Another day, another set of commissions given to be taken care of. Perhaps it was to be expected when most adventurers didn't particularly enjoy traveling to Dragonspine. Really it was a miracle that Gwynevere did at all. Another perk they supposed of what their vision had granted them.

For the most part it had been just any other day. A set of things needing to be done. Though, what started that way seemed to change quickly when he noticed the stranger in his path. Shifting to adjust his cloak, he'd head closer, head tilted slightly.

"Excuse me-? Are you alright over there? Dragonspine really isn't the best place to just wander around on."

With a mirthful smile, Kaeya regarded her stance and determination, having summoned his Aquila Favonia and kept it lowered by his side. A soft hum escaped him as he looked her over before he furrowed his brows a tad in deep thought. His smile left him.

He took in the sight of her and soon realized how thin she is; emaciated, even, as far as he could tell. Kaeya's eye didn't skim over her for too long, only enough to gain some key details about her. Details he didn't like. She had a youthful appearance despite everything else, which only seemed to upset him further.

He didn't let it show, instead he let out a slow breath through his nose, his smile quickly returning. It only appeared as though his smile was gone for a second. On goes his mask once more. He attempted to make his renewed smile warm and non-threatening, hoping to assure her that she didn't need her bravery in this moment. Of course, this was after dematerializing his sword. "... Perhaps we got off on the wrong foot," he stated, his eye still sharp despite trying to make himself someone she could lower her guard with. 

"There is no need for an altercation. I'm certain we can discuss things civilly without any need of hurting one another." During said discussion, Kaeya plans to try and use his smooth-talking talents on this opportunity to truly determine if this young lady would be a threat or not. In the back of his mind, he recalled another young girl with green hair, his chest tightening just a little at the memory.

It's been some time since he visited Mondstadt, much too busy running his restaurants and teaching culinary classes to travel quite that far. Thanks to his absence, the small townhome he owns has acquired a layer of dust, the cabinets empty. Leo had spent the day doing chores, planning to stick around for at least a week or two in order to gather more ingredients and enjoy his home country.

Imagine his surprise when a small girl offers him a basket of flowers, her hair and eyes nearly the same color as his own. She was tiny, almost frail-looking and he can't help that little pang of sympathy. Still... the half-dragon sensed something off about her -- her scent wasn't quite normal like other humans.

A toothy grin settles on handsome features and Leo gently accepts the floral arrangement, golden eye glimmering brightly in the midday sun.

Look, until Alhaitham was introduced to us in the Sumeru Archon quest, I had never felt so seen and relatable with a fictional character. The way he behaved, the way he thought, and the way he lived his life. Everything he did and said, while the other characters were getting frustrated or scratching their heads, I was like, "Yeah, I get ya man."

And then one day, as I was looking back on some recent things that came to a close in my life, I realized:

"Forced into a position of authority in my organization during a time of crisis. Couldn't wait to foster the responsibility off so I could go back to my regular job. Still got to keep the pay raise."

Week 1

I’ve been running all compounds for Project Hyperbloom for a little over a week now. Weight is going up like crazy, it’s piling on faster than I anticipated, I was 243lbs this morning fasted, 21lbs up from April! So this actually exceeds expectations by 5-10lbs, reference projection chart included. I’m on insulin and GHRP-6 3x daily, and pioglitazone and telmisartan once daily. I’ll do a post delving more into the science behind this at some point

Incredibly excited to see how things progress the next 11 weeks. I will be increasing GHRP-6 dose to try producing more hunger, so feeders hmu 🐷

Musings on Cyno/Alhaitham/Candace + language

Candace tells Cyno he sounds like a textbook when he speaks in the desert tongue. More identifiably rainforest than passing merchants or even some scholars. Cyno confides that Cyrus never told him from where in the Sands he's even from; no tribe to seek out, no dialect to learn from, no folktales or traditions to even remember.

Candace starts helping him learn the Aaru dialect since. "Lending" it to him. Maybe Aaru Village wasn't the home he was born in, but she made sure it was the second home he was always welcome in.

Cyno taught Alhaitham simple Matra code when he was Acting Grand Sage. "Status check", "ok", and so on, in case of emergencies. Alhaitham first uses this in the Grand Sage office after a long day; stress had stolen from him speech and sign and writing, leaving behind weak taps and scratches of "escape needed".

Cyno starts asking "status check" more often since. Still in code. Even after he returned to being Scribe, even during meet ups with friends, an escape to silence can still be necessary.

Alhaitham asks Candace why she writes to him in Vedanagari script in personal letters. Her calligraphy is more stilted compared to her writing in Deshret script. Candace admits she craved a connection her father who was an Akademiya scholar; she couldn't spend much time with him growing up due to her Guardian training.

Alhaitham starts writing more letters to her since. Longer letters. About the Akademiya, calligraphy, and maybe someone who knows what it's like to seek your parents through written word.

ran the theater yesterday and this killed me dead lmao. This was in a theater with my built Alhaitham, Wrio, Ganyu... This isn't even the hardest I've seen him hit and it's not a nuke. It's just one of his burst's spirit veins and he shoots off 12+ of these suckers in twenty seconds, which is on top of all of the gossamer sprites, gossamer splices, and normal attacks helppp

I really am not lying when I say he's the strongest DPS on my account 😭 he's too powerful what have I done.

i refuse to get back into genshin but i do kinda miss the days when me and my brother would run domains trying to get good artifacts for his ganyu that he never used and both of our builds were absolute ass so it took way too long and we would rage quit and waste so much resin and it got so bad we started using our primogems on resin because we ran out but when we got a good artifact it was lie jesus himself came down from the heavens and we would celebrate by going to 711 😭

A brow had raised itself upon the sight of the person before him, his wisteria eye narrowing just a tad. They appeared to be covered in blood, and for anyone, the sight is a major concern! At least, it should be; and yet here Kaeya was, observing them with nary a shred of worry, fear, or anything of the sort. In fact, he seemed to be fascinated, if the little glint in his eye was any indication. 

"Well, I'm certainly relieved to hear that," he started, the corners of his lips twitching upward briefly.

He had been walking the roads near Springvale on patrol before coming across the scene. The ruins of a hilichurl camp laid wasted behind her, wooden structures seemingly struck by lightning as the feeling of static remained heavy in the air. In the middle of it all stood a lone person, their clothes splotched and splattered with red.

With a sigh, he kept his distance yet offered her a kind smile, nothing about his gaze or stance being discriminatory towards them. "A shame we can't say the same about the former inhabitants of the camp, hm? Still, are you injured in any way, or do you have a change of clothes? The vision of someone drenched in red wouldn't do much to keep a passerby's heart settled, you know."
