I’ve got to dedicate this #texturetuesday to Green Clean by @farmacybeauty . It came in clutch when my youngest, Benjamin, got into his sister’s arts & crafts gear, the main culprit being a fuchsia ink pad. <swipe for evidence> I swear the ink must have been semi-permanent because it would not come off with any products I tried -including soap and makeup wipes- until I pulled out the Green Clean. After a few swipes of this dreamy green meltaway balm, the ink wiped right off. The best part? No staining was left behind and Benjamin’s face was clean and baby smooth again! #texturetuesday with my decanted @kerastase_official goodies. Switched out my shampoo and conditioner a month ago when I realised I was starting to shed quite a lot of hair post dengue. Ain’t bald yet thankfully 🙃 but my hair is visibly thinner with scalp showing through in some areas. I chose to get the Dermo-Calm shampoo which is a cleansing and soothing shampoo for sensitive scalps and dry hair. It’s that magical mermaid blue with a metallic tint that is just so beautiful?! I decanted my Thérapiste treatment conditioner into a tub because of its thick texture. I didn’t want to have to fight with a bottle in the AM. It’s a very light texture compared to the hair mask, which is more a thick butter,and spreads throughout the hair thinly. Thing is it is meant to be used before shampooing and you can be sure that I’ve done it the wrong way some mornings. Have you used any Kerastase? It’s deathly expensive but I decided to go with it to give my scalp some extra care through the shedding. On sale for $15.96 on Amazon.. . 🌱+🔬My obsession w/ powder cleansers continues, as I’ve added this nature + science based Natural Face Wash, known to be a blackhead buster + pore minimizer. Great for all skin types, incl. sensitive, it’s a gentle, non-irritating exfoliator. I’ve been using daily the last few weeks in the a.m.. . 🌱+🔬 Providing a low acidic level, yet still incl. amino acids from Papaya Enzymes, along w/ Activated Bamboo Charcoal, makes way for a gentle, yet effective exfoliating experience. The black granules become a soft & creamy foam when activated w/ water & rubbed between hands. It rinses away most makeup, leaving skin very clean but not at all tight. Aloe ensures skin stays moist!.. . 🌱+🔬After using for several days, I started noticing a smoother appearance & brighter tone. Blackhead Buster??? I’m not sure I can speak to this, as I exfoliate often, using acids to maintain pore condition. But I definitely can’t tell that I get a gentle exfoliation from this cleanser.
