as India. In fact, it is much harder to find out that he has a crush on you or if he is just being friendly.

Around you, he could still smile around you and still be comfortable when you are holding his hands or touching him. He would still act like everything is fine despite screaming internally and panicking that his crush just touched him

We can see that Wibawa is an extrovert as he can get along with everyone and female countries could be mistaken for him being friendly as being flirty.

Now the way that you find out that he is actually has a crush on you that he would listen to your deep talk. He's not the type of a person that likes to tell other people about himself so if he is vulnerable around you, he has a crush on you.

Also, he would be much more teasing around you. Not in a mean way but in a cute and compliment way "Lookin' good today, cutie" with a cheeky smile.

And if you have his phone number, he would be always waiting for you to reply to his text messages and sometimes he would text you all night, forgetting that it's already four in the morning.

His words would become softer and his eyes would be brighter. each time he speaks with you. Sometimes, he would slip some hints to you that he has a crush on you and secretly a little bit upset but also relieved if you are dense.

Always wants to be with you constantly and always thinks about you but tries to make it less obvious because he does not want to be seen as a creepy guy.

In the dim light of the classroom, a group of friends had gathered for an evening of laughter. Among them was a guy with jet-black hair and striking golden eyes like the colour of honey. He sat at a table with his friends, who were all joking and sharing stories, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy.

Wibawa couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh at one of his friend's jokes, his golden eyebrows gleaming with amusement. He was thoroughly engaged with the story of how his friend was caught that they were eating while cooking in the back of the classroom but instead of getting punished, the teacher also joined them.

Everyone at the table was having a great time, except for one person. The person has a (H/C) hair colour and a pair of (E/C) eye colours. Their/his/her face was illuminated by the pale glow of their phone screen, which they/he/she were glaring at with a mixture of annoyance and frustration. Their/his/her brows were furrowed, and it was evident that you were preoccupied with something on your phone.

Wibawa, ever perceptive, couldn't help but notice that (Y/N) seemed to be upset or irritated about something. He excused himself from the conversation at the table and made his way over to where (Y/N) sat. With a concerned look on his face, Wibawa gently asked, "Hey, (Y/N), is everything okay? You seem a bit off today."

(Y/N) sighed and looked up from their/his/her phone, meeting Wibawa's warm, caring gaze. "It's just work stuff," they/he/she replied with a tired smile, appreciating his concern. "Don't worry about it, Wibawa," you told him and waved your hand outward, trying to shoo him away. "Well, if you ever want to talk or need a distraction from that screen, I'm here for you," Indonesia pulled up a chair next to (Y/N).

The reason Indonesia was so eager to cheer (Y/N) up was a deeply held secret that he had guarded for some time. In reality, he had a crush on her, a feeling that he had kept hidden behind his friendly and approachable demeanour.

Indonesia, inspired by the warmth of the moment, immediately had an idea. With a friendly smile, he turned to (Y/N) and suggested, "Hey, why don't you come sit next to me? I'd love to introduce you to my friends. They're an amazing bunch, and I think you'd fit right in." His eyes sparkled with excitement.

You were taken slightly by surprise as Indonesia suddenly offered you a place next to him. She accepted the invitation with a shy yet grateful smile. They/he/she stood up from their/his/her chair together with Indonesia and made their way towards the group of friends.

However, just as they were about to join the lively circle, Wibawa did something that took them/his/her aback. The sudden physical touch of his hands holding your smaller/bigger hands ignited a flurry of emotions within (Y/N), and a deep blush crept across your cheeks. It seemed that Wibawa's feelings were more than just a secret crush, and this small gesture spoke volumes about his affections

— dogtooth by tyler the creator, the theme from big wave by kaiyo (a little niche but it’s a banger), alcohol free by twice (shows in alfred’s bit oops!), i want you by savage garden, leão de bronze by quinteto ternura, and premier gaou by magic system.

not really a playlist for this piece but songs that i recommend you all listen to! 

> kabir!

— he goes into tourist traps willingly. he wholeheartedly goes into little shops just to get scammed by buying overpriced silly trinkets. kabir just likes having them. you didn’t know this about him at first though, so it worried you in the beginning when he’d come to your country and waste money in various tourist traps. one day you pulled him aside, telling him bluntly that he was throwing money away on useless items. kabir simply laughed, shaking his head. “i know,” he replied, chuckling a bit, “it’s fun though. and i like the cute toys.” ever since then you’ve just let him do as he pleases. occasionally you’ll scoff or roll your eyes as he insists on going into a trap shop. at this, he simply teases that he’s just “supporting your economy” and that you should be happy he’s spending so much money. 

— even as friends, he dotes on you a lot. it’s not very parental, more like a sarcastic older brother type of caring. is your economy okay? need help with resources? kabir will complain about how you’re less mature than he is while working hard to help you fix whatever issues you’re facing. he also makes sure to check on you, the person. you’re more than your country and sometimes you need a reminder of that fact. if you’re ever trying to get out of a work meeting, just give him a call. he’s got the perfect excuses ready for you to use. its just his way of showing his care and appreciation. 

— kabir really enjoys sharing food with you, like seriously. oftentimes for lunch after meetings you’ll bring a bag full of your favorite foods and he’ll do the same. the two of you will switch bags and try out new things. of course, there’s always lunches where someone doesn’t like something. everyone has different tastes. it’s not the end of the world though. eating and talking together has allowed the two of you to get even closer, so the tradition doesn’t end even once you’re in a relationship with kabir. he’ll even get jealous if you offer food to other countries, especially countries like china or england. 

— he has one of the best beach bodies known to man. okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, but he is extremely attractive. it’s hard not to feel giddy as he comes out of the changing rooms shirtless with some swim trunks and flip flops. being a long-standing country, kabir has been around for a while and it shows in certain ways. still, he’s hot. he doesn’t hesitate in teasing you for looking at his body. it’s okay, because you can tease him for the same thing! he’s not the type to stare  but trust and believe he’s enjoying the sight of your body the same way you’re enjoying his. 

— he pays attention to the little things, especially when you start talking about your country and your history. you’ll be strolling with kabir, musing about how the coastal city you’re walking in used to be a major trading port maybe two or three centuries ago, and he’s just listening. he may not speak much but he nods his head in acknowledgement. in his eyes, understanding a person's history is vital to understanding the person themselves. that’s not the only thing he pays attention to though. he notices other things like body language too. he notices when another country has said something insensitive to you and he won’t hesitate to step in and stand up for you. kabir also notices when you’re eyeing something in a window of a shop— you can consider it yours, by the way.

— he loves holding your hands and hugging on you. kabir loves to pamper you in public but behind closed doors he’s a complete drama king. he’s not above whining or pouting when he’s mildly upset. if you’re cooking then he’s there, wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing your neck while muttering sweet nothings. if you’re reading then he’s in your lap, quietly asking if you’ll read aloud so he can listen. he’s considerably clingy but he’s also considerably charming and cute so he gets a pass.

— for your first visit to his country he takes you out on a huge aquarium date. the aquarium you go to is of course the sea life sydney aquarium. brett talks a lot during the date, passionately informing you about the marine animals there. when you reach the shark exhibit he decides to take hold of your hand, even if you’re not scared. he sizes up the sharks before turning to you and joking about how he could take them in a fight. or at least, you think he’s joking. you hope kirkland’s joking.. he’s happy to have you in australia, but he’s really happy to be showing you the sea life. it’s something that he figured the both of you could enjoy. your country’s surrounded by water.. his country’s surrounded by water.. it just makes sense. at the end of the date he’ll buy you both souvenirs from the gift shop. for the next date, brett’s thinking whale watching would be fun. 

— when he’s visiting your country, he loves to match outfits with you. he’s used to hotter temperatures so his closet matches your weather for the most part. cheesy matching couple shirts are definitely a thing with him, though if you say no he won’t continue to push it. even if you two have completely different fashion styles, kirkland’ll try to make his outfit coordinate somewhat with yours. it’s just something he finds to be cute.

— brett is the type of boyfriend to call you at one am talking at the speed of light about some sort of incident he’s gotten himself into. he loves calling you when the two of you are apart. hopefully you’re fine with hearing him ramble on the phone about nothing and everything at the same time. he’s also the type of boyfriend to sneak out of work with you, slyly leaving a meeting in london so the two of you can explore around and enjoy each other's company. kirkland takes full responsibility whenever you’re caught in the act, though his mischievous glances at you are a clear sign that you’ll be sneaking out again like rowdy teenagers sometime soon. he’s the type of boyfriend to think of you as the best thing to ever happen to him. he’ll kiss your hand and pretend to be a gentleman, smiling as you laugh at his behavior. 

— he claims that you’re his good luck charm but brett’s just a lucky man in general. occasionally his luck will rub off on you and you’ll call him to talk about it. he likes to say that his love for you is just so strong that even when you’re apart he’s there making things better for you. it’s cheesy but when you walk along your capital city one day and find a large amount of money just barely hiding in the crack of a sidewalk, you really do start to believe it. it’s not logical in the slightest but hey, it’s sweet.

— he is naturally touchy. kirkland has one hand on you at almost all times. especially when it’s the two of you out on a date. what can he say? you’re a catch! he’s sure that if he didn’t hold onto you, someone else would try to steal you away from him. though he’s not easily jealous, he doesn’t enjoy the thought of someone trying to flirt with you. typically he just holds you by the waist. if you’re ever uncomfortable just talk to him about it— brett never wants you to suffer in silence, so trust me when i say he appreciates it when you speak up. he believes firmly in talking about your issues and working through them together. the two of you can find a nice compromise that works for both of you.

— kirkland loves playing on the beach with you! please, please take him out to one of your beaches so he can play volleyball or go surfing or build sandcastles. he’s a pretty outgoing person too, so it’s easy for him to find friends at the beach. if you want to just sit out in the sand and relax, that’s fine with him! he’s not one to sit still for too long but he’ll try to come check on you in between playing on the beach.

— he loves going to the beach with you and walking along the beautiful sandy shores that your country is filled with. jones absolutely adores the feeling of the sea breeze hitting his face and running through his hair as he plays beach volleyball or builds sandcastles. the waves are perfect for surfing, an activity he’ll undoubtedly try and partake in. alfred’s no stranger to beaches of course. he has plenty of his own back home. however your beaches are so pretty with such clear water and gorgeous sand almost 100% clear of trash. he’s almost jealous about how well taken care of your beaches are. your citizens seem to care about keeping beaches healthy just as much as you do.

— he gets a ton of tiktoks about food from your country, specifically the fruits. every so often he’ll try to play expert and will grab fruit and eat it raw right off the plant. jones isn’t dumb enough to eat something poisonous, but it’s still a little embarrassing. especially considering no natives of your country actually eat fruit right off the plant. he enjoys eating all sorts of cooked meals that are favorites in your country. he’s not afraid to try new things so if you recommend him something a food, he’ll definitely check it out.

— alfred falls for nearly every single tourist trap he happens to see. though he’s your friend, he’s still technically a tourist to your country. it’s something you failed to notice at first until one day while visiting he left you and came back with an armful of little souvenirs. they were useless and you told him that but he didn’t seem phased. jones told you that he’d treasure them until the day he died. basically, he’d treasure them forever. it was cute so you let it slide that day, but from then on you made a note to keep him away from tourist traps. he’d probably go broke if you didn’t keep an eye on him. the souvenirs alfred did manage to sneak off and buy were used to decorate the personal homes he had around america. they were accompanied by keepsakes from japan, denmark, and a few other places.

— inviting you over to america is a whole different can of worms. really, jones is not sure which state he should show you first— maybe hawaii or cali because they’re somewhat similar to your country.. maybe new york or maybe even florida.. actually no, not florida. never florida. maybe arizona or new mexico (you’ve seen breaking bad, right?) or alaska so that you experience the snow. the decision process isn’t made easier when you comment on going to new york and arizona in the same day. alfred has to explain to you that his country is huge and going to all the states you wanted to see in the same day was simply impossible. there’s a lot of american things he wants to show you as a sort of thank you for showing him your country.

— the two of you make a pretty cute couple as boyfriend and girlfriend. it’s a little jarring at first, since he’s very american and occasionally ignorant on issues concerning your country but jones isn’t above learning to be better. as long as you call him out on his bullshit then he’ll change because really, he does love you. fully and wholly, he loves you. he shows his love when he visits your country and instead of playing on the beach he helps you pick up trash. alfred shows his love when you come to america and he waits at the gate, running and hugging you as soon as he sees you. he shows his love when he takes you to basketball and baseball games and kisses you even when you don’t appear on the kiss cam. 

— jones is obsessed with the drinks from your country. he finds that both the alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are delicious. they seem to come in an endless combination of interesting flavors. they always leave him wanting more. when he sees you during breaks in between meetings, he’ll occasionally beg for a sip of what you’re drinking. he’ll ask to ‘waterfall’ from your cup, giving you a strong dose of puppy dog eyes so that you give in. if you manage to stay strong, it’s not the end of the world— alfred will just ask you to bring a drink for him next time. if you give in though, he’ll happily give you a bone crushing hug before tasting some of your drink. ah, so refreshing!

— williams really enjoys learning about your local wildlife, especially if you have a species that’s native solely to your country. he’s very invested in wildlife conservation and protection in general, so hearing about the plants and animals that are protected here in your country is pretty cool! he wouldn’t mind visiting a few centers or zoos in general and seeing the animals up close. if you do end up taking him there, be prepared for a lot of picture taking. matthew actually prints out some of the pictures he takes of the two of you together, framing them in his bedroom. it’s nothing big, just a small framed picture or two on his nightstand. in general, he’d bond a lot with you over wildlife conservation.

— you two dress like complete opposites due to the differences in weather. it’s a little jarring when either one of you visits the other’s country because both of you always underestimate the difference in weather. at this point, it would be more productive for you to have two closets— one for home and one for canada. williams doesn’t complain much about the weather even when he’s not properly dressed for it. he just sits and suffers silently until you notice and make him change into something more fitting. 

— he sometimes worries you’d like his brother more than him. i mean.. alfred is the more outgoing one out of the two.. it just feels like you guys are total opposites. you’re a tropical country meanwhile his country is pretty cold.. every so often matthew thinks of the two of you as too different for each other, not really realizing that you two have a decent amount of stuff in common. even if you were complete opposites, opposites attract! you love him just the way he is. you’ll have to remind him of that every so often. give him a good talk and a few kisses to the cheek or a nice hug. he’ll feel just fine after that.

— williams would absolutely love to take you out to go ice skate on a frozen pond or play in the snow. he wants to be the one to introduce you to these things. even if you’ve already been in the snow before.. maybe he could reintroduce this sort of stuff to you. he finds the whole idea of a snow day with you to be romantic.

— stereotypical but please go to a hockey game with him. please please go to a hockey game with him. the first hockey game you go to with matthew is a special event. he makes sure to get you both the best tickets he can. of course, you’re both decked out in merch for the team he roots for (don’t worry about not owning any, he has plenty to share). he even goes as far as to ask for good luck kisses before the match. every time his team scores he cheers his head off before hugging you and thanking you for your luck. even if his team loses, williams is just happy to have gone out with you— though next time he will be asking for two good luck kisses instead of just one. actually, how about a kiss for every member of the team? he’s sure they’ll win then. 

— he definitely enjoys your sunny weather though he’s a bit shy about his body. he doesn’t suffer too badly with his self image, but matthew gets self conscious every now and then. usually this doesn’t hold him back though. once he sees you waiting for him he puts his fears aside. as long as you love him and his body then who cares what someone else thinks? plus it would be improper to keep a lover waiting. especially when you look so good in your swim outfit.. of course he’s joining you in having fun on the beach.

India is a positive give just like a Golden Retriever so it is expected that he would go far to make your dating experience great together with him.

It is not surprising because he is a friendly guy. He would make one of the great gentlemen. It is canon that India is polite and would tell everyone 'namaste' which means in India it means hello.

Would keep holding your hands when the two of you are in the crowd as he does not want to lose you because he's scared that there's a bad guy planning to hurt you.

Does not get angered easily and he has a high patience. The only thing that might piss him off if you are making fun of his culture since he's proud of it. He is generally a sweet guy so don't try to anger him.

If you love sweets? He would bring you to Indian markets that sell the best Kulfi (Pistachio Ice cream without eggs) or Jalebi ( A spiral-shaped sweet made out of sugar and saffron).

Also, he would also bring you to those markets that sell the best milk tea. After all, India is most known for their Milk Tea and many people love their tea.

Since I did mention he is a sweet guy. Sometimes, he would let you ride his elephant. He loves animals but he mostly loves his elephant so you are lucky if you never ride this animal. he would offer you to ride them with him behind you.

Don't bother trying to argue with him. He can be quite argumentative just because I told you he is sweet and polite. Which is sucks because when he is getting mouthy, he already had some resources to counter your argument.

(Y/N) sat by the window, their/her/his heart racing with anticipation as (Y/N) waited for their/her/his boyfriend Neeraja to come home. The gentle lights coming from the sun shining and cascading onto (Y/N)'s skin provided soothing thoughts for you. As the minutes ticked by, your excitement grew, and (Y/N) found yourself constantly glancing at the clock.

From far far away, Neeraja guided the gentle giant back towards home. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow across the lands. Neeraja's heart skipped a beat when he spotted the certain person with (H/C) hair colour and (E/C) eye colour already waiting for him.

A smile spread across his face as he urged the elephant to slow down, and he waved his hand enthusiastically to catch (Y/N)'s attention. From the distance, their eyes locked, and a rush of happiness filled him. (Y/N)'s face lit up as they/she/he recognized Neeraja and the elephant, and they/she/he waved back with equal enthusiasm.

Neeraja gently directed the elephant to a halt as the two of them already reach his palace. Neeraja dismounted himself from the back of the gentle giant. Neeraja carefully slid down from the back of the elephant, and landed softly on the ground, his feet finding their footing with practised ease.

The slender man with dark brown hair's heart raced with excitement as he closed the distance between himself and (Y/N). A mixture of joy and longing was evident in his eyes. (Y/N) had to step out of the palace. (Y/N) descended the stairs, each step carrying a mix of excitement and love.

The door closed behind them with a soft click, leaving a momentary silence in its wake. Neeraja's eyes lit up with delight as he spotted (Y/N) walking down the street. Without a moment's hesitation, he broke into a joyful sprint, closing the distance between you and him in an instant.

He smoothly wrapped his arm around (Y/N)'s waist, pulling you into a warm and unexpected hug. (Y/N)'s cheeks flushed with a rosy hue as Neeraja's playful embrace took you by surprise. In a playful and lighthearted gesture, Neeraja twirled (Y/N) gently in his arms, prompting a delighted giggle to escape (Y/N)'s lips. "I miss you so much, dearie," he gently set you down on the ground.

With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Neeraja extended an inviting hand to (Y/N), a spontaneous idea forming in his mind. "How about we take a ride on my elephant together?" he suggested with a playful smile. (Y/N)'s eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and excitement, and a grin slowly spread across your face as you nodded in agreement.

Neeraja helped (Y/N) onto the elephant's back, ensuring their comfort and safety. Once settled, Neeraja mounted behind them, his arms encircling (Y/N) protectively as the elephant carefully and slowly stood up on its leg. The world seemed to take on a new perspective from up there.

Egypt can be blunt and tactless when speaking but that does not mean he is heartless. He's just introverted and observant but secretly he does have a soft spot for you.

Very protective of you and you know how hot it gets in the desert so if you are travelling around the Sahara desert with him. He will make you wear tons of clothes that cover you from the sun.

Also, let you ride on his camel when the two of you are travelling in the desert as he also already prepares many drinks when the two of you are going on travel since he did not you to be dehydrated.

Secretly is a tough guy so he would not even let any dangerous desert animals come close to you, especially the cobras, the scorpions or the Nile crocodiles.

Despite his cold exterior. Egypt actually can be quite cute. He's very easily blush if you give him affection like a simple kiss on the cheek already made his cheeks go pink.

He might not show it but secretly he does get jealous when you are around Turkey because he knows many women and men like Turkey so he would most likely watch over you when interacting with his friend.

If you ask about it. Not going to admit that he is jealous as he would just say "I do not understand what you mean. I'm sorry," and then walk away with you still confused.

If you are observant enough. His love language is actually the service of act and then quality time together with you. It's not really easy for him to show how much he loves you like how India did for his S/O.

Muhammad Gupta stood before the mirror, his khaki uniform neatly worn, representing his country as Egypt. He reached for his white keffiyeh, carefully unfolding it before draping it over his shoulders. The soft fabric settled against his chest, a symbol of tradition and identity that connected him to his heritage.

(Y/N) (L/N) stood hidden behind the slightly ajar door, observing Muhammad Gupta with a mixture of curiosity and anxiety, worried if anything bad happen to him. Everyone knows the desert is not a friendly place for human beings, there are many deaths because of the heat and because of the dangerous animals in there.

A subtle intuition tingled at the back of Muhammad Gupta's mind, a feeling that he was not alone in the room. Slowly, he turned around, his gaze shifting from the mirror to see (Y/N) already standing there. The man with white keffiyeh could not help but sigh at (Y/N). "Is everything alright?" He asks (Y/N) who is still standing behind the door.

(Y/N)'s gaze met Muhammad Gupta's as you hesitated, then finally spoke up. "Hey, do you think I could join you on one of your desert trips sometime?" you asked with a hopeful smile. Muhammad's expression softened, and he took a moment before responding, his tone tinged with concern. "I appreciate your interest, but the desert can be quite challenging and unpredictable. It's not without risks, and I wouldn't want you to get hurt." His words carried a mixture of protective care and a desire to keep you safe.

A flicker of disappointment crossed (Y/N)'s expression. You took a moment to process his concern before mustering up the courage to respond. "I understand your worries, Gupta. But I promise to be careful and follow your guidance. I really want to see what the desert looks like as well as the pyramid. I promise I will be careful," (Y/N) is begging him to let her/him/them go with him.

Muhammad was a little bit hesitant, seeing the genuine desire in (Y/N)'s eyes. He couldn't resist the sight of (Y/N) pouting slightly, her/his/their bottom lip jutting out in an adorable manner. Another sigh escapes from his nostrils along his mouth, shaking his head slightly as he realizes that he just gave in because of the way you act. "Alright, "but you'll have to promise to follow my instructions and stay close," (Y/N) smile was glowing bright once you hear Gupta finally letting you go.

As (Y/N) relished in the triumphant moment of convincing Muhammad Gupta to let them join him in the desert, a gentle rustling drew their attention. Turning towards the sound, (Y/N) watched in astonishment as Muhammad reached into his wardrobe and pulled out another white keffiyeh. Without any words, the man with white keffiyeh steps closer and puts another white keffiyeh on top of your head.

Muhammad gently placed the white cloth over (Y/N)'s head, letting it settle atop your hair. Confusion mixed with surprise painted on your facial expression, and they blinked at him in disbelief. "What's this for?" (Y/N) asked, their voice a mixture of curiosity and amusement. Muhammad was silent for a moment before he spoke, It's to protect your hair from the sun. It's going to be very hot in there," he commented.

A soft blush crept onto (Y/N)'s cheeks as (Y/N) connected the dots. Gupta's caring gesture, his concern for their well-being, and the way he delicately placed the keffiyeh on their head all fell into place making you realize that he does not want you to get heated because of the sun from the desert. Your eyes looked up at him, their eyes reflecting a mixture of gratitude and affection. "Thank you," you whisper silently with a little smile on your face.

Wibawa Prayogo - Indonesia

Almost like India, he doesn't get angry easily despite he often fights together with some ASEAN countries, especially Malaysia like siblings. Although, he has a little bit more temper than him and is a bit less polite.

Indonesia has a double side which is his bold side along with a shy side surprisingly. His bolder side is he is going to bring you around Jakarta on a motorcycle and just let you taste any delicious street food.

Would often fluster you with his little teasings. He can be a little bit of a prankster, sometimes would call you 'My dear, love, My sweet' and the cringiest is 'Ayang' which has the same meaning when you call people honey. He really loves to use those endearment pet names for you.

Also, going to bring you to his Komodo dragon island sometimes and let you interact with his Komodo dragon pet. Not only his Komodo dragon, but he would also let you interact with his bird of paradise (Cendrawasih bird).

The cute side of him when he is getting shy after he receives little kisses for you as he smiles goofily. Would look at the ground and then try to hide his red face.

He would also brag to Every ASEAN country about you, especially to Malaysia about him having a loving, cute and caring S/O. Also, even bragging about your achievement.

Just like India, he can be argumentative but India is still able to be polite about it or just plain Passive Aggressive. Whereas Indonesia would call out your every mistake and maybe even raise his voice.

Also, Indonesia can be even more stubborn than Indoa. If India is still able to forgive you when he is angry. Indonesia would give you silent treatment and sometimes does not even want to admit he is wrong.

As the dull movie played on in the background, (Y/N) was jolted from the reverie by the distant rumble of a motorcycle engine. The sound grew louder, causing (Y/N) curiosity to pique. You instinctively got up from the couch, moving towards the window to investigate. Pulling the curtain aside, your eyes widened in surprise.

There, parked on the street, was (Y/N)'s boyfriend Wibawa Prayogo, sitting confidently on a sleek motorcycle that he always rides around the city. A smile broke across (Y/N)'s face as you took in the sight of Wibawa's helmeted head, his eyes hidden but the joy evident in the curve of his lips. "Baby!! I'm here, let's go out together and have some Fried Rice with Chicken Skewers! I know a great place that sells Fried Rice!" He shouted.

With a rush of excitement, (Y/N) wasted no time in stepping outside, the cool breeze hitting their/her/his face as they eagerly approached the waiting motorcycle. Wibawa's warm smile greeted you, and without hesitation, (Y/N) carefully mounted the motorcycle behind him, ensuring him with the grip.

Wibawa turned towards you, a grin hidden beneath his helmet as he handed over an extra helmet. (Y/N) accepted it with gratitude, securing it in place before giving Wibawa a reassuring nod. The motorcycle roared to life once he press his feet on the pedal, the engine vibrating beneath them and the tire starts to move once the engine starts.

As the wind rushed past them and the world blurred in their peripheral vision, (Y/N)'s heart swelled with happiness. You recalled the numerous times the two of you had ventured out together, exploring new culinary delights, savouring exotic flavours, and discovering hidden gems in the city's culinary scene.

After arriving at the festival of the Independence Day night markets. Amid the festive atmosphere of the Indonesia Independence Day celebration, Wibawa and (Y/N) found themselves immersed in a vibrant sea of colours, lights, and laughter. The night market was alive with energy.

(Y/N) couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude for Wibawa's thoughtfulness in bringing them/her/him to the festival. With a tender smile, you leaned into his face to press a gentle kiss on his cheeks. "Happy Independence Day, Wibawa. Also, thank you for bringing me to this place," you whispered to his ears.
