Starting my week with @laneige_us products. #Laneigegiftedme their Fresh Calming Toner and Fresh Calming Mousse Moisturizer. 🌸 The Fresh Calming Toner promises to bring you a refreshing and soothing feel on the skin. It's all thanks to it's key main ingredients which are Lychee and Deep Sea Water. 🌸 The Fresh Calming Mouse Moisturizer promises to give you a hydrating and calming effect on the skin. Like their toner, Lychee and Deep Sea Water are the key ingredients in this product. 🌸 I really love the packaging of these two. I think the color and the design of the bottles are so beautiful and they both have a light scent of lychee which I really enjoy. The Toner is so light and gentle on my sensitive skin and I do find it refreshing and soothing. The Mousse Moisturizer is definitely something new to me. I have not tried anything like this before. The texture makes me think of a cloud. It's so light and it gets absorbed quickly once you spread it on your skin. I have a combination skin type and I feel like this is too light for the cold season. Yes it does hydrate but not enough with the kind of weather that we are having right now. However, I really enjoy it's texture and I find it so fun to use. As a longtime #kbeauty fan, and @laneige_us Sleeping Mask addict, you can imagine how excited I was when #Laneigegiftedme their Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer! Since moving to a dryer climate hydrating toners have become a staple in my routine and I’d heard great things about this one in particular. - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer is a 2-in-1 formula that preps and softens like a toner and moisturizes like a cream for maximum hydration benefits in one simple step. The standout ingredient in this formula is White Leaf Tea Water, the leaves of which are harvested once a year and grown in the shade, meaning more amino acids to strengthen the skin barrier, moisturize, and soothe skin. - To apply I cleanse, use my standard calming or exfoliating toner, then I use this more like an essence, pouring a few drops of product into hands and pressing gently into skin until absorbed. - While I did expect it to have more of a lotion-like consistency, this is more of a milky toner that manages to be both rich in moisture and lightweight. It does have a bit of slip to it but absorbs quickly into the skin for me and although I do still need to follow with a moisturizer I find it to be soothing and relieve that dry, tight feeling very quickly. My skin is extremely dry in the winter which I’m sure many of us are. I OD on hydration💧 and prepping my skin especially when I feel it looks dull. So here is one way I started to really hydrate and prep my skin before makeup: . @youthtothepeople superfood skin reset mask | it’s suppose to instantly balance and restore dull tired skin. I do see a difference when I use this mask. It feels so good on the skin! I love using a wet warm towel lay it on my face for a minute and then remove my clay masks. By doing this it opens your pores and makes it easier for the rest of the products to sink in. @keihls ultra facial cream. I like this because it’s a light weight moisturizer. I use it both day and night. @keihls Avocado Eye Cream. My new favorite! My dehydration lines under my eyes have been making me look old! 😩But this eye cream is so good before makeup it really minimizes the lines under the eyes and when you apply concealer it goes on much smoother. @laneige_us lip sleeping mask! I’m probably using this wrong but I basically wear this all day and use it as a lip balm. Ain’t nobody got time for chapped lips. 😜 @maccosmetics fix plus! I feel like I don’t even need to explain this but this is one product you should always have when you want that dewy natural radiant skin look even with full coverage foundation. multi-use. I spray my face with fix + through every step of my makeup routine.
