Hades 1 vs Hades 2 Designs

● Hermes besides Hypnos was first character that made me think when i saw him oh some time has passed since Zag's escapes indeed, makes you feel that time skip. In this particular debate between those i'm really digging both but if needed to say which i prefer would go with second. I feel it should be said he sure rolls nicely with longer hair i would say darker outfit too but that's probably because pallet that's used for levels.

Ps. I saw post that mentioned how his ring is the same as ones Charon is wearing in first game and if it's a hint at something i'm here for it!

● Zeus for this god specifically there is discourse about how his pose is less dynamic and oh boy if i don't agree with that so much. In first game you see him and his look makes you think yeah this is the king of gods while in second game man is just there with posture i take often because i'm useless gay that don't know what to do with my hands and feels like they took all this might and put it into chiseling his nipples & abs into his golden chestplate. Not to mention the detail of missing the iconic bolt! Don't think it needs to be said but 100% would pick Hades 1 design out of those options.

● Poseidon the King of the Sea another example in my humble opinion where they went with flattening that dynamic looks exchanging it for man that just standing there chilling which is good for him but where first screams cool uncle second one goes uncle that wants retirement. I really like how we can see the trident now tho and need to point out his outfit sure got more print on it. When it comes down to pointing out which one is the winner in my eyes it would be 2020 one.

● Aphrodite if she wasn't the one that got thrown into drama because people double standards and hypocrisy. Design from first game and the pose straight up makes you think of love, lust, seduction all the things that are associated with said goddess. As for Hades 2 version i have no clue why it feels like this considering it's actually the opposite because we can see armor on her legs now but she feels less covered for me, do i find it negative or in any way problematic? Not one bit let the woman show off all her assets all day long! Really love the adds of her weapon and shield makes you immerse in the store of oh fights are happening around these parts. From seduction to i stand here at the ready kinda vibe and i'm really digging it.

Ps. Another post i read was about fact that her war paint i will call it (not 100% sure if that is it or just line for the giggles) is reference to Ares and considering her myth i really like that touch!

● Hypnos was the first OG i saw and was like man not only catching up on his sleep but also got such glow up i absolutely adore the design. Not to say he looked bad in Hades 1 but there it was like okay nice to Hades 2 like Damnnn and his lil helpers that keeps him up! Love the fact that of all things they made him be tucked into his cape like burrito.

Ps. I really do hope by the end of the game we get to wake him up so he can try out that nectar that we all leave there waiting.

● Chaos so many things to say and at the same time silence says it all. Seen people focusing on fact some out there call them he or how it's a downgrade from previous but don't even elaborate why they think that because everyone has right to have their own preference but at least put it into words instead of going trash next..there was also notion how they resemble Meg and while i see where people get that idea from for sure before reading that my mind didn't went there at all. I think both designs really work with someone who is primordial originator and how time goes so can their form. I find it very fascinating that they put old skeleton with new one and adore galaxy under suit makes me think of Nyx right away and how they're connected. Can totally see how between those two gamers got major stance that left reminds them more of male and right of female beings but at the end of the it chaos is chaos. Gotta take chair routine from Meg while they at it! The face on the shoulder surely throws me in loop tho fits? Sure. Does it disturb me in micro scale? Yes. About frames and poses don't have much to say cause both caption the essence of i mind my business everything unrelevant until i say so.

Ps. I know it's about physical aspect but let me say Chaos roasting Mel about how her brother is amusing one out of two Hades spawns is living rent free in my brain.

I was inspired to do my own pinata assignments for some of my f/os after seeing @bugsband do so! I fell in love with VP as a little kid when I could only play the original demo version of it on the Xbox 360 arcade disc and it only grew when I finally got an actual copy of the game as a gift. A few years ago I bought my own xbox and got copies of both the original AND trouble in paradise for myself and while I def don’t play it as much as I want to, it’s still a favorite of mine 💛

Some of these are definitely based just on Vibes than anything else so some might not be as accurate lol but this was still fun. Under the cut because I typed too much-

This section I did first because they definitely seem the most accurate and understandable lol maybe kinda on the nose for some but that’s what makes it fun!

Present Mic and Aizawa are pretty self explanatory, especially if you compare the candary to how Mic looks in the flashbacks to when they were in High School lol. Aizawa probably wishes he was a kittyfloss but the crowla was calling his name. The crowla’s ability to distract Dastardos and save your piñatas from him temporarily feels fitting too. 

Roman being a pretztail is also self explanatory, the pretztail is well known for being sneaky and crafty and those are two things Roman does very well as a thief. 

Hypnos is a goobaa because. Sheep. Counting sheep. Yeah? Not to mention “the Goobaa is famous for its accommodating nature and dreams of world peace”.

Lysandre is literally lion themed. He has a lion. He is a lion. Thus, Roario. Not much more explanation needed.

Kiryu is the Dragon of Dojima. He is also a pain in the ass. Leaving it at that.

This section is a little less on the nose, but I still like the assignments anyways! Prismo was a toughie because I really wanted to assign him a pink pinata but I didn’t think many of them actually fit, except for maybe the pink flutterscotch.

Prismo (Adventure Time) - Parrybo or Pink Flutterscotch

Mordin is a sweetle because they look similar 🥰 I also really wanted to include him since I was including Nihlus. Fun fact: I have personal beef with sweetles. The tutorial stuff drives me insane and I hate having to catch one. Same thing with the bispotti. Fuck those guys.

Nihlus obviously matches the sour s’morepion in terms of aesthetics, the hard plating of the scorpion and the deep red color, but Nihlus also kinda sucks (Which I say with as much love as I can physically give). These two belong together.

Prismo doesn’t actually really match the parrybo much but idk. There’s just something about that little dude that calls out to me. Pink Flutterscotch might be a better match because it’s pink and Prismo also makes me think of kisses. Anyways who said that-

Langston is obvious for obvious reasons, yeah. But I put tigermisu instead of a kittyfloss for Petula because gdi that poor girl deserves some respect and by god is she going to get it!!! She’s not a kitten, she’s a big ass cat.

an EXCELLENT question thank you anon!! this is the only kind of disc horse i will allow on my account (that and breakfast chat).

1. piss. kink of all time, loml, cannot get enough of it. the one thing guaranteed to get me off within about 10 seconds. there’s a lot of sub-kinks within piss and not all of them are equal so if we are getting granular about it then specifically clothes/soft furnishings wetting is my kryptonite (shoutout to the inventors of the sheets of san francisco waterproof bedsheets). interestingly this has a lot of crossover with wet and messy fetishism (clothes ruining in particular) but the usual suspects for that — especially food and anything sticky — do nothing for me. weird!

2. CNC. again there’s a lot of sub-types of this particular kink and my particular flavour is kidnap kink (my recent landoscar fic is heavily drawn from my own beloved CNC scenes), and i also love somno (and associated stuff like drugged/hypno sex in fic) and free use.

3. S&M/pain. i love pain. i love strong sensory input, i love the headspace it puts me into, i love the feeling of having to battle through an impact scene and feeling high as a kite afterwards. mostly this manifests as impact play for me, but i love sharps play too and i’d like to do more of it. i lean far more to the masochism side of the S&M spectrum but i do have a sadist/top streak that i don’t get to indulge much currently other than in fic.

4. degradation. this is kind of wrapped up in a lot of the others but it’s enough of a kink to warrant including on its own. even if i’m just having a quickie i don’t really find it enjoyable unless there’s some sort of aspect of degradation. especially love bodily fluid related stuff (piss obv, spit, come, whatever) but i am a very broad church where this one is concerned.

5. exhibitionism. if we’re talking porn/fic then this veers into stuff like public sex, dogging, flashing etc but in practice i am petrified of involving anyone non-consensually and/or getting arrested for indecent exposure so i haven’t done much to indulge it irl, apart from at sex parties and kink events which i looove.

Reactions As I Read: ● “dudes”! my earliest coming across this word. 1975 ● I just love that one of DD’s gimmicks is to just bean someone in the face with his club. I wish they showed it happening more!

Synopsis: Daredevil is swinging through New York City when he spots two costumed crooks trying to rob an armored car. As he easily knocks the crooks out and leaves the scene for the police to collect the criminals, he is unaware that the entire battle has been filmed. The film is taken to the Ringmaster, the leader of the Circus of Crime, who believes that Daredevil will be a threat to his plans to rob all of New York City. With his new agent, Blackwing he gathers the Circus of Crime and orders them to go out and eliminate Daredevil once and for all.

The Man Without Fear meanwhile has returned to the District Attorney's office and changed back into his civilian guise of Matt Murdock. Meeting with Foggy Nelson, he finds his friend has become slightly embittered over the fact that for all the thanks he's gotten for being the D.A. for New York City is to get shot by some crook. Their conversation is cut short when they are attacked by Princess Python and the Great Gambonnos, who saw Daredevil enter the building.

During the scuffle, Matt slips away and changes into Daredevil and fights off the attackers. During the fight, he is bound by Princess Python's snake. In order to free himself, Daredevil is forced to push the snake's head onto Princess Python's electro-prod, killing the snake instantly. Not wanting to be caught with Daredevil at that moment, the three crooks make a break for it. As Foggy enters the room Matt has quickly changed back into his civilian guise. Foggy then goes over some notes about the Circus of Crime, and how he is suspicious of the fact that they have been acting almost too straight since their release and the addition of their new member of Blackwing. When Foggy mentions that they will be making a televised appearance at Shae Stadium, Matt rushes off as Daredevil before Foggy even notices that Matt has left the room.

As the Man Without Fear rushes to the stadium, the Ringmaster initiates his plans: Hypnotizing everyone in the stadium and watching from home, Blackwing sends out his trained bats across the city to steal from those who have been effected by the Ringmaster's hypno-disc. Daredevil arrives shortly after and makes short work of the Circus of Crime, easily smashing their operation. When it's all over, the police come to collect the Ringmaster, and Daredevil realizes that Blackwing is missing among the group. With the Circus of Crime in police custody, Daredevil leaves them to return the stolen money to it's rightful owners.

New Constellations: Live in Vienna, which features the vibrant ensemble of old and new friends called the Constellations, brings the half-Jamaican musician closer to home, exploring the intensely rhythmic legacy of one of his heroes, trombonist Don Drummond, who is credited as one of the founding fathers of ska. Roseman creates fresh interpretations of two of the legend's actual compositions: the hard-driving and booming hypno-funky "Thoroughfare" and the throbbing, thumping club-friendly "Confucious," which features as much crazy honking sax as 'bone. Most of the disc finds Roseman creating his own heavy-groove jazz-meets-house-meets-ska and industrial-funk compositions in Drummond's image.
