Ngl…sometimes I miss how completely unhinged pre-Battle for the Cowl Jason Todd could be.

This is a telegram(???) that Jason sent to Dick after he spent multiple issues of Nightwing running around New York City murdering people dressed in his own(???) Nightwing suit and then turned into a tentacle monster and ate some guys. (Then he barfed the guys up and kept fighting them.)

Absolutely baffling. I love it. It’s art. It doesn’t make any sense in context, either. I miss this energy.

Writeblr Video Game Recs?

This is super random, but based on @tryingtimi’s tags about Divinity and a convo I had with @bloodlessheirbyjacques, I’m super curious: do any of my fellow writeblrs have video games that they really like??? Specifically from a writer’s perspective??

For example, Divinity Original Sin 2 is a FANTASTIC game regarding its mechanics and actual “game feel”, but it’s also super well-written and I love it as both a player and a writer.

@tc-doherty and I have talked about the Fire Emblem games a lot, especially in regards to some of the characters.

@aninkwellofnectar has mentioned Fallout: New Vegas, for a non-fantasy example! Another great game from a storyteller perspective!

I also love Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and the Baldur’s Gate games (for the first two BG games, don’t get hung up on the visuals, the story and characters are incredible, I promise)!!!! 

Any others y’all recommend??? Specifically games you appreciate as writers?
