Bocchi the Rock Ch. 86 Review - A Wild Tiger Appears

New character in chapter 86! Hyouko reminds me a lot of Oozaru Subaru but mixed with a gyaru if that makes sense. But I like her a lot already, very much one of my types 🫶. Yet another quality waifu from Bocchi the Rock per usual.

Also, I am borderline enraged by how she considers Kuramori DYING to be betrayal. It’s one thing to sort of offhandedly be like, ‘Thanks a lot, asshole” but entirely another to ACTUALLY BELIEVE IT. Also, how is Hyouko getting his ass beat for you a betrayal? So far as I can tell no one has ever betrayed you but you. ANd maybe that’s the point the narrative is making, that Reki applies way way inappropriate things to behaviors that don’t warrant them, but fuck, man, I know that it’s going to have Reki get saved inthe end and I doubt it’s going to be because Rakka was finally like, “You know what, fine. I’m done having this talk. Enjoy hell.” 

Also, I know this is a me thing, and not a wider thing, but I actually do not care what is in your heart. Good or bad. I care about what you do. I don’t care if you sit there thinking nice, inclusive, great thoughts, if you sit on your ass and DO nothing, you’re no better a person than someone who thinks bad things but does nothing. What we do, the choices we make every day, makes us who we are. One fucking choice, a million good thoughts, none of these matter like our day to fucking day.

ok i got the joke and laughed but i think:

nagito would hate de drv3 cast because they definetly wouldnt figure out whatever nagito would have done among them and they would almost die (lets remember the first trial was only conclued because kaede gave herself away)

hajime actually tried to understand nagito so he would probably get what kokichi was trying to do while no one in the drv3 even tried (because trying to understand others is hajime’s canon characteristic)

kaede would, like nagito, try to get the traitor and probably fuck up like she already did because she acts before thinking

actually kaede and nagito are pretty similar except that kaede is sane and nagito is smarter (she isnt dumb he is just smartER)

hajime probably would not like kaito that much because he is a great person but he is too blinded by the whole friendship stuff even when people were already killed and hajime is a very realistic person

the dr2 cast is colder than the drv3 so kaede would have some difficult spreading her ideals SPECIALLY to save everyone at the end. hajime managed to turn the tables because he accepted that shit stuff happens and erveyone needs to deal with them because they will keep coming but you need to look for the better future and kaede is more the “look at the bright side, we cant give up”. she wouldnt be able to save everyone, because there was no bright side on being ultimate despair

It was overwhelming! I got to watch Season風 but this felt so different I knew the story but I still go excited
