Author’s note: thank you for your request my darling, of course this title was inspired by Lisa Lisa And The Cult Jam’s “Head To Toe.” But anyway, I hope I written this right! As I always say, if you didn’t like this I could always write you a whole new one. I’m not too familiar with hypochondriac so I’m sorry if it’s not exactly right in some ways. Um but yup.

So much has been on your mind. So much enough that as you lie in your bed and just toss and turn. You feel so off today, and you just feel aware of it all. You simply don’t know what’s going on with yourself!

Possibilities on top of possibilities crowd your mind on why you could be this tired, and lacking your usual energy. Busying yourself while being alone inside the dimly-lit room. Oh my gosh, what if I’m severely sick? Maybe I’m pregnant? Why the heck am I so tired? Wait, or it could be the flu? You gasp to yourself, clasping your dainty hand over your mouth as you continue to grow concerns on your self diagnosing. You inhale a deep breath, “okay, let’s stop playing doctor and try to-“ you exhale out to calm yourself until-

“hunny? Can I come in?” A light knuckle knock is heard and interrupts your thoughts, your head whips to the bedroom door and you hum. You can recognize that southern, sweet honey voice from anywhere.

“of course, Elvis. Come on in,” you hum out softly. Running flat of your palms down the creases of the red duvet to straighten anything besides straight. Make yourself at least a little presentable.

The creaky sound of the door is faint, you glance up to meet your boyfriend’s eyes. Those blue pupils that can capture you dead at any second of the day. You smile gently and wave a small hi, “hey, beautiful.” You sigh out with a soft laugh, trying to seem not at all troubled. But he knows you too damn well now.

“Hi handsome,” he snickers with that lip curl and crawls onto the bed with you. Shuffling into the comfy, velvety crimson sheets. You turn your head to press your forehead to his smooth, freshly shaven cheek. “Baby, what’s going on? I expected to see ya after rehearsals. Ya always come with mah lunch, I missed your pretty ass.” He chuckles out but a soft frown plants onto his face and you only inhale deeply to calm and sort your reasoning.

You find comfort and comprehension when you smell the spicy, homey cologne he wears all day everyday, shrugging shoulder to shoulder. “I-I…I don’t know what’s the matter with me now, I just feel, off.” You admit breathlessly, snuggling up to his side.

He purses his lips and nods understandingly, then wrapping his meaty arms to squish you lovingly into his lap. You smile widely, feeling so comfortable in his embrace. “Oh, m’sorry baby, I didn’t know ya felt like this…why dontcha relax? Ya can postpone the girls’ night out some time soon, and all that.” He says softy, his chubby and squishy chin that you adore rests on the top of your head. Nestled onto the beautiful locks of hair that’s on top of your pretty head.

You pout and bury your face into his neck, your nose into the crease that smells most immaculate. So strong of salty sweat, and tangy, spicy musk of his men’s perfume. “I don’t know how to relax,” you whisper out warmly against his chest. You then gasp and break away in his gentle embrace, with frightened eyes, “what if I’ve got hypochondria! I mean, c’mon that would explain so much-“

“Aw c’mere, my big-a-baby.” He smiles and shakes his head silly at you. His adorable baby. He cuddles you all back to his arms. “Yer fine, my girl. From your head tah toe. I’ll repeat myself, from ya pretty little head to yer itty bitty toes that walk the precious earth, you’re healthy as new. And even if not, and you feel off, like now for example, you’ll get through with it. That’s final.” He reassures sternly but with a heart warming tone.

You’re too fuzzy in love to protest, nodding weakly in his hug and you let out a gentle, “okay, daddy.” You whisper out, fluttering your eyes and wrap your arms to fully embrace your lover.

You find such love and comfort in this moment. From his prodding belly that you mold around just perfectly makes you smile to yourself. Probably healing you. His clothed, big arms trapping you sweetly, making you but yet willingly engulf his signature scent. To the chest hair from years of maturity from boy to man, tickle and scrape against your chin. This is it. This is your lover.

This is your cure.

Jake eyes you from a distance away, sitting beside Penny and Amelia on a beach towel. He didn’t intend to stare, but you had caught his eye, and he hadn’t been able to look away. The sun catches your your hair, casting a sort of glow around you, almost like a halo. Jake watches as you tilt your head back, laughing at something Penny said, his white linen shirt on your frame, open at the front and slipping off your shoulder on one side. Your own cover up, a sundress, is stuffed into the wicker bag you have behind you.

“Seresin,” Payback yells from across the sand, pulling Jake back to the present, the weight and shape of the football which he is holding in his hands drawing his attention once again.

“I’m out,” Jake calls back, tossing the ball to the nearest of the group, legs going from a stride to a jog as he makes his way back up the beach. It makes Phoenix throw up her hands, letting her palms come smacking back down on her thighs.

“Where the heck is he going?” She grumbles, only to hear a knowing laugh from Coyote who cocks his head in response towards where Jake is heading, towards you

“He can’t control himself can he?” Fanboy muses, to which Coyote shakes his head. Rooster just laughs, hands on his lips, shades on his face.

“It’s like a moth to a flame,” Bob muses, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

“He-” you see Jake approaching you the moment he starts trekking his way up the sand. You open your mouth to greet him as he drops down onto the beach towel beside you, only to be cut off by the feel of his lips against yours.

“We’re going to get more drinks,” you hear Penny call, her tone amused, as she drags Amelia off, allowing you both a semblance of whatever privacy you could find on a crowded beach.

“Hi,” you finally say as he pulls away, your eyes slightly glazed from the kiss. Jake slips his hand across your stomach, fingers splaying out on your skin, under his shirt, wrapping around your ribs. You take the opportunity to reach out and push his sunglasses off the bridge of his nose and onto his head.

“I hate that you aren’t wearing the ring,” Jake says, fingers squeezing against your skin as he leans over to kiss your shoulder, the movement causing his shirt which was already slipping off your shoulder to fall midway down your arm.

“I told you, I didn’t want to risk dropping it,” you respond, distracted by his lips on your shoulder, pressing a line of feather light kisses up to the base of your neck.

“How would anyone know you are mine,” he grumbles against your skin before pulling back.

“Jake,” your voice is a mix of amusement and exasperation, “your hand is feeling it’s way under the strings of my bikini, I’m wearing your shirt, and you just trailed an entire line of kisses up my shoulder. I think everyone knows.”

Your response makes him laugh, his eyes lighting up, clear delight on his features. He hums in delight, leaning over so that you both are nose to nose.

“We could make it irrefutably clear,” he suggests, and you feel hands nudging you onto the beach towel. You let yourself fall backwards, yours back connecting with the fabric of the towel.

Jake’s head hovers over yours, offering you a shield from the sun, each of his palms flat on the towel beside your head. He grins, a wink following the twinkle in his eyes.

“Jake,” you warn, “don’t.”

“Don’t what?”

“Don’t wrestle me,” your eyes dart across his features, choosing to implore to a different side of him, “my swimsuit is tiny.” It earns you you a warm chuckle of response.

“Arms around my neck,” he orders and you look at him quizzically, “no wrestling, promise.”

You grumble, incoherently, as you throw your eyes around his neck, clasping them securely behind. Jake plucks his shades off, tossing them onto the beach towel, before he slides his arms behind your back, in between his shirt and your body, lifting you easily off the ground.

“Jake,” you gasp, legs winding around his waist, securing yourself against him. A hand slides to the bottom your ass, and the other goes around your waist as he stands, supporting you, “what are you doing?”

“Taking you swimming,” is what he says and you bring your head back to look at him.

“No,” you protest, voice akin to a squeal while you push against his chest, “Jake, I’m still wearing your shirt, it’ll get wet.”

“Let it,” he grips your skins tighter, and ducks his head to press another kiss to your shoulder, this time nipping at your skin lightly with teeth. The nip goes straight down to your core.

“Jake,” you repeat your protest again, but this time, your hands go back from the front of his chest to twist around his neck again, “really? Teeth?”

“That wasn’t what you were saying last night,” Jake squeezes your ass, eyes looking straight into yours and you choose to smile both innocently and sweetly at him, which earns you a boyish laugh.

You hear splashing as Jake walks into the water. It follows, with you feeling cool waves lapping at your skin, as he walks further in, submerging you both up to your chests.

“This is ridiculous,” you tell him, but you legs still wound tight around him, body pressed to his, and hands secure around his neck tells a different story. You dart your head towards the beach where you have an audience of Naval Aviators now sitting in a line along the sand, watch the both of you, carrying on conversations among themselves, “we have an audience,” you groan, just as Coyote raises a hand in a wave, shit eating grin on his face, a sharp whistle coming from his lips.

Jake throws a lazy glance over, whistling back through his teeth, to which Coyote only laughs, before turning his attention back to you.

“Easily fixed,” he says, pulling you under water in one swift motion, submerging you both completely before pulling you both back up. You splutter in shock, hair wet, droplets of water running down your face, Jake laughs, gripping you tighter to him, firm, as you wipe water from your eyes.

“I’m drenched,” you say accusatorially, and Jake’s reply does not surprise you one bit, causing you to roll your eyes.

“As you always are babe.”

“You’re annoying Seresin,” you huff.

Jake takes you in, water dripping from your hair, droplets sliding down your face, catching the sunlight, causing your skin to glisten, his shirt billowing out in the water behind you.

“I love you,” he leans forward. Jake’s lips are warm against yours, salty from the sea. The kiss is chaste, surprisingly, and you kiss him back, before moving your hands to swipe drops of water off his cheekbones,

“Then stop trying to kill me,” you squeeze the sides of his face inwards, and Jake only laughs, before pulling you under water again. This time you manage to yelp before you go under. He knows you love him too.

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

Wario - When Waluigi was born, though he’ll never ever admit it. He swears if he was even remotely artistically competent, he’d be able to paint a picture of what the room looked like, where their parents were, and how it looked when he got to hold Waluigi for the first time. It’s so well stamped into his mind that he recalls it on days he’s really stressed out. As a reminder for why he keeps working so hard.

Waluigi - The first ‘invention’ he and Wario made. He barely spoke at the time as Wario knew what Waluigi needed, so he never had to ask for anything. But working on making a prototype for their ‘Chores Robot’ (so the worry of keeping the house clean wasn’t such a burden), it was the first time that Waluigi took over. Telling Wario what he needed and what part needed to go where. Even if it didn’t work (seriously, why the heck did they think sticks and rocks would be good materials?) Waluigi was still thrilled by the idea of building. 

Mario - It was a conversation between him and his father. Learning about how sick Luigi was and how scary it could be. But also talking about what they could do, together, to keep the younger twin safe. It was the first promise Mario made to anyone. A promise to his parents, said to his father, that he would keep Luigi safe and well, no matter what. Because he loves Luigi, and he wouldn’t let anything keep them apart if he could help it.

Luigi - When he was able to go outside for the first time. While the twins were a little older at this point, Luigi’s early early memories consisted of white walls and doctors. This was the first solid memory he had. He remembered it was nearing the end of Spring, if not already in Summer, when he saw something outside the window that he really wanted to see. He was well enough to leave the house, but still fearful, until Mario agreed to take him outside. While he could only reach the edge of the patio, he was still able to get a better look at the flowers that interested him. Mario told him they were looking at roses. Those are his favorite flower to this day.

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Wario - He loves to hear Waluigi snoring. It lets him know that his brother’s still there. He wouldn’t listen to it on end, but it’s a comforting reminder.

Waluigi - He started to learn how to cook so it was one less burden Wario and his mother had to deal with. But he says it's because no one in the family besides himself knows what spices work together.

Mario - He’s very shy about it, but he loves to sing. Mainly to Luigi with a lullaby from their childhood, on days when they're feeling nostalgic and missing their parents. But…if asked…he wouldn’t say ‘no’ if Peach asked to hear him. 

Luigi - He took up baking as a way to stay close to their mom, as well as to learn how to embrace every second given to him. Because nothing lets you think about life like waiting for cake to rise.

LBFAD rewatch observations part 9

1. His little touched expression when Xiao Run says "whats mine is yours, my friends are your friends" 🥺

2. Both of them feeling confused and guilty about Xiao Run and Lady Wanqing and naturally gravitating towards each other. Her saying "I'm in bad moood, chat with me." Him telling her I understand your feelings, I'm feeling them as well. Aahhh. Cutie patooties. 🥰

3. XLH hugging Danyin after realizing it was her because she had missed her!! "This expression, this tone, you used when you used to bully me eeeekkkk!!" *happy baby*

4. Danyin posessing the only brain cell in the entire Mortal Realm Arc and immediately saying "What, why the heck would Xiao Run kill his bride? With his personality? You dum dums planned your whole game on this ?!?"

5. Danyin really said "Gurl I will cut you! Don't test me." And I love her for that.

6. Ronghao using all his master manipulation tricks to guilt Xiao Lanhua but her still hesitating and being brave enough to say "DFQC is not a bad person". 🥺🥺 And it wasn't the threat to Changheng's life or Lady Wanqing's life that finally breaks through to her. It was when Ronghao reveals that DFQC plans on releasing the soldiers to wage war against Shuiyuntian that we begin to see her mind shift. The concept of "one person vs all people" really is at the core of her. (also it was the fact that DFQC lied to her that further pushes her...but gurl you lied too -__-)

7. Earlier, her telling him: "He is Xiao Run not Changeheng, he is not your enemy." And then later when she says I thought you and Xiao Run were friends now! and his reply of "Yes. He is Xiao Run. Not Changheng." *chefs kissess* 🤌🏼🤌🏼

8. Im gonna lose my mind. DFQC yelling at Shangque to find Lady Wanqing and Xiao Run and make sure no mistake happens because Lady Chidi's spirit is the most important thing right now. And then LITERALLY 5 SECOND LATER he kills Lady Wanqing without a second thought because she was about to kill XLH. THIS MAN. THISS MANSSS. He really just says "Xiao Lanhua >>>>>>" over and over and over again.

9. That badass music that usually only plays for DFQC scenes being played for XLH 😍😍😍😍😍

10. I swear they extended Dylan Wang Hedi's eyeliner or gave him even more lashes after the mortal realm arc cuz no way he is looking even more puppy/doe eyed than usual without even trying. Like he has got the "boy you're in love" look all overr him even while talking about politics.

11. The way she peaks out from behind the curtain and looks at him?!? The cute little bright sunshine smile she gives?!?!? The way he looks in her direction expecting her to pop out from there?!?!?? IM DYING THESE 2 KILLING ME.

Okay now I think I can share some thoughts (fyi still screaming, now just internally)

First of all!!! WHAT!! AN!! AMAZING!! CHAPTER!! I am obsessed!!!! Literally, they only kissed, and still, my heart was beating so fast out of excitement!! First, you leave us with the almost-kiss at the end of pt 11 and now they were basically all chapter long almost-kissing lol but when it finally happened it was perfect!!! Totally worth the wait! Couldn’t imagine a better first kiss for the two hehe and I am so so excited about all the teasing from the others that is coming

Anyway… some of my fav parts (kiss is on top, no doubt lol) (also I’m living for sunwoo being a warning)

He giggles and shifts underneath you, his hands around your waist to hold you in place. You smile and continue to plant kiss after kiss all over his face, getting closer and closer to his lips. Honestly, to sum really, just everything about him, from his sweet, intelligent, smart, beautiful, genuine, and kind personality that shows greatly to others, especially when they are in a similar state to his own past; such as Kyouka, Lucy and even to Sigma, I believe! While also having this sassy, blunt and almost bite to his speech with people that just get on his nerves or like are just out of the norm of how people act; he’s like so confused and in a constant state of “??? Why are these much older people behaving like this??” His many surprised or deadpanned faces are just the best to see 😂🥺 He is just so much more than many make him out to be! And believe me it’s a pain sometimes being in the fandom 👀 and yet I stay for the ongoing series and for him 💖🐯

He’s a hard worker! He is doing his damn hardest and is so strong and confident and brave! 😤💖

Mi Tigre has been through hell and back so many times, in such a short period. He’s endured so much mental, emotional and physical pain (like fecking hell all the times with Aku and his stupid anger 😞😣) and still manages to be so much better than what his Headmaster wanted him to be. It amazes me how much his process towards healing isn’t a straight line or easy way through. He is still very much reflecting on his past, on the current moments the define people he loves and cares for, and has his ticks that remind hard times.

Honestly, I never realized how much I felt a kinship with that. I have my own experiences and such and have realized, with time, how it actually affected me. Am still in a state of healing, I have my moments and try to be better to break free from the past and current hurts. ✨

The way Atsushi came to terms with his ability as accepting this part of himself that he hates, truly hit me the second time over. Cause I have been in that position, many of time. Surprisingly, it’s actually a similar confrontation my S/i, or main Oc (a reflection of me), faces in my Digimon College Au. A beautiful scene and rather heart wrenching to witness, but it’s the after moment when Atsushi accepts his ability and the tiger sees that truly, that resonates. A hard but beautiful moment to see. And I love both iterations of the Anime and Manga!

Bloody hell, I rewatched Dead Apple in the English dub and,,,I wasn’t the same after hearing Atsushi’s voice and just overall composure break at recalling the abuse Shibusawa put him through like… my heart broke, I took a moment to like cry and just reflect a moment cause 😭 heck that never happened before (props a lie 👀). Biggest scenes for Atsushi and truly accepting his tiger through and through in that movie too.

Sorry about the small heavy talk, my rambles go in tangent than like in a direct point ;;w;; but even so! Atsushi truly makes me happy! His personality, his overall appearance, he’s so cute and handsome and awkward sometimes like 😳👀 boi who gives you the right? Also his color palette ✨💖✨💖 best!
