Idk if you saw on yt "2021 Hybe briefing with the community" but, from 9:00 to about 13:33 they talked what will webtoons and web novels be about. And I was wondering whose story you find the most interesting ?

To me, it's Txt's (myb cause I follow the U+ theories and all idk)

And for some reason I kinda feel anxious about it all 😅

Okay so I agree, TXT’s is the most interesting to me! I love how the writers want to keep the members as idols, but give them powers that they have to learn to live with in a half human/half fantastical world.

By the way, I enjoyed the short film animation when it came out, so I’m hopeful for this webtoon ❤️

hey i am glad the anons are back on, and i know it might sound selfish because you deserve peace time too, so sry but i am really glad they are back on... anyways , can you tell where to find the snippet of zeha checking haru's wound? is it part of the web novel or something, also 2nd ques. what is teh web novel and where to find it? if you know pls tell.... bc i thought wattpad is dead bc. well it kinda sucked to put it lightly... so i am surpised that they would collab? with that ....

It is on Wattpad in the Pay Coins To Read Ahead On Premium section. I KNOW. And I think we all agree that WHY WATTPAD ARE THEY NOT AWARE...

They are aware, anon. They KNOW. They have straight up told us they read fanfic and they can write it better and less smutty but still sexy and plus TIGERS and God-Jimin as canon and Big Kitty Koo also as canon and next thing you know someone is popping a knot and some very weird sexual chemistry is gonna Jikook at us I feel like it's only a matter of time.

I was one time gonna write a little fic and I went looking and HOLY CATS AND BEOM TIGERS. A03 gets pretty wild, ngl, I have limits okay. But Wattpad is... wow. It's, um... I think I already called it a cesspool today but given that Hybe is probably about to own it I may have to rethink that. Or still think it but ignore my conscience because content.

There are a few fanfiction writers who I read because they are excellent and certainly not at all because of any homoerotic smut ft. DaintyKoo x Much Bigger And More Dominating Than Expected Jimin or anything like that. Because that's sexualization and it's just gross right, none of us would ever, of course. And Koo NEVER cries because he's been waiting for YEARS to do That Thing Jimin Would Never Do during their Platonic Bandmates To Lovers story arc.

But I digress. ANYHOO YES. It is on Wattpad and I guess in order to read ahead you have to use coins. It is also on the Webtoon app which is what I am using currently and again, you can spend coins to get to Episode 2 early.

I guess it makes sense from a financial standpoint, honestly, and from a creative one. If BTS is gonna star in someone's sex fantasy then they ought to get a say in the narrative, I think. And by putting out their own content, whether it's paid or not, they are creatively controlling their images at least a little bit. Up to now the fanfic element has been left as fandom's dirty little not very secret. I suspect that all seven members have read some VERY interesting stuff.

See, hard stans pay the bills in any fandom but particularly in BTS. Because, and I say this very honestly, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SOFT BTS STAN. It is a mythical creation that some of us hide behind and feel good about because we don't like the idea of finding people so sexually attractive that we picture them doing fun things with no clothes on BECAUSE WHAT DOES THAT MAKE US THEN? But BTS knows. They KNOW we're all liars. They are human adult people who even as teenagers read fanfiction (and in Yoongi's case admits to writing super gay fanfic and I bet it was not soft in any way). These guys aren't stupid. And they know that even soft, non-explicit fiction can still be highly evocative and very provocative and they are playing us like two cellos and a violin and maybe a skin flute idek anymore.

We are getting exactly what we deserve. And more than that, I think we're gonna get a great story with good art and fun action and apparently some very entertaining dialogue. I'm here for it. Might even throw y'all a piece of my own work later today. (It'll be soft though. Some of us do sorta kinda exist).

Hey how you're doing

Just here to talk about how weirded out I'm by Hybe. They're now on wattpad.

And they're doing a new story on bts but like what about the original BU. I mean they stopped run bts for what a franchise. I love BU I mean it was like 1/10th the reason of being army but it feels like they're trying to tale over what is essentially the fanculture writing ffs about your favourite to discover them. The best fan stories are the ones based on their favourite personality but that's besides the point.

Also now they're doing virtual photocards but that will according to comments in YouTube basically increase carbon footprint. Opposite of what bts talked about at unga.

And the new storyline will probably collab with other new artists which i feel basically means they're going to have us buy merch of others to get on material to the storyline or whatnot. Basically ride on bts. Which is unfair on the other artists who on a daily basis get compared to bts .

Not that we can do much. What do you think?

ok, let's break this down haha

Wattpad: Kinda weird, but I'm not too worried about it. Not super surprised by it, as they've always been moving with storylines. With Webtoon and Wattpad being so connected (and their story on Wattpad being quite successful as the boys have gained traction), it's a little disappointing that they're not sticking with the orginal BU but I don't know enough about the new storyline to have much of an opinion on if the change was good or bad. However, they've been dabbling in the world of ff for years I feel like, so I don't have too much of an opinion on this.

Virtual photocards/NFTs: not a fan of the idea, personally. It's ironic, all things considered, with the carbon footprint. I'm interested to see how they respond to it. I don't think I'll really even interact with all that anyways because I feel like physical photocards actually...meant something? I can download a million pictures of the boys to save to my camera roll, whereas a physical photocard that came with an album or something meant something more to me. Hybe has definitely been taking measures to grow, they're bound to do some things that don't make sense, I feel like this is one of them lol.

And lastly, as for collabing with other artists on the storyline, I think this is a double edged sword. Like you said, it might kinda suck for those other artists because they might become popular by association. But on the other hand, it could really open up a lot of opportunities. Like, I got into k-pop because of BTS, and they in turn opened the door to me falling in love with the likes of Han Jisung and Solar and Taemin and IU and countless others that are amazing and deserve all the world, but I wouldn't have really given them a chance had I not had BTS to open the door to that world. Now, I don't associate them with BTS. Like, Taemin's hips deserve their own soundtrack, and that has literally nothing to do with BTS. So I can see both sides of this issue, because it also reminds me that when Monsta X was so excited to be the first kpop group playing Madison Square Garden (WHICH IS AMAZING AND STAN THEM THEY'RE SO COOL) and the interviewer found a way to drag BTS into the interview rather than building off of their amazing feat.

So yeah. Mixed emotions, good and bad. Hopefully the good outweighs the bad!

speaking of I-land ,, audition boys debut this year as big hits first japanese boy group !! taki was my fav so im really happy to see him placed in a group , and they should he at the hybe building so lets hope we get enhypen x audition boys interactions
