her name is opti and she works for the pelican town jojamart 🙏 she’s 21 yrs old and drinks a lot more than a woman her age should. (often with shane, until he gets help!)

possibly one of if not the most social/friendly people in the store, but has, like, negative emotional maturity. perpetually getting nerfed by her view of herself as an inevitable letdown, especially when other people (see: shane) manage to get better while she sits stagnant. her failure is a self-fulfilling prophecy, and she acts out as a cry for help like a troubled schoolkid would. morris (who believes she has potential and is constantly irritated by her lack of drive) is very disappointed in her. she thinks he is a corporate idiot who assumes she dreams of labour. (he does not believe she dreams of labour, he just wishes she dreamt of being alive in two years.)

she gets along with shane and dobson (who i have randomly decided just Exists in this AU, fuck you concernedape i do what i want!!!!!!). also gets along with sam, but he’s not as much in her age range. she has a strained relationship with morris because they both have crazy issues but i like to think they have a weird workplace father-daughter dynamic. You Can Tell I Like These Strained Parental Dynamics Can’t You! 😭😭😭

she’s bi and has a couple personality issues which i don’t specifically want to name. also she’s a fucking tiktok-pop fiend and is really irritating about it, like, she will call you an antifeminist if you don’t lick swift’s feet. (is this solely to go along with the stupidly ooc but frankly hilarious morris-mega-autistic-swiftie crack hc that i have for some reason latched onto? PERHAPS. WHAT’S IT TO YOU?!?!?!?!?)
