hey-ho   !   are   you   a   fan   of   them   original   characters   ?   can’t   get   enough   of   sassy,   well-dressed   bastards,   with   impeccable   taste   in   music   to   boot   ?   well,   meet   ARLO,   coincidentally   the   god   of   sound.   i’m   sure   he’ll   be   delighted   to   meet   you,   too.   sort   of.    (   independent   god   oc,   mainly   for   genshin   impact,   written   by   blue   !  about. )

The man smiled at the Traveller, thankful that he was alright after the sudden push. Inmediately, he forced a shield around them as he saw the geovishap come after them once again. 

“Ahh, I apologize, it’s a bad habit of mine.” He responded, standing up and making sure the other was fine to continue with the fight. “I will be fine, it wasn’t a deep wound.” 

Well, it seemed to be alright so far, but his vision had started to feel blurry on his right eye, making his movements slightly awkward at first as he tried to keep his composure but losing balance easily.    

Once the fight was done, he stuck his lance on the floor and leaned on it, shaking his head. Ah. Maybe he shouldn’t have put himself in such danger. His human vessel had its weaknesses. 

      it came as no surprise that aether paid closer attention to zhongli throughout the remaining fight; the excuse that it was a mere habit went over his head, and while something of a lecture lingered in the back of his throat, he knew he had no business telling a god how to conduct themselves.

      as the fighting concluded, the traveller moved to the other’s side, a hand gently sitting on his back, ready to do what he could to steady him just a little more, lest he would find the polearm to be a lackluster means of keeping himself up.        his head craned, to try and get a better look at the wound, and he squinted gently when he seemed to pinpoint the source. ❝ you hit your head, right ? ❞ silly question-- he could see as much. ❝ will you be alright ? we should make for liyue harbour again, if you’re seriously injured. ❞

     the  compliment  caused   a  flushed  warmth  to  spread  over  the  maid’s  cheeks ,  tinting  them  a  deep  red .    placing  the  cup  to  the  side ,  noelle  attempted  to  cool  her  face  with  the  cool  gauntlets  over  her  hands .    it  hardly  worked ,  but  it  was  worth  the  effort .

                    ❝  i - !    honourary  knight —  i  don’t  know  what  to  say ,  it’s  such  an  honour  to  hear  that  from  you !    but –  hardly  me  alone  is  to  thank  for  mondstadt’s  safety !    amber ,  jean ,  and  all  the  other  knights  are  to  thank  for  the  majority  of  it  all –  ❞

      it had him snicker, wholly endeared and rather glad, as usual, to go the extra mile and offer a little more affection towards one of his friends. he sipped at his coffee, and grinned into the mug for a moment before offering a soft shake of his head.         ❝ you’ve played your part, ❞ he argued. ❝ things wouldn’t be the same if any of them hadn’t helped as much as they did, and it applies to you, too ! they work so well because you take much off their shoulders. ❞

|| It was difficult to startle Albedo, but it could happen. When Aether came tumbling into him, he went rigid, unsure of how to respond since he’d been so deep in his thoughts he hadn’t even noticed that the other was coming right for him.

Blinking in confusion, he finally pieced together what had happened and put a hand onto Aether as if to steady him. “No worries, friend. Although, if I had been in the middle of some experiment, you very well could have caused us to tumble off the mountain.” He only said that as a little bit of a tease.

“I’m surprised you ventured out here today. The weather has been growing worse here.” ||

      he had not seen albedo startled, either, but was glad that he hadn’t startled him much when he did. for the most part, he HAD dreaded to have interrupted some more important experiment, or one of the more dangerous variety.        once he stood solidly again, he retained a sheepish grin towards the other, and wafted at paimon when she tried to tease him about his slip-up. ❝ i noticed-- i’m still surprised you deal so well witht he cold, it’s a bit rough for even me, at times, ❞ he admitted. ❝ i thought you’d appreciate a visit. have you been busy much ? ❞
