#i actually dont want starscream to be a good guy at all

Why do you like Skybound? From the little I’ve seen on tumblr, it looks like it’s made Starscream into a heartless, ruthless villain with no emotions and that doesn’t sound like something a Starscream fan would enjoy.

The thing about it is that, I like it because it is Starscream. Starscream is ruthless, he is heartless and he is a villain. Especially to humans. The only thing I don’t really like about Skybound is that, for two seconds, I was terrified he was killed off early but people are saying he might be alive?

I think the interesting thing about Starscream, depending on the iteration or what version of the character you absorb, is that he can be multifaceted. I think that the two Starscream’s we have now are Earthspark and Skybound Starscream. It’s fair to say that Earthspark Starscream is handled with a lot of nuance and respect for what happened to him, which is what I absolutely love and adore. But Starscream is still, at his core, before any form or redemption can ever take place, and awful person. Even Earthspark Starscream was not a good person until the episode dropped.

Skybound Starscream to me at least, isn’t that shocking because that shows us one of the many facets of Starscream he can be. I think that, given the various iterations we’ve had of him, and the franchises lack of actually committing to a type of Starscream, it is easy to mix those versions + fandom interpretation (which imo , does tend to water him down and overly pacify him for many reasons), and in a way, think they should be canon.

But in reality, despite the iterations, Starscream is not supposed to be viewed as a good person. At least, not to begin with. Starscream has always been an extremely violent, ruthless, manipulative and abusive person. Even in Earthspark, or TFP, or Cyberverse, etc. He has always resorted to violence to get what he wants. He mistreats those around him, and those who try to help him whether it be his Trine, Knockout, etc. That’s why I don’t think that Skybound is inaccurate because that’s just who he is. I think as Starscream fans, it’s logical to want a version of Starscream that is nuance and more complex because we have gotten that in the past, even among the violence. And I mean, other characters are allowed to have that.

But I’m also okay accepting that Skybound isn’t that version, and that Skybound is also very canon, and often times forgotten version of Starscream that I think the fanbase sometimes needs to be reminded of. I’ve spoken about this before, but while I am heavily empathetic toward Starscream, especially in like TFP and Earthspark (and IDW), he is still an awful person, and he actually has to change to get sympathy points. And what Skybound is doing is in a way, reminding us of that or leaning into that side of Starscream that is either overlooked by the fandom, or a side we haven’t seen in years.

I am literally all for crazed, violent characters like Starscream, and I do like it. Because I also think that, with all the discourse surrounding his character, it is important to recognize that he isn’t this helpless person who has done no wrong. He is still, at his core until he changes, a violent person. And it is satisfying seeing him be violent but also seeing him be held accountable for it.

Skybound Starscream, like all depictions of him, is realistic. I just don’t think we get the nuance or the sympathetic nature of him, which again is okay. That’s not to say that in the future, we don’t see it. Because I believe we will.  

I am very curious to see how his relationship with Megatron is going to be, and in my mind I hope they have a good/better relationship but I hope they're good to each other, or at least can work together. I really don't want any of them to be redeemed I just want them to be terrible actually and just feed off of that.

im begging and pleading for knock out to be in earthspark so i have more koss fuel. for me the ideal dynamic would be 'knock out is uncle starscream's scary ass friend who isnt allowed around the terrans without supervision' lmfao

like. listen ive never been a fan of knock out being anything resembling a very good single parent in wildbreak aus bc by god i dont think he'd cope at all with that. he just really doesn't know what to do with kids. like what's he supposed to talk to them about? knock outs the guy who starts talking to a 5 yr old about taxes. bumblebee does not particularly trust him and imo unlike tfp beebs who i think becomes ko's strange little inter-generational racing buddy, cranky old earthspark bee thinks knock out similar to swindle and. probably rightfully so. also breakdown's ex? why not. that's funny. breakdown and ko are totally chill. bumblebee is not.

earthspark ko in my head would be a deserter whose been hanging out on earth doing his own thing and he's not been afraid to slice and dice some unlucky mechs for energon to he can keep surviving. he would NOT subject himself to underground fights. little respect for big m or big o, wants very much so to return to cybertron.

since starscream has his own actual emotional support group this time i feel like inversely from tfp, starscream's moooore emotionally available and obviously pining, they probably have ~history~ but knock out got sick and tired of starscream's constant back and forthing on top of the little mini tyrant act so knock out is NOT interested but likes to hang around his old bitching buddy and can be tempted to help out with injuries if starscream can get him some niceties...

(fanfic concept that lives in my head is GHOST has been keeping a bunch of cybertronian stuff since imprisoning so many of them and opens the door to allow mechs to get their stuff back but starscream keeps stealing like. high grade and chamois cloths and wax and crap like that to woo knock out with lol)

ok so i think that making starscream the villain was a Good Call.

lots of ppl were disappointed that starscream was the villain this season after he was the sympathetic one last season and i do see where they're coming from but i also see what the showrunners were going for. hes doing this because he doesnt have anywhere else to go. he isn't welcome on earth. he's only ever been attacked or locked up by humans, never made to feel like he could have an actual home coexisting with them. he only wants to carve out a place for himself where he can live without being attacked, but in his mind, that means he has to kill everyone in order to get that. it makes sense to me why he would do all that considering who he is and what he's experienced. i think they kind of rushed that too though because its definitely like... ppl with worse media literacy are just gonna be like "they threw out all his character development!" no they didnt. they just sort of paced it weird

most of the shit i was praising in season 1 (the autobots (unwittingly) being the bad guys, and the decepticons actually (mostly) being the sympathetic ones, explores the issues of oppression via incarceration) kind of got almost entirely thrown aside. starscream talks about oppression a couple times but they dont dig into the meat of it. they needed to get more into the specifics of that in order for it to be done well, but that's just because it's clumsy writing, not because the idea is inherently bad.

i know ppl are mad as hell about it though because season 1 earthspark starscream got woobified to the ends of the universe simply for having ptsd. i just think the message theyre going for is something about the cycle of abuse and how having trauma doesnt absolve you of wrongdoing but again, the pacing makes it feel awkward. like hashtag literally says something like "why would you do this to people after what was done to you" THEY ARE ACKNOWLEDGING IT. THEY AREN'T IGNORING IT. IT'S A CYCLE OF ABUSE STORY. theyre not doing "megatron was right actually" theyre doing "starscream needs more consistent help still"

i still think hes going to be better by the end also they literally made his eyes blue and everything. it's just that it TAKES MORE THAN ONE CONVERSATION AND A HUG TO MAKE SOMEONE TURN THEIR LIFE AROUND

Which tf character is your favorite in terms of personality?

Well obviously there's my man Store Bought Ice Cream. He varies so much across every continuity and yet I love each and every one of them. From devious scheming gremlin to noble warrior who needs a hug to fucked up guy who commits various atrocities. The bot's got range! He is such star much screaming <3

Bayverse Crosshairs is also fun. While I do like bayverse to an extent, it is a very immense compliment to say a character has a definitive personality in that universe lmaoo. But yeah Crosshairs there is so fun, I love his morally dubious nature and constantly having to be kept an eye on. Not to mention he's just an overall badass. Him, Hound, and Drift almost tricked me into rewatching TLK ahjsdk

Beast Wars and Armada Megatron are also very very fun! Yesss, their suaveness is so funny and I love how simultaneously badass and hilarious they can be. Beast Wars Megan is so dramatic, I'm still losing it over him wearing a wholeass judge wig just to decide if he should kill a traitor or not ahsjdkfg.

Armada Megan is also incredibly fun and is actually my favorite meg so far. He's got THE BEST design of all the megans and this weird complexity you wouldnt expect from first glances. The fact he was legit sad not only after Optimus died but also after Starscream died as well??? The fact he treats his men with some bits of respect and is so weirdly chill?? The fact he rightfully called Thrust a Squid-Head??? I love beetle megs <3

Alexis Thi Dang is a badass who not only befriended DepressionScream, but also talked shit to both Galvatron and Unicron and came out on top.

TRANSFORMERS: REBELLION

so this is an idea that I initially had all the way back in middle school, when I suddenly had the thought; "what if I was put in charge of writing a transformers cartoon?"

it went through several mental iterations before I eventually settled on the version that I'm currently (attempting) to write. I'm using Prime and the Bayverse films as my primary inspirations (because those are what I grew up with,) with a smattering of Animated and a dash of IDW for flavor.

I dont wanna give too much of the plot away because I do plan on posting the actual thing publicly at some point (probably on *grits teeth* AO3, because as much as I dislike that site and what it stands for, it's got the biggest audience) but its mostly a pretty bog standard transformers plot, MC gets a car, car is Bumblebee, intergalactic wartime shenanigans ensue etc, just with some more explicit robogore and swearing and stuff.

of course, a transformers story cant be a transformers story unless it has, y'know, transformers. so here's a quick rundown the the characters I intend on including in the first "season" of the story.

AUTOBOTS: Optimus Prime: I mean, it's optimus prime. everybody knows this guy. im angling more for the 'modern' interpretation of the character as a serious and wise leader. transforms into an International Lonestar 18-wheeler

Bumblebee: I'm not keeping the muteness thing for this version, because i feel like its kinda overplayed and I wanted to be able to use him to introduce the basic premise. He turns into a Chevrolet Camaro, and later, a Chevrolet Volt

Ironhide: though a bit simpleminded, hes a boisterous type of guy, always ready for a fight, kinda like the goku of cybertron. transforms into a 2021 Toyota Tacoma

Arcee: whereas Ironhide fights, Arcee kills. and shes really good at it too. Her appearance is a meld of g1 and prime, g1 styled head and coloration, with a slimmer body. transforms into a Can-Am Spyder 3 wheeled motorcycle.

Ratchet: A curmudgeonly old medic, if you've got something broken, hell fix you up, but he'll also complain the whole time. Transforms into an ambulance (duh)

DECEPTICONS: Starscream: primary antagonist for the first part of the story and leader of the hunt for the final pockets of Autobot resistance. Snide and conniving, it seems like he's always got some hidden trick or plan up his sleeve. Transforms into an F-18 Super Hornet fighter jet

Barricade: A former prison guard turned head of law enforcement, his favorite pastime is picking on those he deems weaker than himself. however, hes mostly bark without much bite, meaning that if his prey looks like they can stand up to him, hes more likely to flee than to fight. Transforms into a Hummer H1

Knock-Out: Though he got his start as a cosmetic surgeon, Knock-Out ended up garnering an encyclopedic knowledge of nearly every medical technique under cybertron's sun. he's also vain, a total coward, and a non-combatant, meaning hes not very well liked by the other decepticons. transforms into a second generation Acura NSX.

Soundwave: The enigmatic Communications Officer, it's said that he only speaks to his mini-con allies and Megatron. Efficient, dutiful, and loyal to the cause, Soundwave's presence is a constant reminder how the Decepticon cause sees and hears all. Transforms into a RQ 170 Sentinel stealth drone

Megatron: the Big Man himself, not currently on Earth, busy finalizing his induction as ruler of Cybertron. You really don't want to get on his bad side. Transforms into a Cybertronian bomber plane, visually inspired by the Imperium's air vehicles in Warhammer 40k, specifically the Thunderbolt

first draft of a boom redesign for shadow and a design for rossum.

the reason i did this was mostly bcs like,,, i was watching the boom show and it made me realize they introduced all this new lore and really shaked things up and then they just. plopped shadow in as he was, like the only real change was making him MORE of a prideful jerk (almost like a certain prince a lot of people compare him to..) and then just?? never explain anything???? so im connecting him more into the universe by tying him into some of the unique elements the boomverse had to offer. no sports tape tho, sorry.

also i did boom!rossum bcs the idea of these two being a sort of yzma and kronk/pinky and the brain style duo cracked me up. i take my baby and i make them BIG.

in this au they woke up together and thus just are just regular siblings no angst edition. the pair of them are from the time of the anicents and were woken up recently (either by eggman or sonic or both). shadow is the “ultimate fusion of technology and organic life” (*sonic voice* yeah im just gonna shorten that to “ultimate lifeform”) and rossum was a failed prototype of said plan. shadow seems to have some grand overaching goal and rossum is just along for the ride.

im just gonna ramble a lil more under the cut.

shadows kinda got his own thing going on and is much less vegeta and more just like, mysterious kinda brooding anti hero. got a strong sense of justice, which can sometimes manifest uh, violently, if he feels the situation calls for it. initally he’d prefer not to fight sonic and co but if he gets in his way he’ll crush him, but after fighting sonic both of them realise it was kind fun. their rivalry is a lot more friendly tho either will take any oportunity to fight the other. also im keeping the fact he’d blow up the universe if he felt embarrassed mostly bcs i think its really goddamn funny, ross can usually talk him out of that tho.

design wise i gave him a lot more chest fluff to obsuce that mysterious collar(tm) around his neck. gave him some funny shapes on his forehead and chest to make him look different from regular vers shadow (mostly inspired by these other boom redesigns). the belt i gave him is based on the mind control device from shattered crystal and is supposed to be one that he repurposed. his inhibitor rings have these lil crystals that like bounce back his power (i just wanted them to be a lil more detailed to draw a lil more attention to them). also his rocket boots are heels bcs i think it would be funny if he was short and also the fact they work like actual rocket boots (like. he can fly w them) reminded me of starscream. also in the sketch i gave him a cape bcs i was originally going to give him one to go w his whole brooding loner thing but i thought it might be a little,, boring? and cover up too much of his design?

rossum isnt as active as a character as shadow is, theyre generally more reacting to situations as opposed to causing them. theyre still a lil dumb but its more,, being naive about Literally Everything (whereas shadow was let out during the past it seems rossums freedom/time to develop was a lot more limited). theyve still got a gentleness to em but unlike their regularverse theyre very much not a pacifist - though they dont enjoy fighting, but are good at it and thus often have to be encouraged into fighting by shadow. often times if theyre fighting the good guys rossum takes on the rest of team sonic whilst sonic and shadow have their Rival Brawl Fight. despite that i think rossum actually likes team sonic and considers them their friends. i think them and knuckles would be good pals bcs theyre both big and dumb and sweethearts.

onto the design: theyre supposed to be a sorta inbetween of knuckles and the regular sonic character body type, so theyre big but not as big as him. third eye was replaced with shape (since theyre not aliens anymore). rossum also has a collar tho unlike shadow theirs is cracked. they also have the same inhibitor rings, tho the crystal has either been torn or broken off at some point. it might be hard to tell but their gloves and boots are now armor to play into their role as kinda shadows body guard, also the boots loose their rocket spots bcs i couldn’t see them using it like shadow would during combat.

Bumblebee, IDW.

redemption - so something i talk a lot about with bumblebee is the way he operates with the concept of redemption/second chances. i think he very much holds the belief that anyone can change, given a chance, and the only time we see him abandon that philosophy is when he's at his absolute worst - and he says over and over again that if he'd just trusted metalhawk or starscream, maybe things wouldve been different. his moral turnaround from that point CENTERS on trusting that the worst of the worst (ie: megatron) can change. that said, bumblebee isnt stupid. he doesnt play that card unless he thinks he can win with it (hence his hesitstion in early exrid) or unless he has no other options.

doubt - one thing that in my opinion sets bee apart from the rest of autobot command is that he's so uncertain - where prowl and optimus and everyone else can tell themselves that of course theyre doing the right thing, bumblebee has never ever treated that as a given, and always doubts himself. obviously he believes in their cause, but he is always questioning if hes doing the right thing, and if he's doing right by the people around him. i think that makes his position as a good guy a lot stronger, its way more believable to me that bumblebee is well-loved when he constantly questions himself and wants to do better, be better.

those two combine in a way that creates a really interesting approach to conflict, especially moral conflict. he believes its important to have someone challenging what you believe at every turn, that that's what makes you better, and that makes his relationship with starscream super interesting to me.

support - bumblebee is, i think, much more comfortable being a second than he is a leader. the sort of advisory role he takes on with starscream seems to come much more naturally to him than leadership ever did. i think that has to do with that pervasive doubt he has, its easier to offer advice then to actually have to make the decision. i dont think he's all that comfortable being in the spotlight

community - bumblebee is loved. he's everybody's pal, yknow? people know him, people like him, even the people that hate him. even before the war we see him as loved in his community, and i think thats something really important. bumblebee cares about people, just, inherently, and they care about him in return. that's important. really important. if you're writing bumblebee and he isnt kind to strangers and children youre doing it wrong. (that said, again, he's not stupid. he's nice, but hes not gonna be an idiot, especially nearer the end of the story [or early phase 2 i guess].)

you are only the second person to send me an ask actually. comedically. being the sentinel guy has many downfalls (everyone assumes someone said sentinel already /JOKE) i can do tfa prowl yes :-)

favorite thing about them well hes simply the best prowl because he absolutely isnt prowl at all. like not even close. that is just a man who happens to share the same name with prowl. im (mostly) kidding i havent really consumed a lot of tfmedia especially not any with prowl prevalent so i dont know if theres any other really good prowls and i just havent encountered them yet or whatever but i really do like his character so much. we love to see an autistic robot. i think his growth over the show is very interesting and like... hes such a handsome little man (spoken the way you would about like a tuxedo cat) his design is so interesting and again its so funny because girl that is NOT prowl! not even CLOSE!

least favorite thing about them theres not a lot i dislike about tfa prowl, but i will say the end of the show........ the season 4 scripts literally imply that scrapper mixmaster and dirtboss and wreck gar are still out there.......... they were willing to perma kill starscream on screen. for just a single tfa constructicon life we could save prowl. i guess its more of a story critique, without season 4 to have the whole ghost prowl plot happen, his death sort of feels.. out of nowhere...? he was training, he became literally so comically powerful, i guess the only thing stopping him from being the answer to all problems would be to kill him. but like... without season 4 it just feels so abrupt. still makes me cry a little though god bless (salute)

favorite line anytime tfa prowl says "fascinating..." is so everything to me. he is entranced by the beauty of organic life. but i do have to love the quip he does to bumblebee in the season 1 finale where he says that they need to use bumblebees strongest power, and after bee himself lists a few things, he cuts in and goes "Your obnoxious personality." i love that so much

brOTP i dont have a specific relationship i like the most with prowl, but i do think him and jazz shouldve gotten more screentime together. they shouldve been better friends :(

OTP did you know prowl is at the very least like a million years old? because he was drafted for the war? as in, the great war? as in, prowl is closer to ratchet aged than anyone else? this is not ending the way you think i still think bulkprowlbee is everything but prowl never clarifies hes the second oldest at all because theyre all adults so he just assumes they know however hes got like godly cybertronian genes and all that ninja training that make him look so young so one day bumblebee very boldly says something about "old bots" in reference to optimus (note: in my mind, bumblebee is like cybertronian mid 20s and optimus is cybertronian mid 30s) and prowl looks at him so baffled and goes ".... you do know im older than him, right?" and bumblebee goes "...huh" and prowl goes "bumblebee, i was drafted for the great war. im closer to ratchet in terms of age than anything." and bumblebee completely shuts down and its not for the reason you think at all its 100% because he didnt know his boyfriend was a silver fox otherwise he wouldve made like 1000 more jokes about it. everyone else is also so baffled by this revelation. i want to talk about this more in my headcanon section

nOTP im not as opposed to it as some people are, but i do still think prowl/lockdown is a little strange. i think you have to make prowl like 100% not an autobot for that which i will admit is funny as fuck but it just genuinely makes no sense to imagine them shipped in a normal tfa timeline aligned situation. also not a notp per se but sometimes i see people ship prowl and lugnut and that baffles me endlessly. you do you but also thats the funniest thing i have ever imagined. how did you get to that conclusion at all

The character I’d want to be like: yknow its pretty hard to decide when one part of a main cast is truamatized losers with insecurities trying to get by and the other is unmistakable Bad Guys who love murder and torture. So I'll go with Jazz he's chill, wish I was chill n cool like he is.

The character I’d slap: Optimus, in a 'be nicer to Bumblebee n Bulkhead or at least show them u love n respect them more before making mean comments' and Blurr in a 'I'm in love with u and violence and bullying is how I show it' sort of way. He might like catch my wrist before I make contact and toss me like a bean bag but I'm okay with that go king.

A pairing that I love: Going for a pair I don't talk about a lot for once! Bee x Rossana, Lemme Explain: Its s4 n Bee is like hyped to go to one of her concerts, the others ask why, its obvious Bee has a crush on her and they're all like 'ask her out' but Bees like 'no way shes way out of my league'. The others tell him hes stupid and also a hero to cybertron and basically drag him back stage so he asks her out, she was actually surprised bc she thought Bee being a hero n all was too good for her. They go out but Bee has no clue she is secretly a sleeper agent and the entire episode devolves into Flipside tries to murder Bee, Bee is oblivious n in love, Flipside flakes out of it until she falls in love with him too <3 and then the others find out she's a sleeper agent but Bee has cured Flipsides with the power of love so who cares new gf time.

So it’s been made clear to me I was ‘exposed’ on Twitter for hating Megastar here's the main thing. none of yall expose me, I'm open about hating this toxic abusive ship, I don’t hide it and I never once have. You don’t need to censor my name in fact, I prefer you don't. I never said or would ever to say to a victim, I have no regard or sympathy for what they went through especially not as one myself through multiple abusers. What I DONT have sympathy for is disregarding other victims for your arguably coping strategy. I would take away anyone's abuse if I could, but when you choose to ‘cope’ by promoting, fet!shizing, and romanticizing the awful terrible experience that is abuse, I will tell you to your face the damage you do to others. 

I’ll start with the big argument, it’s a coping mechanism, but coping doesn’t mean good and it is VERY dangerous to think so. One of the many I coped with the abuse from my longest abuser was starving myself and not taking my medication. It made me feel strong, and feel like I was in total control, but that did not make it good. Especially being chronically ill, I was quite literally abusing MYSELF. When it comes to a much less physical way, I coped by making fun of others when I was around 13-15 especially ‘SJWs’ I made fun of kids that are autistic (knowing I was myself but not wanting to admit to that mentally) I made fun of people really who just weren’t like me, furries, band kids, scene kids. It was a lot of self-hatred and it did in a way heal me and do what I wanted it to do a coping strategy but it wasn’t okay, it wasn’t good, and importantly it was intensely unhealthy and worsed what I went through in the long run. Heres where Megastar shippers may be shocked I did megastar. Not long, but I did, around the age of 11-12. I idolized it, and I listened to the fandom really, I said it made me feel good and it made me happy hell I even said I wanted a ‘Megatron’ in my life. Boy did I get one. and because of the ship at that. I met a much older girl and we would DM on Insta, she sent things I shouldn’t have seen and audios I shouldn’t have heard. She said outright I was her ‘Starscream’ and that Megatron did ‘he had to’ to keep Starscream as his own and that he did what he did out of pure love and I ate it up. If being abused love I wanted to be abused, I just wanted to belong. But looking back the fandom's idea and admiration for megastar was very bad on my 11-year-old mind. KEEP IN MIND the show is not for adult audiences, I was a targeted consumer and I listened and learned from the adults, from the fandom, as any child does. So when I saw both the fet!ishzation of MLM and of abuse. I learned that to be normal. And from that, I learned that to be how I should COPE when I’m sad, I should be just like them because everyone says they are happy. I'm not the only, though other people's stories aren't my to tell, I can say they mention a$sault, physical abuse, mental, etc. I shouldn’t have to explain to mostly 15-25-year-olds, why that's not true and why just because you cope with something doesn’t make it healthy.

A second big ‘argument’ I see is, ‘fiction doesn’t affect reality’ ‘it’s fictional’ ‘its a cartoon’. I don’t understand this ‘debate’ because we have seen SO. MANY. TIMES. OF. FICTION. AFFECTING. (guess what) R E A L I T Y. Take, for example, finding Nemo and both the mass flushing of pet fish and also the mass abuse of Clownfish because every child wanted a ‘Nemo’. We see this again when we look into dinosaurs actually! In mainstream media the idea of dinosaurs being scaly, reptile-like, etc. that's not true and we’ve known it's not true! Dinos are ‘speculated’ to be feathered and colorful hence why they came to be BIRDS. But that idea, because we saw in movies, stuck. And most people who don’t research (and that's most people) only saw the fictional version, that version is what stands out in their minds, to them that is a dinosaur. After 101 Dalmatians so many, I mean SO MANY, kids wanted a Dalmatian. They are amazing dogs but the thing is they need a little more training, well parents didn’t want a real dog they wanted a movie dog, a cartoon dog, and so they got puppies. When those puppies grew and became ornery and no effort was put in place to train them, they were given away in mass. We KNOW fiction affects reality, we know human brains can’t process some fictional characters (especially in anime) as cartoons. We cry over fiction, we laugh over it, we learn from it, we put morals in it for kids, I don’t get why some people still argue it doesn’t happen and I’m not going to argue with ignorance. 

Essentially here's the points. You CAN cope with Megastar, but you shouldn’t, it provides no actual help it can actually soften you to abusers, it warps the idea of abuse, it romanticizes it, (a big part of it is YOAI which is fet!shizaton of MLM) and it NORMALIZES it by being commonly consumed and a large part of the Transformers, and TFP’s specifically, fandom. Fiction DOES affect reality what you do online, say online, show online, especially to minors, is heavily altering to a mindset and to people in correlation with what's being shown. You can hate me all you want, censor my name all you want, but no one is arguing besides ‘I like it and I said so’ you can say so, I can’t silence you and I wouldn’t, but when you neglect and turn down what is blatant problems and obvious issues in front of you? That is no problem of mine :)

You ship abuse and if you are gonna keep doing it, at least own up <3

autobots having human partners makes much more sense cause not only r their human partners helping them to win the war and understand how earth works. they r also willing giving up their blood to their bot partner so they dont starve and go crazy with hunger and that shiz

the war is pretty much about the cons wanting to turn humans into livestock while the bots want the humans to remain free and willing give up their blood if they so choose

Megatron said he rescued Astrotrain from a tyrant. I thought he meant an Alt!Universe version of him, but now that I know This Bastard is gonna be in it, I’m guessing it’s Tarn

If Megatron DID save Astrotrain from Tarn, it’d be hilarious if Tarn & co. weren’t actually planning to kill Astrotrain, they were just using him as transport, in which case Megatron essentially car-jacked (train-jacked?) them.

As much as I rag on Tarn and the DJD I actually do genuinely love the idea of an Autobot + Decepticon teamup against the DJD THAT WOULD BE SO FRICKIN COOL....

Heck now I’m just imagining them playing truth or dare or some similar game while waiting for Optimus to wake up. 

I’m sure at some point during their voyage on the Ark, Optimus froze and they all played the “who can do this silly / embarrassing thing in front of Optimus and get away with it before he wakes up” game. Like, Rodimus somersaults down the hall while spouting fire in front of Optimus, Bee does a handstand while singing the alphabet backwards, etc, and whoever’s in front of Optimus when he “wakes up” loses. (It’d be even funnier if Optimus kept pretending to be frozen while they played until someone did something REALLY embarrassing and he unfroze to freak them out. Then again, the Matrix going back into his chest would probably be too much of a giveaway huh)

Whatever he saw in that other universe convinced him that killing Optimus just wasn’t worth it (or perhaps, deep deep DEEP down, he really doesn’t want to kill his old friend).

He entered this series as a warm up to Inferno. Loyal, eager to please, dumb as shit and is easily fooled by even Waspinator. I didn't appreciate him at the time, but looking back on him? I kinda appreciate this dumb, mindless grunt.

I was never a fan of his forms, in all honesty. But now I can appreciate the whole 'mindless goon has face obscured' look hes got. He wasnt extraordinary, but he was memorable in his mindless following. I dont hate him, and hes kinda a cutie. Sooo I'll give him 7/10. Maybe 6/10.

Terrorsaur!!(Aerial Combat Specialist):

Okay so I was proven wrong. THIS was basically Starscream in this series. Megatron shall fall motherfucker. Minus his few traitorous tendencies, he was otherwise...kinda useless to this series.

I got one thing to say though. How can you go from this sick, burnt looking bird for a beast mode, but...you get THIS as a robo form? Hes so pretty. Why is he SO pretty?! Smooth white face, deep red optics? Thick thighs? Is it because there are Knockout similarities?? Because hes...so. fucking. Pretty. But hes such a shit. I dont understand.

Verdict: hes pretty as shit, but I legit forgot he existed for a bit. So hes gonna be low at 6/10. 8/10 if he does my makeup.

Quickstrike!!(Sub commander in waiting):

Hes a cowboy. A fuckboy. A cow fuck. Yeah sounds about right. I didnt care for him for 90% of the time he was on the screen. I love the cowboy characters usually, but he just wants to kill shit. The only time I really like him, is when hes flustered by Blackarachnia. Dumb, flustered cowboys are my absolute weakness. Also hearing his pick up lines, 'sugar bug'? Never gets old for me. If I could spend all day just flirting back and forth with the guy, I'd like him significantly more. Minus that?...hes just a dick.

Rampage!!(Warlord):

Your friendly neighborhood serial killer! Hes a complete dick who I absolutely hated when he came into this series. But...I kinda have a small crush on him, honestly. First of all, big boy, he is RIPPED. Dont even care about that maw of a mouth bring that face over here. Okay thirsting time over. For now. This dude came off as just some killing jackass, but hes got a personality? And a deep chuckle? And hes got feelings? Feelings which, I felt could've been explored far more honestly. It was the only time he didn't feel stabby.

Baby let me hit it. But in all seriousness, hes actually really cool? And I really liked his character the more light they shed on him. He has a lot in common with Depthcharge in a way, loners, with such high focus on each other. I feel like his serial killer character was a nice addition, and a nice nod to Starscream. Plus he's the reason Depthcharge was in the series. Overall? 8/10, good character and really happy to have him here.

Starscream!!(local poltergeist):

Same bastard as always. It was the same cheating, lying, cunning bastard. I enjoyed his role here, his destiny to purely fuck with everyone in power, and provide another shippable moment between him and Blackarachnia. Love how he was essentially giving her backstabbing classes, then gets killed off by her. Honestly this episode had no flaws.

Okay so I did some research after this episode appeared. And honestly, I like them more (referred to as she in other media, he or it/them in this show). In some really messed up way, they ARE kinda cute. Terrifying as they are. In a different media, we see what they WOULD'VE been, and if anyone's interested, message me let's chat, I'll just be focusing on this one in this show. Looks, I HATE it. It scares me. If it tries to hug me I'm punching it. But personality? Its...cute. infantile. But I feel bad for it. You guys I'm glad it died, it would've literally suffered how it was here. I'm gonna go 7/10, for personality, and giving characterization to Rampage.
