i'll confess. i went on an elliot spree bc on the day i sent my final, the black friday sales were still up in the local comic store so i decided to treat myself. i went and i bought volume 6 of pandora hearts exclusively because of elliot's first appearance. the dude there was kinda mean and laughed at me for asking something obvious, he even went as far as calling the other attendant and tell them about how dumb my question had been. i've been trying not to think about it for the last days. i draw to cope.

went to milan last week and brought back some italian little guys :D

i've been living like a caveman for some weeks now as my car's cassette adapter aux thing broke so ive had to have a little speaker in my car and connect my phone to it. i finally got a new one today and. i forgot my shit ass phone loves spitting headphone jacks out and this time i cant fix it so im still living like a caveman idk how long i can take not hearing sweet beats in my car coming from somewhere else than the car itself

I hate when my phone won't let me have 2 audio sources running at the same time (depending on the app). I know what I'm doing, let me hear the discordant noises. My brain has built-in audio separation for music. It came as compensation for auditory processing issues. Don't make me pause the music.

#i also go absolutely fucking feral when my phone lowers the audio to play a notification sound #I CAN SEPARATE THE AUDIO. I CANT UNDERSTAND THE VIDEO IM WATCHING IF THE VOLUME SUDDENLY GOES TO ...#... 1% TO PLAY MY NOTIFICATION SOUND #wish i could turn that off more than the 2 audio sources one but i already tried researching how and its not possible with my means #i want to hear the notification sound but not at the cost of understanding what was just said on a video #especially if my hands are covered in paint and i cant rewind it #like i said. audio processing. often cant understand whats said under normal circumstances #suddenly lowering the volume makes it worse than having the notif and video play simultaneously #same with music and a video going. i dont wanna stop the vibe to play a video/short video/moment of video to bookmark the link #its not a phone ability issue bc i can play music while my battery-draining phone game plays!!#((usually dont tho bc i like the game music but if im playing while walking i need other music on even if its discordant))#((sometimes its not discordant which is fun))#oh correction before i post: i can usually understand whats said by understanding the other words spoken and mentally filling in the blanks #...for the words i missed. but when the audio goes to like 1% for a full like 5 seconds i miss an entire convo worth of audio #...on top of being pissed ab the audio being lowered for something easily filtered like a little 1 second chime #its hard enough to focus on what words people are speaking even face to face in person #im tired idk where im going w this now #ShitPost.exe #Cori.exe #seriously tho i love putting a song on repeat for hours and doing whatever. if i pause it its like. idk #in the middle of a shower. ur phone holds u at gunpoint to step out and take a shot of ketchup while u still got soap in ur eyes #then once u shoot the ketchup u can go back to showering and ur phone loses its ability to hold u at gunpoint.#like. i may not historically be opposed to a shot of ketchup for the meemz...#...but i dont want my shower interrupted at gunpoint by my phone to make me shoot ketchup...#...and then have to finish the shower with the taste of ketchup still lingering.#im tired i promise im not high thats just the best analogy for how wrong it feels to have to stop the music vibe thats been going for hours #man these tags went on longer than the post deserved and now im too tired to read what i wanted lmao #prob doesn't even make sense goOD NIGHT #delete later / /#((future cori can be the judge of that present cori is too tire))

Not having Raphne around on a straight non-Rafa route is really weird tbh.

#They were the most realistic Love Island couple ngl #I liked that they've had their own drama (and sweet moments) that weren't centred around MC #But last volume they both got dumped before they could squash their drama with Uma #And it feels empty without them #Also off Rafa route Daphne replaced Bonnie as MC's second friend which I much appreciated #But now that she got dumped Bonnie took her place back #So we're essentially back to the Casa squad + the obsessed delulu ex and Vicky who's mostly a non-entity in my playthrough #And say what you want about them but Raphne were still a better day 1 power couple than Nope Finnkat and Grozzy at least off Rafa route #litg #litg s7 #litg stick or twist

not that this means anything to anyone but v4 (yellow) I'm rly proud of finally fucking getting at the gym today its taken me 3 visits over the last 3 weeks to nail it. woof......

#the start is NASTY i do it with one foot crammed in the top corner of the right semicircular one and wedge my hands as firmly as i can-#backwards against the top of the other dual tex on the left n push until i can reach the middle n bring my left foot up..#lemme tell u now. those starting holds are higher off the ground than u think 😵‍💫 theyre above hip height for me #dual tex is slippery hard plastic rather than the usual sandpapery texture of indoor holds btw. see the light reflecting off it? yeah.#fucking death trap for sweaty or chalky hands but in order to use the top of the volume later u 100% need chalk #so i have to start without it n chalk up halfway #also im relatively short (for a climber.. not short generally lol) so i cant reach the volume w both feet secure. was giving me hell 😭#cuz it means i have to put my whole weight on a CURVED DUALTEX SURFACE!!!!! theres not even rly any good spots to smear #so scary. and yeah the finish is a pain without crazy reach too i had to get a whole elbow on top of the black volume before i could #on my like 4th? try today i got one hand on the final hold and my friend watching said out loud wouldnt it be sooo annoying if u fell rn #and i slipped just as he fucking said that bc he put the idea in my head but luckily JUST caught myself w a smear. did 90 pages of my reading for three different classes is everyone proud of me :) finished the chapter on judaism for my sacred texts class, read "an apology for poetry" by sir philip sidney for my lit theory class, and did my two chapters of reading from the truth about stories by thomas king for my folklore and mythology class. and wrote a summary paper on that sacred texts chapter. and did my little writing assignment for my french class. all while sick. who is going to kiss me on the forehead and tell me i did a good job

#read an absolutely inordinate amount of hannibal fanfic in the time inbetween and it's frankly impressive that i got anything done #considering the sheer volume of words i consumed on ao3 today. but that's simply the way and nature of things #so tomorrow i have until 12:30 to do a journal assignment for folklore and mythology #and also to read billy budd by herman melville which the internet says should take an hour and a half. easy peasy. baby reading #hoping i feel better when i wake up tomorrow. called out of work for the morning so i just have to be well enough #to get through that like. six hour period of school between 1:30 and 6:45 :/#masked up and hands sanitized and body dayquil'd. obviously. and i'm covid negative i think i just genuinely have stress sickness #felt this sore throat coming on for like two weeks before it actually hit yesterday the moment i got a good night's sleep. so. haha #shout out to the exhaustion sickness! sorry for being so rough on you body. i'll try not to schedule you for activities #from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed again. i don't make the best of decisions #valentine notes
